Description
A young physique, athletic and sturdy. A defined jaw with deep brown eyes yet untouched by the troubles of life. A pair of calloused hands, beaten but warm.
Personality
Young and outgoing, though quiet when he needs to be. Often unsure of himself, a tendency to be naive and unsuspecting, but is slowly developing an instinct for identifying evil or immoral people. He has a clear code of ethics, and an uncompromised sense of right and wrong that only a youth could uphold. Though often unsure of the world around him, he is ridiculously brave, and maintains a deep sympathy and care for others.
Equipment
A long, weathered jacket draped over a T-shirt, faded jeans, running shoes and a backpack slung over his left shoulder. Has adequate fighting skills, aquired from his rough childhood.
History
A wanderer without home or shelter, he roams where he may, discovering and realizing himself in the process. Born into a harsh environment, he is toughened and rash, though not nearly as hardened mentally. He has adequate fighting skills, aquired from a childhood of struggle, and knows how to use a gun, though he doesn't have one for himself. Despite his rough past, he hardly knows enough of the world to realize how dark it is. His nature, naive to some, is both a gift and a weakness.
So begins...
Adrian Erith's Story
Adrian Erith blinks once, straining to divert his attention over to the Drake. He rubs the back of his neck with his hand, a bit embarressed, "Sorry. I've never seen a...um...dragon before," he tries to choose his words carefully, "I wasn't sure if you could talk." His eyes dart back over to Amy, and he grins youthfully. Maybe he should talk to her...
Adrian Erith his attention snaps back to the Drake, "Love?" The word drops of his tongue unwillingly. It is not foreign to him, but has obviously never been uttered in a long while. He looks again over at Amy, breathes, then back to the Drake
Adrian Erith remembers the reason he stayed behind in this bar in the first place...he looks over at Jaden and Mariotto
Adrian Erith takes a last, longing look over at Amy. It's obvious he doesn't want to leave, but his feet compel him
Adrian Erith attempts to drive himself between Jaden and Mariotto, using his body as a shield between them, "Please, friend," speaks frantically to Jaden, "I know this won't make a damn-worth of sense but..."
Adrian Erith "For the love of god, I'm begging you, don't go with that..." his eyes flare with anger and defiance, "...that..." he cannot find the words. He does not know them
Adrian Erith looks down at the growling drake by his side. Were the situation less dire, he would have marvelled at having dragon for an ally. A confused look lights his face at the mentioning of "vampires". To him, Mariotto was just a charming man with a bad vibe he had somehow managed to pickup.
Adrian Erith looks after Jaden like a father watching his son go to war. He does not protest anymore then he already did.
Adrian Erith looks up at Amy, and winces. Now he remembers the other reason had stayed in this bar. But after that spectactle...damn she couldn't be older then he was...was she younger? What was up with that tail? It was a little hot to be honest.... And those eyes, god those eyes...he knew she was beautiful. He found himself confounded with his previous dilemna. Should he talk to her? Was she even interested after that scene?
Adrian Erith looks over at Amy, then at Makoto, back over at Amy, around to an empty wall for a few seconds, and finally, with a breath, he approaches her. He isn't awkward as he walks toward her, neither is he sure of himself. His eyes glimmer with curiosity and modest infatuation. He's never done this before...but he's not afraid to give it a shot. He stands before her now, trying not to look too deeply into her eyes else he be distracted, as he racks his brain for something to say. Finally, he surrenders, simply and gently, "Hey."
Adrian Erith furrows his brow, smiles youthfully, he speaks softly and carefully, his eyes dance quietly, "I'm kinda new around here. Do you uh.." winces, unsure, "um...come here often?"
Adrian Erith sits next to her slowly, looking at her all the while. He takes a few moments, before shaking his head. What the hell man...try it. He begins slowly, "Look, I don't know how I'm supposed to do this," he laughs. He's never gotten a chance to be such a...teenager before, "but I guess I should tell you that I think you're absolutely beautiful. God, you're just..." laughs again, shaking his head, "sorry. I've never done this."
Adrian Erith reaches forward gently, attempting to take her hand in his own, the roughness of his hands are beaten but warm. With his right hand, he touches her cheek, bringing her eyes to his own. He smiles, looking into her fondly, as if it were a dream. He speaks in the hushest of whispers, "What's your name?"
Adrian Erith he edges closer to her, his eyes a dreamy trance. Suddenly, he forgets his name. He forgets the vampire and his victim whom he had tried to save. He forgets the girl named Tak and the bottle he almost used a weapon a few hours ago. He forgets that he is a wanderer. All this he forgets as her soft breath kisses his face, her deep eyes mesmerize him, and he contemplates this beautiful girl, adequately exemplified in one word..."Amy," he whispers.
Adrian Erith for a moment is lost. He wasn't sure what happens next...and had only his passion to guide him. In a slow, gradual movement, he attempts to kiss her, gently brushing his lips against her own. He hardly thinks as emotion takes over, and he acts soely on what feels right
Adrian Erith after a long while, he reluctantly seperates from her, their lips softly clicking as they part. He is breathing a bit heavy, completely buzzed. That was his first kiss. He wonders what should happen next. Passion told him to kiss her again, but he delayed, gently stroking her hair, looking for a reaction in her hazel eyes.
Adrian Erith smiles at her, hardly taking notice of Caitlin. It's only Amy, only Amy. The world as he knew it could be on the verge of exploding and he'd hardly lift an eyebrow away from her. He speaks softly, hardly able to move his mouth, her sweet taste lingering on his lips. "My name...my name is Adrian."
