Arden Harrison

A daughter of Zeus, She can control lightning to a certain degree. She's nomadic in a way she doesn't like making connections with people and moves around a lot. She's really only a child, at 17.

Description

Arden really just looks like a normal human. Her height is a little below average, she's 5'4. Her hair is a dark brown and she usually cuts it an inch below the nape of her neck. She messes with it constantly, and never really decides on a look to make her own, sometimes it's up or down, she's even spiked it, but didn't like it. She has dark blue eyes, they really don't attract any attention, most people assume they're just brown because they're dark. She usually wears simple clothes, solid color T shirts, tight jeans, a pair of converse, they're like a uniform to her. She wears fingerless gloves too, and laughs at them all the time because they hardly keep her hands warm, but she needs them, they're her only weapon. Carries around a backpack with nearly everything she needs, money, supplies etc. Is around 17.

Personality

She doesn't dwell on things. Arden has trouble determining if that is a weakness or strength. Her whole goal is to move on, she doesn't even know what she's moving on from, but she always needs to leave somewhere before becoming attached to anyone. She's in all an optimist though, with a hard time dealing with negative things, and is usually reduced to an awkward idiot when someone comes to her to vent or talk about anything bad. When people would vent, she just tries cheering them up, because she doesn't really know what to do otherwise. people don't like Arden for these reasons, they find her sunny disposition completely unbearable. She always a has a grin though.

Equipment

She carries her world on her back. In a backpack. She moves around a lot, so she tries to collect as little as possible. It's just a minimalist Army surplus knapsack, with a dull green brown color. She keeps all the things she needs in there, money, extra clothes, notebooks. She also has peculiar fingerless glove. They were a gift from her father when she decided to start traveling everywhere. When she mimes holding a sword, one appears. it's a silver sword with a black handle, nothing exceptionally grand about it, but it's gotten her out of many sticky situations.

History

Arden grew up normally. She had an overbearing mom, a dad who watched football every Sunday. But when she turned 12, she was attacked by an acephali, a beast with it's face on its chest. She knew about weird things like this, and always saw them before that. She would chalk it up to not sleeping enough the night before, or too much sugar, or some other justification, really she thought she was going crazy. Her mother told her at 14, After Arden again beat a few monsters, why it was happening to her. Arden's father was the lord of the sky, Zeus. She knew that she was a danger to her family, her mother, her father who was now just her step-father, and two little siblings. Arden ran, and she still hasn't stopped running. On her sixteenth birthday she met Zeus for the first time, and he knew that she wouldn't return to the safety of her family. instead Zeus gave Arden the gloves she wears today.
