Alexander (Alex) walked along an alley next to Hagan Avenue, only partially drunk. Which, granted, was not good for someone his age, but better. His father was dead, his mother had recently died, and things had just been absolute shit.

He walked down the street when he was approached from someone from behind. He turned around, only to meet a blade in his chest. "You should be more careful who you deal with. I hope one day you understand why this had to be. If you live, that is, which you won't". He proceeded to walk away, keeping his face and head covered, swiftly and surely before someone found him, as Alexander died in that alley.

Alexander (Alex) heard the splashing. Was it in his blood, or some water nearby? It didn't matter. He noticed something to his side. His mother's locket. It held a picture of her, and a picture of his father. That's when he saw someone approach him. He could see his face, but barely. He thought he was hallucinating, because this man looked like his dad. "Wait....dad?" he questioned, barely, but he was weak, and dying. If he was to be saved, then someone would have to work quickly, maybe even immediately.

"Hel....lo?" he gasped, with possibly his last words.

Alexander (Alex) gasped as he felt life....or something like it.....seep in. He could see some sort of man in front of him, but his vision had blurred momentairily. Unknown if this was permenant, he blurted out "Caucasian, Blue Eyes, Deep Voice, smelled like shit...litterally..." He had said all the details he had seen. Some of those details were actually useful. The only detail that did not help was the part where he said the attacker smelled like shit, because a good ammount of people smell like that, though it might imply he traveled throughout the sewers.

When he realized he wasn't dying, and this wasn't some burst of adrenaline, he asked "What...what happened....whats going on?"

Alexander (Alex) attempted to grab the locket, and was successful, also triggering a trigger in it that played music. The locket itself was gold and beautiful, and remained open with both pictures of his father, who looked exactly like Casren as if they are the same person, and his mother.

He began feeling tired, and found himself too tired to speak. He felt strange. As if some sort of transformation was taking hold of him. He felt himself becoming...different. He felt different.

Alexander (Alex) was forced to the castle by armed guards. Granted, he wasn't exactly resisting, but the guards were not nice either. They had placed a black bag over his head, for one reason or another, and he made his way to the castle. They then stopped him, and hit him in the back, forcing him down. They then yelled "We have a new one!"

Alexander (Alex) had the hood removed, coming face to face with his father. A gift from his mother was a very good memory. He was slightly different. His hair was a bit longer. And he clearly had been through some sort of fight recently, probably when he was brought here. He looked into Casren's eyes. "Long time no see".

Alexander (Alex) looked around the room he was in. It was certainly better then some places he had stayed. He looked around the room, and walked around, waiting around. Just doing whatever. He looked at his watch. He didn't need any noise, any door to open. He simply said "So, I guess your wondering what I am doing here".

Alexander (Alex) went over to the window. He looked outside, as if he was looking at a storm. "There is a storm coming. Not a literal one, but something worse. People think there is peace now, they think everything is done. But it isn't. He looked at Casren now. "Chaos spreads. War leads to war. Lets face it, this isn't over. But, I suppose you don't believe thats the only reason I am here. Wouldn't blame you, since it isn't..."

Alexander (Alex) looked around, and at the curtain. "I don't think it deserved that. And before you ask, I am not the only one who knows. Someone is slipping information. Or whatever they can. Either way, there will be something you want to hear..."

He went over to Casren, and whispered to him "I saw him again. He is still alive. That killer all those years ago.....he was not human. It is the only explanation. I thought you might want to know that as well..."

Alexander (Alex) kept close to Casren. He then told him "We need to settle things quickly. My arrival here will be known soon enough by the people here, and elsewhere. There are things at work, and if we do not be careful, things will get worse. Between recent events, and now this, I can not help but think someone is playing us all. Whether it be someone physical, or fate itself, it is clear something is up".

"Now, what did I miss? What do I need to know? What is going on? We do not have the time we would like. The time is drawing closer and closer. And I am sure you have much things to tell me".

The Room of Reason served it's purpose, now more than ever. The Vankoryth Detente had swollen, holding record membership and impressive power among it's ranks. Families flocked from far and wide to pledge their alligience to this powerful group. Dieties had even turned their attention to the brethren of vampyrkind, wishing for support, blotting the sun with clouds so the night walkers could stride at day. Here, in the archaic stone Castle Vankoryth nestled deep within the Cursed Wood, undead powers presently sat themselves around a table carved for truth.

Brethren, Blood, fellow Creatures of the Night,

Casren Bistreo addressed the assembly, bowing to his elders and nodding to those below him. Most members of the Vankoryth Detente were present, the Room of Reason being large enough to accomidate all. Many were armed despite the safety of the room; this unsettled few.
The Vankoryth were not foolish.

All of you know of The Blood Edict,
All of you know of The Humanity Clause,

The Detente had since doubled, Casren noted in his mind.

There is more to be known, settle quickly ladies and gentlethings.
Now is the time to address the issues that have come to rise.

He looked to those with enemies, bad blood, and vengeance in their eyes.

Too many Vampires run unchecked in our domain,
Too many disgrace the name of the Night,
Families broken, kin run rampant.
By the Blood Edict, this unruly nonsense must come to an end.
These Vampires must be quelled in their path to disgrace.

Casren then turned to face the warriors of the group.

Our army grows, our army dwindles, seeming to stay at stagnant size.
While their armour is strong, their spirit is weak.
Where their moves are superior, their mana is lacking.
Do you have motions to fix this, or has the army no more interest in asserting it's athourity?

Casren next addressed everyone, regathering the attention of the room,

Those of us who fare fine on blood,
Do you ever suffer agonizing thirst?
Those of us require heartier meals.
Do you find your gut aching in hunger?
Our current alliances provide us with a steady influx of sustenance, however if any measures could be taken to quell any cravings, please speak your piece.

He gave a slight bow before addressing the next lot of Lords and Royalty that had happened among them. Many influential families placed themselves in the trust of the Detente, which was a pleasurefor everyone.

Your Highnesses, Lordships, Ladies, and Lovelies,

Finally, Casren allowed a smile to slip through.
Families of old and new.
Are you thus far satisfied with the level of security associating with the Vankoryth Detente insures?
How are your lands, Is the Domain hospitable enough?

Looking finally to the oddballs, the outcasts, and the non-vampiric, Casren addressed the beloved remainer of the Detente.

Are you comfortable?
Are you equal?
Is there anything specific to your cause that has not been addressed as of yet?

He elevated his voice, with a closing statement.

All who wish to present an issue are encouraged to do so, by Nyarlathotep.
As many may have noticed, the sun does not shine through the clouds in the day, enough to harm us in our domain. Our nights are clear, our moons our bright, the darkness is on our side. If you have heard of The Crawling Chaos, keep hearing.

Casren nodded solumnly, taking his seat at the round table. He looked from his kin to his brethren, waiting for someone to speak.

As the new militant Vampire entered, a smile swept across Casren's face.

"Indeed, there appears to have been a mistake," Casren said to Kenshin Hio. He gestured to the rest of the room, after offering the newcomer a polite bow of the head. This was, after all, the first large meeting this century. Many of these vampires may have never met, and still many may be old acquiaintances. Kenshin, as of now, was a new face.

"Another from the East," Manik Chakur came to grin, "With the answer to my question." He looked to Casren, wondering if this was orchestrated.

"Ah, yes. The armies and the unsatisfied. Kenshin, have you come across much opposition in your travels? "

"I have," chimed Manik, finding his voice easier with another Easterner present. Reisel's nostril's flared, and Daemala came whirling back into the room. Opposition? Who would dare turn them down. Daemala thought back to the dawn of the Blood Edict, how they had decapitad and scalped Edward Cullen. It was a warning to all Vampires, but also a hand extended. The Humanity Clause had also sparked alliances, and was most to blame for the current health of the Detente.

Louis stepped into the room only to look around at everyone present and shake his head just to then leave.

"These Vampires must be quelled in their path to disgrace." Daemala quoted her Sire, before turning on her heel and leaving after Louis. As she left, the vampiress muttered something about a Magnum Opus, a storm in her step. Casren watched her go, then turned to face everyone.

"They must be quelled, but not before offered alligience. " Casren looked slowly to everyone as he spoke, everyone except for Alexander. "Why snuff the fire that can be tamed?"

"And if we get burned?" There was malice in his voice, but it was an honest concern. Casren turned to Manik, but Reisel responded first.

"We would burn for the sake of the Night," The stone gaze of Reisel never left Manik's face. "What is but a bruise in war?"

"And if we fail?" Manik spit back, aging noticeably, veins bulging.

"I fail to see how!" Reisel began to grow too, grow hair and muscle. His nails defined and sharpened inside closed fists.

Casren slammed his fist into the table, sending a wave of suppressive energy towards both Manik and Reisel. Casren did not care whether the vampires took offense to his actions over them, he would not watch them destroy eachother over peace. With a controlled breath, the elder vampire turned his gaze to Kenshin, and released the energy.
The question of opposition still stood.

Alexander meanwhile stood in the back, watching and observing. He knew his arrival would have been noticed, even if he said nothing here. At the same time, he found himself being careful about what he said. He looked at his father, then back at the others, unable to help thinking about the man again. The one who killed him. Not Casren, not his father, but the one who stabbed him. He had seen him only days again before coming here, hundreads of years later after he died. Why was Alexander killed? If he stayed alive all this time, it could not have been by coincidence. Alexander then connected the dots. Between what Casren was talking about, and what happened to him long ago, then for him to appear in the Domain of the Vankoryth Detente.... This was connected. Whatever The Detente wanted, it had something to do with what attacked him. But what was it?

Asked Casren of all aside the obvious, "Men, Monsters, or Dogs?"

Alexander (Alex) was sort of just there, on the steps, as if he came out of nowhere. He wondered how many people had either learned, remember, or were told of that he was here. Eh, a matter for another time. "So, do I even WANT to know who is driving, and what on earth made him decide to use that horn..." he noted, then adding "Or is it a her?"

He could practically smell the bodies already however. He was getting a bit hungry, and he would need his energy for what is ahead.

Alexander (Alex) looked at Casren with some confusement. He found himself asking exactly what he was thinking. "A frame?"

Alex immediately thought it was probably payment, but unless the frame was really expensive, it would need a picture in it. Unless he planned to frame the driver, but he doubted this. Also he wasn't sure if Casren knew how to torture people with a frame, provided it was large enough. "Well, if he is nervous, I could always persuade him to be a bit more timely..."

While the transaction happened, Alex went to the back, adding "Which cellar was that again?"

Alexander (Alex) moved towards the back, looking at the door. "So, an elf and a troll. If their awake, this could be really fun..." Alex noted. He could be considered possibly one of the most craziest people out there, despite his complete lack of showing it. Too bad there are so many crazy people out there, it is really hard to tell.

Alex looked at that door, and asked "Hey, the troll won't have too much fat right? I once heard about this one trolls, it was so fat and so thick, you actually couldn't drink its blood without cutting a good amount of fat off".

Alex, after noting that random fact, added "I wonder what sedatives he used. I think they work really fast in trolls, and Elves too I think...meh, what could possibly go wrong?"

Alexander was simply running through the forest at great speeds when he began to hear commotion. He himself was running back to process everything he had learned from the various people he asked and examined. He would find the person who stabbed him eventually, however, that was certain. And he would learn how he was still alive, after over 300 years...

Alexander thought about his life. His long, strange, and possibly somewhat sadistic life. Only somewhat though, if any. As he made his way back, he decided to make a detour. Make sure no one was following him. So he circled around, towards the others in the forest.

Alex watched all of the people. One was there before, and tow arrived. However, the last one concerned him more then the other two. He found himself cautioning every step he took now, as he approached the crowd, and then, in a pure moment of unexpectedness, he noted "This is an odd place for people to randomly meet...."

There should probably be some sort of prize for figuring out what goes on in his head.

Alex appeared on one of the balconies, looking outward. He then made his way into the ball. He had been working a lot recently, and planned to relax a little. This was not his first formal party, that was clear however. He navigated the room in a way that made him hard to notice, unless he wanted you to. As he made his way to the refreshments, he looked at the servant. "Any word on him?"

"As far as I can tell, no. The man who stabbed you seems to be keeping quiet. There are several who will attest to him being there, at that time, but it appears that is it. He is covering his tracks well..."

"Well find him, either for me, or to learn how to hide from him...". Alexander spoke with darkness, but there was also good in him. He seemed wild and uncontrollable at times, however.

He took one of the glasses of wine, and drank half of it with one gulp. He entered the full force of the party, to see who was here and what was going on. And maybe, find some leads while "relaxing".

Shaking her head, Susan apologized to the giant rabbit. "Sorry, it's a... well a thing. I'm taking classes but it's hard to not be what you are some times, you know." She shrugged, rubbing her shoulder. She then turned and briskly walked away from the rabbit and back to Dakida, drinking her root beer in an absent minded way.

Timo continued to converse with her fellow shapeshifter as they danced, but even then, songs end, and partners must be changed. She was without now, and moved to the bar to order a new drink. She raised her eyebrows at some of the newest entrants and shrugged, but there was a definite mumble of 'I thought this was a HIGH class affair.' towards the man on duty.
Clearly she thought too much of herself, but at least she wasn't making a disgusting fool out of herself.
