Weapons:

  • Pistol that Kurtis gave her

History

Her history is long and complicated. Basically she was stolen from her coven in the dead of the night when other people were killed and ended up out in the world on her own when she killed her captors. She knew absolutely nothing about the outside world, and at one point ended up being owned by Rufus Klane, who used her as a performer and prostitute in his club, and kept her prisoner there along with other girls whom he beat often, etc. She escaped, eventually, and has been running ever since, not only from Rufus, but also from people who find out about her along the way and want to use her for her power and steal the crystal that she was born with embedded in her hip.

Since she's arrived in Wing City, she's trained under Connor as an assassin, to be able to do something a little more with her time.

So begins...

Alyssa Marina At the commotion on the other side of the bar, she stuck her head out of the booth, and stared at what was going on. The witch lifted one eyebrow, again seeming to gather a bit more of herself back into her being. She wondered what was going on, but didn't bother to pull herself away from Kurtis to find out.

"What if I don't?" she asked. And then she frowned, "And maybe I don't even want to..."

Alyssa Marina "Before we fought," she said, putting her head back on his chest, "What did we do? What was the last thing you remember us doing?"

Alyssa Marina Alyssa frowned. "An assassin?" she asked, confused, "I thought I was a witch. And who's Connor?" she was beginning to feel very confused, and a slight throbbing had begun in her brain. She rested her hand on her forehead.

Alyssa Marina She flinched when she heard him growl, and looked at him again. "I'm sorry," she said, "I'm really sorry. I can't imagine... I was a really bad person, wasn't I?" she asked, and looked down.

Alyssa Marina Alyssa thought on that for a long time, absently scratching her arm where the numbers were. She scratched a bit harder, subconsciously seeming to try and get them off of her. A bit of blood drew out of the scratches, but she didn't even notice.

Alyssa Marina She struggled for just a moment as he grabbed her hand. "No," she said in protest, as she continued to push her hand toward her arm, "I want them off." But she knew that cutting into her own skin was melodramatic and childish, and she watched as he wrapped her arm with a bandage. "I really just want to remember," she resolved, and clenched one of her fists. "When I find who did this..." she started, menacingly, but didn't finish her sentence, because she wasn't sure what she was going to do.

She certainly wasn't going to gift them with a gift basket, that was for sure.

Alyssa Marina "You said I was a witch," she said, as she pressed her cheek to his shoulders, "I remembered that, for some reason. How would I know that? Well..." her crystal, she supposed. One hand went subtly to her hip, and she nodded. Must be it. "Okay, then I must know all kinds of spells! Did I used to have books?" she was beginning to grow excited, and she sat up straighter, eyes glistening.

Alyssa Marina "You did?" she asked, eyes flashing another bit brighter. She smiled, and wanted to rush up there and start looking through them immediately, but... she still had the decision to make: whether or not she even wanted to remember.

"What do you think will happen if I remember?" she asked, frowning.

Alyssa Marina "I was taken over by evil witches?" she asked, and frowned, "That sounds exciting. I must lead an exciting life." Alyssa stretched her arms out, leaning forward just a bit as she did so. When she did, her arm came out of the sleeve a little bit and she saw the tattoo on her arm. "Hm," she said and pulled back the sleeve, revealing the long, winding stems and leaves and flowers that went up her arm. "Whoa... Did I always have this?" she mumbled. A thought suddenly occurred to her.

"Maybe it was the witches that did this!"

Alyssa Marina "It's nice." she said and lifted up her arm, peering at it. She hated being in her own body and not knowing what the hell was on it, in it. Ugh. "I wonder what it means." She glanced up at Kurtis. "Are you tired?" she asked randomly.

Alyssa Marina "Well there's this amazing invention called a bed," she said and frowned, "Not that I remember what one feels like... just know what it is." She could not explain the odd feeling, how she knew so much about life, how she was even speaking. Hmmm.

Alyssa Marina She laughed, at his comment about being too lazy to go upstairs, and tapped his side with the back of her hand playfully. She played with one of her rings, twisting it around her finger absently as she listened to him. Her eyes widened.

Alyssa's emotions were in a panic, suddenly, all because of seven words. She frowned. On one hand, why not? She felt that she had feelings down in her soul for this man who may have saved her life a thousand times over, for all she knew.

On the other hand, she was terrified. Although she was almost sure that he was not lying, she still had no way of telling if any of his words were actually the truth, if she could not remember. Not to mention, a thousand other issues on top of it.

But at the same time, what did it all matter? She angled her eyes up to Kurtis, hands folded in her lap, before biting her bottom lip, walking her fingers up his chest extremely slowly. She dragged her fingers along his jawline, still not saying anything. But then suddenly, and rather unexpectedly she leaned forward to give him an incredibly gentle kiss. "I'm glad," was all she whispered, when she pulled herself back a bit.

Alyssa Marina "You carry it with you?" she asked, and took the gun out of his hands, turning it over and over in her hand.

She didn't remember it, but there it was, her name. She ran her fingers over it, and nodded her head. "I believe you," she mumbled as she kissed him back, one and resting on the back of his neck.

Alyssa Marina The witch leaned her head against his chest again, and nuzzled her nose against his skin.
"Why do you carry the gun with my name on it around with you?" she asked curiously.

Alyssa Marina "I must have worried people," she said, and frowned. "Were people looking for me?" she worried, now that she was back (sort of) that people were still out in danger looking for her. She bit her bottom lip.
Alyssa leaned up and kissed Kurtis on the cheek. "Tell me how we met." she said, and folded her hands in her lap.

Alyssa Marina "Well what the fuck is going on down here...?" she mumbled to no one in particular as she came down the steps. She was wearing some of her old clothes that she had found in Kurtis's room, but she wore one of his shirts over her tank top and skirt, and she had one eyebrow raised.

Her hair whipped around her face, as she stood there, looking. She wished she could remember some of her spells (her memory had been taken from her), but it would seem there was nothing she could do at that moment to help. She felt her crystal in her hip vibrating with the display of power that was being shown in the room, but Alyssa could think of nothing she could do to help without her spells...

The witch had not been seen in a long, long time, but she entered the bar as if it had only been days before, and to her it had been. Alyssa ran her hand through her hair and took a seat at the bar. She frowned at the slight change in menu. "That was quick." she mumbled and began to look through it. She ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and began sipping at it idly, making little pebbles dance in the air in front of her face.
