Alrion Flavaar

A curious effort

930 views · located in The Infinite Void

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Patcharoo

Description

A pleasant faced man sporting blonde hair and lively features. He dresses brightly in light colours of red, gold and sky blue, mostly with high colours and white shirts underneath.

Essentially

Mindsear
A blade enchanted not to break and never to lose its edge. Those cut with it will feel a searing pain attacking their mind.

Magician's Cape
An unassuming red cape.

Fire Bombs
Small glass orbs about the size of a golf ball. When they shatter they ignite, spraying flames in a small radius. Primarily used for distraction and intimidation.

Red Magic
Red magic is the spirit of energy, life and passion. It embodies all things driven by emotions, be it flames or driving people to anger.

Fawx
Given the name Alrion once used as his own to hide from his brother this majestic bird has sharp talons and burning wings. Incredibly loyal to the core and a carnivore, Alrion is very fond of this immortal creature.

Personality

In an old life, Alrion was a womanizer and a drunk, but he grew from these matters as all responsible men should. Nowadays he is much improved, being a womanizer and a drunk skilled in combat and uncaring about life. He spends most of his time talking about some woman he once knew but doesn't anymore. His tales are usually sullied by his drunkenness and his normally polite and friendly manner is more arrogant and selfish.

History

Alrion Flavaar was betrayed twice by his brother, and died once. His brother changed sides in the war, then literally stabbed Alrion in the back and left him for dead. Did he die? Was the woman who saved him really a goddess? Answers to these questions he will never know. All he knows as that it has been a long time since he saw her. Eva. The woman he once had in his grasp and lost.

So begins...

Alrion Flavaar walks away casually. There was never a challenge to be faced here. He takes his place up at the counter. "Could I get a wine?" he asks Miles politely, settling in the seat next to Whisper.

Alrion Flavaar makes his way into the bar and towards Drakus, intent on conversing with his brother. He orders a wine as he settles down across, the two men sharing feined friendly glances, then rolling their eyes as they both looked away.

Alrion Flavaar cocks his head. "Come now brother, we can be friendly even if we are not friends. I actually might be able to help you. I understand you had a run in with the law?" He doesn't wait for a reply when he presses on. "The fact is, brother, I can get away with what you can't. I just need your advice on how..."

Alrion Flavaar let's out a casual sigh. "I want power, brother. I think I can do some good with it now. I just don't have knowledge of how to get it, and get it fast." He rubs his head and let's out another sigh. "You've always been persuing power. How do you get it?"

Alrion Flavaar rubs his jaw. "Alright..." he says quietly, turning to look about the bar. 'What about the musicians?" he suggests, "Or... that woman?" He points towards Doji.

Alrion Flavaar raises an eyebrow. "Is this truly how you see the world, brother? A series of people who are worth your time and not worth your time. You can be very twisted." He sighs. "Alright, what do I do when I have chosen?" he asks.

Alrion Flavaar turns around to the bar, examining the various people, focus clear on his features. "A tool..." he murmers. "Someone I could use without remorse." He swallows. It was going to be harder then he thought.

Alrion Flavaar now had his turn to let out a frustrated sigh. "Drakus, I did say how twisted you are, didn't I? The only alone woman is the singer, if you count her as being alone, and her singing makes me not want to hurt her," he says, indicating to Briena.

Alrion Flavaar sighs and rubs his forehead, before standing and heading towards Briena. For the moment, though, he simply stands and listens, as if waiting to speak to her.

Alrion Flavaar raises a smile to his features. Here goes nothing. "Ah, I was wondering if I could get the name of the woman that sings so beautifully as to make me wish to dance."

Alrion Flavaar gives a slight bow. "Erani, my name is Alrion. It is a pleasure to meet you." He sits down with a friendly smile. In truth, he had a good soul, though he was perhaps a bit misguided at this time. Any actual checks would come up 'clean' so to speak, with only two real indiscretions marking him. "Where did you learn to sing so well?"

Alrion Flavaar nods patiently as he listens, then lowers his head slightly. "None of us are perfect, to be honest, but I am the 'better' brother. I don't go out of my way making trouble that comes back to haunt me." He looks towards Drakus and the police. "Speaking of which..."

Alrion Flavaar nods and sighs. "Yes, the man can be a tyrant. But he's family, so I have to put up with him. He even killed me once, but I was lucky to find a godess who would kindly save me and give me a wonderful opportunity. It is a pity it never worked out." He sighs.

Alrion Flavaar enters the bar, heading towards the counter with a hand pressed to his head tiredly. "Wine," he says to the bartenders queries, settling him down in a seat only two from Bihai. His eyes momentarily drift to the woman with a raised eyebrow.

Alrion Flavaar momentarily glances towards the other, then rubs his head, scooping up his arriving cup to fill it and quickly tip some of the yellowish liquid down his throat. Oh goddess, the headache he had.

Alrion Flavaar forces a smile to his face as he settles his cup down, eyes dropping to Bihai once more. "Opera? Ha, yes, if only I were so lucky. Tell me, is it common for a man to wake up with no memory of the night before and a massive poundin headache?" he asks with a shift of his eyes to the side.

Alrion Flavaar raises another half-hearted grin, reaching for one of the pills and slipping it into his mouth. With a mouthful of wine it was gone. "Thanks," he comments with a sigh. "I can't recall the last time I got so smashed that I couldn't recall the last night! It's quite astonishing."

Alrion Flavaar shakes his head and even manages a chuckle, which is cut off by a loud groan. "I don't think I will for some time," he says, resting his head on the counter. "Alrion Flavaar," he introduces himself as.

Alrion Flavaar nods slowly, smile spreading across his lips as far as it could. "I don't mean to offend your trade, but I would appreciate it if you didn't sing right now, though I'm sure you have a wonderful voice." Flattery came easy when being friendly. "I'm a lawyer, so its probably best if we talk about you rather then me."

Alrion Flavaar let's out a forced chuckle. "Well, I'm afraid I'm going to try and rest this off in silence. The bar can get awfully roudy and I do not want to be here with a headache when it does."

Alrion Flavaar nods. "I'd like that. Do you have any concerts on?" he asks as he stands. He pushes the remainder of the wine bottle towards her. He sure as hell wasn't going to drink it!

A flicker seems to be in the distance, a man, possibly. For a moment they stand staring towards Whisper before they turn and step towards a tree, disappearing behind it. They emerge from behind a stone column, this time much closer, but without glancing in the womans direction the man presses on to walk behind a wall.

Finally Alrion stands above, watching over Whisper from a crumbled second floor of a building. "Greetings," comes a soft and even ambient voice, like that seemed to vibrate as it was heard. In addition, it had a strange but strongly off tune, one that couldn't be followed due to the switching between two pitches without thought of beat or tempo. "I have been searching for you."

The most stranget hing though, was his eyes. He stared forward as though he didn't see, and in fact seemed to lack iris, but on closer inspection they were clearly a ghostly white colour.
