Arrow Flight chuckled lightly, "And what would providing you with a nest entail, Cretin?"

Arrow Flight raised an eyebrow. "And just what does your nest consist of? What odd little things do you gather together to place in our hair, hm?"

Arrow Flight shook his head, chuckling, "And yet, you are surprised when we decline offering you a nest? It would be somewhat unpleasant to have all those items in our hair, you know. Not to mention the fact that were we to move at all suddenly, they would all go flying."

Arrow Flight wandered out of the men's room, yawning visibly.

"Wait, what? I've missed something again..."

Arrow Flight paced his way towards Whisper, blinking. "Uhh... I feel like I've missed a bit." he noted, "I take it this is the big bad guy?" he queried, extending one arm to his right. Within it, a beautifully crafted longbow appeared in a flurry of glowing orbs, decorated with silver and gold - a master work. Upon his back a quiver filled with arrows formed in similar fashion.

"Would now be an appropriate time to swear profusely?" he said, grinning as the Titan approached. Grinning. Not the most likely reaction, if you thought about it.

Arrow Flight immediately shifted his attention to Cameron Fields, hand darting to his quiver and withdrawing a trio of arrows, nocking them to his bow at near unnatural speed. Aiming, and pulling the trio of projectiles back to his cheek, Arrow murmured a quiet incantation. The arrow-tips immediately took on an orange glow, and Arrow smirked.

"Table dive these..." he muttered, and released the arrows. The three projectiles soared through the air towards Cameron, where each would embed themselves in either him, or the wood next to him, before exploding in a forceful shockwave akin to that of a hand grenade.

Arrow Flight 's eyes flickered to the onslaught of Hydras, and the archer deemed them a greater threat than Cameron, shifting his aim toward the large creature. Murmuring under his breath continuously, the archer began to loose a barrage of glowing blue arrows at the Titan, each charged with powerful spiritual energy that granted them huge concussive force, as well as magical energy that would do increased damage to beings that were otherworldly in nature.

"Ah, it feels good to be fighting giant monsters again." the archer murmured happily, seeming entirely unfettered by the possibility of horrible gory death.

Arrow Flight turned to Whisper with a salute, "Many thanks, Miss Whisper, for the protection, but I fear I must remove myself from the hospitable area of your shield. Mobility is my greatest advantage, and I see a little man on that nasty monster that is just begging to be sniped." he said, grinning and bowing his head.

"I shan't be long, I shouldn't think."

With that, Arrow darted forwards, moving incredibly fast across the floor of the bar, spinning and leaping in acrobatic fashion to avoid the fireballs until he leapt from the building, using the distraction of Sylvire's assault to pass by the Titan and sweep around to leap upwards at the wall of the bar. Rather than a typical reaction to leaping at a wall (i.e., bouncing off), Arrow's feet began to emit a dull blue glow, and he started to ascend the wall of the hotel, making for the roof at high speeds.

The archer hummed the tune to 'I'm walking in the air', as he went.

Arrow Flight continued to ascend the building in leaps of half a storey at a time, until with one final bound the man emerged onto the roof of the ten storey hotel, longbow in hand, and swivelled around to peer down at the Titan below. Eyes narrowing, keen eyesight picking up the man upon its back, Arrow nocked a single arrow to his longbow, and aimed downwards.

Muttering lowly, the Archer filled the arrow with his most powerful enchantment, filling it with enough pure arcane force to punch through (for example) the titanium walls of the bar itself. Locking onto the man upon the creature's back, apparently thinking he was in a university for the manner of his lecture, the archer smiled.

"Stop talking." he said blankly, though it was obvious that nobody would hear him, and loosed the arrow. Arrow was a master marksman - it was very unlikely this shot was going to miss.

Arrow Flight fist-pumped the air at the success of his shot, before turning to make his way down through the door to the roof, and slowly work his way down through the interior of the bar.

Arrow Flight decided to take a nap on his way down, because his writer was far too tired to go on.

Arrow Flight wandered down the stairs of the bar, yawning visibly. The archer had spent the last few hours sitting at a desk and writing his auto-biography. The book wasn't even half finished, but it was coming along nicely, as far as he could tell - but hell his wrist had cramp. So focused was he on the cramp in his wrist, muttering discontentedly to himself, that he didn't notice the sitting form of Sophia Voth, and the archer tripped over her, barely managing to save himself from tumbling head over heels down the stairs by reaching out to grab onto both banisters with outstretched arms. This left him in something of an awkward position, dangling down over Sophia.

"Ah. Didn't see you there!" he noted, chuckling faintly.

Arrow Flight lowered himself down back onto the step, back upon his feet. The archer smiled to Sophia, shrugging. "I really ought to pay more attention to where I put my feet - I think perhaps we are both at fault." he said, brushing one hand through his hair without thought.

"It's quite alright, my dear, I am - as you can see - unscathed and unharmed. Are you quite alright yourself? Forgive my boldness, but you seem less than happy." the archer commented, frowning faintly. "Do feel free to tell me to 'butt out' if you wish."

Arrow Flight raised an eyebrow, deciding in his infinitely rash and whimsical nature to take a seat on the step beside Sophia. "Oddly enough, as vague as that is, I think I get what you're saying. I'm not going to try and put it into words, but I understand."

The archer frowned, not sure how to proceed from here. "As a fellow, imperfect, flawed, emotionally and physically fragile human being, I can sympathise with your sentiment. You want to be steel, you want to be tough enough to take whatever life throws at you in the teeth without so much as flinching; but every time you think you are steel, you are unbreakable... life comes along and breaks you. 'You' referring to the human entity as a metaphor, I am not so rude as to assume I know your situation in the slightest; but I find the metaphor can apply to most."

Arrow Flight smiled to Sophia, a simple friendly smile, warm and understanding. "One of the most important lessons in life, I find, is the point at which you realise that being unbreakable steel is not possible, nor desirable. The times when life beats us down make us stronger, strengthen us as people, and bring us closer together.

To be steel is to be brittle, when life makes to break you, you snap - something is lost, and when you recover you only draw further into yourself to become harder. If you allow yourself to bend, to suffer in life, but not be broken, only then are you really strong. Steel breaks, but humanity bends, is contorted and depressed, but it always bounces back. Finding the humanity behind the steel that you've built around yourself is the first step towards real strength."

Arrow smiled then, "Ah, but listen to me, we are but strangers and I am launching into philosophical concepts. My name is Arrow, Arrow Flight."

Arrow Flight extended a hand outwards to shake, nodding his head. "A pleasure to meet you, Miss Voth." the archer said, tactfully ignoring Izumi and Danica. "There will come a point when you realise you are better off for the feelings, Miss Voth. Every time your heart is dented, attacked, or even broken, it makes you stronger. You will find that which you seek, be it love, friendship or peace of mind."

Arrow shook his head, "It is often a long term investment, however, but even in the meantime, the little things in life make feeling worth having. The little things that make you smile, make you feel warm, bring happiness to you, however briefly - keep them in sight."

Arrow Flight was unfettered by the slightly longer than usual touch, accepting the woman's explanation at face value. "No need to apologise, I understand. Well, I do not understand entirely of course, having never been deprived of the sense of touch, but I understand what you mean."

The archer placed his hand back in his lap, smiling brightly, "Ah, but Miss Voth, change towards easier trust is only for the better, for you cannot proceed through life being too mistrusting. There are times when you must rely upon others not to double cross you, or fail you, or perhaps most relevantly, hurt you. If you feel for someone strongly enough, you have to put trust in them to treat you kindly, or you will only become self-destructive with bottled-up thoughts and feelings."

Arrow Flight smiled "I can somewhat relate there, though perhaps not completely directly. I used to be a resistance fighter, in a time where I and a small band of individuals were the only people I could be sure of - and even they were corruptible. There was a period where I did not place my trust in any whom I met beyond that small number, but conversely I made sure that the bonds of trust I held with them were stronger than ever, nigh on unbreakable. That would be my advice to you - if you find it hard to trust many people, strengthen your trust in the select few you think you can."

Smiling, Arrow stood with Sophia. "Well that would certainly be un-chivalrous of me, but we can compromise and I can buy you a drink also?" he suggested, grinning wryly.

Arrow Flight smiled "It is no trouble, really." the archer said, glancing around, "I think perhaps a booth, after that step the comfort of the leather wall-sofas is inviting as never before."
