Azazyl is a Lycan, but unlike many, he's not as combative, he's usually kind and mellow. After a life changing event, he's sought a new home for thirteen long years and has finally found one.
Unlike most lycans, his personality traits are different, Instead of being aggressive and violent. His nature has taken on a much more gentle way. He is usually mellow, liking to take things slowly and not as energetic as most. Always kind to ones who deserve it, and even if he doesn't ask for help often, he would be glad to assist anyone in any way he can. Although he is kind natured, he does have a side that not many get to say they saw if they were it's provocation. Even though his personality is one found in a person you'd get along with, he doesn't like Humans all too well. He isn't violent towards them, there are just a handful he's willing to cope with - Lets hope you make a good first impression, that's usually all it takes.
Nothing carried.
: ABILITIES:
Like many lycans, his senses are dramatically heightened. Even though he's not like many predators and does not hunt often, his keen senses of sight, smell, and hearing are at their peaks.
Also like many of the other lycans agility and speed is a factor, but he has developed the ability to run at impossible speeds. He has reached speed up to Mach 1 - Or the speed of sound.
The finale of his abilities is the most deadly. Azazyl has acquired the ability to harness energy within his lungs and along with a deep breath of air, expel it into a massive destructive force of highly pressurized air. In addition this blast wave of air also has a literally deafening roar, at least 340 decibels in volume. This force has the ability to pulverize stone and splinter wood - leaving the damage it causes to flesh up to your imagination, getting hit by this would probably be the last thing you'd do.
As with all abilities there are equivalent setbacks, which could possibly be the undoing of Azazyl.
Azazyl was born in Transylvania, and he was raised as all lycans were, violent, aggressive, and bloodthirsty. As Azazyl aged, he learned to hunt with his family, and after several years he became an excellent hunter, but the main thing Azazyl's pack had hunted for was humans. Once a week the family would hunt a single human to feed, and the humans bared this nightmarish lifestyle, for it was their own land that they were being hunted on. Many years later after Azazyl's birth, 16 to be precise, the humans of the hunting lands had finally grown tired of being prey for the Lycans. Fear from being hunted stayed them in their homes until they decided to put an end to their fears. The humans called for help form the closest surrounding town and villages and built up a force to defeat the werewolves.
On a cold winter night the humans stormed from the village and through the thick woods that surrounded them, to the Lycan's den. Azazyl's father, Oriax had foreseen the human's attack in a dream and had traveled to seek aid from his brethren throughout the countryside to help defend their home. Unfortunately not many came, the Lycan's forces had only rose to 21 in number, Azazyl's family made up 6 of the 21, his mother, father, 2 brothers, and sister. The humans had at least ten times as many. As the humans neared the Lycan's den, the werewolves poured from the caves and rushed into the massive mob of torch and blade wielding humans. The lycans slashed and shredded through the crowd of shock induced humans. The battle raged on for hours, and the lycans fought hard through cold iron, blood and moonlight.
As time passed the humans numbers had dwindled to at least a fourth of their original mass. Unfortunately the lycans had also lost a majority of their warriors. Only Azazyl's family remained in the vengeance hungry crowd of humans. Still they fought, their pelts soaked with human and their own blood. As the battle continued, Oriax the leader of the pack had finally fallen, his goal to protect his family had failed. As the family saw their leader, and father fall to the bloodied earth they retreated into the den. The humans stay outside, waiting for the lycans to attack once more. Azazyl and his brothers, Duemos and Caym, devised an ambush plan. While his mother and sister, rest their fatigued bodies. As the brothers rose to execute their plan, Azazyl mother and sister, Lilith and Kasdeya protested and attempted to convince them to flee, but the brothers' vengeance fueled anger of their father's death was impervious to the females' pleas.
While the family remained in the den, the humans had created a trap, that would set if anything were to come out of the cave, and as they completed the brothers mindlessly stormed out of the cave and fell into the humans' trap, the three struggle helpless under the net like trap outside of the den. A handful of men appear from the darkness of the trees. They laughed at the futile attempts of the brothers' to free themselves and one by one the humans would take their blades and impale a a lycan's chest. Duemos, Azazyl's older brother was the first to endure the torture. Azazyl and Caym cried out in terror and anger as they watch their brother die. Caym, Azazyl's younger brother had begun to cry at the sight of his beloved brother's death, Their mother Liltih heard the cries and rushed out of the cave to aid her sons, but as she entered the moonlit battlefield one of the humans had grown tired of the pup's whining and beheaded him. Lilith stood motionless as she watched her youngest son die, her mind suddenly blank she roared with fury and in an instant slew Caym's and Duemos' murderers, they fall to the ground, some gutted, some beheaded, the other humans that had come out to watch the execution hid back in the darkness of the trees.
Azazyl lie perfectly still under the trap as his mother cut him free. She begged her son to flee once more, and as Azazyl began to refuse the look in his mother's eyes made him hold his tongue and he ran in the opposite direction of the humans. After he had made it into the blackness of the forest he turned to see if his mother was following him. He froze where he stood as he watched the humans ambush his mother, he burst into tears as he watched her fall to the ground, arrows protruding from her back, he fell to his knees and almost decided to run back to kill the humans that ambushed his mother, but Lilith held up her hand and her eyes met her sons and with her last breath she told him to run.
Azazyl's mind had gone blank with hatred and sadness, but his body followed his mother's last command and he ran as fast and as far as he could. Hours later he collapsed in a field many miles away from his once home and family. He had ceased his tears because he had ran out tears to cry. His heart fell to pieces as he lie in the field, but he came to a realization, that what the humans had done was also the defeat of his brothers and mother. So he vowed to his lost loved ones that he would change, and live on as a new. He started a journey to travel the lands and find a place to start over, it has been twelve long years since he began it and he hasn't found his destination yet, but he's most definitely not giving up.
