Anouk Echeverri smiled outside the door, looking up at it with a slight bit of gumption rumbling in her petite belly, willing her to go inside and explore.
Meet new people.
Find new faces.
She gave the door a fierce tug, running inside before it closed on her. Anouk looked around, her jaw dropping as her eyes adjusted to everyone's faces, all of them so different...
Quickly, she began strolling toward the bar, hoping to get something warm or sweet. Biting at her lip she began to ponder by herself, should she go up to the people, or do they come up to her?
Or... Are they too shy, just like her, to even approach anyone?
Is anyone else having the same dilemma?
She pondered aimlessly, twiddling her thumbs as she gazed around nervously.
What was she to do?

Anouk Echeverri heard the gunshot, the wild speaking between two bar attenders, she held herself tightly. Her braids falling out of place, running down to just below her breast instead of behind her back in an out-of-the-way fashion.
Anouk turned her head slightly to see the scene opening, a wolf man and... Someone who looked like he knew what a war was.
She grimaced at the thought of bloodshed, especially the first night she came through.
Now that she was thinking about it, the rusty smell of blood did linger a bit in this room... Had there been many fights before?
Anouk shivered almost violently with fear, her heart sinking as she turned around and ordered a quick cocktail, slurping it down heavily.
She had no idea how to fight... So if she were to even think of joining in, or in that matter, being dragged in... She'd be totally useless and scared out of her bones.
Biting at her lip nervously, she shut her eyes, trying to make the noise and heat go away.

Anouk Echeverri looked over at Asterid, surprised as what she saw... What a beautiful tail! She thought to herself, almost squealing like a pig at the sight of this beautiful woman.
She hunched over her purse, pulling out a small packet of pain pills and slid it across the bar to her and smiling daintily, maybe this woman could be her first friend?
A slam of the door then revealed a new person... Dani.
She looked quite interesting also! Biting at her fingernail, she stared at Dani for a moment, then spoke out, "Want to sit down and drink with me?" The loud voice emitting from her lips didn't sound like her own... Which she truthfully hadn't heard in quite a while.
But she gave a gleaming smile, and patted the stool next to her, fixing her braids.

Anouk Echeverri glanced over at Asterid smiling and nodding daintily, "You're so welcome! You sure did look like you needed it." She spoke softly, knowing that whenever her father had a hangover that he would like everyone to be as silent as possible.
Anouk looked into her bag, "D-Do you need anything else? I sure got a lot of stuff in here, I may just have something that you might need." She giggled, her bright eyes becoming even brighter.
When Dani sat down she gasped and looked over frantically then smiling, "You... You look so pretty without that coat, why do you wear it if it will only conceal you?" She asked, her French accent think.
Anouk then felt a slight sense of... Feeling a bit out of the loop, she was the most regular girl you could ask for. Brown hair, hazel eyes, creamy skin. She felt inadequate sitting next to such a beautiful woman.
"My name is Anouk." She introduced.

Anouk Echeverri giggled at how excited Asterid sounded over her silly little French Accent.
She looked over, playing with her cocktail glass, "Yes. I am from France. I'm actually only here to find a man to marry, my parents say I'm ready, and so they taught me English and sent me here to Wing City! I just arrived a day ago, and I've settled into my hotel." She explained, using obscene hand gestures that didn't exactly match what she was saying.
Anouk kicked her feet a tad bit, asking the bartender, "A cocktail for me, the cherry one, and my friend... Dani will have?" She left the sentence open, for Dani to finish.
When she played with the contents of her bag, some yarn and knitting needles shoved out onto the ground, showing what she was working on earlier. Anouk gasped, scooping it back up in her arms and shoving it back into her large orange purse. Furrowing her brows she fiddled with some other things, fishing out a small case and taking the pill from inside, popping it into her mouth and swallowing it whole.
"I-I'm sorry. I forgot to take that at the correct time so..." She apologized to both of the women, a sheepish smile crossing over her face as her cheeks tinted with pink.

Anouk Echeverri smiled sweetly, "Oh please, no envy! I am so very jealous of people with American accents, most don't even understand me... It is so bothersome." She complained a little, a small huff and pout escaping her.
Anouk bowed her head graciously when she was welcome to Wing City, "Thank you very much, Asterid, Right? It'd be terrific if you could help me find some things around, my hotel is right down the side walk." She chuckled, warming up to this odd woman.
She then turned back to Dani and the bartender, being stuck in a dumbfounded state now... O positive? She furrowed her brows, "Is that some sort of... Alcohol?" She guessed, then seeing a blood bag escape from underneath the bar.
Anouk shivered, staring at it, and willing it to go away, the bartender served it to Dani and then poured Anouk her own cocktail.
She shakily picked up the glass, shivering as she took a sip and put it back down, "S-S-So you drink blood?" She tried to sound interested, but failed and sounded like she was scared out of her dress.

Anouk Echeverri shook even more violently at the thought of Dani biting her, she cringed and seized her fingers around her shoulders, trying to keep herself calm. Tears gathered in her eyes, "Th-That... That isn't very nice, to scare someone l-like this." She whimpered, trying to keep herself from screaming and sobbing, and or holding onto Asti for dear life.
Which she then failed at, hugging onto Asti and crying onto her shoulder, shaking like a brittle leaf.
Her soft heart just couldn't take this! She cried a bit harder, gasping for air every once in a while and tightened up quickly.
Dani had succeeded in scaring Anouk to her half wits end, how mean!

She then slowly creeped up to the window of the restaurant and watched the officer. She didn't want to be seen, she would hide in the alley when he came out and until he left.
