Aria Azgoroth

"Is it hot in here or is it just me? Oh, its me....sorry about the fire."

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by fish-with-a-knife

Description

Aria Azgoroth

Aliases: The Red Elf, The Dragon Blacksmith, The Blood ElfImage

Physical Description: In her elven form, Aria is somewhat short, at a mere 5' tall, with a slim frame. Her skin is pale and her hair is dark, making her look much like her mother did. Her eyes retain the look of molten lava, however, and the scent of burning metal seems to surround her. She always wears red, and would rather go nude than wear anything without a large amount of red on it (and once did). In her dragon form she is still small for a dragon, but this means that she is 20' long, so it would hardly count as small. In her dragon form, her scales are a bright crimson, with the edges of her wings, her feet, and the tip of her tail having a mottled black pattern as if they were burned. In both forms she carries herself in a graceful yet cocky manner.
Species: Moon Elf/Red Dragon (think D&D)

Personality: Aria is brash, egotistical, greedy, stubborn, and has a short temper. This is offset by the fact that when she cares about someone, she is loving, loyal, and steadfast. She never breaks a promise if she can help it, and has been known to fix armor and weapons for free, if she believes someone has potential.

Equipment: Aria is armed with a longsword known as Bahamut's Nail, forged to slay evil dragons, but she only uses it because it had belonged to her adopted father, she also uses a great axe holding it in her off hand, which is nearly unbreakable (this doesn't mean it can cut though anything). She also carries a bow, and a quiver of steel-tipped arrows. Aside from weapons, Aria has a bag of holding, in which she stores all the tools needed to forge and repair anything made from metal, as well as some refined ores with which to make things. She also carries her horde in this bag, and adds to the collection as often as possible.
Abilities: As a dragon, Aria is immune to fire, and has an innate understanding of magic. She doesn't use active magics, however, instead using her abilities to enchant arms and armor. She also has the ability to breathe fire, and has refined control over the temperature and amount of fire she can produce. She rarely uses this in combat, again, reserving it for smithing. She retains her dragonic strength in her elven form, though she cannot fly, or use her refined senses, though she can switch between elf and dragon forms at will.

History: Child of an elven thief and a red dragon of the typical sort, she was the result of business and pleasure being mixed, as her mother would often play the damsel in distress, only so that her father could devour whoever came to rescue her. Aria was orphaned when the draconic demon, Phaeros, killed the scheming pair, claiming that their offspring was unclean. She was hidden by her mother, in a last ditch effort, and found by an elven ranger. Joran, the ranger, raised Aria as his own, ignoring warnings of a prophecy that told of the child bringing ruin in her wake. He trained her as a ranger, while she spent much of her time in a nearby centaur village where she learned metalcrafting. Upon Aria's 19th birthday, Phaeros finally found her, slaying Joran, who would not reveal Aria's true location. This event sent Aria to travel the world outside the forest that she grew up in, eventually studying with dwarven blacksmiths until Phaeros struck again. Again, Aria was sent to wander, until she became a leader of a barbaric band of warriors, pillaging the land until the army was destroyed, leaving the now so-called "Red Elf" alone yet again. She then added to her infamy by becoming a well-known thief and bandit, eluding capture for decades. She was finally "captured" by the dragon Mytokideazerith, and bore him six children. During this time, the couple assisted the building of Neolantis, guarding over the city for a time. Several centuries later, Mytoki disappeared during battle with the Red Death, only to later send divorce papers to the despairing Aria. This sent her to wander yet again, aimless and heart-broken.

So begins...

The short, unassuming woman shoved open the restaurant door with a little more force than needed, causing it to slap against the wall next to it with a thump. She glanced around as if daring anyone to give her a second glance, but for the most part she wasn't even given a first glance, so the silent threat was pretty empty. The scent of something burning seemed to surround the elf, though it was indistinct, like a hot iron, or the coil of a heater, hot metal without fire or smoke. Her long black hair was tied into a loose bun, though most of if had worked its way free hanging in disarray, and tucked behind her ears. She wore no makeup, but her features were smooth and light, in the fine angles usually found on the fair folk. Her eyes were her most striking feature, the color of molten lava, and catching the light in such a way that they seemed to glow. She was dressed in all reds, from the bright geranium of her well-fit top, to the darker blood hues of her boots and pants, which seemed to be of an unidentified leather. Her movements seemed to be out of place, however, as instead of the elven grace that one would expect, she grumped about as if she were a grizzled mechanic or trucker.

Aria scowled at the waitress that greeted her, expression softening a beat later,"Ah, yes. Just me. First question though, do you serve eggnog here?"

The waitress seemed mildly confused by the request but nodded,"We serve pretty much anything you can think of, ma'am."

"Perfect."

Aria was seated in a booth by a large window that gave a nice view of the street outside, as well as a decent view of the door. The lone elf ordered herself just as she had asked at the start, an eggnog, and settled herself to think over things as she waited.

The term elderly gentleman could have been applied to Ol' Bones. He was dressed like a gentleman, in a fine suit with a white vest under a black tailcoat and with a fine top hat to polish it off right down to a bow tie. He even held himself like an elderly gentleman, shoulders slightly hunched as he hobbled about on a cane which clacked against the floor loudly. Yes, he could have been an elderly gentlemen were it not for the fact he was dead. A skeleton, in fact, hence the name.

Some nights he was a force to be reckoned with, a terrifying specter clad in dirty, ripped black cloth leaping from rooftop to rooftop with the intent to kill for pay, trying to satisfy a vengeance he would never reach. But days like this? Ah...

He wobbled his way down the restaurant until he was inline with the Elven lady, where he bowed his head and tipped his hat. His jaw pulled tight into what was no doubt meant to be a smile, or maybe a grimace. "Excuse me, but might you indulge an old man going on his days journey with some conversation?" An odd request perhaps, but friendly enough in tone, which seemed to come from his throat despite no movement of his mouth.

The red elf's mouth hung open for a moment as a gentleman of the thinnest sort that Aria had ever laid eyes upon decided to ask her for polite conversation. She quickly snapped her jaw shut before the expression could be considered rude, clearing her throat as she quickly resettled her composition. Since when was it normal for the dead to just walk around wearing tailcoats and carrying canes? Then again, she had to admit she was still getting used to the city in general, and a polite skeleton was definitely much better company than the charred corpse she had left in an alley an hour before. The punk had deserved it for grabbing her, though.

Aria motioned lightly to the seat across the table from her, her expression switching from confusion to cheerful welcome in an instant,"I don't mind at all, I'd hardly be a proper dragon if I refused the chance for an interesting chat with an interesting chap. And feel free to call me Aria, mister......" She left the invitation for a name to be filled in, as she sat up a little, decidedly intrigued by the stranger.

The waitress set a tall glass of a creamy liquid in front of the elven woman, and blinked at the skeleton, though the poor girl has probably seen worse. She was a native to Wing, after all,"Ah, can I get you something to drink as well, sir?"

With a slow creaking he managed to take a seat opposite her before resting his cane against his thigh and the floor. "Ah, it feels good to get off my feet," he said with a nod as the waitress caught his attention. "Hm? Oh no I'm fine young miss, unless you have some oil for me old joints, but otherwise I will manage, hmhm!" he chuckled, only to return his skull towards his present company.

"My eyes or ears must be getting old, but I could have sworn you said you were a dragon. You hardly look the part! Certainly not as bad as my wife ever was," he joked in a cheery tone as he took his hat off of his dull pale skull and rest it in his lap. "Ah but it is pleasant to meet you Aria. I had a name once, but I seem to have forgotten it with age, so you may call me Ol' Bones if you like, or something else. There's no harm in a good nickname and its probably better than anything I could come up with, hmhm!" he chuckled again. Occasionally his jaw would move, as if he was speaking, but it seemed to be a more conscious effort than actual requirement to speak.

"Well, half, to be technical, but I'd like to think I stay true as one can, to that heritage. Besides, its not all that uncommon for dragons to assume a...people-friendly form." Aria took a small sip of her drink and gave a happy sigh,"Pyron be praised. I didn't think there was a joint on this wretched dirt ball that served proper beverages."

The waitress nodded lightly at Bones, asking if Aria wanted to order anything to eat. The red elf ordered what sounded like a listing of general meats, all "Lightly braised", with the chef's choice of seasoning. Once the waitress took her leave, Aria turned her full attention back to the skeletal gentleman before her,"Old Bones, huh? Seems as good a name as any, since a name's really just a way to know who's attention is trying to be gained in the first place."

She leaned forward, resting her elbows on the tabletop, and tried to pick up what she could of the skeleton's scent. In this form she wouldn't get anything more than the average human would, but the habit was there anyways,"So, are you a native to this city, or are you just passing though, like myself? Personally, I'm from somewhere a bit more crowded, and a bit more orderly. I don't think I've seen a single law enforcer since I've popped in here..." She rolled her eyes to punctuate the statement, as she gave a touch of thought to places where there seemed to be a cop on every corner.

This question took some thought for a moment, one skeletal finger tapping on his lower jaw as his head tilted upwards and he stared into the air. "Native? Oh, I suppose I was some thirty or more years ago." He shrugged, then suddenly lent forward and announced, "Then I died!" He broke into a mad cackle, perhaps a little too enthusiastic, but it was just a joke. He rocked back in his chair again, head tilted slightly downwards so the corners of his mouth seemed 'raised' but it was just a trick of the eye.

"Ah, but the law is all about. And if they're not there's always some friendly folks around to help. Like Ol' Bones, the best skeleton in town to know. If you get yourself a pickle, give him a ring and he'll come a'running, hmhm!" He couldn't help that amused chuckle. "If I can pass on one thing I've learned then let it be this; it's not what you know, but who you know. And Ol' Bones knows a great deal of people, girly." He gave a couple of nods as if to affirm his point.

"So what brings you to this, ah, 'wretched dirt ball' that I call home?" He didn't seem to have taken any offence at the words. If anything, he sounded amused.

Ol' Bone's joke seemed to be lost on Aria, who only raised an eyebrow in an amused expression. It was like watching an old man tell a story that didn't make too much sense, but was clearly hilarious by his own experience. She guessed she had to be there. She did allow a small smile and even a chuckle, but it was more at the the scene of a laughing, meatless, old man than anything. Something about the whole thing struck her as funny. He settled down again, quickly enough, and Aria held only her amused smirk in the end.

He informed her that there was in fact, law enforcement, though she guessed one had to pay for that sort of thing. Or know the right people at least. "Girly, huh? Well judging by your fantastic sense of humor and snappy dressing, I'll assume you're not the usual garden-variety shambling undead. In fact, for a guy with no flesh, you're a pretty spry old guy."

She paused at the question, as she hadn't even considered her words to be offensive even to a native, after all, as far as she was concerned, anywhere she couldn't get a proper drink was as good as burnt. She shrugged lightly with another sip of eggnog,"Wandering mostly. Back home a few people seem to be all hot and bothered about the space in this area, so I thought I'd come see for myself. They say there's nothing new under the sun, and so far as I can tell, the cliché still rings true. Besides, I thought maybe I'd offer new folks the chance to witness the might and glory of a true red dragon, or at least some proper metalcraft. I'm not knocking these fancy alloys, but it seems like no one knows the value of pride in their work."

She huffed, taking her own turn to sound like an old person before hiding her face in her drink again,"Kids these days."

"Spry? Aha!" he laughed with a rattle of his body, "Well I did try to stay fit in my younger years. Must be finally paying off." He gave a small tug on his tailcoat around his shoulders where it hung loosely. But as she talked he lent forward, head seeming neutral in expression (though it was hard enough to read to begin with), nodding at points he agreed and understood before he finally gave off, "Ahhh..." a sigh of knowing. "Pride? You won't find much pride around here. No honour amongst thieves and all that, they say!"

Suddenly his bony hand curled into a fist and thumped against his ribcage twice. "Oh," he groaned, "I think I have a bit of indigestion. Awful." He gave a small shudder and a start and then-!
Bright coloured flowers of all different kinds flew up his throat, right through the empty bit of his jaw and out of a now gaping mouth. "Blaaah!" he called, like it was his tongue and so she could examine his throat. Slowly he plucked them from his mouth and placed them on the table, neat and trim, head now swiveling about on his spine until he spotted a glass of water on a nearby table to slip the fauna into. "Awful awful, hmhm!" he chuckled in amusement. "I wonder how they got there."

Aria could only stare as her undead companion suddenly became a colorful chiapet, much to his discomfort. She had never heard of that sort of thing happening to any necromancer, let alone anything animated by the spell-slingers of that sort. Ususally if something went wrong, it didn't look like the silly antics of a grandfather magician putting on a show for toddlers. The abrupt flowers were placed into someone's water, as Ol' Bones settled himself down, and the red elf had to chug the rest of her drink to keep from dissolving into a fit of girlish laughter. She had to admit the whole thing was quite comical.

Once both the skeleton and the half dragon were settled enough for polite conversation, Aria had to ask, though it was impossible to keep the brunt of her amusement from her tone,"So that sort of thing happen to you a lot, or am I just lucky enough to witness the rare blooming of the senex florum?" She gave some thought, and glanced around to see where the waitress had gotten to, since her glass was now empty. Lacking a refill, Aria's eyes moved back to Ol' Bones,"Might mean that you're not animated by necromancy at all. Though I have to say, this isn't exactly my area of expertise. I deal with armaments and armor only."

"Necromancy? Fah, no such new-fangled fancy magic!" he insisted, giving a tug of his bowtie to straighten it once more. "Ahh, but no, I was brought back by good old fashioned science." He gave a tap of his chest around where the heart was. "But I wouldn't say bringing back the dead has no magic to it." He looked up to the air thoughtful for a moment. "I can remember," he mumbled, "That I used to be in charge of a big power company. I can't remember what sort of man I was, just that I never had any time for anything but business. So good at my job, I was, they had to put me down."

His head tilted level once more, righting his jawline so it no longer appeared to be frowning. "'Course, I was pretty happy to lie there for a while, but I guess something about all that happened just didn't settle quite right with me, so..." With a small gesture of grasping an edge and lifting his head up like a mime he continued, "I climbed up out of my grave, heart beating strong, only to find nobody decided to wait for Ol' Bones."

He fell sullenly quiet, voice now just a mumble. "I'd been... Twenty... eight years in the grave." His shoulders rose and fell in a silent, breathless sigh as his head turned down slightly. "I guess the world just didn't have time for me. You youngin's... Just move so fast, hmhm," he chuckled softly, "So nowadays I take the time to appreciate this second blessing that life has given me to do well to others, until I can settle whatever problems keep me clinging to this world."

"Ah! But enough of my old problems!" he insisted almost as if trying to dismiss it all, "I'm happy. I have a comfortable job that takes care of my very few needs and gives me plenty of spare time to go around and enjoy whats important in life, like feeding the birds."

Aria snorted in amusement at the dismissal of necromancy as 'new-fangled' and 'fancy', though she couldn't help but feel a touch nostalgic. She very unfortunately allowed the old man to ramble on, and she had to wonder if he had a beard when he was alive. Possibly? She imagined him with a beard anyways as he explained how he came to be a wandering bag of bones, without the bag, of course. However despite all her bravado and sarcasm, she couldn't help but feel for the creaky old skeleton, and frowned visibly, even feeling a little of...what was that? Shame? Regret? It had been a long time since she had considered such things, and they left a sting that Aria was quick to shove back to the back of her mind and under the layers of ego and violence where they belonged.

Luckily Ol' Bones seemed to brighten up as well, mentioning feeding birds. Wait.

"So you carry bird seed? Like, in your pocket? Maybe even in your breast pocket in your jacket?" She pointed at her own chest to emphasize the point, and had a feeling that she might know where those flowers had come from.

He seemed to catch on quickly, raising a hand to his left breast pocket. "Over here? What a silly place to carry birdseed! I'd be chased and harrassed by birds all day!" He patted the pocket. "However..." There was a thump beneath the table and a sound of escaping seeds scattering on the floor, his head tilting straight down to look under the table edge. "Oops," he said, followed by an amused chuckle. "Okay, you've got me." He leaned over and tilted his head. "I carry it in my rib cage."

And, well, he did. Why use pockets when he had a large cavity of which to store things. Like the bag of birdseed which had just slipped past his pelvic bones and done his pants-leg to the floor. "Maybe some day, if you have time to spare on an old fool, I could show you the best places to find birds."

Aria snickered at the sound of scattering seeds,"How long have you kept those things in there, Gramps? No wonder you have flowers sprouting out of your mouth."

It was about that time that the table was filled with plates upon plates of different meats, dripping with juices, and in some cases, different sauces. The half-dragon grinned brightly at the feast fit for a family of lots, and nodded lightly to the waitress as she carefully fit all the plates on the table, with an apology to Ol' Bones. Aria, however, didn't apologize, but rather dug into the meal, even cracking open bones to eat the marrow. She wasn't sure if she should offer or not, however, since obviously anything the old skeleton ate would just stain his clothes. Instead, Aria opted to continue with the small talk, speaking between bites.

"So what exactly is it you do, anyways? Advertise for chiropractors? Teach biology classes? Pose nude for painters?"

Had Old Bones peppers who would have been shocked at the eating speed of the girl. Her appetite and enthusiasm was admirable. He gave a hearty chuckle at her jokes, raising one finger and thumb to brush his chin at a beard that wasn't there. "Ooh," he rasped, "Well now, I work down at the local store, stocking the shelves or filling bags. It's very mundane and its only some afternoons, but its enough to keep an old-timer like me cared for."

"How's lunch?" he asked, now slipping a hand inside his coat before withdrawing a wallet and opening it up. There were a few ratty looking notes in there, but the wallet, like his clothes, looked well off. He clearly had at least a little pride for his appearance, even if he was dead. "Ah, but I think I'll have to be off soon. My shows are going to come on and I'd hate to miss them."

Aria paused to wave passively at the wallet,"You didn't even get anything, I'll pay for my own lunch, thanks." She swallowed what she was chewing, which had cracked and crunched loudly before being devoured, so that she could wipe her hands clean and offer a handshake to Ol' Bones. She was luckily pretty clean, despite the nature of her meal, so there was no danger of her getting the poor skeleton covered in anything sticky.

"It was nice to meet you, Old Bones, I'm sure our paths will cross again. After all, you have to show me where the best spots to feed birds are, right?"

Aria was actually shocked at her own lack of sarcasm, though it didn't show. Honestly she was tired and lonely, and she was starting to think maybe she had an idea what the old guy was rambling on about. Some of it at least. She has the feeling that maybe he was a little more inclined to rambling than her. In any event, she had extended the invitation for an actual friendship, merely because of a chance meeting.

"Besides, I have to thank you for giving me a little hope for this area. i was beginning to think there was no such thing as civility in these parts."

Ol' Bones gave a tip of his head and a friendly shake of his hand (which was just bone with as much strength as you'd expect from an average man). "No no, I insist," he answered, reaching for some cash once his hand was freed from hers, "After all, what am I going to spend it on? Food? Smokes? Women? Hmhm." He amused himself with that last one as he now rose from the table and placed the money on top of it, grasping his cane and leaning over it. "Ah... yes. I think I'll be on my way. It was a pleasure meeting you, Aria. Best of luck."

He started on his way for the door, whistling a small tune to himself while he hobbled slowly away.

There was a new regular at Eat Out. It wasn't unusual for restuarants to have regulars or new ones at that. However the amount of money or favors required for someone to frequent this establishment were extraordinary. Such to the extent that a regular could not show up for a month or so. Yet this newbie was here everywhere day for the last two weeks. And like clockwork she was here again.

A tall, young oriental woman. She was dressed plainly, professionally but she walked with a degree of elegance that was not normally seen even in the higher echelons of the business world. She seemed delicate but the observant of security of Eat Out would have seen the scar on her right shoulder on previous visits. Sufficient to say, there was evidence of mystery. This woman was more than she seemed and her frequent visits meant she was either someone powerful or she had friends in high places. This was enough to get the attention of some, the caution of others, but apparently it was not enough to get Tiegre's.

With every visit, she sat herself down as though she owned the place and when the Host came to her, she charmingly would say.

"I am here to do business with Mr. Di Gun." .

There were explanations, excuses, and many courteous apologies extended to her.

"I am sorry, Miss. Mr. Di Gun is elsewhere today. We cannot say when he will be back. I am certain you understand.".

Was today's excuse. Yet she seemed unphased.
"Of course I understand. Mr Di Gun is a very busy man. I am willing to wait here until he comes. I an certain you are all capable of catering to my needs as I do...for the 14th time, yes?".

The Host kept his composure despite the frustration he felt. Perhaps that dissatisfied her because Yu Yan went on.
"I am sure the staff is delighted! Another opportunity to redeem themselves after so many consecutive disappointments. I look forward to tasting your efforts.".

Conveniently enough, after every visit a review would make it on various sites on Eat Out's service. Needless to say, they were less than favorable and they were obviously from the same little miss that had requested for Tiegre's presence everyday.

"There was a man whom his peers called the Sleeping Dragon. I want something to drink that reminds me of his noble character and genius. Alcoholic of course. I will think of what to eat as I wait.".

The Host bowed and retreated inside where he could vocalize his frustrations and prepare the others to fufill Miss Yu Yan's outlandish requests.

Larc was moving quickly, absolutely floating (literally and figuratively) through the large kitchen. The first kitchen of many inside the restaurant. This was Kitchen 1, and it housed a staff of 26 people including the cooks and head staff members. Waiters of the highest efficiency moved in and out like erratic clockwork. Matching paces of everyone as needed. Orders where flying in through ear pieces and holograms. Making for each section of the kitchen to manage time and cooperation in the best way possible.

This was a kitchen bustling with precision and cleanliness, and the temperature was turned all the way up to 11. There was a concentration of magical energy permeating through the kitchen staff that was palpable and visibly purple. One Sous Chef - Alexer - was cutting a bundle of red chives and sliding the finished ingredients with the 'mise en place' for the table presentation over in Section c4. There was a table in need of some spicy garnish next, and they would have it brought. A spice mix was ground, and then hand mixed within the next 47 seconds.

"Slide to table, SA c4 chives and spice mix is en route." was tersely spoken to a waiter on standby, Alexer was already back in motion taking on a precision cut of veggies for another special garnish finish, since it was to order and needed to be done with temperature and texture in mind. The staff moved without a second's notice. Instantly snapping into motion. It was a 'blink and miss' type situation. The red chives and spice mix disappeared in the blink and would arrive in the back section the fancy elegant restaurant within seconds.

"I have a reoccurring customer for Chef. One miss Creed." was spoken from an expediter. Instantly, everyone froze for half a second, before snapping to attention. The staff waiting for Larc's order.

Larc would turn to the kitchen.

"Area's 2 and 3 focus on the current orders coming in. SA c4 is handled, that was the last big order. I need Sous Chef Alexer to task your team on the Provolov Lamb Rack, with Ah Jus Blue Turt. Uriel, make a veggie medly of the heavens, and Yithurk, start that fricking cocktail RIGHT NOW!" Larc blurted out with energy and a new smile.

He turned on his heels as the staff snapped in to thier new ordering, it was audible even. Every little clang, had purpose, the purple mist that was floating throughout the kitchen turned blue and bright. The staff was motivated, and they wanted to meet Larc's expectation. 8 staff members were rededicated to making a single dish, a special one. It would take a total of 5 minutes, but it was 5 minutes that would utilized everything that the staff knew up until today to make happen.

It was, after all, a dish that Larc himself sourced the ingredients for and invented. A take on traditional Terran cuisine, made to be similar to an off worlder's tastebud. Larc focused for moment. He closed his eyes and began chanting. Within 4 minutes, 60 seconds before the dish was meant to go out, there was a beverage half mixed and prepared in front of him, still in the mixing container. There was no glass. Instead, a beautiful assortment of red sand, green ice, blue ice, and some gold liquid inside of a syrup pouring bottle was placed in front of him.

Larc opened his eyes and moved his hands quickly, swooping over the sand instantly. The red sand melding and shaped from the heat and magic coming off Larc's hands. It would form a beautiful ornate plate, octagonal in shape, about size of a standard plate but with upward curving corners. It would be completely see through, with a red glassy tinge. It would have electricity running throughout the glassy plate. Giving it sparks and hues of blue, gold and green. Larc would move to the next item, the two pairs of ice. He would pic up his favorite knife and go to work, moving so fast and with precision, it would take only 10 seconds to complete, he would infuse the knife with life energy and magic. Each ice block was carved into two halves of a dragon-like structure that would hold the liquid of the drink inside, they would be combined to form one dragon of green and blue. The halves would combine in such a way that it would appear as if the tail of the dragon were holding up the spine of the glass at the bottom, whilst the arms and head were holding a chalice like cone shaped vessel for the liquid. Entire structure was difficult to describe, for it was a dragon from an ancient tribe he knew. It was pure art. Most of all, it was alive. The dragon on the glass would move a little and adjust itself, as if waiting for the liquid.

Larc looked over his shoulder to see the 5 cooks bringing various parts of the dish to the red plate he created. Just as he grabbed the golden ambrosia in the syrup pouring container, he had a green fruit in the shape of an orb placed inside the mouth of the glass dragon. The glass dragon seemed excited by that. It held the orb as Larc finished shaking the cocktail and poured a beautiful frothy red liquid into the glass. The glass dragon began vibrating in more excitement. Now, everything was ready. A waiter staff was at his side before he finished the thought. He waved her off.

"I'll be delivering this myself." Larc said, and turned on his hills to head out into the beautifully ornate restaurant. The interior was bright and filled with gold and lavish styling all around. Larc made a beeline for miss Creed's table, his Staff of Ygg would shift from the corner of the kitchen float/fly to catch up with Larc's feet that were moving fast. Two staff members of the waiting team would be holding the main dishes and the drink on elegant black waiting trays.

Larc strode/floated to the other side of the table and took a seat in a practiced smooth motion. He pulled the seat out and the seat would magically pull back in, perfectly catching him in just the right position. His Staff of Ygg would float over to his right side, changing colors once more to a brighter beige cinderwood color. Clearly intrigued, it would would look as if it was swinging in a small motion from side to side. Larc would look steal a glance at his Staff of Ygg before shifting his gaze back to his guest.

"Hello my esteemed guest - Miss Yan. I can only guess the reason you have been coming here is because you can afford to enjoy our food daily! I would be honored, only except my staff members informed me that they have not managed to satisfy your palate. Disappointing to say the least. I take great bride in my abilities." Larc would began. His waiters would have flanked the table by now, two on each side. One of them would have placed the dragon styled chalice on the table already. The liquid inside would be red, with a layer of froth at the top that would appear to be sprinkled with flecks of gold, upon closer inspection however, one would notice that the entire top level of froth was actually shifting with swirls of lively gold. Like a golden snake in the liquor.

"I decided that I would see for myself all the things I need to know. The truth of my esteemed customers continued presence and request for a Di Grun, the capabilities of judgment towards my food, and whether I need to shut down my services for an intervention. I will not tolerate poor service." He finished. It would be clear through the extremely toothy smile and the measured tone that his expression showed his exact feelings of amusement and pride. A scary expression it would be too. Di Grun's were all born with a mask of darkness over there faces, the only thing visible would be yellow orbs for eyes and sharp pointed teeth that would show when smiling. Through magic, they morphed their fangs to look like normal teeth, but there was one in the family did who not mask his. Larcierge Di Grun was unfiltered among his family and kin.

The little dragon on the chalice, as if on cue, would slither further atop the chalice and aim its snout to the sky. It would blow a 3 foot flame upwards. The flame would be green in color, giving off a very infectiously calming and overwhelmingly invigorating area of effect, instead of the heat of normal. It would surprise everyone, including the waiters.

Larcierge would smile even wider however.

The fruit in its mouth would shine and even brighter green, sparkling and glowing, before being dropped in the drink by the little dragon. To which the dragon would maneuver back down towards the bottom of the chalice. It would inhale once more, then breath a gentle chilling breath of blue mist to cool the bottom of the chalice, keeping the optimum temperature where its supposed to be.

"Before I answer any questions about the famous legendary Sleeping Dragon of Ancient China, nor inquiries of intent/desires any further, please...let us have you drink. I shall indulge with you out of respect. As one should." Tierge said, and one of the waiters will place a chalice made of beautiful black obsidian. It would also look like glass, similar to the one Yu Yan would have. The same waiter will pour a brown liquid that one could assume was a small batch special. Larc would move when Miss Yan moved to sip.

Of course, he and all the staff noticed the man appearing through doors suddenly, but the table had his full attention. Someone would greet the customer withing seconds.
