a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Ponats

Description

Age: 17. Appears in twenties.

Eyes: Green/Gray eyes. Not quite hazel, but tint in a dark, dull green.

Hair: Mid-back crimson hair. The hair is tied back in a pony tail to prevent the hair from getting in her face.

Height: 5' 7": She is not the tallest person, but she is not too short where it effects her in day to day activities.

Weight: 129 lbs: She is not too light. Her body is not an elegant figure but mostly massed in muscle. Her tone is light.

Facial /Body Structure: She is only slightly small in height, but she it slightly broad. Most of her body in composed of very concentrated muscle mass, so her muscles do not budge out more than the normal fit human. This makes her look like someone who is built for dexterity and agility.

Her face shows a more stoic appearance, usually expressionless when she is not interacting with anyone. This changes a little when she starts to warm up to the person she talks to. When with complete strangers, her face tends to stay stoic.

Her general structure looks like a feminine guy or a manly girl. With her clothing and style of hair, it seems more guy like. Her voice does not help people distinguish if a male or female, leaving some people thinking Archer is androgyny like.

Personality

Archer can be explained by one thing. A very over protective person. When she decides something needs to be defended, she will lay her life on the line to defend it. If she has nothing to defend, she prefers to run then actually last them out. Archer does not like to kill people, but is not afraid to do it. If a job came down to killing someone, she would.

Archer does not wear her emotions, instead keeping them hidden from the world. Archer can easily get risen up when she, or someone she likes, gets insulted. She has been known to be rude and will occasionally push her opinion on others, whether asked for it or not.

Author's note: Archer's personalty changes based more towards the person she is guarding then any other factor.

Equipment

Archer wears leather scale mail armor, which is typically a metal type of armor. Instead, the scales are harden leather pieces that were woven in for mobility. Underneath she has a white shirt and brown pants, held with a brown cloth belt. To cover her armor, she wears a brown full cloak. The cloak completely covers her whole body, allowing only anything to be hidden (as long as it does not stick out). The cloak has a hood, but she keeps it down unless it is raining. She wears leather gloves to protect her hands. A thicker costume over her armor when it gets colder. Her walking boots are long, going up her shins. They are buckled a few times for a snug fit.

Her chest is wrapped with bandages, (which wasn't much cleavage there anyways) so she has a flat chest in appearance. Her clothing gives off a boyish tone, allowing most people to assume she is a guy.

Archer carries other traveling equipment. She carries basic survival supplies and outdoor equipment, like a knife, fishing hooks, vials, etc. She has a small pack, that ties around her waste and is supported by both shoulders. At first look, it looks mostly empty, but that is because most of the stuff inside, falls right to the bottom of the bag. She carries food and drink inside as well. She does not carry a sleeping bag, preferring other methods of sleep. In her right hand she carries a longspear like weapon, she uses it as a walking stick when traveling.

Author's note: She will sometimes carry things vital for her partner if she has one.

History

Archer, as referred as Aelia, grew up in a small village out in the far reaches of many kingdoms and conflict. It was near the edge of mountains, in the middle of a dense forest. Whether a kingdom or high lord controlled the area did not matter, they hardly got travelers or merchants.

Aelia lived on top of a hill, with her family. A mother, a father, and a younger brother. A small house at the edge of the town. Her father was a miller.

The village had always been mostly peaceful, till one day the soldiers started showing up. Aelia was too young to understand, only being near 13 at the time. But the soldiers were there to hunt, something. Searching for them in the area of where the village was. During that time, her father fell ill, so a lot of the work was placed on Aelia from lack of help.

On the way back from errands in town, Aelia heard noises in the woods. Deciding to let curiosity take her lead, she jogged thru the woods to the sounds. It sounded like muffled blacksmiths hammers' hitting hot iron on an anvil. Once she got close enough, the sounds stopped and horses could be heard riding off. What Aelia found was shocking.

A field of recently dead, bodies, weapons, and blood scattered everywhere. Most of the victims in traveling clothing. What the hunters were after? Perhaps. In the wreckage, Aelia found an alive girl. One no older than herself, laying on the ground injured from an arrow. Aelia did only thing she could think of. Took the girl to somewhere safer, a cave she knew about.

Aelia could not explain her actions. Like why she did not take the girl home or take her to town. She only felt a strange vibe, telling her that was a bad idea. So Aelia instead took care of the girl. She was sickly and never seemed to be recovering from the wound. Aelia tried feeding her, talking to her, helping her, but nothing seemed to work.

A few days had past and Aelia was returning with more food, intended to force feed the girl if she had to. When she got to the cave, she found the mutilated corpse of the girl. And one of the villagers there smiling with a bloody knife beside him. Aelia knew what happened and did not understand. In anger, she grabbed the knife and stabbed the man. He did not see it coming, not realizing Aelia would stab him for an action he considered 'good.' After that day, Aelia fled the village, never returning to her home or family.

Changing her appearance to a guys and calling herself Archer, Arc to friends. She joined a young mens' militia group, letting her train to be a fighter. Her weapon of choice became evident to be a longspear. Ironic to her name, she never took up archery. When she found out that the group was going to go fight in a war, she a walled. She was afraid of death and afraid to no longer be free.

In Archer's travels, she became good at doing odd jobs. Jobs like protecting caravans and small mercenary work. She was not much a fighter, her strength lying in keeping her opponents at a distance and giving quick stabs behind an ally. She was not built for close quarters combat as much, relying on range from her weapon.

So begins...

“ Archer passed into the bar, trying to go in unnoticed. It was really not her business that two people were fighting up front, nor was it her business in this town. She simply wanted to get in and out. She was wanted after all. She shook her head as she wandered to the back, armor clicking as she moved. Even tho she had this androgyny feel to her, it wasn't the most typical thing about her. It was the coffin. Laid on her back was a a coffin that could fit a young child in it. And it was full. It was the most defining quality for her, other than her leather scale like armor, longspear in her other hand, and loner attitude. She shifted herself to the back of the bar, trying to avoid anyone here. ”

“ It didn't matter too much for her. She did observe the 'bounty hunter' enter however. No subtlety at all, she put her eyes back down and went back to her own meal that she had merely just ordered. A hearty meal that would help her on her journey. Her 'wanted' poster would be hard to identify. She was younger when she murdered that man. Also, she was a female in the poster. Her male appearance now would throw them off. They would really have to know about her to understand, but the coffin The coffin could raise suspicion. ”

“ Archer eye's did glance at the so called bounty hunter as she moved to the array of lists and pictures. Not too many worries, the faces would be a hard match for her. Not to mention the bounty was low. It might not exist anymore, is has been four years.

She finished her meal without complaint and rose the small coffin to the table. Placing it in one of the chairs gently. Handling it like someone was in said childs' coffin. ”

“ Archer sighed. The long journey had made her tired, but she wanted some mead to help go thru the rest of the day. Or maybe she should go sleep soon? Not a very usual thing for her, she admitted mentally.

The girl, who appeared like a young man, approached the bar that Tabris Ravenswing worked. She had a spear in one hand and a small red oak coffin in the other. Those with an magical sense might get a bad vibe for the coffin. It was small like a child was in it, heavy too... as if there was.

She placed the spear at her side and the coffin into a stool beside. Being gentle with it and placing it upright. She placed an arm on it at all times. More so then her spear.
Barkeep, rich mead please.
She requested lightly. ”

“ The hooded looking man placed some gold on the table as she did not respond any farther. Taking a sip of the mead as she took in the flavor of it. Barrel drink, hardly used was what the taste reminded her of. Her eyes keeping to drink as she checked with her peripherals. The barkeep seemed to change attitudes near her. Well, she was carrying a small coffin. ”

“ Archer mostly drank her mead in piece. It seems the warror was more intimidating to keep the curiosity seekers at bay. Her hood covered her face mostly and her spear quite close to the coffin. The pole leaning on the bar as the coffin took one of the seats. Actually, if one was observe the magical like coffin, they would see fancy carvings and elegant markings. It was a rich one, despite its child like size. ”

“ Archer called the barkeep, Tabris Ravenswing, back over again. She had finished her mead now. She didn't even mind that he was a cat creature. Actually, sometimes she preferred them over her own human race. Less arrogant in her experiences.
More mead please.
She said simply as she placed more coin down.

Right then, a small magical pulse came from the coffin. Anyone with any sort of sense would be able to know it just did. The aura was a bit dark, maybe one could describe 'evil'... if they thought black magic was like that. Archer frowned under her hood, the facial expression recognizable from anyone to her side or front. ”

What do you have to eat here?

After he was done speaking, she shot him a death like gaze. Hostile and angry. The hand that was on the small coffin was now on her spear. Whatever Tabris Ravenswing did, she obviously did not like one bit. ”

“ Archer peers thru the doors of the Bar, checking to make sure that mind attacking cat was no longer a patron of said bar. Occasionally shifting herself to let staring patrons in and out. She made a soft sigh as that seemed not to be the case, her hood covering her hair but not her facial structure. A couple of blade scars on her face, not stopping her dull green eyes from scanning as she entered. A spear in her left hand, used as a walking stick as she adventured forward. Clanking of leather armor under her cloak. And she, appeared more he. No chest to speak of and her features more androgynous.

But the biggest detail, that would catch a few patron eyes, was the small red oak coffin that was held on her back. Loosely stun by a rope that she had over her shoulder, the coffin looked suited for a young girl. Standing no more than four feet tall. Delicate etchings were carved all along the piece, it was pretty fancy at that.

She would not hold in one spot long, approaching the bar where the bartender work ”
