a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by VitaminHeart

Description

Name: 101

Species: Synthetic Being.

Gender: Unknown.

Age: 3 years (Though is considerably more mature than a human that age would be.)

Height: 5'10

Appearance: 101 is a gangly, oddly shaped figure, with extremely pale, rather fragile skin and red-orange hair. Its eyes are a flooded blue hue, with no visible white or pupil. Its fingers are long and slightly webbed, arm quite long and bony. One arm appears to be missing entirely. It has no mouth, and hardly any evidence of a nose.

Personality:Being unable to speak, 101 comes across as somewhat animalistic. It creeps around in a nervous fashion, and takes violently against doctors or anyone that resembles a doctor. Underneath it actually thinks quite a great deal. It dreams of a life as an ordinary human, though knows it's not really possible.

Strengths:

Unknown.

Weaknesses:
-Has nearly no immune system and becomes infected with diseases easily.
-Is unable to eat or drink conventionally due to lack of mouth.

History:101 was designed as a donor artificial, a life-form created simply to hold internal organs that could be used for donation for clients. Many of its 'siblings' were created near identical, and all were gradually 'harvested' until they expired. It was held in the laboratory of a medical centre for most of her life, before eventually taking the chance to leave. It managed to spring out of a window and make a run for it.

So begins...

101's Story

101 began to root around in the plastic back slung over its shoulder, pulling out a widee, flat electronic device. It was supposedly an iPad or something like that, so the person who had given it to 101 had said.

The battery had died some time ago, and the creature didn't really understand why the screen no longer lit up and the colours and shapes no longer appeared. It felt rather sad that they didn't, and was beginning to wonder why it still carried the thing around now that it had shut off its secrets.

101 shuffled through the door at a slow, laborious pace, dragging its webbed feet along, remaining arm hung loosely at its side. The thin membrane between its toes was torn in places, being fragile an easily broken.

The creature in general seemed to be in rather a state of...disrepair for lack of a better word, its eyes dull and pallid skin becoming blotched with unhealthy patched of yellow and purple.

The strange creature awakwardly hoisted itself onto a stool with a wheezy sound of effort, rather muffled by its lack of mouth, a plane of smooth, pale skin where lips should be.

101 reached forwards, pushing the door open to allow itself inside, and shuffled its way into the bar for the third time that week, though in all honesty it was beginning to wonder why it did. It had spent its time perched on a stool, watching every other patron engaged in conversation.

As the days had went by, the stange creature's appearance had taken on a rather more macabre appearance. Its skin was blotchy and peeling, the webbing between its fingers and toes getting broken and sagging.

The mouthless creature shambled inside, its toes folding forwards as it dragged its feet without much concern for its posture.

101 shuffled its way over to the bar and pulled itself up onto a stool, hunching downwards and drawing its knees up, and gazing around at the other patrons. It had toyed with trhe idea of trying to get someone....anyone's attention...but it was made a little harder by the lack of mouth and fuinctioning vocal chords.

101 leaned its arms forwards on the bar, fumbling for the change left in the pocket of the garment it was wearing. It had found most of it, and was not entirely sure of its vlasue in all honesty. It all looked just like mundane metal disks.

101 set its change down of the surface of the bar, leaning forwards and trying to make out the numbers on the coins with some difficulty. Its eyes were not very complex, and not too well equipped for picking out details.

The creature had begun to smell slightly of decay or infection, missing patches of skin quite visible as it pulled its sleeves back, emitting a low, muffled sugh and rubbing its forehead.

101 lifted its head to regard the television, pulling out its tablet device from the bag it carried again and blearily comparing the two. It was not the same device. It remembered a television in the past, it had learned most of what it knew from that television...though this was rather different from the sort of things it had remembered watching. The staff at the centre must have had rather different tastes.

101 looked over again, tilting its mouthless head slightly as it watched the new arrival in the bad beginning to try and initiate a conversation with the television. It rubbed its eyes a little, wondering of it was seeing right. It didn't seem to make a lot of sense.
