Aleksandra Varushka walked into the bar with a high collared coat and thick shades over the bridge of her nose. A magazine was rolled up in her hand with a most interesting article that featured her latest and most juicy rumor. There was a little curve around the edges of her soft lips that suggested an amused smile. Let them think what they wanted, Aleksandra knew the truth.

Without removing her coat or glasses, attempting to remain incognito for the moment, the super model moved to the juke box and pressed a few coins into the machine. A few moments later jazz poured into the room to give it a little life. Aleksandra stood there with that gentle smile and swayed from foot to foot slightly while singing along with the song. Today was going to be a good day for her.

Aleksandra Varushka finally left the jukebox and wandered around the large hole to sit at the bar counter, but not without throwing Shinzui a little wink with her right eye. She didn't want to press her company on the man due to their last few meetings yesterday morning. Sliding onto a stool, Aleksandra set down the magazine on the counter before removing her bulky coat. Today she was dressed in another of those fashionable cocktail dresses that all too well showed off her perfect body.

Setting the coat on the back of the stool, and setting down her large purse as well, the woman removed her glasses and tucked them away into a pocket. There was no need to hide in Gambit's and hopefully her little gang of paparazzi hadn't caught her trail. While Aleksandra could deal with them this morning, she wanted to be able to really read the details of this rumor spreading around.

Aleksandra Varushka settled a bit more comfortably into her stool and unrolled the tabloid magazine. Her face was planted all over the front of it, but it at least was one that did Miss Multiverse good justice. There was also a picture of Vegeshin on the cover, yet all they had captured was his back as he faced a smiling and peaceful looking Aleksandra. Amusing. It made her laugh softly. Oh dear, how to explain this too her good friend? Perhaps he had already seen what SolVogue had written. Yet, Vegeshin didn't seem the type for rumors.

As Aleksandra was opening the magazine to the center pages, a cat girl approaches her and the model's attention was captured. Beautiful caramel eyes landed on the perky girl and the Russian gave a friendly wave.

"Well hello to you too, little miss. How are you doing this morning?"

Aleksandra Varushka couldn't help but to look upon the young girl and smile brightly. Yes, her day was going to go well indeed with such a good start like this one. "Oh yes, that is me, and no, I didn't write it. There are several magazines with my picture on them. I am Aleksandra Verushka. Perhaps you've heard of me?"

The woman slid the magazine towards the cat-girl and allowed her to see it as well while that silly article blared with headlines about how Aleksandra had found a new lover. Oh if only they knew. She told them Vegeshin was merely a friend, but of course the tabloids never listened and warped interviews to their liking.

Aleksandra Varushka had caught the wave from Shinzui and returned it with a wave of her own fingers. The woman's eyes were then drawn down again to the vibrant cat-girl. "Oh no, not a movie star at all. I am a model that's quite well know around the world, little miss Boo. I like your name. I think it fits you rather well." Aleksandra's eyes then trailed to the twitching ears and held her breath. The woman was allergic to cats. Hopefully it wouldn't start to affect her too much though.

Aleksandra Varushka set her magazine back up on the counter after Boo's attention was moved to another topic; several different topics. The girl was amusing to Sabine easily. It made her mood so lighthearted and happy. Turning to Shinzui, Miss Multiverse gave him a true smile, very different than the ones he had seen previously.

"Hello again Mister Sinzui, I hope you are doing well, yes? Also, your friend there," Sabine said while pointing towards Datius," seems to be a little upset over something."

Aleksandra Varushka continued to smile and nodded her head. "I do have many name, Miss Boo. I allow friends to call me Sabine instead of Aleksandra. It bothers me slightly when they can't pronounce their R's correctly. I am Russian you see, we tend to have odd habits. Sabine is my middle name," she said kindly.

Turning to Shinzui, Sabine spoke soon again," And I never did thank you for helping me the other night, but well I ... as you know there were problems with that. Again, really Mister Shinzui, thank you for your assistance with removing the paparazzi. And have you seen this utterly ridiculous article SolVogue wrote about me? I am astounded and amused at the same time!"

Aleksandra Varushka blushed at what Shinzui suggested and shook her head. "Of course not! I did not so any such thing. That is—" But the man was already gone and off preforming for the girl. It put another dazzling smile on the model's lips. Of course that smiled died when Boo suggested to further the rumor about herself. Oh dear, things were just going to get more silly as that rumor continued on wouldn't it? Sabine just took it in stride and didn't let her bother her good mood. Though, Miss Multiverse couldn't help but to wonder how Vegeshin was going to take the tabloid.

Aleksandra Varushka watched the little girl curiously and shook her head at the question. "Oh no, I couldn't and I wouldn't even if I could. There are people always watching me and if I do something silly like that then I'll have more pictures of me in bad magazines," she said to Boo with a little wink. And yes, Aleksandra found Shinzui to be quite the show off. But it was good that he at least admitted to it instead of hiding it behind arrogance. There was no place in Sabine's life for someone that was arrogant and rude. She preferred people to be more humble and honest with themselves and others.

Aleksandra Varushka shook her head again with a soft laugh. Oh what a lovely morning indeed, she kept thinking to herself over and over again. There was only one thing that could have made it better than it was already. Though, of course, in the back of her mind Sabine wondered if it would last at all. Usually when one experienced a rather good moment it always came crashing down around their ears. The Russian silently prayed that today would not be the case and the happiness and joy would continue.

"Oh, Miss Boo, I wish I could explain it to you. A lot of people look up to me and expect me to be nothing but perfect. That's the way it has been for years for me. You'll understand one day, I hope," Sabine said while shrugging a thin shoulder at Shinzui.

"I don't know about all that, Mister Shinzui. Perhaps it is a little dangerous here, but the paparazzi won't always follow me here. They are scared for their lives too. Everyone knows this bar's reputation. And I believe that if it is my time to leave this world and rest ... then it merely is."

Aleksandra Varushka stood up and gathered her things quickly after remember that she had a rather important engagement to catch. "I am so sorry! I will see you two another time. I have a breakfast to catch with my agent."

Throwing her coat and glasses on, the renown Miss Multiverse left in a quick hurry.

There was an uproar directly outside of Gambit's Bar as a black vehicle pulled up into the parking lot. They had been trailing the sedan through the whole city. Cameras flashed as a long and silken leg slide out from behind a car door, and the lights grew even more furious when Miss Multiverse stepped forth. That beautiful and charming smile was displayed for the notorious group of paparazzi.

It took her two minutes just to navigate through the throng of people asking her about the latest tabloid scandal and rumor. The woman took it in great stride and said nothing. They would just twist her words however they pleased. It was amusing in a way but still touching on nerves. Aleksandra didn't want Vegeshin to believe that article, or that she wanted what the article entailed.

The world renown Russian model finally managed to step into Gambit's. The paparazzi stood around the door but did not dare to enter. Last time they had swarmed her in the building they had been ... dealt with aggressively. Strings of curses flew from several mouths behind the door as Aleksandra hung her luxurious coat on a rack and made way for the bar counter. Gambit's even if a horrible place was one that the woman could find peace in.

Aleksandra Varushka slid herself into a stool and crossed her legs at the ankles as would any proper woman. She displayed herself well, the woman did. There was much etiquette and grandeur about Aleksandra yet it was still subtle and modest. There was a difference between being walking art and a fool. Aleksandra was no fool. Running her hand down a thigh to make sure that the hem of her cocktail dress did not rise beyond a far too revealing level, she leaned in slightly with an elbow on the counter to view the menu.

Her gentle hand gracefully touched upon the holographic and technological feat of the monitor while attending to her thoughts. Shinzui was not here, that adorable kitsune Boo wasn't here, Vegeshin ... a little frown touched on her lips for the want of a friend to be near, yet at the same time it was comforting to be alone. No one pointed her out, or called out her name in surprise and aw. Aleksandra was allowed to rest from the masses of fans.

And then a picture came to mind. One of a young man sitting on a window seal staring out into an ocean. The lighting had touched him so perfectly. There was much emotion in the photograph and it had touched Aleksandra's heart. Utterly beautiful. The woman gave a little dusky laugh to herself and ordered a simple apple martini to start her evening out.

A man was spotted in the thick crowd of patrons who traversed with skill. Those caramel eyes which held far too much kindness and forgiveness watched over the rim of a wide martini glass. Lid fell heavily in thought and one could easily mistaken the woman's stare for something very much so seductive. That was Aleksandra's natural charm however and hardly ever did it go noticed unless it was forced for some viewing or photograph shoot.

As he came closer and closer, Miss Multiverse smiled. The man in the gray coat looked as if he could use a bit of company and likewise for herself as well. Aleksandra never did mind meeting people. She loved to make new acquaintances and speak to people about their lives. There was no greater joy for the Russian woman than to hear what others had experienced through out their lives.

A delicate hand was raise as the other removed the martini glass from her lips and set it down on the counter—upon a white coaster of course. Lithe and thin fingers waved at the man in the gray coat in invitation to join her. Just as rose colored lips parted to support the offer, a man had sat down next to her and greeted her. A glance was given to the Greeting Man and to the Gray Coat man, though the latter was a bit apologetic.

"Hello there," Aleksandra simple stated before moving her eyes back to the first man she had seen.

"Aleskandra Varushka, Mister Traith," the woman said in an alluring voice. She had been taught over and over again how to speak to a man by her mother who was quite adamant on the vision that all women should be subtle seducers. It was habit, not practice that Aleksandra acted as such. Her mother had been very persuasive when it came to lessons of that nature. Threatening Aleksandra to take away her painting set was the most horrible punishment that the child could ever endure. Only once had it ever happened.

"Please, sir, have a seat. I could use a good bit of company and it seemed as if you could as well. Unless that is you are awaiting some company," Aleksandra hinted at in question hoping that it was not true. She could entertain crowds easily but a single interaction with a person was by far more appealing at the moment. It was even more appealing when the man, Traith, didn't know who she was. Gambit's was an odd place indeed for not knowing her name or her face, but that is why Aleksandra adored it despite the danger presented each and every day.

But who could resist giving the Russian beauty company? Everything about her spoke beauty and those entrancing eyes only told those that looked into their depths that she was nothing but kind and honest and a rare jewel in personality. After all, an entire world had fallen in love with the woman because of that smile and her eyes; those soulful and soft caramel colored eyes.

Aleksandra Varushka laughed that sultry and dusky laugh at the man's comment. It was always flattering to receive compliments even if as simple as the one had been. Implied yet still outspoken as if it were nothing but the truth. Aleksandra did not believe it to be entirely true, but it still touched upon the vanity that women of her stature had even if hers was quite smaller in size.

"You flatter me and I apologize for the formality. I blame my up bringing but it is nothing but an excuse to continue my behavior, naturally," Aleksandra said before gesturing to the almost full class of Apple Martini. "And I am still drinking my martini, but thank you for the offer ... Traith." Such a curious name. It led to questions of where he had come from or where the man originated from. So much history to be curious about with just the telling of a name.

"And I believe we are in the same predicament. I do not know many others here either but I do try. There are several in the city that know just about everything concerning me. Though I can hardly say that all are true. Ridiculous rumors about me fly all over tabloids periodically," the woman said with a little amusement in her tone. Let the masses have what they wished. The only thing that mattered to Aleksandra was that she knew the truth behind all the lies and twists of situations by the media. They could have their fantasies while the woman continued to live in reality.

"Someone like yourself," Aleksandra asked with raised brows in surprise. Whatever had he meant with a comment like that. Did Traith really believe just because of her stature that she wouldn't entertain a person with more humble tastes to their attire or even their lives? Utterly preposterous. "Forgive me, Traith, but I don't really care for the looks of others. What I am interested in is what lies behind those looks. I want to know the person. I would stop on the street and have a conversation with a prostitute if I thought I would have a lovely conversation with her, and I have. Oh, the rumors of that little encounter. It took almost a year to get away from that scandal," she said with a little laugh. It had been a grand one indeed.

That gentle hand rose again and lifted the delicate glass which held her martini to her lips. The sip was dainty and carefully controlled. One must savor their alcohol and not squander such a pleasure. But that thought was a little contradictory and hypocritical. Had she not just the night before stayed in this very seat and drank glass after glass of wine? Aleksandra wanted to believe it was justified and thus did not count. The truth of it though was that it did. One shouldn't drown their sorrows but resolve them.

"And to comment further, I rather like being alone. It's hard to have time to yourself when everyone is scrambling to have your attention. I am honestly rather glad that you have no idea who I am because I'm scared that you would act just like them, Mister Traith." Her eyes dropped from the man and Aleksandra took one last tender sip before setting the wide-brimmed glass down again. A thought whirled around in her head but she pressed it away to investigate later. When Aleksandra looked up to Traith, nothing but that charming smile was awarded to him.

"A full understanding. Hm," Aleksandra said with a very amused smile. Did he not look up in the sky and see the floating billboards that had nothing but her face plastered over them. Did Traith not pass by the newstands to see her distraught over the horrible divorce suffered only months ago? Perhaps he did not pay attention to the colorful magazines displayed at every vendor. "To be blunt and honest of my person, I am the current Miss Multiverse, a highly revered model on Terra," the woman finished with a little resentment in the statement. She didn't like throwing around her title, but it was for educational purposes this evening. Why could she not have been a famous artist instead of being the art?

It was when Aleksandra lifted her gaze from the glass between her fingers to Traith's own gaze that she found herself a little captivated and even awed. It wasn't that she noticed the slight differences, but it was what possibly laid behind those eyes. There was always a mystery to unravel in a person. Aleksandra felt the calling to delve into a person's soul to figure out what untold stories they held in secret. It was not that she had to know, but her curiosity drove her. To learn about a person, to know them and know them fully ... well, it was an honor and something to be ambitious towards. The smile that always played around the edges of her own eyes spread just a little further and reflected the one upon her lips.

"But enough about me, Trait. I want to know about you. Who you are, what you do, where you've been and where you are going. Indulge a silly and simple woman," Aleksandra asked before kissing the salt laced around her martini and took yet again another drink while keeping those heart melting eyes upon Traith.

"That's very interesting Mister Traith," she commented while pulling out a fashionable and to-date cellular phone. A message blinked on the small screen and she sighed. "I am sorry but I have matters to attend to which apparently are quite dire according to my publicist. Again, I am so sorry, Traith. I ... " Aleksandra said with a pause for thought, " I hope to see you again. I really enjoyed your company and I am definitely not finished with learning about you."

And with a quick gathering of her things, the woman gave him one last charming smile and a wink of a beautiful and artist eye before leaving the room.

Entering the bar the woman was immediately stunned to see colorful lights, a disco ball, and room for ... skating? And what on Terra was that music. It was so, invigorating and lively. The World renown super model hung up her coat with a surprised and amused smile on her face. Gambit's Bar had gone from dull to colorful.

Walking around the edges of the roller rink, the dancing panels lighting up beneath her, Aleksandra made her way to rent a pair of old skates. It took her a little while to actually lace them up her delicate ankles. The woman wasn't used to laces period. Most of her shoes were heels. Standing up, Aleksandra felt accomplished to have kept her balance. It was when she tried to move that she almost fell. Good thing there was a chair to cling onto so that Aleksandra didn't fall.

A single Russian curse flew from her mouth, but she laughed soon after. This was surely going to be a learning experience.

There were a few more attempts made to stand on her own but each time Aleksandra would end up clinging onto the chair again for dear life. It would just be far too embarrassing to fall down. She was a model of perfection after all, but Miss Multiverse was going to have fun for once in her life. She was in the mood to explore and experience something she had never before. Aleksandra was going to conquer these skates if it was the last thing she did tonight.

Then her attention was caught by a man who seemed well adept with roller skates. A smile spread along her lips and a little hint of jealousy shined in those warm caramel colored eyes. Aleksandra bit down on her lower lip for a moment while looking down at her skates a bit shy. How embarrassing that she had been caught struggling by a rather handsome man.

"Yes," Aleksandra said before looking back up to him with that unintentionally sultry stare, "I would like that if you would. It seems that I am having some difficulties. I'm Alek—" Her introduction was interrupted quickly as she let go of the chair to offer a hand to the man. Aleksandra was losing her balance and would fall if no assistance was given—heading straight for her would-be teacher in a collision.

The music had stopped but Miss Multiverse's stare wasn't drawn to what could have caused the interruption, she was more focused on her embarrassment at almost falling. Luckily Kyle Summers had been there to catch her. The woman was frail in his arms and much smaller than the toned man. Most likely it felt as if she was going to break if Kyle held her too firmly. "I am so sorry, please, I didn't mean to—I, oh how embarrassing. Really, I am so sorry Mister Summers," she stammered in return. Aleksandra turned her gaze away because she could feel the heat in her cheeks from the blush that coated them now. How lovely. The Russian model cursed her clumsiness silently.

It was then that she noticed Marlene Angel approach her and Kyle. All Aleksandra could think of right then was that more rumors about her love life would spread in the tabloids. Had there been a flash of a camera in the room? That paranoia was setting in again. Aleksandra pushed it to the back of her mind though. Now wasn't the time to think on such things. She was here to have some fun and relax.

"Hello, Miss. It seems that the bar—Gamit's had a little renovation," Aleksandra commented while attempting to stand back up on her own two feet. She was successful for about three seconds before having to cling to Kyle again. "How do you stand on these things, Mister Summers?" The Russian beauty laughed and looked back up to him beneath those long lashes. It seemed that she didn't hear him speak of his admiration of her, but Aleksandra noted it of course. She did love to meet the fans after all, and it didn't hurt that this one was a little more handsome than most.

The woman felt a little insulted at the comment about her wearing too much makeup. She wasn't wearing any makeup. It irked her that a woman could just comment on another's so rudely and blatantly. Marlene reminded Aleksandra of all those other models that she worked with on a monthly basis. Miss Multiverse always felt as if their kindness towards her was false and they secretly wished very bad things to happen to her.

Aleksandra smiled and mouthed the words 'Thank you' after Kyle reassured her of her looks. Even if the Russian model was humble there was still vanity in small doses. Arms draped around Kyle's neck and again Aleksandra looked down at the skates on her feet. She really hoped to not break an ankle by the time the night was over.

"Please, I ... please don't fight. Why not just enjoy the light atmosphere of the bar with its new decoration," Aleksandra pleaded while looking between the two people. Miss Multiverse gave a little hopeful smile desperately wishing they would listen and leave tonight to be a peaceful one. Besides, she really wanted to learn how to skate!

Being as Kyle and Marlene seemed to know each other, Aleksandra felt a little uncomfortable around them. They were going back and forth as if they had been lovers once upon a time. Oh dear. It made her wonder where the confrontation was going to go. Would it end in a fight despite her plea for them to not? Then came the man who attempted to have Marlene hold some sort of stick-thing. Odd. Aleksandra found herself wondering what it was before she looked up to Marlene to answer her questions.

However, Kyle had then whisked her away out onto the rink and Aleksandra just clung tighter to him. Her eyes closed tightly and pursed her lips. They were going to fall, Aleksandra just knew it. They were going to fall and it was going to be all her fault. However, the seconds ticked by and nothing had happened yet. One eye opened slowly and then the other followed suit until Aleksandra looked up at Kyle. It seemed as if Miss Multiverse was surprised that he could support them both. How wonderful. The woman was utterly delighted.

"You know Mister Summers, I can swear I've seen you around somewhere before. Any particular reason why that is," Aleksandra asked with a little smile. Her glide across the room—even if assisted—wavered and she gave a little cry before pulling herself closer to Kyle. Lighthearted laughter spilled forth from between rose lips and Aleksandra shook her head.

"Sorry. I am so terrible at this. Its ... my first time."

A memory hit the woman as soon as she entered the bar. Teeth captured a rose colored bottom lip though it didn't stop the smile that formed so easily. Eyes cast downwards, veiled heavily by thick lashes. It was a pleasant memory; one that Sabine could count on to always cheer and brighten her mood. A coat was hung on the rank near the exit while she just laughed that seductive and dusky laugh. The coat slid from the hook however and dumped on the floor as Sabine turned away. She had not a care that the expensive piece of clothing laid on the dirty floor of Gambit's. The woman was highly distracted.

Lithe fingers ran through her platinum blond strands absently as she walked to the bar counter. Well, Sabine's movements were more so a little dance by the sway of her hips and the shuffle of her feet. There was something putting her in that terrific mood and those that Miss Multiverse passed found themselves wondering would it could have been.

He had held her so gently while she had been attempting to learn how to hold herself upright. He had been so gentle with Sabine. There was nothing but kindness in that man's eyes—though in no way comparable to Vegeshin's, yet still wondrous all the same.

The memory continued to play throughout her mind and Sabine hummed a little tune after ordering a salted-martini with two olives. The smile she had given the bartender was heart-stopping beautiful. He may have very well discontinued breathing for a few seconds. Sabine knew that she could have this effect on men and threw him a little wink before kissing the salted rim of that glass to take in the savory flavor of her chosen drink.
