Aedan Gregory's Story

The man pulled his hood over his face to try and hide the scars. He was a man on a mission and his partner would arrive soon. They'd been tipped off that the people they were searching for were around here somewhere, or had at least been here. He would find them and take them with him. He wasn't going to let them get away again.

Moving to a stool, he ordered a drink from the barman and asked the man about the people he was looking for. "A man and two kids, one a boy the other a girl. Young. His name is Sean but he's probably going under another name here."

"Dark hair... about 6'..." The man said. "It's the two kids I'm more interested in." The man said. "The man with them is dangerous. I'm hoping to get the kids to safety first, but I need to know more about their habits and actions first." He continued to the barman. "Are you sure they've been here?"

Aedan sighed as the barman said that a lot of people had fitted that description. That was no good. And he had never heard of a man named Sean either. Sighing he looked around. There were a few people here, but the real 'hit' were the two women. Sean liked to woo the ladies. Maybe these girls had something to give him.

"Hey there ladies. I just need a minute of your time. I'm trying to find a man around here. His name is Sean but he's probably using a different name now. He's about 6'. Blue eyes, dark hair. Has two young kids with him. Twins - a boy and a girl. It's urgent that you give me any information you can. The children are in danger." He slid over a few notes, hoping to encourage the women to give any information they may have.

"This kind of man." He spoke. "I've gotten word that he's here. He's dangerous. He's linked to some crimes, murder and kidnapping two of them. His brother is also linked to these crimes." He told them. "I don't want to scare you, but it's important that I find these children and get them back to their relatives." He spoke, hoping to portray the importance despite his lies.

"I can up the money I give for any information you may have." He added, putting another few bills on the table.

Aedan nodded at the information that Cassidy was giving him. It was a sly grin. These women were giving him all the information he wanted. Though, the one girl seemed to be questioning in her own head as to what the other was saying. Probably deciding that they shouldn't hand over the information straight away. It was too late though.

"Thanks. This means a lot to me, you telling me what you know." He added another couple of bills. "You're saving these kids lives telling me this information now. If you see any of them before I do, here's my number. Try and keep teh kids away from them and I'll be over when I can. Hopefully I'll catch them at the docks though."

With that, Aedan handed them both his contact card and finished the beer he'd ordered, getting ready to leave.

Aedan nodded. "Remember, anything big or small, call me." He reminded them before leaving the bar.

Aedan walked in the bar looking around before seeing Jack sitting there. This was perfect. He was setting brothers against brothers. Over the years he'd been hunting for Caleb's kids, it was only now that he was formulating a plan to set the brothers off against each other and hand the kids over. No one had seen the kids in a while, but he was going to find them if it was the last thing he did. He wanted those children - and his intentions were less than angelic for them.

Aedan Gregory also sat at the bar, staring at four photographs. He had been here a while and though a lot of women had seen both Damien and Caleb - and done a lot with either or both of them, the men hadn't shown up in the bar while he was there. It was simply starting to piss him off. A while back someone had mentioned seeing the twins, but again, they had disappeared too. Jake had no leads to his half-brother's whereabouts and things seemed to be getting out of hand. He was no closer to finding them it seemed despite the men having being at this very bar more than several times. Apparently both men had frequented here and lived in the hotel above. But there was still no sign.

"Are you sure you haven't seen any of these people. The children are in grave danger?" He asked another patron who shook their head before walking away with their drinks.

Aedan growled, slamming his fist on the table. This wasn't good at all.

Aedan Gregory turned to see who had mentioned children to him. Maybe they had seen them. The man was a lot smaller than his 6'5 frame. If anything, Aedan could seem rather intimidating with the horrible think lined scar that traveled down his left eye and his sometimes grumpy and rough looks. "Depends. Have you seen these kids or these adults?" He moved the photo over to the other man. "The two adults are the kid's father and uncle. The father doesn't acknowledge his kids, just focuses on sex with other women and getting them knocked up. Has 12 kids so far - from what I've been told around here. Both men frequent the bar and for a while the kids stayed with thier uncle..." He pointed to the photo of the uncle. "For a while all four were seen here and lived in the hotel above. They haven't been seen for a long time now and we're getting worried about what their father may have done."

It was a twisted lie, but Aedan would do anything to find these kids... Well, the stuff about Caleb was truth. His motives for the kids though... was left to be wondered.

Aedan tried to hold back a grin. He'd already twisted the twin's other younger uncle into hunting for them, maybe this is what he needed to do. Spread the story and get as many people as possible hunting for them. The more eyes and ears the more likely it would be of finding any of them. "I know one child is safe with his mother and two uncles. The other children. I have no idea. I haven't seen any of them. It's the twins I'm concerned about though because they're the only ones still with Caleb and Damien. It's like all four have just vanished off the planet. The twins mother was murdered a couple of years back. Caleb is wanted in relation to her death." That last part was a big fat lie, but no one needed to know that.

Aedan frowned as the bar was suddenly plunged into darkness. Now he couldn't get the photos of the children seen. They were the important thing. He needed them found. "They almost seven. They've been with these men since they were five, taken from their home after their mother's death." He sighed. "I'm so worried about them."

"Caleb and D have half brothers from their father's side. There history is long and boring. Their father wanted nothing to do with them and neither did their mother, it seemed. Anyway, the boys were put into a home and were adopted together but when the couple had their own children things went south. Anyway, fast forward to today and they have a whole family they don't know about. Caleb knows of his half brother, Killian who is looking after one of his children with the mother, but he doesn't know about the rest. They've learned about him though from Killian and have hired me to find them. I'll take them to their family once I've found them." One more lie to add to the bunch.

Aedan nodded. Unable to see the chaos, he was slightly worried at what was going on, but he figured that it was best to stay out of what wasn't his business. People butting into his business in the first place had gotten people killed. He didn't want to die.

"Exactly. I tell you what. You keep these photos. If you see them, my number is on the back. I have plenty of photos and so does the family. I do need everyone out there looking for them though. I want these kids back safe with their family. I dread to think what they're going through right now."

Aedan scrambled behind the bar at the sounds and everything suddenly got more intense. "Yes! I think we should. I can hardly hear myself think in here and I don't want to die today!" He yelled. "I'm Aedan, by the way."
