His outward personality all depends on how his master acts around him. If his master is carefree and happy and plucky, then then Maalik will mimic this behavior. IF his master is hard, resolved and dominant. then he will play the submissive servant Djinni. And so on and so forth. However if his master does something he doesnt like then he will make his master's wishes the way that his master doesn't like and possibly make him waste a wish. He is also a trickster when it comes to masters he doesn't like. He will often try to trick his masters into making wishes they didn't mean to. Though if he likes his master he will ask him if he's sure he wants to make that wish rather than just doing it all willy nilly. He will even explain consequences to masters that he's grown fond of.
