An Unknown Being
You need not know who I am...Not now, at least...
- A mysterious being...with a nefarious aura...

0 · 836 views · located in The Boiling Plains

a character in “The Multiverse”, originally authored by RolePlayGateway, as played by Vejisama

Groups

"...You see. Years of strife and trying to understand this world left me with one logical realization. Numbers count." - A newly bred organization of villains bent on the suffering of Terra.

Description

Garbed in the finest of shaded silks, his alabaster skin accentuated by the cloth he's swaddled in. With a hood draped over a majority of his face, nothing can be seen of him aside from his lips and the haunting, glowing, jewels that are his vermilion eyes. He stands at a definitive height of six foot, four inches. Beyond this, nothing recognizable can be drawn from him aside from the pearled fangs that peek out from beneath his upper lip and the blackened talons that are his nails.

Image

Personality

A lacking, definitive, persona, this shady figure represents a looming, foreshadowed, doom. He speaks in a silent manner, and embodies a contagious, fear inducing, malice. A nefarious attitude is what he represents, seeking simply answers and others like minded.

Equipment

None that can be seen upon his figure, though from beneath the robes he wears, a feint outline of a sword can be seen at times. Depending on the situation, he may have it upon him, or he may not.

History

A past incarnation of a terrifying titan, this form of him lasted only until he found true completion. Upon that day, this guise was dismissed and the true being came to exist once again, but in recent times, and for interesting reasons, he chose to dawn this guise once again, believing this deceitful facade would earn him what he so seeks.

So begins...

An Unknown Being creeps forth, at an agonizingly slow pace. Clawed fingertips screech along the side of one noticed black van parked outside, the sound piercing ears of those who awaited outside the establishment. Long trails of shredded steel remain as a reminder, before being rounds the vehicle completely. Tainted eyes glance about, before the being slips into the bar, a few noted things on his mind.

Draped in a billowing outfit, alloy curved shoulder additions holding massive, smooth, and curved, spikes upon them, his head seems to be tilted slightly downward, his locks hiding his face in a shadowed fashion.

...He was present to collect a certain piece of weaponry, but as he glances about, he notices said thing missing. This posed as an irritation of sorts...

An Unknown Being looks upon the transpiring events happening within the bar. His gaze, slow, and keen, he comes to deliberate an opinion of the place in a matter of moments.

"...Hnph, a conglomeration of fools, loons, and worthless trash. Such a shame. I've brought myself into a toxic stew of unintelligibly painful beings..." He mutters, closing his eyes.

A few strides carries him further into the establishment, unto which he comes to a stagnant position upon a spot a notable death took place. Scouring once again, he laments silently as he cannot find this specific item...

An Unknown Being ceases his search for the blade, and laments further. Irritation spikes, and a rather thick aura radiates from his form momentarily, before ceasing. The floor beneath him had slightly caved downward from the pressure, but he managed to control himself enough.

With a hiss, he turns on his heel, striding towards the door. A lash of his hand, and he tosses a table from his way with ease.

"I will find it. I must have Onikussaiga." He mutters.

An Unknown Being slowly strides along the side of the bar, trailing a nail into the woodgrain of it. Upon reaching the end, he simply stops, before a few flicks of his finger carves a jagged K into the surface. With a snicker, he then departs the bar, coming upon that same van from earlier. Still irritated, he stops before it, before diving both clawed hands into it. With a force akin to transcendental proportions, he tears the vehicle in two, driving the pieces away from one another.

It...was simply in his way, and he didn't feel like going around it. With that, he vanishes, bound to return again sometime soon...

An Unknown Being slowly strode his way toward the location known as Gambit's. Once again, he had on his mind acquiring a certain piece of weaponry. Where it had vanished to, he knew not, but...he would find out, and he would...attain it.

Stopping before the door of the bar, he places a hand upon it. A chemical fusion of two energies within his palm, Ki, and Demonic energies, begins to superheat the door; burning it into cindering remnants of what it once was, before he slips inside without a sound.

Glancing about, he takes a single look upon the spot of one Kazura Kanahashi's area of death.

"Hn, where oh where...is Onikussaiga..." The being hisses nefariously under his breath..

An Unknown Being lingers for a moment, looking about for any signs of the blade, before irritation spikes in him once more, like the previous time. With a rather heavy snort, he closes his eyes, striding his way deeper into the confines of the bar floor. Delicately soft lips part, revealing elongated canines, before his voice echoes out from the orifice.

"Whom in this rat infested locale...knows of the being Kanahashi Kazura..."

An Unknown Being sets his attention on the one who seemed to answer him. Optics glaring in malice study, whilst thought processing deliberates upon the various ways he could probe for further information...

"So...you know not of this man? Why do you choose to answer my question if it does not pertain to you, hn? From my understanding, he was...well known around here..." The being states, sliding a devilish tongue across his lips. "...And his blade was even more famed..." he finishes, taking a single menacing step forth.

An Unknown Being narrows his hateful eyes upon Gokita, waving a hand in dismissal. A quiver in his lip revealed a single elongated fang from moment to moment, before he turns away in irritation. "Then you are of no use to me." He states, before Whisper chose to speak up.

"Oh, is that so? What do you know of Kanahashi Kazura, and the famed blade Onikussaiga, hn?" He inquires, rather sarcastically, though a lacing of sinister malice in his voice.

An Unknown Being offers a surprisingly delightful smile, now, his face beaming, and the negative aura he was throwing off simply vanishes. An answer. Wonderful.

"Ah, so you did know of him. Interesting. My intentions? I wish for his blade. Nothing more, nothing less. His death is rather saddening, although slightly humorous." The being states with a chuckle, though his eyes snap open, casting upon her with a slightly unsettling glare...that...eerie smile remaining.

"You wouldn't happen to know where this blade is, would you? I'm afraid I must have it, and I will not stop until I get it..."

An Unknown Being arches a brow. Something, though he knew not what it was, prodded at him. But, for now he ignored the feeling. A slight snicker arises on his lips though.

"Acquaintances such as...Vegeshin, Vexion, Rizukumei? They will be of no help..." The being states, the words coming from his mouth unsettling, as if this being personally knew of them...

"Though, it would be nice...to encounter the being whom killed him. I'd have to...offer them congratulations on bringing about the death of The Crimson Menace. A difficult task..." He adds, before noting her shifted gaze momentarily, following her gaze upon Aiyanna-A. But, he turns his attention back on her instantly.

"Of course the blade is dangerous. It is Onikussaiga, The Chusshin blade of Hell. Forged by one of the thirteen Dark Deities. Only one whom knows of its history, and...has a connection with it, can wield it properly without...certain negative effects." He states, crimson eyes aglow now.

Sadly, he paid hardly any attention to Gokita.[/color

An Unknown Being sets a glare upon Gokita, parting his lips in vicious fashion. "Do naught tempt me, female. You know nothing of me, nor what I am capable of. A bastard I can be..." He hisses...

Setting his eyes back upon Whisper and now Aiyanna-A, his irritation remains. His answers ceased now. This was unacceptable, but...for now, it worked. He would run into this female again, he'd make sure of that.

"Very well, you have pressing issues. We shall speak again." He states, turning on his heel to leave. Making his way toward the exit, he trails a clawed fingertip upon the bar counter, digging a trench in it, before running a fingertip upon the etched 'K' he'd left the previous visit.

As he leaves, he snickers, and softly chants to himself.

"Onikussaiga...you will be mine. I'll finish what Kazura could not. Surpass him, like a son should..." he mutters, cackling to himself as he vanishes.

Of all things anyone on this planet would not understand, it was perhaps the mentality of the being who strode his way into Gambit's. Beneath a veil of shaded garb, two vermillion hues cast their sights upon the beings within. Without ever so much as a sound, they fixated themselves upon Satanity. It appeared the bloodthirsty creature had some attention from a couple of individuals. When mention of Randin worked its way to his ears, a twisted curve manifested betwixt his lips.

Of course, they were just as hidden as was the majority of his face, a simple piece of cloth pulled up over the bridge of his nose, for measures allowing to conceal his identity. Idle movement of his hands then became lackadaisical strides toward the bar counter.

For now, he would lurk and...simply observe.

Continuing his watchful gaze of the establishment, the figure took little note of the figure next to him for a few short moments. He was far more fixated on the matter at hand. Precisely the wolf creature in the far corner, and the female speaking with it. He was focused intently on what the female was saying.

If it was about what he believed it was, she...could prove useful. Perhaps...

Only when the figure to his side murmured something into his covered ear did his eyes widen in slight surprise. Was it truly that easy? No. It couldn't be. He'd certainly gone the distance to conceal himself. None could possibly know who he was, aside from a easy select few he allowed to know. Turning his attention toward her, his eyes narrowed in scrutiny. Who was this figure?

"Perhaps what brings anyone else to this miserable slumhole. The pursuit of a goal."

"Generous. I'd have to consider that a first upon my ears." He remarked for a moment, eyes still keen on the event transpiring in the corner. The wolf beast continuously circled the female, bringing a grin to his lips. Of course, this couldn't be seen, but possibly discerned by the way the fabric clutching at his jaw moved. Of course, he couldn't do much yet. He was all caught up in conversational matters. It was rather disgusting, really. Socializing simply to keep his cover, even though the wench knew who he was.

"You seem vaguely familiar yourself." He adjusted his gaze, peering at her. Though he couldn't place it. Nothing at all, truly, was evident. But at the same time, he felt he should know. It was rather irritating. It brought him to rummage through all the old, pointless, faces he knew from this hell hole. "Perhaps I should know you. I simply do not, though." He finished, before tapping the counter himself with an elongated nail.

A small glass was received and only then did the figure remove the fabric that clutched at his face. With the hood still covering a vast majority of his face, though, knowing who he was would be a lofty feat still. Sipping at it, he replaced it upon the counter before uttering a sigh.

"Yes. I have my motives. And in time, they will begin to manifest, and show promise."

"You seem to know an awful lot about me, don't you? I'm curious as to how you know this." He began, stirring his drink with a single nail. His ominous, glowing, eyes resumed looking upon her for a moment. "You are correct, though. There are many that I simply do not remember. They were all pitiful, honestly. But, why speak of death and bloodshed. Why not speak of the more grander memories." He began, offering a coy grin.

His memory, though dull in some places, was rather sharp in others. "I specifically remember one wench who couldn't keep her mouth closed. I'd rather not recollect much about her, though, for in a previous iteration of this vessel, nothing good came of that scenario. I also remember a single, worthless, wench whom captivated this previous iterations attention. Needless to say, he slayed her eventually." He continued, his voice a mere whisper.

"The only living figure that could know so much, really, and pick me out of a crowd as I am...well." He said with a grin, and then silenced himself. He seemed to be making leeway. Or at least he thought he'd begun making progress. Who knew what he was thinking.

Turning his attention back upon the wolf, though, he found himself scrutinizing the girl now moreso than ever. She'd said what he'd needed to hear. A careless regard for lives. To burn this city would mean utmost death and carnage. The masses would be haunted for years should such a thing happen. The lost lives. The innocence that would stain the ground as blood; ashes billowing into the wind. That was what he liked to hear.

"I'll refrain from where I was going, though I'm pretty sure I have a keen idea as to who you are...in regards to me." He then said quite apathetically. "As for bloodshed and mayhem? You seem to be mistaken. I prefer more collected and calm methods now." He turned toward her. "And I wouldn't insult the pooch within earshot. It seems he's heard you."

"Tch! Such a silly hope is lost amongst the sea of ignorance. You do realize that, do you not? The only vision that holds true is a vision of ever present calamity and discord. An eternal race betwixt light and dark to capture that which matters most. It will never and, and should it ever, oblivion is bound to come about." He muttered, sipping at his drink once more.

"But, yes. That wench is dead and gone. Good riddance. As for you. I should say I detest your presence just as much. I'm surprised you even showed yourself. Perhaps I should feel flattered." He muttered, stirring his glass even more intensely.

His eyes scrutiny of the girl intensified as she closed the distance betwixt her and the bar. As the wolfish creature cut her off though, his eyes narrowed. A deal? How curious. Was this foolish little girl attempting to make a deal with the devilish hell hound? Well, this simply could not be!

For what appeared to be no reason, the veiled figures arm rose, palm clean and crisp as it then took haste in descending upon the bar counter, a thunderous thud as it struck the flat portion of the bar. Of course, it wasn't anything serious. He hadn't even cracked the laminate upon the counter. It was simply to instill a sense of...knowing upon the hound.

Perhaps later, he'd discover what had come about. But, he certainly wanted his shot at the girl himself...

Seeing that a weapon was pointed upon him, he suddenly held his hands up as if in defense. Fingers spread, his hood fell lower onto his face, hiding his eyes, but not the sudden grin upon his lips. Hopefully, she'd miss that. "Pardon. I didn't mean to frighten you..." He spoke aloud, before replacing his hands upon the counter. "I'm simply in a heated debate with this woman to my side." He then added, turning his attention upon her.

"I'm not sure what you're going on about. I've no idea what on Terra you mean by that." He suddenly barked out, only to silence his voice again. "Truly, it's that easy to discern? Perhaps I need to be more vigilant in stealth..." He crooned with a wide grin.

"And, how could you possibly be of any use to me? Other than a simple figure of flesh to be used on whim. Oh, pardon." He said, a sudden gleam in his vermillion eye. "That may seem a bit redundant." He added, before waving a dismissive hand. "What could you possibly offer me? I highly doubt you'd have any interest in what I've to offer."

Eyes lingered on the female for a moment. She had quite the point. He knew here, well enough he so thought, and realized he may have been sitting on a precious treasure now. "Rabble? I wouldn't considerate rabble. Everyone needs soldiers. It doesn't matter how shoddy, or talented. Each serves a purpose, be it glorified, or simple cannon fodder." He mentioned, in utter silence as to not have his words pass along ears that would take offense.

"And it's a shame you found me, but obviously. There is an underlying connection. And don't you deny it." He said with a wry grin. And truthfully, there was. Fate would deem the two to constantly encounter one another, just as fate deemed he encounter the many he does again and again, without mercy.

"Should I allow you such pleasure, I'd surely be making a mockery of myself. You see. I need to know loyalty, and allegiance. One of your caliber could be so rightly clever as to inject yourself in whilst having alterior motives." He suddenly said with a grin.

He wasn't completely daft. There were certainly such things as spies, and the like. Those who'd pose as a potential ally and then upset the scene completely by turning out to be a sham in disguise.

Adjusting his sights towards the departing figures. He figured business was to be had now. Turning his sights upon Kianna, a coy smile tugged at his lips. "Very well. I've asked the wrong question. But, it's not to be asked here. Come with me. I have business to attend to." He spoke out, reaching out to clasp her hand in his. Quite a far cry from the persona that lingered under the hood, but one meant to baffle the many outsiders that saw what they saw.

"Things will progress up stairs. And I shall make it utterly clear as to what is going to happen. You shall listen. And if you do not like what you hear, you may very well be on your way." He spoke, finding his way to the stairs. With haste, he chose to ascend them, removing himself from the bar, and hopefully her as well.

"I'll flesh out further details once we reach the other two. I'm sure you've got your interesting suspicions and curious theories as to why I'm acting as I am. I can assume it would seem to you very, very, unlike me." His voice echoed throughout the upper stairwell as he moved to open the door to the roof. "But I have my methods to this madness."

Without another passing second, the door burst to life, swinging open to slam into the adjacent wall. As the figure, swaddled in obsidian garb, slowly settled amidst the other two, his lingering gaze passed amongst each of them. Yes, to those with superior, haughty, persona's, this simple collection of individuals would appear to be meek, and pitiful, but Kazura had grown in his years on Terra. Each individual had their intended use.

Each were essentially a specific tool in his eyes. With their proper jobs and places.

"Perfect. I should have assumed you'd bring her to me. Interesting how we seem to think alike." The figure mentioned from beneath the hood of his attire. Turning toward Kianna, the figure motioned for her to join them. "As far as I can tell, there are none capable of eavesdropping onto this. Not even Vidious' guild of Assassin's. This pleases me." He spoke out, before suddenly ripping back his hood and removing the jaw piece that concealed the lower portion of his face.

Kazura's eyes then trained back upon Rose for a single moment. "I've overheard your distaste for that Randin figure. If I didn't know any better, I'd assume you'd wish him dead, hn?" He said with a rather malicious hint of amusement in his voice. His head then turned back toward Kianna. "As for you. You wish to join simply for the calamity involved, is this correct? Fine. But, if you have other ties, I'd suggest you sever them. There are many that shall soon become opposition. The Aschen. The Terran Militia. Any and all who'd seek to dig their noses into this..."
