The second the elevator spun down, the strangest being crawled out.

It was an alien, for sure. One that you'd normally see in an older science fiction movie, with grey skin, a big head, and large, black eyes. It had multiple arms; there were two smaller sprouting from its chest, and four very long ones that it used for travel, climbing along the walls. It gave Patch a narrow-eyed stare.

All too soon, it reached out, then grabbed the boy. "What are you doing here? You're supposed to be preparing for the opening ceremony for when the Terrans come!" it cried irritably, the voice high, but rather androgynous. One of its tiny hands came to its face as it shook its massive head.

"Lets get you with Aretu! She's organizing the entertainment for tonight. What have you been doing, wandering around!?"

The alien reached forth with one hand to smack against Patch's forehead. "Fool! We have the servants for that, and the Fleas! If you need something so small done, you send them." The alien rolled their eyes. "I am Hallin Ema. I am your superior aboard this ship! You follow my orders. Now, as soon as we get to the balcony, find Aretu! We need you!" Hallin argued, frowning with its little mouth at the boy.

"Is that some silly thing you've picked up from the Terrans already? Stop it. It looks ridiculous." said Hallin, concerning his salute. When the door slid open, Hallin Ema scowled again.

"You are not larvae! You can find the way yourself, unless the air here has intoxicated your brain and left you confused! Off with you! Find Aretu! Go!" The alien pointed out, then gave him a light push.

Beyond the lobby, there was yet another large room with a great, clear, domed ceiling. It appeared to be glass, but to withstand the pressure of space, it had to be something much stronger.

As he walked down the balcony, which extended a great ways around the room with eight feet of walking space, he would hear the jingles and jangles of jewelry being shaken and thrown about. A woman in the most marvelous dress, adorned with a trillion colorful rings and charms, bounded toward him, arms out.

"Oh, I'm so glad! Hallin had said he'd found one more! Come, come on!" She reached out to take his hand, grasp it tightly, and pull him in the other direction. "I really appreciate you all giving me the help! We needed the extra people for today!"

"Atreyu? Has some Terran sickness scrambled your memory? Aretu Liiga! Don't stumble over your words next time!" she told him, dragging him into a hallway lined with doors. "We're going to have several shows, maybe one today, and we have to make sure they're impressive! We want as many Terrans and other foreigners to come as possible. We're not helping the war effort by doing nothing!"

She pulled him into a room. It was complete with a dresser, a plethora of wall mirrors, clothing hanging up by a thin railing on the side, and small pots hitched into a desk filled with colored oils and balms lay in front of them.

"We should get you dressed."

Liiga gave Patch a bashful smile. "Oh, there's no need to do that, now. After all, that's already something I know!" She grabbed Patch's shoulders to turn him around, eyes scanning the base of his neck.

There was a long pause.

"Where's the seam?" she asked, brows furrowing. "You don't have one. Your kind usually are Ustelu, aren't they?"

Aretu Liiga's eyes narrowed. "Wait a minute. Yo-"

Just as the two girls burst in, the woman whipped around, staring at them in surprise. Once she had figured out just who it was and sighed in relief. "Oh, it's only you two. Shadow, don't you know your room is upstairs? I understand they may look the same, but this isn't any place to sleep. I was-"

She turned around, looking for the man she had just been speaking to. Her mouth fell open. "Where is he? Oh, Jessica, help me find him! I don't think he's one of ours, but he was dressed like it! A spy!"

There were no air vents, because they were stationed close enough to the Lalitia's lungs that fresh air was in heavy abundance. So, as Shadow found the little spy, and he tried to run past them, he would find himself rather unfortunate.

What one would assume, at first, to be a black whip shot out from underneath her skirts and attempted to curl around Patch's ankle, tugging fiercely to draw him back.

"Good job, Shadow. Now...where do you think you're going, sir?"

The woman smirked. She had a tail. A bony tail with a barb at the end.

Aretu put her hands on her hips, frowning. "It's not leaving today. We need enough interested people to board before we do that, and that will, undoubtedly, happen before the end of the week." she told him. "This ship is going to Misrana, at the Zanzarian port. Our homeworld. If you are so interested in leaving, why not pay the fee? Or work it off. I'll even make you my passenger."

She seemed vaguely pleased at this. "I needed to find one, anyway."

Her eyes darted to Jessica, then to Shadow, who was on the floor. She nodded to the winged necromancer. "You take care of her, Jessica. I have this one."

Shan spoke to Katie in a low voice and a sigh. "Yeah. If you look close at some of the crew, you see they have belts that look like they're made of bone, connected to a knife at the side. They're not really belts. They wind their tails around their waists so they're out of the way and won't cut anyone up by accident."

Sich coughed. "As if it doesn't happen enough when they try to keep them out of the way..."

Entering the theater, the first thing they would see was the lit stage.

It was incredibly massive, dwarfing even the massive whale of a man, Magna Impus, who stood alone in the center with small ovals of lights spinning around him. "Welcome!" the man roared, causing the lights to spin outwards and project his voice to the meager audience. It was only a rehearsal, after all.

The proscenium arch had the carvings of many gorgeous Misranan spirits gathered over it, all from every race, from alulan, human, nunki, narihman, and ustelu, all peeking their head to look, with amazed and excited expressions carved with love into the stone, within the stage. Blue lights lined every seat, and the stage, in strange, but whimsical designs.

"We shall sit in the front," said Helmi, walking all the way down with her arms splayed. Fashionably on time, as always. Lametta kept her stoic strut as she followed.

"Yes," whispered Sich, grinning wide as well. "I'm really excited! Haven't been to one of these in a while."

Just as she finished speaking, Magna Impus spread out his arms toward the audience. "Welcome, citizens of Terra, and otherwise, to the Grand Theater of the Lalitia. Before you will witness the show, I have come here to thank you all for taking the time to visit us on this wonderful cruise liner, and, soon enough, our home planet, Misrana!" With every word, the blue lights floating around him pulsed with every change of volume from Magna's voice.

There was a small, dilapidated round of applause from the meager crowd, which stirred a small laugh from Magna. It was, after all, just a practice. He went on only for another minute before gesturing to the stage behind him. "And now, I present to you, the show in which our very own Aretu Liiga has choreographed and planned!"

He hurriedly waddled offstage, the blue lights spreading and melting into the floor as music began to play in an epic, gradual rise. The sounds of what could only be something akin to a deep trombone and rhythmic drums met their ears, followed by high and delicate voices from behind.

Pouring in from the auditorium doors and from the ceiling were dozens of Alulan women, dressed scantily, but classily in dashing red and blue cloths that twirled about their forms with every movement.

As each of the women pranced on stage, never taking the stairs, but preferring to make jubilant, fluid flips onto the grand, raised floor and landing on their hands instead. They continued to dance down the stage, until they were all lined up and facing the audience. The music reached an energetic climax, where the women all began to sing in words the audience could understand. They reached out their arms off-stage to the onlookers, most pursing juicy blue lips together.

"We...are...glad-!" they began singing, further stretching out until they were hanging from the stage. They offered wide grins and passionate eye-locks with any they came across, "-to have you here! With us you're sure to float in paradise!"

The words were cheesy, something you'd see on Broadway, obviously not looked into with great care, but the way they were sung, with such love, and an overwhelming sense of welcome, it was so easily overlooked.

As Jacob entered, the many strange alien species, ranging from the horned nunki, the alulans, which had long, plated tails that wrapped around their waists as though they were belts, the insectizoid narihman, and the grey, six-armed ustelu roamed freely and peacefully next to all the normal humans. They would cast glances at Jacob and his group only for a moment before going on their business.

Jacob would be greeted with a ship very unlike most he would have likely seen in the past. The inside was bathed in white and gold, much as it had seemed on the outside, though it certainly did not look like they were treading within an organic creature like the plated Frankenstein he viewed before he entered.

Lighting came not from lightbulbs and lamps, but blue veins that ran through the ship, and in liquid fountains that poured from the ceiling into the floor.

With Sich and Magna out of the building to deal with the Supremacy, a woman, dressed similarly to Sich, came into the room, giving the Misranan salute to Phinx.

"I see you had no trouble. I am Aretu Liiga, Deputy Chief. I believe that's the translation for the Terran rankings, in any case. We'll make sure you make it out of here safe and sound, Miss Phinx."

Back on the Lalitia, no one would have believed she was who she was. Undercover as the exotic dancer of Zanzaria, those responsible for the bombings didn't get far under her watch.

"Miss Munroe, then." A strange name, in her opinion. Phinx sounded much more normal. "We have several ships being prepared to accompany you back to Terra."

She offered a short flare to Jacob. She did not have to come in contact with him often, but what she knew about him irked her. She was glad he was being carried off of the planet. "If you would like a gag, we have some very intriguing options. Stuffing a live palip down someone's throat usually does the trick."

A small smile appeared on Liiga's face.

"There'll be one on board. Please follow me." She turned and began to walk off, outside of the City Hall, where their ride was waiting for them. They would then arrive at the Spaceport shortly thereafter...if nothing went wrong.

Coming back to the port, Aretu Liiga lead Phinx and her team back to their ship. Supremacy had mostly left the port, with the exception of a few scattered ships. Ascending to the air above were a few Zanzarian ships, with the steely blue logo on both sides.

"Those will be your Escort Ships. Until next time, Miss Munroe. If there will be one." said Liiga.

"They should be here-" Sich was not allowed to finish as shadows hovered above, answering her question.

Scyphozoa were versatile, excellent medical units that were both gentle and precise. They carried a distinct resemblance to the jellyfish they were named from, with a hard shell as the cap and transparent tendrils hanging below. They hovered down toward Essie and Aenanu cautiously. Behind them hovered a more humanoid figure standing atop a vehicle that resembled a manta ray with feathers. She was clad in a tight combat suit, but she was not armed.

She hopped off into the ship with the Scyphozoa, trying to get close enough to administer care to Essie.

"Aretu..." sighed Sich. "Well, at least it wasn't anyone worse." She looked towards Thunder. "Thank you."

She froze as Sharar snapped his sights onto her. The woman's fingers twitched toward her weapon. Shan came to her side, but he was more useless than she would ever be.

"We're bound by an android organism. It's connected to our nervous system and is part of our immune system. You can't get rid of it or we die. I guess our biology isn't much different to other species. We have limbs and blood. If we lose our blood we can die too." Aenanu told the other alien that had turned up.

Essie was bleeding on the back of her head and her leg. She was already paler than normal. Her brown lines that covered her cody seemed to be glowing, working on trying to keep their source alive so that they didn't die either - the android organisms.

When Aenanu saw someone else around, he glanced at them and then back to the winged alien, waiting for a translation for who it was. When they told him that it was the medic to treat Essie, only then he'd take a step back to let them help his sister.

Thunder nodded to Aenanu and motioned to the medics,"Alright, they're the medical personnel."

When the medics were close enough, Thunder spoke to them next, explaining as much as she could,"This one is pregnant with twins ans seems to have several lacerations, the worst of which are on her head and leg. Probable concussion, considerable blood loss, and possibilities of other complications are evident." She motioned lightly at the spot on Essie's leg that Thunder had bound to help hold off the bleeding, as well as the back of Essie's head, which Thunder was manually applying pressure to,"Also they have a symbiotic android organism which must not be removed or damaged, as its wired into their nervous system. Right now its all that's keeping this poor girl alive."

Thunder was hesitant to leave Essie's side, but she wasn't actually a medical doctor, and besides, there was no profit to be had in all this. On the other hand, the scientist in her screamed for more information on the species, and a thirst for knowledge, just for knowledge's sake,"The male here is her brother, so he should be allowed to stay with her at least."
