Her opalescent skin shines in the moonlight, clean and untouched since her purification. Having served as the priestess to her clan, she now travels alone giving counsel to those she thinks need it. Her hair is a light lilac and silky soft to the touch. She has two full sized, bat-like wings protruding from her back with two-fingered hands on the top joints. Often times she has her wings caped with the small wing-hands on her shoulders. Her knees have bone-spiked caps instead of knee caps, the plates extending up to a point known as a crown. Her elbows have similar bone growths referred to as cups that extend from the ulna. Asha also has a tail that's about the length of her leg. The tip is covered in a furry mess of hair and feathers the same hue as her hair.

Asha is prone to visions. They are often times very general save for a few key details that stand out. She can usually remember whether it was a good or bad omen, but she is far from predicting the future. When she is having a vision, her eyes glow white, returning to their iridescent purple afterward.

Like all gargoyles, Asha turns to stone during the day. Her skin, hair - every inch of her is covered in a granite coating while she slumbers in the sunlight. When she awakens at sun down, she bursts from the stone, leaving a mess of rubble behind.

So begins...

Asha crossed her arms as she bobbed up and down on the breezes. "The gargoyles are spread out over the Multiverse. We are no longer in clans as we once were. In fact, it has been a very long time since I've seen another full-blooded gargoyle. There is one half-blood." she nodded, confirming that she had seen a half-blooded female with red hair and human-toned skin. "Next of kin?" Asha frowned and hung her head. "No...There is no hope for Asha." And this was ironic, for her name translated, means "Hope".

Asha raised her head up, hearing someone imitation a female, either that, or it was some butch female tromping down the path. As Tommy neared her location, Ashs began her decent down the tree, face first, mind you, sniffing the air to find out who was so close. Finally, a visual presented itself and the gargoyle instinctively flared out her wings to make herself seem larger. Her eyes started to glaze over white as she let a rumble come out of her throat...Was this one a foe or friend?

Asha saw his hand going to his pistol and tensed up. With great strength, she clung to the tree to climb her way down and around the other side of the tree trunk. From there, she peer around the side with her upside-down head and let out a loud hiss at Tommy. She went as far as to bring her wings and tail behind the tree as well, feet barely visible on the sides of the tree up above where her head was peeking around. Another hiss came out of her pearl-like body.

Asha smiled at the familiarity of it all. What had it been? A year since she last came here? Part of her wondered if any of it would be the same. Surely some faces would be familiar - or so she hoped. You can imagine her relief when she came inside and spotted a familiar tiefling off in a booth. A cool joy rushed over her, the constraint of behaving binding back whatever rush she would have otherwise embraced. Still, there was no harm in being happy about seeing an old friend again.

"Lawless!" His name escaped her with a giddiness she did not expect or fully intend. This was confirmed by how she suppressed her smile and ducked her head before moving in closer to the booth where he resided. "It is good to see you." Then, noticing the familiar, she adds, "And you too, Syn."

Asha smiled brightly, white fangs glimmering in the light as she did little to hide them as she normally would. Gladly she slipped into the seat and drew her feet in close in against the bench seat. "I'm much better now." Her hand went up to her lilac locks before tousling the bunch over her shoulder. For a moment she paused and wondered if she would really go into all the details of the past year. She settled on summarizing. "I kind of lost myself for a while...It happens when I don't do everything in moderation. Perhaps I had a bit too much passion in my life." On the word "passion", her eyes flitted up to look into his silver orbs, only to pull away from the connection quickly. She didn't want it to seem that she was blaming him for anything.

"Are you alright? You seem a little banged up..." She was rather concerned for him, and careful not to touch any of his bandaged parts. Still, her tail slipped to the other side of the booth to gently brush her tail tuft against his foot.

Asha frowned at the recounting of his misadventure, showing obvious concern for the tiefling she still considered to be a good friend. "I believe I saw a glimpse of you during the ambush - though, the vision was so blurred, it could have been many different people. Still, it was what put in my head to come here again." Loosely she draped her arms over her lap and cupped her hands together before perking an ear to his final statement. "I truly hope you don't take any of what I've been through to even be remotely because of you. I just go through cycles, and that time was just me getting back in touch with my primal side..." Adding with a smile, "It was quite enjoyable." Her eyes even faded to white a bit at the memory.

Asha practically bristled at the presence of the other woman, but the shut her eyes and scolded herself for feeling that she had some claim on Lawless. She knew better than that and she was far too wise to let jealousy control her too easily. Still, she wasn't overly friendly with her forced smile.

"It's a pleasure, Jean." was all she said at first, looking to Lawless for a moment before just closing her eyes. "If you'll pardon me, I should go. Three's a crowd and such." The gargoyle put her hands down on the seat and scooted herself to the edge before standing and smoothing out her gray dress. "I do hope we have time to catch up soon, Lawless...Have a wonderful night, Jean."

Asha shook her head to the requests to stay and have dinner. "I really should go." Then, of course, Lawless' words did little but embarrass her. "Lawless, truly it's fine. I have nothing against this lovely lady or whatever relationship the two of you share - it's just a tad awkward for me to share our reunion with a stranger, no offense...I'll be by again day after tomorrow, so hopefully I'll see you then." Then, without another word, she turned and made her way out of the bar.

Asha leaned out from the booth she was in, looking at all the bloodsuckers that seemed to have taken over. Rolling her eyes, she crossed her arms and settled in the seat again, tail flicking in annoyance. "I suppose I won't be getting any service tonight..."

Asha hissed a bit at the projectile, landing a hand tipped with talons over the bottle that was wondrously still in one piece and not spilling all over the wood. With a toss of lilac hair, she righted the bottle and opened it before taking a swig of it. "Thanks." she added sarcastically. "But I was in the mood for some meat. I'll even let you serve it raw if you can dig up a steak." A fanged smile came out of the gargress as she took another sip, looking towards Arien.

Asha came up out of her seat and paced towards Arien with the bottle in her talons still. "Yes, but I'm not like you. I only kill mindless animals...So really, if I didn't mind having to nuke you first, I would consider you to be rather tasty." Pulling up onto a stool at the bar, she lets her tail hang down, wings caped around her shoulders. "But the One only knows what you've been eating."

Asha rolled her purple eyes at the boy, not phased by the boy's enchanting orbs. "Why don't you kids clear out of here, hmm? I'd hate to have to get violent and remove you myself...I do have a holy touch, after all...My blood would be like Holy Water to you. I'm also not without my share of crosses. We don't need to cause a scene here, now do we?"

Asha ran a hand through her hair giving its curls a shake. "I suppose I'll leave well enough alone. But if you find your meal in this bar tonight, you'll also find my talons ripping you to shreds. Sound good, dear?" Sliding off the bar stool, she stretched out a bit, un-caping and re-caping her wings. "Now where was that snowman off to? The freezer again?"

Asha came in and let the door shut. Being a gargoyle, she was pretty immune to the cold, or at least considerably more so than human beings. Pulling up a box of frozen fries, she plops her rear down on it and reaches out to touch the snowman's side. "You are on a quest then? How very noble...What has you so discouraged?"

Asha frowned as the meat was slung, holding a hand over her stomach as it noisily growled in hunger. "I imagine it is difficult to accomplish your own goals. Is there no one else who could stand in here? I mean, no offense to Gambit's, but this place is always on its last leg. I think it'd be that way whether you were here or not."

Asha smiled at him. "Maybe you've just lost sight of the mountain because you're in the snowstorm? I see you doing great things here...I'm sorry, I don't really know your name." An embarrassed smile brought her eyes to close into arches as she reached to scratch her head a bit. "I'm Asha."

Asha turned on her box of fries to face him directly. "And Cryoface, he was a snowman? If that's what you are, I mean. All the wild things in the universes, there's no telling what you might actually be. I am a gargoyle, if you couldn't tell from the wings--" Then, acting on its own, her tail raised up and threw its tail tuft in her face. "Pfft...and the tail."

Asha smiled brightly, tossing her hair back like a mane as she giggled. "Well it is a pleasure to meet you, dear. Would you mind if I spoke of you in my prayers tonight? Perhaps The One will know what you need to do next. If he reveals it to me in a vision, I will certainly let you know of it. Is that alright?"

Asha heard the footsteps coming and turned her head to look behind her from the branch she was sitting on. Anyone looking up would have seen the pearl-like gargoyle, glistening in the low light, but it seemed that this bi-pod was engrossed in his reading. She wasn't so high up that she couldn't extend a limb and catch his attention, and so, as he passed under her form, she dropped her tail between his nose and the papyrus. Giggling, she flicked the tail tuft in his face, hunched over to gaze down at him as he could easily look up her loin cloth. "Hello, traveler." she said with a fangy smile.

Asha pushed off the branch to land those strong, talon tipped feet in the ground in front of him, far enough off to not disturb his papers with her wings as she caped them and stood up straight, turning to face the feminine man. "These are clothes enough for me...I do have a dress that I wear in town, so I don't look like such a savage." Sizing him up, she adjusted her wings on her shoulders before flipping her hair back and commenting..."Your footsteps fall heavy on these woods. It causes me to wonder what you are.." Secretly she just wanted to divert the attention away from her leather scraps that she was growing embarrassed over.

Asha jokingly captured the long strands of the fringe of her cloth in her hand to give the man - if that is what he was - a curtsey before letting out a giggle of her own. "Good eve, Vokun. You may call me Asha." She would assume that he would know that to be an Native Terran name meaning "Hope". He did seem rather intelligent, after all. "You have already figured me out, save that perhaps you do not know of my visions." Smiling, her white teeth looked luminous against the opal tones in her skin and those rose pink lips. Lilac hair finished her ghostly appearance, giving her an odd beauty that greatly clashed with her surroundings. "We should tell stories!" she decided, hopping up onto the tree trunk beside her like some playful beast.

Asha blinked. "Well. That is a tale. I'm the last of my clan, but it's certainly not of my doing...There's just not a lot of room left for gargoyles, you know?" By this point in the story, she had gotten back up into the branches and was now hanging upside down from her knees with her cloth tucked between her legs, save for the flap that hung down behind her and exposed her rear. "I'm terribly sorry that happened to you. Maybe I can distract you with a story?" With his permission, she would proceed to tell him of how she can have visions of people in the future. Sometimes she predicts deaths, important life events like births, and other important things.

Asha shut her eyes, crossing her arms just past that rack. "Well, when you can foresee things, it's easier to avoid such terrors. I am rare, though, aren't I? I would suppose I might even be as rare as you." Grinning, she held her wings around her while dropping to the ground again and caping her wings after standing up again. "Hmm. I shouldn't lose track of time tonight. I was supposed to come out and get a deer to take back to my perch for supper tonight before turning to stone at sunrise. Do you mind if we walk for a bit and let me find my meal? Though I may have to ask you to tread lightly." That teasing smile came up again, mane of lilac strands tossed wildly about.
