Augustus Khon was born a little different. His twin died during birth, and the half Erutin weathered this by changing instinctively into his other genetic half. He ended up special. A little slower than the other, but by no means stupid, August was a heavily sheltered boy, who learned, slowly, how to grow.

Augustus was not certain about going in, so lingered in the doorway a little bit. He was old enough, he reflected. But Mama wouldn't much approve. At all. The boy looked to the inside, then walked in, clearly nervous, and wondered what to do now.
Did he take a seat? Almost everyone else seemed to be sitting. Did he sit somewhere on his own or with someone? Hm. Well. Aunt always said he should be bold. He ran his hand over the antique buckle on his belt then nodded and took a seat at a table.

Augustus looked at the table in some confusion. He was here now. He was sitting, at a table. Now what? This was much harder than he thought. Dad would know what to do, but Dad had a case, which meant work, which meant he couldn't be with August. And Mom had some sorta raid or another.
He didn't know. Mom didn't talk about what she did. Not at all.

Augustus walked into the bar and glanced around. Oh. There were people this time. He watched awhile and took a seat. Interesting. There were many more people here than the last time he was here. He thought he might have figured out what to do, and looked the menu over. Oh. His reading skills for this language were poor, and he selected a drink he was familiar with from the touch screen menu: water.
Surely the water here was safe? Mama used to live here after all. The man looked around, and his eyes landed on Shimizu. Oh wow, what was he? August had never seen anyone with eyes like that, or skin quite that shade.
He looked kind of funny, to the young man.

And then Augustus caught sight of Cryoface. "Woah." He said and walked over, then poked the man's exposed skin. "You're mad of snow. Like a snow man." Woah. Mama never said there was anything like that, when she told him he could visit this world.
Though only if he kept his panic button on him at all times. Then he could. He had it around his neck right now, just in case. "How can you move, if you're made of snow? Wouldn't you melt with each step?"

Augustus paused. "How do you know your gender, if you're made of snow?" That was a good question. He then turned to Yuriko and Shimizu. "Are they about to fight? Mama says you shouldn't fight. You should talk stuff out. And if you can't talk stuff out, get Uncle. Uncle takes care of all the bad things."
Augustus watched. "Do you think Mama meant I hit my panic button now? I don't think I'm in danger. He is though. Should I hit it for him?" He asked Cryo, very curious now. The button summoned four of the guards to protect the young man. "He seems to need help."

Huh. This wasn't good. People were going to kill people. Killing was bad. The man frowned at the sight and spoke up. "You shouldn't kill people! Or kidnap them! Or fight. You're all being very very bad."
Very bad. The boy clutched the panic button in his hand, still not certain. So far, no one had attacked him yet.

The young man nodded. Though his body was that of an adults, kid worked for him. His mind was still very much a child's. "Like a panic room? I had one near my room." He sometiems slept in it, because it was nice. He took Cryoface's hand, so the other could safely lead him. "Your hand is cold. and wet."

Augustus followed the snow man into the storeroom. "This doesn't look like my panic room at home. This look like the pantry." He said, curious now. "Why are we in the pantry?"

Augustus returned, having found the safe place he was promised more like a pantry than a panic room. He saw they were still arguing and frowned. Weird things. The man walked over to Shimizu Takayama and Vicious Trinity. "Why were you fighting earlier?" He asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.

Augustus simply sat on the floor when the Union Expeditionary Forces arrived, confused. What was going on? He was not happy with it. The man wish he was back home, where things made sense, and if he had any problems, mother took care of them.
And if mother couldn't, uncle did. Uncle was good that way. The half-Belkan man didn't much like all the violence.

Augustus looked Shimizu over and sat down near him, but not next to him, so the other wouldn't touch him. He looked so different! The blond haired blue eyed half belkan had never seen eyes or skin like that. It was odd, but interesting. "Are you okay? I saw the lady earlier. She was crazy."
"I am too. I wasn't certain if I should have hit my panic button, to summon the guards." His guards, that was. The panic button summoned to his side in an instant four Belko-Erutin Travelers who would get Augustus to safety, and slaughter anyone who actually hurt him.
"He sounds like my Uncle. No one is happy when uncle is unhappy." He confessed and smiled. "I'm Augustus Kohn. Everyone just calls me August." It was a good strong name. He didn't offer a hand to shake. "What's your name?"
"My uncle? He's not really my uncle, but I live with him." He admitted. "Mama and I live in the palace. She does something as part of the military." He shrugged, and, having never been told not to, gave his uncle's name. "My Uncle is Uncle Josef Kampf." He smiled. "He can be super scary, if you get him mad, but h's never been mad at me." At his mom sure.
Everyone got mad at mom eventually. She liked to joke that her best friend and her had both attempted to murder the other at least five times. The boy had no clue it wasn't a joke.

"Oh. Yes. But I'm only half-Belkan. Mama is Erutin. But I can't shift like the others. It's too hard." Or rather, he could, but he never ever ever had. He had lost his twin during birth and as a result was a little...off.

"Mama says all the nations have done things they shouldn't be proud of." He said. "She says that many of the people in he nations do it, because they are told it is right, and they want someone to blame."
The man shrugged. "She says everyone does bad things, some times. They difference between a good and bad person is how they behave after they've done it. If they're really sorry, or only faking."

"Mama says we should always try to tweak Uncle's nose at least once a week, or the palace won't be big enough to hold his ego." Augustus explained. "And no. I've just never seen anyone who looks like you before. This is only my second time on Terra. Mama says the Terrans are good folk."
