Description

Full Name: Alohi Kalua
Age: 20 (132)
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Race: Hawaiian Human
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 135
Build: Tall, with slight curves
Eyes: Dark Brown
Hair: Dark Brown

Personality

Personality: Alohi is a very proud and vain woman. She once believed herself to be the finest humans had to offer, but becoming a vampire has soured her disposition. While once she was wild and carefree, dancing and flirting for fun, she now doesn't take the time to even greet those she passes. Her heart is cold and she has stopped caring about anyone else. Scarred by the actions of her sire, she considers him the biggest threat to her continued existence.

Equipment

Special Abilities/Skills: She once wielded elemental magic, but it ebbed from her body as it decayed her. She was turned into a vampire to save her life, and now benefits from the strength, speed, and agility that comes with it.

History

Major Events: On the night of the ninth of August, while she was dancing for a Luau, she was approached by a regular looking tourist who requested a private dance because he was captivated by her. She accepted, being tricked by the compliment, and was taken to the edge of the sea, where the man turned into a elderly Hawaiian. He cursed her to die in sixty days for her vanity, but gave her magic, so she would not feel completely abandoned by her people. He then told her that if by the end of these sixty days, she had not changed her heart, her soul would die with her body and there would be no more second chances. She was then flung into a different world, where she awoke in the morning. After being lightly trained in elemental magic, the curse finally took it's tole on her body, leaving her on her deathbed. A vampire came to devour her, but was convinced to turn her in return for her becoming his possession. He disappeared, however, and she was left to flee her circumstances. No one knows where.

So begins...

Alohi Kalua stared for a moment before moving around, trying to find a way out. "I see why. You've probably scared them all off with your 'greeting.'" She looked over her shoulder at the feast and the apparently dead pokemon and sighed. "I'm not hungry," she growled quietly before moving to the creature's side and slipping one of the herbs into his mouth, hopefully to force him to regurgitate the 'poisoned' food.

Alohi Kalua rolled her eyes and stood. "Don't eat demon food," she stated before returning to the walls and trying to find a weak point with her flaming hand. She gave one wall a soft kick, testing their durability. She was never doing these missions for Doji again.

Alohi Kalua gave a tired sigh and glared at the masked man again. "No, I won't. I'm smart enough to know I wouldn't wake up," she stated before hitting her shoulder into the wall. "I'd actually prefer to go home, thanks."

Alohi Kalua didn't hesitate an instant and sprinted through the remains of the wall, her limp only slowing her slightly. She took a moment to register the direction back to town and was off, not bothering to answer foolish questions or even thank the pokemon.

Alohi Kalua paid no head to the words of her attacker and continued sprinting. Without any more prevention, she would run all the way back to Gambit's hotel, leading Lee unintentionally.

Alohi Kalua lay bedridden, a blackened arm lying over her eyes. Fifty-nine days had come and gone, but she'd found none of the compassion or healing she'd been hoping for. That old man had lied, most certainly. Even as her beauty was waning to the grasp of the curse, no more of this magic would come to her. Her control was shaky, barely worth mentioning, despite the help of her teacher. "If I could just leave this bed...If I could find someone useful, it wouldn't be too late..." she mumbled to herself in aggravation. Her life was measured in hours now. And those were fading much too quickly.

Alohi Kalua frowned at the sudden noise. Visitors...? She had been the only one in this small house for weeks now...Her mentor had gone off on some journey. This couldn't be another student, now, could it? "Doji isn't here!" she yelled, hoping the open window would carry her words to the front door.

Alohi Kalua 's frown only deepened as the door opened and she shrank into her covers, hiding the black, rotting taint that crept up her right side and over her face. "Hey! Don't just barge in! I said that Doji isn't here, so get out. You're not invited in," she stated, glancing around herself. Of course, there wasn't much in way of protection...but she could always light whoever it was on fire as a warning.

Alohi Kalua began to squirm, urging her rotting flesh to hide beneath the covers. No one could see her like this. Her beauty was almost nonexistant, her skin was charred and disgusting...No. No one would see her in this state upon her life. "Gifts? Leave them at the door, then! I'll get them later. She strained to lean over the bed to see who it was...that voice was enticing...but no luck. Still out of sight.

Alohi Kalua threw up her good arm in irritation. Why wouldn't he leave?! "Then come in, put them in the fridge or wherever, and go!" she cried out.

Alohi Kalua frowned, pulling the cover back just enough to glare with her one good eye. "Of course, but apparently you cannot hear me. Leave your gifts and go! Don't come near me!" she called out, beginning to panic. Any closer and this person would see the death sunk into her skin.

Alohi Kalua raised her visible brow and looked him over. "You're obviously a liar, since you have no gifts. I don't really think I have much of a reason to trust you..." she mumbled angrily, sinking back into the pillow.

Alohi Kalua began to give off an aura of a trapped and injured animal. Her glare intensified and she scrunched back into herself as much as possible. "That is none of your business. If I want to hide, I can...I'm cursed. I have the right to hide it," she retorted defensively.

Alohi Kalua lifted her chin a little higher, the black edges barely visible from behind the sheet. "Gifts that I fail to see. Who sent you here? Was it Doji?" she questioned uncertainly. His presence was a bit disarming...she was used to being in that position. She wanted to raise herself up and glare him right out the door...if only her legs still worked.

Alohi Kalua tilted her head and scoffed. "Of course...I've heard of everything in this city...Why?" Her defensive instincts were triggering. Her eye wandered about again...maybe if she had the strength, she could wield the lamp from her position...

Alohi Kalua through off her cover, at the same time he yelled, yanking the lamp off the bedstand with her good arm. She pulled it back and barely supported it with the decaying arm, holding it back like a baseball bat. "Get out right now! I'm not a blood bank!"

Alohi Kalua scowled, the decayed half of her face in a constant frown. "Fix? There's no fixing. I'm almost out of time anyway. Just leave me to die in peace, got it?!" she questioned, gesturing with the lamp angrily again. "You'll suck me dry...You just want me to lower my guard." Always the stubborn one...

Alohi Kalua relaxed herself slightly, almost dropping the lamp. "Forever...? Sounds too good to be true...but I don't think I want to be an invalid forever. You can fix that...?" She was letting a little bit of hope sink into her tone...To make up for that, she lifted her chin a little higher, wearing it with pride.

Alohi Kalua scoffed, losing the strength to hold up the lamp any longer and letting it hit the bed with a soft thump. "If you're lying, I'll find some way to get back at you. Even if I'm dead..." she threatened quietly, almost subdued. This might be her last hope...

Alohi Kalua attempted to raise the lamp again, her eyes burning with indignation. "Don't just let yourself in! I didn't ask for anyone else for this..." she practically growled. More people...seeing her in this state. Charred, destroyed. All her former beauty gone... "I don't want him here. Why did you call him?!" she yelled with waning pride. No. She wouldn't lose everything.

Alohi Kalua began motioning with the lamp again, barely grasped as it was. "No. I won't be 'sired' by someone...like him," she spat. "I won't lower myself to that. He's not worthy to even think of touching me..." Another glare and angered gesture.

Alohi Kalua scoffed. "My life is my own...I'd rather die this way than sell myself to some...trash like him," she stated, almost a hiss. She held the flame in front of herself protectively. "No..." she muttered. "No!"
