"There is always a way to find out a secret."
Alice is curious. That is the first and most noticeable thing. She has the pressence of mind to not be rude, but once she gets a sniff of something exciting, she will persue it to any extent she is able. At times witty, she prefers a lighthearted atmosphere to more sombre meetings, but despite that she can be deadly serious. A sort of a mix there. She cares a lot about herself, but will jump into a possibly dangerous position if it means getting a snap at an extremely interesting piece of information.
A pad and pen that she carries with her at all times.
A jade pendant made into the image of a diamond with a stream flowing across it. Significance unknown.
Born of Japanese immagrants to America, she always had a 'wonder why' attitude. She was, to some extent, the center of gossip during High-school, knowing a lot of what was going on. The only thing that kept her from being the main gossip monger was her ability to decide when to keep something secret because ... well, she was at that stage generous, and despite her curiousity, she didn't like exposing secrets others had that they were embarrassed by.
She did, however, collect secrets. She may not have revealed those embarrassing things, but she usually came by the knowledge of exactly what they were. She was curious, and nothing really changed that, ever.
Being a student of Journalism was not a surprising next step for those that knew her. And she proved to be quite compitent at finding the secrets and information needed to excel. However.. It was then that she had her first problem. Before this she'd had trouble revealing any information that was extremely personal to the person she'd obtained it from.
She withdrew from the course for a little while, staying at home to try and work around her own personal 'blockades' in her work at the time. It took her over two years before she returned to college, starting the course again. No one is sure exactly what happened during that time, but on her return she was tougher, less open and helpful. But she was just as efficient at scrounging information, based on her almost unnatural ability to find the right person to ask about something. It is now several years later, and she has risen through the ranks as the whole Terran independance issue pended. Now she happily works for the Terran Independent, finding and writing, interviewing and scrounging for the best news-stories she can find.
he asked inquisitively. Is everything okay out there? Do you need a terrestrial assist?
he opined, wondering if his cohorts thought the same. What's this, another Gundam?
he said, before grabbing his coat from the rack and departing for the docking bay.Very well. I'll tell the others.
