Benjamin Havok idly stood staring down the street to the bar. Wind whipping around the tattered armor rigged to the Azrik's chest and cumbersome body, the calming gust pushing the clumped, stubby brown hair stretching barely past the length of his ears. A long sigh escaped Ben before a soft smile cracked his features, augmenting the scar the traced down the length of his cheek.
"Never thought I'd survive to see this place again."

Benjamin Havok released another sigh of remembrance as he opened the door to the bar, one bulky arm extending to push the wooden fixture open and reveal the internals of the familiar tavern to him once more. Ben curled a small smirk before finally entering the bar and shutting the door behind him; yet stopping in his tracks before he looked to the Xindhi traversing the floor.

Benjamin Havok regarded the Xindhi with an intrigued look as he watched the skeletal figure bump a table -- the patrons occupying it hardly taking notice of the glowing husk hindering their conversation. Ben felt a quick prick in the recesses of his mind as a computer whirled to life, a rush of adrenaline snapping him back into reality before he once again focused on the Xindhi.

Benjamin Havok furrowed his brow before taking several solitary steps farther into the bar, not angling himself directly for the Xindhi and the young child he was speaking to, but rather simply striking a path toward the bar at a relative snails pace. That was, of course, before the chiming voice of Valentina filled his ears.
"That appears to be a Xindhi -- and I doubt you'd ever live to see one." Ben couldn't help but consent to the statement, shifting his gaze toward the ground as he fought a soft laugh by him.

Benjamin Havok reaching the bar, Ben idly planted one shoulder onto the marble counter top before pivoting to once again look toward the Xindhi. His interest also piqued by the young girl interacting with the skeleton, his process was thoughtfully stopped by Valentina, however.
"There's next to no information on any aspects of the Xindhi -- and you may be one of the few Scatterran's to ever see one." She replied, Ben working slowly to shake away her voice as it rang through her head.
"Only a handful of us have ever seen one ... "

Benjamin Havok continued to regard the small group a small distance from him. His calm eyes easily flooding over the Xindhi and offering a pin-point view to Valentina, whom continued to cloud his thought process with the unnecessary garble.
"They're an absolutely perplexing civilization -- how anything could evolve to that point is amazing." Ben did his best to ignore the voice in his mind before disembarking from the bar and approaching the group.

Benjamin Havok sat at a table with his cumbersome boots planted onto the wooden plane while crumpling a piece of paper in his hand and tossing it toward a trash bin several feet away. He whistled obnoxiously, his thin lips creating a high-pitched noise as he tossed the crumpled paper. The small trash flew through the air and landed beside the trash bin, after which the Azrican cursed beneath his breath then went back to taking swigs from a silver flask.
Missed again, Master Sergeant. The voice within his head fluttered annoyingly before he shrugged his heavy shoulders and blocked out the AI notched into his skull.
"Just occupying time, Valentina." He replied coarsely, his voice above a small audible drone as he set about crushing another wad of paper.

Benjamin Havok continued to practice his throw, faking the actual event for several seconds. His tongue pushed loosely against his cheek as he closed one eye to imagine the throw.
Your request for the Convector schematics has been denied, Master Sergeant.
"Of course -- Of course it's been denied -- " He retorted to the Intelligence dwelling in the echelons of his own mind. Shrugging in distaste, he groaned while adjusting himself to sit correctly in the chair.
"Make the request again from a MilCom satellite, but bruteforce it through two other processors -- " To anyone noticing him, he would appear to be talking to himself. Not different from most happenings in the bar.

Benjamin Havok groaned loudly while he yawned, cupping one bulky hand to his maw before tapping his fingers on the plane of the table hurriedly. Obviously swept up in his own activities, he wouldn't notice the several small wads of paper and other trash around him and on top of the table. Silencing himself, finally, he brushed his sleeve across his face.
Bruteforcing will take time, Master Sergeant, I recommend --
"Bruteforce, Valentina. If they track the trail, they track the trail. Just ... do it." He mumbled before standing and making his way to the bar, the Azrican stood taller than most patrons he passed, reaching 6'3 in full height.

Benjamin Havok , standing at the bar, tucked the flash into an open pocket on his torso-plate before placing both hands onto the countertop and leaning forward slightly. Ordering a rather simple rum and soda, he yawned again, while inside the depths of his mind the biological machine called his brain churned at insane speeds.
Breaking Coalition MilCom satellites is punishable by imprisonment on New Regali, I hope you're aware.
"I think breaking their tinker-toy is the least they'd tack on to my list of charges ... " His rejoinder was precise and disturbing as he grabbed his rum from the bartender and started back toward his table.

Benjamin Havok tapped his fingers on the bar calmly, his other hand stretched to his chin and cradling his jawline while he observed the small display in front of him. Throwing a faint blue tint across the lone soldier at the bar, the hologram displayed a small rectangular shape -- further investigation or common sense would recognize the view as a small ship. Obviously uninvolved with anything else in the bar, he continued to observe the holographic ship, tracing one finger up to spin the display to the left while he clicked his tongue in amusement.
"Brand new Coalie ships ... " He muttered to himself.

Benjamin Havok inhaled sharply as the young girl bumped into the stool he had been sitting on, jolting him from the trance. Watching the detailed hologram flicker from the sudden jostling caused the device to display another; this particular vessel appearing far larger than its earlier counterpart. Havok shifted himself off his elbow and then glanced down to the little girl. Noticing the oddly placed yellow rain boots, his brow cocked upward as he observed her further.
"Is there are particular reason a six year old is walking around in a bar?" His voice was rather harsh, something he initially regretted upon speaking.

Benjamin Havok hearing the little girl respond, his features softened a small amount. His lips thinned and his brow slackened as the girl apologized. The sounds and clangor of the bar rising in his ears, he once again fixed his eyes on the girl's awkward yellow rain boots.
"What are you doing here, exactly, this place isn't a very friendly place for someone your age." He returned to her, managing himself rather kindly this time.

Benjamin Havok bringing his head back slightly as she was pushed into the table once again, he placed his hand as a stopper between her and the counter to prevent any further injuries. His suspicion piqued by now, he allowed the child to babble on for several more seconds before turning his chin sideways and speaking.
"Who's CeCe -- and how do you know my name is Ben?" He inquired, his eyes flickering with apprehension at the thought of a child simply guessing a persons name by chance.

Benjamin Havok noticing the child's missing teeth, he continued to listen intently to the little one though. His eyes and ears continuously chronicling everything the girl told him. In the back of his mind, the sentient AI known as Valentina was also brooding on the most recent displays this child had offered him. Having some of the widely known aspects of his life spoken to him didn't bother him in the least bit, but coming from a child who appeared no older than nine, his mental reserves were fast at work calculating the possibilities.
"CeCe knows everything? How do you talk to him ... her ... it ... CeCe?" He inquired again, this time his features taking on a slightly sarcastic look.

Benjamin Havok his eyes monitored the child as he explained herself, his tongue pressing into his cheek. His mind suddenly cooled in thought as his ears rang with the synthetic, yet disturbingly realistic, voice of Valentina. 'In all studies of Pre-Cognition a child her age couldn't even comprehend aspects such as these ... are startling. If the child can guess a persons past like she's remembering the color of her room, I'm certain there are other powers that she hasn't even tapped in to.' Havok released a curt grunt before smiling down to the girl.
"Very interesting ... How'd does CeCe know all this about everyone?" He responded, his further attempt to provide the AI with more situations to study.

Benjamin Havok widened his eyes as the child pronounced, or at least attempted to, the name of the sentient device within his mind. 'That was certainly something she couldn't read from a wanted bulletin ... Havok, this child has abilities unseen in any group of Scatterran reality breakers since the generation zero. This girl isn't any normal psyke.' Havok needed little more proof, from either Valentina or 'CeCe'.
"Alright then, little girl ... So where are you and ... 'CeCe' from?"

Benjamin Havok nearly immediately caught the child's change of tone. Indeed a cryptic response, Havok gathered some knowledge from the explanation. Disregarding the hasty words of Valentina, Havok shifted one hand over to the small holo-display that had been unused on the table. With the simplest touch it whirred to life and displayed a starchart of Beta Hydri, nine small globes orbiting around dual balls of dull red.
"This is where I grew up when I was your age, do you know where it is?" He inquired, simply making conversation with the strange child.

Benjamin Havok smirked slightly, his ears ringing from a short sound from Valentina. 'So the child is a vessel for the greater one -- Tarsan articles cite Ancients possessing living humans to achieve their means of coordination with the world.' Havok responded curtly with a chuckle, 'Religious banter sometimes has a hard time explaining these things'. Leaning forward, he offered the hologram pad to the girl while pointing to one orbiting planet in particular, nestled between two others. One being a lush green world, and then other a larger, more desolate landscape.
"I lived on that right there, named Crawl."
