Name: Akio Revela

Nicknames/Aliases: Doom of the Night, Terror of Legions, Survivor of the Blood Purge, Psycho-kid, God Slayer, One Who Smiles While Slaughtering, Leon Smith, Dakota Ranger, Pharma DeSarrella, Hibiki Tanaka, Simon Fisher

Age: Ten when turned into a vampire.

Personality: His version of vampirism is a very rare one, which causes the Vampire's personality to maintain mostly consistant at the time it turned more then others. Although he has still matured in some ways, his tendency to be childish can be seen clearly. That said, if one attempts to use that against them, they would find it is not as easy as it would seem.

Although he can be a bit silly and childish on the surface, he does have a serious side to him. Additionally, he seems to love to do weird experiments and find things out, and some might consider some of the things he researches unethical...but he uses criminals for his test subjects so its probably fine. Not normal ones either, but really bad criminals. Like, they commit crimes against children, or multiple people, or are just general scum.

History: Akio, who went by another name not listed in any records but is vaguely known about, lived in a small village out of the way of most things located in... (DATA CORRUPTED). There, he... (DATA CORRUPTED) ...but then one day, everything changed when... (DATA CORRUPTED). During the incident, he managed to escape but was found and kidnapped by a special breed of vampire, one more unusual then the rest. And so, while only being ten years old, Akio was used as food for such vampire that possessed unrealistic abilities in his eyes. However, mid way... (DATA CORRUPTED) ...and in all the chaos, Akio escaped again. As he was not killed by the Vampire who had been feeding on him, he ended up turning into a vampire from the leftover venom.

After that, Akio eventually managed to heal himself up back to full strength, and adopted a new name as he searched for a settlement. This was... (DATA CORRUPTED) ...and then... (DATA CORRUPTED) ...which resulted in... (DATA CORRUPTED). By the time the fires had gone out in that settlement, Akio knew he had to run and hide, and become stronger. However, he had now discovered how to use his abilities to some extent, and so he began training as he traveled to become stronger and stronger.

Additionally, because of... (DATA CORRUPTED) ...and with what happened with.... (DATA CORRUPTED)... , he realized just how dangerous things were getting and made sure to never raise a big fuss like last time. He tried to remain as silent and unknown as possible, still unaware of the truth until much later.

Across the decades that followed, Akio learned of many things, including... (DATA CORRUPED) ...and the reason why... (DATA CORRUPED). And so now, with his knowledge, experience, and powers, he pushed forward to make a new name for himself, and further expand his abilities, under the name Akio Revela, which supposedly is a name made from the letters of an old friend he once had.

Powers and Abilities:

Bloodmaster: Akio has full control not only his blood, but all blood within a certain radius around him. The exact distance of that radius has only been inconsistently measured, but his emotional state seems to be a factor.

Phase Walk: Akio is capable of phasing through whatever he chooses, though it is still unclear how he can make it differentiate between walls and floors.

Magic Attributes: Akio has high affinity with multiple Magic Attributes.

Enhanced Physical Abilities: Nuff Said.

Interface: For some unknown reason, Akio can interface with all technology using his brain, and can bring up a form of holographic projection only he can see. However, if he uses his magic, he can make it appear for others as well with a bit of focus.

Unaging: Ever since he came a vampire, he has stopped aging.

Shadowstep: An ability that lets him turn invisible, and silences himself to prevent any noise from being made. However, it is impossible for him to maintain this if he talks, as it silences even his breathing and heartbeats.

Equipment:

Wand (Staff) of the God Nightingale

Although its called a wand, that is because it was used by a God which likely made her appearance larger then normal people it is the size of a staff in Akio's hands. However, utilizing it requires the person to recognize it as a wand. Because Akio had picked it up and used it before anyone told him "It was a staff" as their misconception was, or before he knew the common sense differences between staffs and wands, he was able to (Accidentally) bring out a power that no one had been able to for ages.

The Wand of the God Nightingale boosts the abilities of those that hold it, particularly their stealth abilities. Additionally, one can use it to fly, much like a witch's broom. It amplifies magic used by the holder, and when a blood link is established, can be summoned forth at any time and utilized more effectively.

It is made of a black, glossy metal that boasts a high defense, as it once took a particle cannon shot that had been enchanted for extra damage, and was unscratched. It is questionable whether it can even be broken at all.

Book of Blood Summoning:

By applying blood into the book, Akio can summon a replica of whatever or whoever the blood he put into it at any time. It will maintain all their skills, abilities, and even equipment they had at the time the blood was taken. It may also be seen as a heretical artifact by some religious people.

Medallion:

Something precious to him, that he never leaves anywhere except on his body. It has been enchanted with more defense and protection spells then all the national banks of the Terra combined.

NOTES:

Akio has many connections to small businesses and so forth, nameless entities that are small and off radar, but he also has a notable servant force. Most are just maids and servants that look average and are easily missed, but he has three maids in particular that serve him. They had other names originally, but now they go by Ruby (The English One), Topaz (The French One), and Amethyst (The Japanese One). Notably, those were names they chose after the four of them had stopped through a market, and Akio mentioned in passing each one of those gemstones went well with them.

These three are special because over the centuries, Akio saved them from being raped and murdered. However, while he encountered many of these situations, he had found that these three for some reason had been given a fatal wound before being raped. As such, he sired them into vampires, and figured they would either serve him eternally, or commit suicide. Either or. For some reason, all three were also exceptionally beautiful. If Akio was even a bit more romantic, he might have fallen in love with one of them by now.

However, all three of them have fallen madly in love with him, to the point it might seem pushy or creepy. And no, this was not something instant after they were turned. Akio might be an exceptional vampire, and (probably) a decent person, with a great mind, but he still had the body of a child. No, their affection for Akio grew after seeing everything he could do and accomplish, and having stayed at his side even with that body for centuries, their adversity to being attracted to someone who looked like a ten year old boy was eroded away, and now not only have they been loyal to Akio from the start and grateful for what he did to them, but even developed feelings of wanting to be with him.

However, it is a totally one sided interest. Akio's inner romantic is deep asleep, if not dead. Though, he does get embarrassed.

So begins...

Midgra sat silently until he was called cute. He laughed and rolled his eyes. He knew he was pretty worse for wear as most living things goes, but he enjoyed the compliment. Usually he was being chased out of the venue at this point. His childs tuxedo he had found must have really done the trick.

"There is only one person allowed to call me cute, and that is your mother." He grinned and let out another almost forced laugh.

He was not fully comprehending how abrasive he or his sense of humor could be at times. As more people joined the group, he nodded along with the conversation but only half listening. Should he go with these people? He sure as hell didn't have anywhere else to go at the moment, and once this party was over he would be stranded here. Wouldn't be the first time, but this was almost perfect for his current situation. He looked up to Vance and back down to the little girl. "Em... It would be most benificial to me if I could. Besides... Being out 'On the road...'" He did a finger quotes motion with his deformed hands, to show he knew it wasn't literal. "is way more fun than being around stuffy suits like this, no?"

As the man in black appeared Midgra jumped, clearly still on edge for the food police to come and find something he was doing wrong. He eyed the man warily, his blind eye still remaining half closed as his ears pinned back slightly. He was ready to leave, now that his belly was full. While he may have only spent an hour or two here, the ordeal was much more successfull than he thought it would be. But, now he was in a group, he was willing to be polite and wait for the largest of the group to lead on, because the largest was always in charge... Right?

The black robed figure shifted his head to look down at the small pink haired girl as she suddenly burst into a babble of excited noise and chaos. His golden eyes blinked slowly as he listened to her, a cold look that shuttered for only a few brief moments of exposure and yet despite the seeming disinterest in them there was a slight sense of a predatory hunger the longer he looked at the girl, the look of a hunter when he stumbles across a great herd of grazing creatures. Though he listened to her chatter he made no attempt to answer any of it yet, simply politely listening until Vance once more spoke up.

As he blue haired boy talked once more he looked back over to the one he had given the invitation to this very ball to, as he did so the movement shifted a few locks of hair silver as the light of a summers moon drifted down from under the hem of his hood to waft lightly atop the upper ridges of his mask, though there were other lights around the room that should have warped the colour of his hair it seemed to defy it by remaining ridgedly silver and indeed now with the contrast against it it seemed almost, as if by some maddening design, that his mask alone was drawing in, draining the very light around him like a sinkhole, though it was only barely noticeable.

"What difference you make? Well just look at yourself, in the span of your coming from here to there you have already picked up one companion and am in the process of acquiring another. The ability to draw others to yourself is a powerful thing, and certainly one I very much look for in those I would seek to employ." Here he turned back to look at Boo, the look in his eyes know replaced with the sort of faint saintly kindness of some distant uncle who only graces the world once but every few years and travels to great and wonderful places of the world. "My name my dear? I'm afraid I found little use or need for one a long time ago, I have been called a great many names and titles that remembering my first is lost to me anyway. Now I simply allow people to know of me how ever they wish to know and name me. As for how I know our dear Vance here, I was the one who gave him the invitation that allowed you both to be present at this fine evening, at the very same place you two met in fact. And as for my cup? It is a goblet child, a very intricate form of cup indeed."

Here he did something very odd, his arm snaked back into the darkness beneath his robes, vanishing into the shadows like an eel lurking back into its rocky nest, goblet and all. And after barely even five seconds had passed his hand emerged once more, still clutching the goblet. Though this time, the goblet had drained entirely of the red wine that had sat within in its depths, indeed it was entirely bone dry as though no liquid had ever once touched it, there wasn't even a patch on the floor that could have indicated that the masked man had poured the wine onto the floor at his feet, it was as though the blood red liquid had simply vanished into nothingness. With a delicate twist of his wrist he offered the goblet down to the small girl, now that it was closer she would be able to see that what would have seemed like glass was in fact crystal, diamond to be specific, cut so carefully and so fine that the inside was perfectly smooth to both touch and the eye.

"If you are so interested by it, by all means take it for yourself, it is only a cup is it not? And more to the point only a small amount of the vast generosity I can provide to those around me of course."

"So, you wish to employ me... us?" Vance asked not completely certain of what type of employment he was thinking of."And what exactly do you wish to hire us to do?" He was intrigued by the the amount of wealth he must have in order to be giving away diamond goblets. "It's clear you know of the things I've done in my past, but I don't wish to go down that path again. Not when I have others with me. I won't put others in danger no matter the reward." He spoke. He wasn't sure that the Shadowy Figure wanted him to do any mercenary work, but he wanted to make it clear that he wasn't going to do it anymore.

Shimizu quietly offered a small, and brief bow to the one who greeted him, a boy of some kind. Never the less the Emperor maintained his composure, his gravitas at the situation and offered a small, almost humble reply.

"Thank you, Mr. Revela, I am honored to be here." Shimizu said offering a warm smile, before he turned his attention to the rest of the guests.

There didn't seem to be much going on, and Akio was the only one to really great the Taiyou man.

First one, then a second and then a third readily agreed to the contract that the strange masked man had proposed them. A pleased look shone in the golden orbs of his eyes as they flicked across each of the his three new employee, doubtless he would have been smiling widely as each of them were more than happy to agree to the terms of the contract, who wouldn't have after all agreed to such a ready and inviting deal?

The silver lettering on the silk in Vances hands shone a brilliant jade green for a brief moment after they had all agreed to the terms of the contract which gently ebbed away into a gentle glow of blue light that just about managed to light up the page it was written on in the rare moments of low light. Impossibly the singular piece of silk paper had somehow copied itself into three identical pieces, one for each of them to keep hold of, which their new found employer simply waved away as though it were the most insignificant thing to happen.

Rather than address Vance he instead turned his attention to Midgra, the fox had after all been the first to accept his offer, and held the box out to the small being.
"Exactly as promised, a gift of generosity, one enchanted Box of Plenty. Just don't get overzealous and try to put something other than food in there, it takes an awfully long time to make these and I would rather not have to go through that again any time soon." Relinquishing the box he turned back to Vance and gently plucked the card from him, turning it over in his gloved hand as his golden eyes appraised it silently. "Hmm, as you wish, that won't be too difficult." He flicked the card over once more and then produced a blank copy of the card with his other hand from somewhere in one of the many pockets on his person. His eyes traced across Vance's card and the details upon it were repeated on the version that he had been carrying with him as he traced his thumb across the surface of the card. With a tilt of his head he handed the original card back to the blue haired figure and then finally turned to address Boo.

"Well my dear I'm afraid locating me would be far harder than it would be for me to locate you, so I do need a location in which to deposit your payment however I can more than easily place your payment into gold coins if that is more suitable for you. As for when you start work, enjoy tonight, though I dare say the majority of the Ball has concluded itself for the best part. However the terms of your collective contracts are effective as of this moment so I do expect you to begin performing work as soon as possible. And of course, when you find someone you wish to recruit to my employment simply produce the contract, get their agreement and they too shall be subject to the terms of it, all very simply work I believe."

The masked man clapped his hands together once, like a joyful businessman after a particularly good deal and slowly looked around the remainder of the Ball in a casual manor. As his golden eyes made contact with a pair of regal brown eyes the warm and happy look melted away into something far closer to malicious hunger of some great and starving beast before they flicked back to the three before him, the warm look once more glowing within his enigmatic gaze. "Now, if there are no more queries about anything I will take my leave, I intend to speak to the hosts of this fine gala before the night ends."

Seeing that he survived meeting with the Emperor, managing not to offend him it seemed, being respectful, without doing anything submissive, Akio breathed a sigh of relief internally. The goal of this ball was to gain influence, but not to diminish themselves. He had to employ a lot of showy magic. He didn't mind this, showing off could be fun too, but it only barely fell into the magic he was best at...magic that was older then most.

As the Emperor returned his greeting before going off to greet the others, Akio decided to move throughout the crowds. Daemala seemed to be missing, or maybe she was handling the large amount of press that arrived, and Zos was nowhere to be seen either. Akio was apparently left to run things, despite a discussion earlier where Daemala said she would handle the meet and greets.

Eventually, Akio came across someone...unusual. A man...no, Akio knew he was something else. Akio had been alive long enough to know that much. He approached the man with the cloak, his vision isolated. He maintained the calm smile he had shown this whole time, and it looked entirely natural just like before. Akio had over one thousand years to perfect this, after all. And he overheard some of the things said.

"You wished to speak to one of us?"

Meanwhile....

CR smiled at the two werewolves, before getting shocked after eating a large amount of ice cream.

"Ahh! I forgot to introduce myself didn't I? My name is Crimson Reaper! It's nice to meet you!"

And so Crimson introduced himself as the literal son of the very concept of death, and the very concept of life. The ultimate oddball of Eldritch creatures...of course, it all depended on if they heard enough about all that, but it was not hidden. In fact, it was very public knowledge, because when two Eldritch beings, above gods and deities, with no real concept of time or age, get married and have a son, even if they exist outside of reality, somehow people still tend to notice.

However CR was not as observant, which was why if they had run away in the middle of his greeting, he might fail to notice until a few seconds after.

Meanwhile, Ivera was chatting with Ondona, at least for now provided she had not run off when he looked away for a moment to see the Taiyou emperor come in.

"Huh. It certainly is an interesting gathering of people. I must say, this is actually kind of fun...its nice".

Ivera was getting caught up in the emotion of going to his first party, that even the normally calm and collected him got a bit emotional. After all, this was one of the first times in his whole life he could finally enjoy himself.

"Ah, anyways. Its nice to meet you. I don't suppose you have any recommendations yet for what to eat or drink?"

"Recommendations?...Well I usually have my own special tastes like everyone here. I usually enjoy some tea with some biscuits, and I like to eat small finger food as people call them...I am not a picky eater, but I do make sure not to eat too much or else I might gain weight." Ondona replied with a small smile.

"Oh! I managed to get off topic my apologies. I would recommend the sandwiches, they are good, for drinks...they have many selection of juices and alcohol but I stick to tea."

The blue haired werewolf raised his left eyebrow as he watched CR devour the ice cream like it was the only food on the planet. Taking another puff of his pipe as he blew the smoke upwards again. "Its alright. Temp and I don't really like to stand on ceremony much. I guess I just have one question for you, If I shake your hand, will I die?" His tone of voice was very....bemused. Enjoying himself, although he looked uncomfortable in the suit he was wearing.

Temperance was just standing there silent, shy, and kinda nervous. Normally she wasn't like this at all. Waiting for someone, or something, to acknowledge her presence was a weird thing. She usually just kept to herself.

Midgra took the box, immediately putting in on the ground and opening it. He took two sandwich halves he had stuffed into his suit pocket and eagerly placed them into the first compartment. He only wished he could watch the box work. Even if the thing was one third his size, he made sure he would never, ever misplace such a fantastic device. Almost as an afterthought, perhaps reminded by his cohorts, he called after Scribe. "Can I please have my bars delivered to the Jargon Cellars? They are not too far from here." His eye however, remained fixated on the box. "Let us say on the left side of the cellar, bottom row, in the very back. If that would work?" He said, looking up from the box.

Midgra was ecstatic that he was now going to be rich. Or, at least much, much richer than broke. But on a more subconscious level, he was even happier to have a little direction is his entirely aimless existence. He might not know it on a conscious level, but that was going to be much more valuable to him than the bars could ever be. The fact that he had new friends, or rather co-workers was also a huge deal to him. He could, and had several times before been entirely on his own for months at a time, but preferred at least short bursts of socialization.

Vance decided to take the rest of the evening to enjoy himself like the other two. "Okay guys, we got the rest of the evening to have some fun so let's meet up at the end of the party and I'll show you to my ship, Midgra. I got a safe when we get there where we can put that box so it doesn't get stolen." Vance smiled.

He went off to get some more food and some more of the purple booze and see if he could find something entertaining to do.

Midgra nodded, still holding onto the box with both arms wrapped around it. This would mean a few more hours to kill, but Midgra was very good at that. He wouldn't let go of the box, but still found his way to the drink station and had a few more purple drinks and tried to hobknob with confused guests, with little success. As the party began to filter out, Midgra returned to the space in which they agreed to meet.

Despite having left a seemingly open question for his three new employees, the masked man seemed to no longer notice them, as one would a mote of dust, out of sight out of mind. And as a new figure began to approach them he turned on his heel sharply, black robes swirling around his lower form as he moved rapidly around, oddly enough it seemed as though he had turned before the being could even possibly make his presence known to the masked man, though surely that was impossible?

"You wished to speak to one of us?"

The hooded figure cocked his head forward in a strange half bow towards the far smaller being. No doubt if he were capable of displaying such an expression he would be giving a warm and friendly smile, though such a light did seem to playfully dance across his golden eyes as he looked down at the small parasitic creature. If he truly knew what he was speaking to he had no fear of it, or trepidation or even disgust, he seemed to look upon the smaller being with the sort of warm familiarity as a kindly uncle would a young child.

"Ah yes, how very kind of you to come to me rather than I having to locate yourselves. I came here tonight in fact with the sole purpose of locating your esteemed organisation, you see I would have a vested interest in becoming in some way a patron and associate of anyone or party who can arrange such a fine gala as this, especially with such fine hosts who... Well, let's say able to elicit such a particular display of abilities and talents."

As the activity of the ball died down, and guests began to depart one by one, Akio was faced with this being before him. He seemed to sense Akio before he spoke out, which might be odd given Akio's appearance. However, Akio himself had on purposefully used the powers bestowed to him as the wielder of the Wand of the Nightingale to increase his presence. Normally, it would be used to decrease or erase it entirely, as there was normally not much use on increasing it. But Akio could sense the...irregularities...of the being in front of him.

"Just a common curtesy, from one supernatural being to another".

Akio then reached out his hand to the side, and picked up a glass of some red liquid...it could be red wine, could be blood, and began to drink. Notably, there had been nothing there before, but Topaz showed up as he started to reach and offered it to him.

"It is a shame that the party seems to be dying down, not giving us much time to talk...but perhaps then, if it is for the best, we should meet again afterwards. After all, one should never rush these things".

And then, Akio handed him a business card. He had custom made them, and it had the Detente's name on them, a list of ways to contact them, and even an address. That last one might seem risky, but it was in the Cursed Wood. Anyone capable of effectively using that address to find them probably wouldn't need it at all, already had connections to that place, or was an exception to the norm.

"I do not think I got your name though. Mine is Akio Revela, it has been a pleasure to be your host this evening".

And as he spoke the words, the Chaos Ball began to come to a close.

Akio was the first one to enter, for a very drastic change, but that was probably because he was the one who called the meeting in the first place. He plopped himself on his bean bag chair, and then had the floor it was sitting on elevate to give him a better position. He was not sure how many would show up to his invitation, given how although he was likely older then most of them, he was new to the group itself.

However, they had an incredibly important topic to discuss. The defense treaty for Terra. Although Akio himself was not really enthusiastic about it, and he was very distrustful of mortals and to be fair anyone, he recognized the...uses...this treaty could have. Mainly, about how they could be seen more as equals, and solidify their own indepedence more. If they allowed this organization to go on with out them, to protect all of Terra which included themselves without them, then Akio could see it being used to say that they were lesser then them, that they needed protection, that they had nothing to contribute.

That sort of thinking and plotting could undo a lot of the work they did, such as during the Chaos Ball, and that was something Akio did not plan to allow, at least not without a fight.

"We absolutely cannot let this go on without some input ourselves. Yes, the Detente either has to be a part of this treaty...or, we must destroy it from becoming a force that will be recognized..."

Of course, Akio had no intention of limiting himself to one solution either. He believed there were only two choices for the Detente. To support it and become equals, or to destroy it entirely and prevent the risk from ever forming in the first place. The question was, what would the other members believe?

Louis Ancroft Vernon, The Prince of Montague's Gambit, arrived within the room wearing a sleek black Brioni suit with a red tie and accents to match his apparel and shoes. The vampiric lawyer simply dressed as was appropriate for someone of his station whilst looking with mild irritation at his peers who would arrive whilst keeping the majority of his ire in check as a cool indifference towards Akio Revela. Had his intentions not have been clear the last time he spoke to the majority within this room or did they simply forget or ignored the statement of wishing for this foolishness to end. Instead Mr. Vernon simply found his old seat and produced a few files to go over the legality of the situation before attempting to speak his ideals once more.

"I say we disband and allow the Masquerade to begin anew."

Louis finally spoke up regardless of whoever decided to listen. The obvious answer was to allow the entropy to take hold of what was present and begin again regardless of distractions or fears that the others might produce. The blood sucking lawyer simply brought his gaze around to each and every member who would be present only to collect his thoughts before speaking again.

"We are vampires, an undeniable truth, a majority of Terra and her inhabitants know of our existence only through the actions that we commit to here presently. I say we allow ourselves to fade from the public light and move to subtly change the directions of the political world around us......"

Louis paused for a moment to consider his next words only to take a needless breath and rise from his seat whilst resting his hands upon the table and leaning forward to look at his fellow councilors.

"Allow the Masquerade to come to fruition once more. Let humanity remember us only as a bedtime story to frighten their children into submission whilst we move among the shadows unseen and unhindered by the constraints of legal binding and pointless debate. I suggest that if we are to truly thrive we must consider how open we are to this world and public now and see how foolish it is to not expect any rogue with deathly intent to walk in here and attempt to kill us all."

Mr. Vernon simply frowned as he looked around only to then bring his cold attention over to Akio.

"Mr. Revela, forgive me, I have no intention of inciting a riot or creating an argument that would belittle your concerns of the current situation. In fact I pity and feel that this situation could have been remedied much sooner if my words had been listened to from the previous meeting. This is why I feel as strongly as I do about disbanding this sham and allowing things like ourselves to broadcast our intentions to the known public."

"He has a point," Daemala had arrived. She sidled into her usual spot, snapping her fingers, a freshly corked bottle of Blud brought to her. It was, after all, her drink.

"The mortals could give a damn, and this planet is hell in a hand basket. I think it a grand idea to fade from the spotlight-"

"But what of Verinotte Hollow?" Interrupted Zosimos, his eyes glittering. Daemala shot him an incredulous look. She opened her mouth to rip him a new one when she remembered her tavern, and instead bit her lip. Her tavern was like a child to her, the patrons exhaustive and the business ho-hum. The money, though, and having the front which she did...

"Ah, yes. We've created a haven for those like us and now we seek to abandon it. How very..." He flopped out a hand, "Consistent to the nature of what we are. We create, we destroy. We are as walking gods except we can still ourselves be destroyed. Tell me," Zosimos turned to Luis, "How would you see this castle haunted? How would you propose going underground, when the very nature of everything we've done has been to raise our status to equality-though facing the facts we were never truly able to be equal, were we?" He hissed this last sentence in Daemala's direction. She herself was a vampyric supremacist, though she tried her hardest to deny it in certain company.

"If we're speaking politics," He continued, looking now to Akio, "Fading from the spotlight as being what we are may not be in our best interests. The discovery of subterfuge is all too common in the modern day. No, we must be clever. "

Zosimos grinned, and Daemala shifted in her seat. She took a long drink from her glass and considered the options. For her, fading back into the shadows might be as easy as a change of hair. Not many, other than her staff, knew what she was despite the looming implications. Her mind began to churn.

"Wha'bou' the Hollow? I reckon we can't just be comin' up as our own, yer sayin. Disband th'wholatha govrment n' just what?'" Ulrich didn't say much, but when he did, he had good questions.

"I do not claim to know the answers."

Louis offered as he seemed to grow bored with this prattle. The vampiric lawyer simply stood his ground and crossed his arms only to look upon this foolish comity knowing that they had damned themselves the moment they all agreed to be public about their cursed lives.

"I just am simply pointing out that a Masquerade is in order. You allow our mortal kin to know about our locale and even weaknesses! You appoint yourselves as prideful gods who know little but claim so much. I simply believe we should step away from all of this. Return to our shadowy ways and step out from the spotlight before we risk our necks from the fanatical who have clearly been watching us prattle on like defenseless children."

He simply stood from his position and made his way out from this fop of a meeting. His words had been said and there was nothing else to add. He did however glance back to Daemala only to shake his head before taking his leave.

There was another who entered at around the same time, but made no real effort or inclination to be noticed. At least, not until he sat down at the bar counter, putting his backpack at his feet as he hoisted himself up onto the seat.

At first glance, one might mistake this being for a child. Well, for all purposes he did appear as a child, but if one was keen enough they might notice inconsistencies about his behavior, speech, and body language for this. And of course, there was also the fact that he was becoming fairly well known around these parts as well. That would be the Vampire Akio, who happened to be a scientist, researcher, and several other things. He was even a licensed doctor and surgeon, as he had picked up a few hobbies over the one thousand plus years he has been alive.

And although he showed no signs of hostility, there was one patron nearby who grimanced and avoided eyesight with Akio. That might have something to do with the fact that Akio "helped" him out when he got completely wasted though last time, and woke up the next day to discover he had two hearts and two livers thanks to a nice little note, and some tests later on.

That said, Akio was thinking he might need to get some more research materials, maybe hunt some rare ingredients in the future, but for now he would rest and...

"Hmmm?"

He smelled a most wonderful smell. When he turned to see its origin, it appeared to be coming from Daemala's direction, though to be exact it was the bottle she had just uncorked. That was another things Akio had become in his years as an immortal. A blood/wine enthusiast. That said, he noticed a bit of...something...between her and another, and so best decided to observe...for now.

If it got interesting, Akio might just not be able to help himself. Or if the pull of that 1694 overtook his curiosity.

At the vampire's shadowy greeting fingers too thin removed her cigarette freeing a faint umbral shift in upward curl on the tall woman's lips, "Flattery will get everywhere, Miss Tauvyr, except to my name. You'll have to get it from the willing like everyone else."

Under the brim of her hat if any eyes lie within the dark they restrained from existence, "It's called Thousand-faced wine. Madam requests her buyer takes care not to drink too much at one time. Ms. Photu otherwise sends her regards. Madam put the supplies left behind at the mansion to good use."

Ebbrabos laughed in the unhesitant menaced appreciation suited to a predator. One that had watched the ritual disposing of the former inhabitants, as asked. In a drag from her cigarette it wasn't clear if it loosed a faint human screaming or her wheezing lungs. Given very keen hearing it proved the former the surface twitching rather than eroding.

She loosed a cloud carrying sweet smells then a dangerously familiar hint of earth and bubbling fat, "May I come in?"

Daemala smiled, showing her teeth. Flattery did get her most places. It was nice to have a challenge, for a change. Her eyes glittered as the faint sound of screams reached her ears. Was that the cigarette?

"Thousand-Faced Wine, you say? Of course, welcome to Tauvyr Tavern."

Daemala stepped back, gesturing towards her bar, where she noticed someone waiting to be served. A child? After shooting another fanged grin at the strange woman, Daemala hurried herself behind the bar. It was then she noticed this guest was also preoccupied with the arrival of the Thousand-Faced Wine. She pulled down three glasses, set them on the bar, and waved the woman in the hat over.

"How about we try this Thousand-Faced wine, then?" Daemala snapped her fingers again, the waiter from before appearing with the uncorked bottle. He poured the three glasses half way to the brim.
