It was his grandmother who gave him the pendant, telling him it would "Bring the stars to the slums". His brother, Xavier, taught him how to survive in the city and the two of them rob small stores and wallets out of pockets so that their family can eat and remain healthy.
And this is where it kicks off.

So begins...

A young man entering his 20s dismounted from a black motorcycle.
Black hoody. Dark jeans. A black bandana gripped tight in his left hand. A Glock G42 hidden in his pocket, gripped even tighter by his right. It was abnormal for Aiden to rob a joint without his brother. This caused a higher level of anxiety than Aiden had anticipated, as he walked down the street trying to scout out the most suitable venue for his one man operation. It was just one block down when he heard the commotion coming from some high end clothing store.

This was good. The fortunate coincidence helped alleviate some of the stress Aiden was facing, so standing outside the store he tied the bandana around his face. From what he heard, there was a pretty heated dispute between two ladies, one that would cause the staff of a high end clothing store to become distracted. He entered, immediately walking past the abrasive trinity and up to the counter. When Aiden did this with his brother, Aiden would be the one to wait outside with the bike. Xavier would say some blood curdling, ferocious shit to intimidate the money of the register. But when Aiden drew out his pistol and opened his mouth, the words he spoke were not blood curdling and they did not sound ferocious.

"M-My family is sick," he stammered, "My grandmother is sick. I need what's in there." He gestured towards the register, and placed a small backpack on the desk. Despite Aiden's failure to be intimidating, his voice was genuine with intent. "Everything. Now."

Aiden waited for the staff member to get on with it, intending to bolt back to his motorcycle once the transaction was done.

She was in an aisle near the front of the clothing store, trying to find something comfortable to wear while she was here, on Terra. She was inspecting a rather nice sequin dress, while keeping one eye on the two ladies envelopes in a cat fight of some sort, and the rather suspicious man in the hoody and the bandana.

Her eyes followed his pistol as he drew it, but she kept concealed behind the sequin dress and some other effects, one hand on the dress while the other was clenched firmly around her standard issue Seburo M5.

His body language, his actions, all of them were hesitant and uncertain, the anxiety could be read like a book.

Her own weapon had cleared its holster, but remained concealed under the sequin dress, she was a Galaxy Police officer, after all but she was also woefully outside her jurisdiction, and the local government didn't take well to AXIS representatives.

She debated quickly in her mind whether or not to intervene, while noting possible exits and cover.

Her piercing blue eyes moved to the gun, her body armor could probably take a couple hits, but that only protected vital organs, as the thin easily concealed ballistic vest was only meant for small arms and light energy weapons.

Safeties off, she slowly moved around the clothing rack, out of sight, trying to get a better position.

Aiden looked around himself. Would this work? Could it? Paranoia struck him, as he realised how immensely strong his brother must be if he does this on a regular. Aiden would have to be like him. The lady behind the desk had finished piling money.

"It's all we have," she said, calmly, "Now please put the gun down."

Aiden didn't, keeping the gun locked onto her as he pulled the backpack over to him. There must of been around $800 in cash. He would count it later to be sure, but Aiden took relief in the fact that he might not have to do this again for a while. As genuinely as he could of said it, albeit with the gun still pointed at her, he said "Th-Thank you". The pendant underneath his hoody glowed.

Spinning around, Aiden shoved the gun in his pocket and hurled the bag onto his back. Then he began a sprint towards the exit, headed for the motorcycle parked two doors down the street.

She had positioned herself adequately, behind some racks near the exit, muscles tensed like a panther waiting to strike, she watched him take the backpack, and turn to make his exit.

He was in a sprint, and she lunged, it was a perfectly timed intercept, her body would likely collide with his with an unusual amount of force.

"Don't move! I'm a Police officer!" She shouted, trying to grab hold with her free hand, holstering her pistol and reaching out to get a better grasp, it was unusual, she seemed to be oddly stronger than a woman of her stature, she was fast too, able to see things a split second before they happened, it was an usual ability for her.

If the force of her tackle didn't send them both to the ground, she would try to grab hold of the hoody for dear life, fingers locked in the fabric in an effort to restrain him.

Should they both go to the ground, she would try to force the gun away, disarming him, while trying to wrestle the younger man prone to the ground.

All of this occurred in a split second.

Echo couldn't believe the words that this random person was saying. Her eyes went wide "How dare you! Who the fuck do you think you are!? You obviously don't know who I am! Names Echo Balmont and you just crossed the line" She yelled as a burst of Arcane Energy emitted from Echo, knocking a bunch of clothes from their shelves and blowing the racks away, as well as shattering some of the windows that were closer to her. The force would have been enough to knock down anyone standing near her as the air seemed to fill with Static Electricity.

Echo's long purple hair began flowing upward and her hat flew off the top of her head. The level of Echo's magic began to climb rapidly. "Let me tell you two things before I Obliterate you. First, you picked the wrong guy to try and pick up on. Second, I hope you like to swim" She chuckled and clapped her hands together. There was another pulse of energy from Echo before she retched forward and shot a blast of water like a fire hose from her mouth. Five thousand PSI was the force of the water that was blasted from her mouth, it was so strong it caused Echo to slide backwards a bit as the quick stream blasted.

The stream only lasted for one second and if it hit the woman, which given the proximity was more than likely, it would send her tumbling away. She might also have soaked Russian, and in worst case, sent him tumbling as well. This happened at the exact same time the Police officer tackled the guy robbing the store.

Russian could only wonder how the hell did this start in the first place...Some woman was purposely making Echo mad and now she looked even more pissed off. As soon as the blast of arcane magic went off he was knocked flat on his ass, and the static electricity in the air rubbed off on his fur which gave him a small jolt when he moved his hand to adjust his uniform. "Shocking...gotcha clothing..." He commented as he looked up to see Echo pretty much ready to rip someone's head off. His glance soon turned to the side when he noticed a robbery out of all things going on. Eh...not like he cared, just a plain old robber in a plain old robbery. What worried him more was his mage lover.

Thankfully she did not launch a massive fireball or massive explosion. Instead she shot water from her mouth. The force sent her sliding backwards, it also threw her aim a little off hitting him as well. "Oh sh---" Was all he could say as the water hit him as well sending him outside the broken window and soaking his fur clothing. He lay on his back as he spite water from his mouth. Well, he was no longer electrically charged...but now he was soaked to the core...

"Note to self...try to calm mage before her hat flies off...duly noted..." Russian muttered as he took off his uniform and pants before he attached a device to them sending them elsewhere. He was now dressed in more casual wear. White T-shirt and blue pants. Thankfully his uniform soaked all the water leaving this clothing dry.

"Well that makes things a more interesting..." Raven said as she stood up after getting knocked down by the water jet. A strange ripple went over her skin as the magic flowed over her and dispelled. Ravens form began to blurry as her shapeshift look faded revealing her true form silver hair, pale skin, and armor. " Truly I'm impressed... I really figured you just another of Russian's cheap whores."
A gun appeared in her hand "Unfortunately this means my tactics won't run you off... Really it's just Russian I want...but if you stand between me and him you will have to die too." Raven said as she leveled her gun at Russian.

As for the cop and robber she paid little heed figuring they where too busy to hinder her.

"Shit!"

The surprise ambush from the woman along with the noise from Echo's arcane outburst caught Aiden off guard, sending him to the ground along with the officer. He was furious, unable to believe that the random woman just happened to be police.

As the officer attempted to pull Aiden's gun from his pocket, his pendant was pulled out from underneath the hoody and continued to glow a bright white. "Get off me!" He cried.

Then the arcane disturbance continued, and Aiden saw the jet of water and one woman pointing a gun at the man in the shop. What the hell? he thought.

As the cop maintained her position on top of him, Aiden pleaded "I'm not with those guys, I'm just a nobody, you've gotta believe me." He grunted, trying to keep her hand from taking his gun. "I wasn't gonna hurt anyone, for reals. But she's gonna kill 'im." Aiden's eyes shifted to a cosmic black space. "Please." They shifted back. Aiden did not notice.

If the cop desired so, she would either have enough time to take Aiden's backpack or his gun before attending to the other situation.

Otherwise if the cop kept wrestling with him, she would definitely be able to retrieve his gun and handcuff/tie him if she carried such things out of uniform.

"Stop fighting me." She grunted in her accented voice, moving to force him onto his stomach; she would secure him there, and then immediately deal with the other commotion going on. That was her purpose, as a negotiator first and foremost.

It took a little more exertion, but with superior strength, and quick thinking, she would hopefully overpower the robber; pulling a set of binders from her back belt, and attempting to snap them around Aidan's wrists.

She pointed to the Shopkeep. "Call the local police."

Fortunately for Aidan, even though she was a Police Officer, she was not a local police officer, and she was way outside of her jurisdiction, so his arrest was little more than a citizen's arrest in legal terms.

But it was standard procedure for Galaxy Police officers to be capable of taking action in, or out of the uniform, so they carried their weapons and their binders.

"Don't move." She warned Aidan, before briefly turning to the fight across the store.

"Enough!" She called out, her voice amplifying and shaking the entire storefront.

"Stop fighting right now!" She ordered, pointing her hand out, and then opened her palm, her eyes flashed briefly and a shimmering barrier of light formed between Echo, Russian, and Raven.

She was still positioned close to Aidan, projecting her abilities out towards the fighting.

"Take it outside!" She demanded.

#, as written by Ornirus
Saffira noticed some sort of commotion coming from a nearby store, and curiosity getting the better of her she crossed the street and entered. This city sure is interesting she thought to herself as she leaned in the doorway, flashing a quick, innocent smile and wave to everyone in the room while her seemingly glowing purple eyes scanned every inch of the store, including the people in it.

"My, you lot are a lively bunch. Hope you don't mind my intrusion, this is way more interesting than that noisy crowd outside." Saffira said in a sweet voice.

She then moved her piercing gaze onto Haruko.

"You seem to have your hands full. Need help?" She offered.

As the angelic apparition entered the room and asked for assistance, Aiden ignored the cop's orders and made a run for the exit.

If no one got in his way, he would leave the shop and conceal himself in the street, working to get the binders off.

Echo gasped as she saw the gun being raised toward Russian. She knew that Russian probably had more guns pointed at him than he could count, and she was more than sure many of them were trigger happy. She was pretty sure Russian had a way out of the situation, then again, she wondered how many times a gun had been pulled on him after being knocked down by a fire hose. She felt bad for spraying Russian but it separated the two of them.

"I'm impressed too, it's not every day I see an ugly person's face melt away to reveal an uglier face." She laughed then furrowed her brow. She wondered if that was a witty enough One Liner to impress Russian. She cleared her throat and looked back at Raven right as the glimmering barrier appeared in front of her.

Echo was completely taken by surprise at the sudden Magic that came from nowhere. She turned around to see a woman on top of a young man being grinned at by someone ,who in Echo's professional magical opinion, really should not have been there. "Excuse me? I don't tell you how to do your job, which clearly you are doing well at the moment. So don't tell me how to do mine lady" She said to Haruko .

Echo looked back at Russian and Raven. It was Russian she was after and the sudden barrier was now troublesome. "Uhm, I would love to take it outside, but you've barriered me inside the building. " Echo sighed looking outside of the building where Russian and Raven now stood. For now she would leave it up to him. Hell, he wouldn't be the greatest Merc in the Galaxy if he didn't have ways out of situations like this one.

She hoped. ......

As Russian saw the gun aimed at him he shrugged. "Well shit, if you just wanted to kill me there are easier ways to do so than trying to bed me then jab a knife in my neck...or pull a gun on me at a fair distance away..." The man dusted himself off as suddenly his uniform appeared right back on him. All dry, and warm. Just the way he liked it because like hell he would fight in casual clothing. There has been no time this uniform has not seen combat. Soon enough however a barrier formed between them all from what appeared to be a magical officer. Lots of people with abilities this day huh? Regardless Russian cleared his throat before speaking. "Look lady, a nice high caliber sniper rifle would have been a lot more effective than that pea shooter in your hands. I mean hell, if you are out to kill me that means well...many things really. Revenge for me destroying something or killing someone, money because I got like...the biggest bounty out there...Actually thats why many people come after me. Anyways, I'm the universe's number one mercenary out there. And if you think a gun is enough to shoot me dead then go right ahead. Just be warned that I will pretty much kill you afterwards. Just a warning." He shrugged again as his rifle appeared on the ground and kicked it up into his hands. Of course he did not aim it. Yet... "Oh yeah, Echo. Gotta work on those one liners, maybe like. "Man, I thought you were ugly before but you proved me wrong..." or Perhaps one that I'm about to say: If you wanna test you luck then you better pray you made love to lady luck..." He gave a small smile and a chuckle as he winked at Echo.

Of course the commotion drew attention of the cities local Military Police courtesy of the Imperial Guard. Guardsman began to usher civilians away while some soldiers began to take cover around the store. Las-guns raised and armed. They had no idea what was going on of course however when you see a store with shattered windows and a bunch of people armed and ready to kill each other then chances are things were bad. If things went south they would fire against them to protect the city.

Haruko's eyes flashed briefly, she could sense Aidan trying to get up and make his escape, and she took no outward action to stop him.

However, the moment the robber's feet hit the sidewalk, the concrete under him lost it's form, liquefied to the consistency of water, enough to allow his feet to be submerged briefly in the concrete, and the moment it was, the concrete's form returned, effectively trapping his feet as if he had stood in wet cement that dried around them.

"That should slow him down." She said to herself, as she noted the Imperial Guardsmen starting to respond to the area.

That allowed her to bring her attention to Echo, and Russian, not particularly appreciating the insults being directed to her.

Her eyes flashed momentarily, and the barrier, which wasn't magical at all in nature, but something else dissipated.

"I'm not trying to tell you how to do your job, simply keep the peace." She said, turning back to the robber, and then back to Echo and Russian. There was an audible chime that also came from her wrist, checking a small watch like device, she frowned.

"I have work to do." She mumbled, and with her credentials held out, she stepped towards the entrance of the shop, holding her hands slightly up to show she was unarmed.

"Yes you do have quite the price on your head Russian" stated Raven "Enough to buy a whole planet some say...not that I'd want one but the money be nice."
Raven looked to the gathering crowd and sighed. " Unlike your girlfriend I have honor and will not do something that could bring harm to these innocencts."
Raven pulled out a flashbang "We will meet again Russian. " She said as she dropped the flashbang.

As the blast of light came she made a shift taking the form of an imperial guardsmen hoping the blast and new form would let her slip out unseen.

Aiden cried as he tried to pull his right foot from the dried cement. It didn't give, but it might soon. His hands in binders, Aiden looked up to see the faces of several bemused Imperial Guardsmen. Aiden's face became one of terror when he saw the raised guns.

He looked over to the undercover cop who he saw had revealed foreign credentials, and snidely remarked "I got a family to feed, miss. Who are you helping?"

The pendant continued to glow, as Aiden shouted out to the Guardsmen "Yo, these guys are usin' magic and shi-" The flashbang came into effect as the blinding whiteness obscured Aiden's vision and disorientated his head. When all was well, Aiden looked behind to see one in the shop had vanished. He spoke again to the cop. More genuine, this time around.

"All you Gods with your powers. Who do you think has to take the hit? Sure as hell ain't gonna be one of them."

Aiden finally ripped his foot from the pavement, standing still for the Guardsmen. He smirked, looking down at the mark it had made.

"You're payin' for that one, right?"
