History
Annabeth, as you expect, was brought up in a single parent family. Her parents split when she was young, her young mother leaving to explore the world. She remained with her father, an overpaid business man. Annabeth has always been a spoilt brat, getting anything she wants due to her fathers long absences and 'difficult' childhood. She is used to getting anything and everything she wants, and has never really heard the word no.
Now, at the age of 17, she is 6 and a half months pregnant. People judge, yes. Teenage mom - it was a mistake. They'd judge even more if they knew that the father was a married man. A family friend and her teacher, him and his wife had gone on holiday with them on their family holiday. The two weeks there, Annabeth and the childs father rarely saw the sea, spending almost all their time in bed together. The affair was cut at the end of the holiday, along with all ties when they moved to Claifornia. No one ever found out, and her father, although furious, allowed her to keep the child. She kept up the facade that she didn't know who the father was, and luckily her father wasn't around to do the math. She has since learned the father is divorced after his wife 'faked' a pregnancy in order to save their marriage.
