Description

Full Name: Alohi Kalua
Age: 20 (132)
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Race: Hawaiian Human
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 135
Build: Tall, with slight curves
Eyes: Dark Brown
Hair: Dark Brown

Personality

Personality: Alohi is a very proud and vain woman. She once believed herself to be the finest humans had to offer, but becoming a vampire has soured her disposition. While once she was wild and carefree, dancing and flirting for fun, she now doesn't take the time to even greet those she passes. Her heart is cold and she has stopped caring about anyone else. Scarred by the actions of her sire, she considers him the biggest threat to her continued existence.

Equipment

Special Abilities/Skills: She once wielded elemental magic, but it ebbed from her body as it decayed her. She was turned into a vampire to save her life, and now benefits from the strength, speed, and agility that comes with it.

History

Major Events: On the night of the ninth of August, while she was dancing for a Luau, she was approached by a regular looking tourist who requested a private dance because he was captivated by her. She accepted, being tricked by the compliment, and was taken to the edge of the sea, where the man turned into a elderly Hawaiian. He cursed her to die in sixty days for her vanity, but gave her magic, so she would not feel completely abandoned by her people. He then told her that if by the end of these sixty days, she had not changed her heart, her soul would die with her body and there would be no more second chances. She was then flung into a different world, where she awoke in the morning. After being lightly trained in elemental magic, the curse finally took it's tole on her body, leaving her on her deathbed. A vampire came to devour her, but was convinced to turn her in return for her becoming his possession. He disappeared, however, and she was left to flee her circumstances. No one knows where.

So begins...

Alohi Kalua tilted her head slightly. "The next...world? What are you talking about? Who are you? And don't just say mediator," she responded. This was certainly an odd encounter.

Alohi Kalua just shook her head, eyes closed now. "The afterlife? That sounds oh, so convincing...Are you a manager in hell or something? I assume I don't have to introduce myself. You found me."

"Reincarnation? What, are you here to tell me I'm going to be a dung beetle? A worm? An amoeba? Any way I imagine this conversation, it doesn't end extremely well on my end. I don't exactly have a clean track record to get a good Reincarnate body, now do I?"

Alohi Kalua just blinked for a moment. "Mortal existence...I get to choose my next 'mortal existence'? Is that really smart of you? How'm I supposed to know what to be next? Where to go? Shouldn't you give me a push or something?"

"I can...Choose something and lose the memories I have now? How many times have I done this before?! Am I just some refreshed version of the same girl that's been around for hundreds of years? Why can't you just freaking lift this curse?!" She pounded her fist on the table, though she was still thinking all of this, not really paying attention to her surroundings.

Alohi Kalua was very intent on this strange woman's words, trying to figure out what the hell this woman was on about...Then a very loud bard started screaming in her ear. Her eyes flickered open and she just blinked at the man in a daze for a moment before responding..."What? You can extend my life?" she questioned, barely hiding the hope.

Alohi Kalua shook her head at Tabitha. "Forget you...I'm clinging to this life as long as I can," she thought to her before shoving the voice from her head. She arched a brow at Xian before she was kissed and sputtered for a few moments before blinking open her eyes again. The curse markings had retracted partly, covering only the left side of her body now. She stared at him for a moment. "What did you-" And then she gracefully passed out.

Alohi Kalua softly stepped into the bar. She couldn't remember anything after passing out, but before was a perfectly clear memory. Being tongued by a complete stranger wasn't something you forgot easily...But when she awoke, the curse had abated to only covering the left half of her body, so she was grateful at least. She padded to the bar counter and sat down, head held high. She had some of her beauty back, so she wasn't going to waste this time.

Alohi Kalua turned her head as she was addressing, revealing the charred and decaying skin on the left side of her body and face. She arched a single eyebrow and scoffed at the man who addressed her. "I'm not the bartender, sir. Get someone else to give you hard rum," she replied haughtily. Okay, maybe getting thirty more days added to her lifespan had sparked her high-browed attitude again. Even if she was still cursed on one side. "Bartender! Something strong!" she called for herself.

Alohi Kalua eyed the puddle-turned-man wearily with her one working eye. She quickly grabbed the glass and set the correct amount of money on the table in it's place. "Thanks," she stated in a very ungrateful tone. She sipped at her drink quietly, eye looking over the other patrons and examining them.

Alohi Kalua 's nonworking eye drifted to the bartender as she shook her head, still sipping at her drink. "No, sir," she mumbled before downing the rest of it. She made a slight face before hitting the glass back on the table and looking around with her good eye again. Dammit, even now, she couldn't talk to anyone. This curse was taking her beauty and life slowly and she couldn't do anything to prevent it. She had thirty extra days now, but did that matter? She couldn't do anything properly anymore...Her blackened hand snapped, bringing a single flame above it.

Alohi Kalua stood quickly, keeping the barstool upright. She couldn't stand it...This place just reminded her of how much she was being affected. She couldn't be her self from before the curse anymore. She wasn't free to act however she wanted. All she could do was sit and watch others live normally, while she was stuck being chained by this curse. She felt bitter and angry and knew that if she didn't pay attention, she'd light something, probably herself, on fire. She took a few limping steps toward the stairs...Of course, she didn't really want to leave; she couldn't stay either.

Alohi Kalua carefully darted among the trees, ginger on the left side. That side seemed as if it was being devoured by some strange disease, skin blackened and cracked. She crouched down and pulled at the herbs on the side of the path. Were those the ones she was sent for? No, they weren't the correct color. "Dammit," she cursed lowly.

She heard another voice and the familiar twang of a nearby bow being let off. "There are others around this place...?" That didn't make her happy, not at all. She didn't want anyone to see her, not as she was. She was still clinging to what little vanity she had left.

Alohi Kalua 's eyes darted around the path for a moment before she snuck off into the trees. She didn't want to be involved with anyone. She carefully looked around the floor frantically, ignoring the cracking noises emitting from her left side. "Come on, come on...Just a few herbs and then I can leave," she chanted to herself, eager to be gone.

Alohi Kalua 's head snapped up as a strange figure appeared in front of her. Her eyes narrowed, the left one emitting more cracking noises and the blackness seeming to flake slightly. "Hello..." she greeted in turn, suspicion clear in her tone. Her right hand moved slightly, as if readying to snap.

Alohi Kalua took a step back carefully, her eyes not leaving those she found behind his mask. "I could ask you the same," she stated, straightening up from her crouched position. "I don't have to tell you anything without something in return," she stated, still suspicious.

Alohi Kalua 's eyes narrowed again and she took another step back, snapping the fingers on her left hand and igniting a flame. She branished it protectively in front of her face. "I'm here for healing herbs, I was sent by my master," she stated quietly. An owner of the Dark Woods...That meant trouble. She should leave and get back to her hotel room as soon as possible.

Alohi Kalua cursed quietly as her back exit was blocked off. "Don't call me a child. I don't even want this power, since it's eating my life!" she stated, a bit angry now that she registered she might be in danger. The flame went out as she began to move to the side instead. "Just leave me be and I'll get out of your woods, eh?"

Alohi Kalua eyed the magic. She was going to kill Doji for sending her alone this way...She turned quickly and without a word began to sprint back down the path in the direction of the city, a large limp in her stride, slowing her considerably.

Alohi Kalua slowed to a stop and looked back over her shoulder as her attacker disappeared. She looked around for a moment, it seemed he could disappear and reappear at will. She looked at the two that were now near her and just nodded in acknowledgement, breathing a bit heavy.

Alohi Kalua nodded again, straightening up and hiding the blackened and cracking side of herself from their view. "I'm fine. Thank you, I suppose," she stated quietly, giving a sideways nod again. The movement was one of the few she could make without pain.

Alohi Kalua tilted her head and then shook it. "It's fine, nothing can be done for it. Thank you for driving him off, though," she stated, stepping back self-consciously. "Alohi," she provided, a bit of irritation in her voice. Great, they knew her name and saw how she was now. Perfect.

Alohi Kalua narrowed her eyes at the banquet table, her diseased eye looking over everything spitefully. "And what kind of host prevents his guests from leaving at their will?" she returned, moving back from the table. "I won't be poisoned. I'm only here for healing herbs," she stated. "Can't you let us be?" And there went one defender...Great.

Alohi Kalua rolled her eyes and scoffed. "How dramatic, demon." Her eyes softened at the woman's offering of herbs. She slipped them into her belt for Doji to look at later. "Thank you again," she stated before watching the strange pokemon begin to devour the food. "Is...he dumb?"
