HISTORY

Al’myaz is one of the remnants of the Muhari, an ancient and reclusive tribe of reptilian (though few know of this aspect of their identity) desert warriors that once made their home in the Dunes of Shal’atar on the world of Kroniktus. They are legendary for their incredible agility, strength, and prowess in combat. It is rumored that they also a practiced a specialized form of shamanism that originated in their native region. During the Shal’atar Campaign waged by the Dark Legion, the mythic warrior sect was nearly wiped out and the remaining members subjugated and conscripted. Over the last several thousand years they have assimilated into their ranks and now work as some of the most deadly and mysterious assassins known to history.

Al’myaz is in initiate of the order – a trainee – and is thus far from comparison against the most experienced of the Muhari assassins. However, still being trained under their tutelage, he should not be underestimated.

EQUIPMENT

Armor: Brown cloth robes that cover most of his body and a dark cowl and hood shrouding his face in complete darkness.

Casual Clothing: Same as above.

Carried Items: He usually carries twin battle-sickles, throwing knives, a coin purse, and a bead talisman.

Main Weapon:
Name: N/A
Type: Twin battle-sickles
Made of: hardened steel blades and bone handles
Length: 24” each
Weight: 10 lbs each
Description/Info: Al’myaz always carries his twin battle-sickles hidden on his person. The sickles used by the infamous Muhari assassins are legendary. Crafted from the fires of the dark mountain Tartaraz on the planet Kroniktus, the steel of these fabled weapons are said to burn into the very souls of those they are branded against with their icy blades. Their ornate jeweled handles are carved from the humorous bones of their first kill – still stained with their blood.

OTHER

Skills:
Agility: The Muhari are legendary for their incredible agility and quick reflexes. Experienced warriors have been known to completely dodge whole volleys of arrows.
Strength: These desert warriors are also known for feats of super strength. Trained to focus their bodies with amazing clarity, the Muhari have been known to shatter bones with a single unarmed strike. Masters are rumored to have broken blades with their bare hands and even shatter plate armor with a carefully executed volley of punches.
Open-handed: Muhari are masters of hand-to-hand combat. To challenge one in such a way is to dance with Death.
Desert Shaman: An ancient and powerful magic course through each of the Muhari. With great concentration and the proper ritual, they are able to summon forth the wrath of the desert in the form of a ferocious sand storm to blind and incapacitate their foes

The doors of the bar swung open silently and a cloaked figure strode into the darkened room. He was clad in a sandy brown cloak and cowl with linen wrappings spiraling up his limbs and body, concealing it completely. His face was shrouded beneath the dark hood of his cloak. In near perfectly silence, his wrapped feet almost glided across the wooden floor.

The cloaked man slid into a shadowed booth without a word, and silently scanned the room, observing the bars tenants.

As the cloaked figure scanned the room, his penetrating gaze fell onto the small group conversing about nightmares. This was a strange world indeed, full of these pale, squishy, weak creatures. He then changed his attention to the woman sitting at the bar. The cloaked man sensed that she was up to something.

The cloaked man sitting in the dark corner perked up slightly at the small army that just entered the bar. "This should be fun..." he thought to himself, mentally remembering the locations of the twin battle-sickles and throwing knives hidden on his person.

Al'myaz Malgun raised his eyebrows beneath the shadow of his hood at the entrance of this new, metallic creature. This world was strange indeed.

As Al'myaz sat in his darkened booth watching the chaos unfold, he silently decided that it would be better to flee than to face this creature. He immediately lifted one of his cloth-wrapped hands, revealing a small circular wooden talisman decorated with various small bones and beads. The cloaked man formed a symbol with his free hand as he held the talisman. Al'myaz began to mutter strange alien words beneath the shadow of his hood.

The cloaked man stared at Zekil, observing him through the darkness of his hood. After a moment he brought his wrapped hands together and spread them as if he was opening an invisible book - or a menu.

Al'myaz Malgun opened the menu with thin gangly fingers that, like the rest of his body, were wrapped in sandy yellow cloth wrappings. He traced the pictures of the different items with a finger before stopping at an image of a pitcher of water. His finger began to tremble and beneath the concealing shadow of his hood his eyes widened. The man then held the menu up to Zekil and pointed at the pitcher of water. "Al'maya shalzin." he said in a raspy voice.

Al'myaz Malgun poured the water from the pitcher into a glass slowly, careful not to spill a drop. When it was half full, he slowly brought it up to his lips beneath the hood, and took a small sip. He savored almost every drop as his hands virtually trembled with the precious liquid in their grip.

As the cloaked man savored his water, he silently noticed the blue-haired man conjure the food items and distribute them to the various patrons. "This world is very interesting..." he thought, "Perhaps I will stay here I bit longer before searching for my target. I wish I knew their strange language. Then I would be able to discover more about this place. It is always good to know your surroundings..."

Al'myaz Malgun continued to sip on his glass of water, which seemed to have about the same amount of liquid as it did when he began. As he drank, he observed the other patrons with mild curiosity and fascination.

The cloaked man in the corner still remained in the bar, completely silent. As he observed the patrons, his penetrating gaze fell upon the girl who just aroused themselves from sleep.

Al'myaz Malgun raised his eyebrow at the girl's behavior. Though he could not understand the words formed by her tongue, her mental instability was quite clear.

"Interesting..." he thought. Poor girl. He almost felt sorry for her. Unfortunately there was no room for mercy or compassion in the heart of a Muhari. Mercy left one vulnerable, and a Muhari could not afford to be vulnerable.

The cloaked man continued to sit in a darkened booth in the back of the bar, observing the patrons beneath the dark concealing shadow of a sandy brown hood, cloak, and cowl. Tan linen wrappings covered his back, torso, and limbs. Even his hands, fingers, and feet were covered by the wrappings.

As the cloaked figure scanned the room, his penetrating gaze fell onto the the blue girl that just came through a door on the far side of the room, and drifted to the man on the counter. This was a strange world indeed, full of these pale, squishy, weak creatures. He then changed his attention to the young urchin girl sitting alone before looking at the virtual menu. The cloaked man knew very little of this world's language, but he was slowly picking up a few words...

The cloaked figure immediately looked away when the girl noticed him watching her. He glanced at the menu again, and settled on an order of roasted snake and a glass of water - a simple but necessary commodity - by guiding himself via the pictures beside the items.

The man looked up at the girl who approached him. Interesting... Clearly he did not know who or what he was. Otherwise she would have been running away from him as fast as her stitched legs could carry her. Wait, stitched legs? Even more interesting... Al'myaz had heard rumors of necromancy on this world, but decided they were only rumors - until now.

"You... ssit?" he said quietly with a slight hiss. "What... you called? ... Name?"
