Atani Berentes pat her very round belly, and went on to explain about The Hunt. She told the history of The Hunt - how the Gargantua, large beasts, were native to the planet. Lac Long Quan, a great emperor from long ago, was the first to defeat one. The gargantua have energy cores - those are what the people of this planet use to power most of their cities and technology: Gargantuan Cores. They are harvested from the Gargantua, but the Hunt is when people battle them one on one for sport.
