Benjamin Havok jumped slightly at a rather audible explosion buffeting the bar, filling it with garbled noises and even knocked several glasses from tables across the bar and shattered on the floor. One of the mercenaries recoiled as his vodka splattered across the floor, spilling some of the precious liquid over his hands, which he threw into air while unleashing a fluid string of obnoxious curses.
"Sweet fuck of all kind, do they really need to do that?" He shouted, his partner in-crime giving a gurgled chuckle through his obviously drunk haze. Dropping several of the playing cards onto the table, the mercenary dropped his hands over his eyes and groaned.
"Fffuuuuccck, and we're supposed to fly through this. You're going to puke, Vachili, I damn know it."

Benjamin Havok slipped into the bar under the guise of a Coalition marine, his helmet tugged down over his brow as he passed by a woman inquiring about mercenary contracts throughout the planet. As she was approached by a secondary contact, Havok neared the bar and stripped the helmet from his head before setting it down. Casting a weary eye to the tavern floor, his thinking had been correct -- his faked entry had thankfully gotten him little notice.
"Monitoring the Coalition communications links they seem to have gone dark again -- either Counter Balance doesn't know where you are, or Counter Balance knows exactly where you are." The chilling AI's voice remarked as he waved over toward the bartender and ordered a glass of water to steady himself. Walking around garbed as a Scatterran all day had ran his nerves to the edge.

Benjamin Havok shifted onto one elbow as he pushed the helmet away from him more, attempting to distance himself with it as much as possible. Still dressed like a UCON marine, it was not very often one witnessed a marine minus his helmet or other noticeable weaponry -- anyone relevantly knowledgeable of Coalition weaponry would realize the assault rifle on his back was out of date as well.
"There is a FBP fly-over, should be overhead about now ... " The AI relayed the information to Havok, who subsequently looked out the doorway and saw a mote of light pass overhead before disappearing into the darkness.

Benjamin Havok looked over his shoulder, seeing one man on the ground from a wound in his thigh, and then seeing the man and woman on the ground. It appeared the primary had been shot, and Havok focused on the team of men imposing themselves throughout the bar. His mind began to churn as an advanced cybernetic interface observed the entourage.
"Aschen racketeers, mob agents from the inner Aschen worlds." The AI remarked dryly, causing Havok to step to his feet; the sight of a Coalition marine could make him a wider target than necessary however, and he even debated simply allowing the obvious crimes before him to unfold.
"I would suggest against action, Master Sergeant -- a situation this deep in the city could give the Coalition enough time to lock down the entire -- "
"Quiet, Valentina, let's see what they do." Havok said quietly to himself, still remaining on the far edges of the confrontation, yet ready to intervene.

Benjamin Havok cocked the hammer of the magnum, its heavy clank enough to frighten anyone even remotely familiar with Coalition weaponry. Capable of firing a hyperconductive 15 millimeter slug at high speeds, the Aschen would realize he'd be soup on the wall before he even made it within a foot of the woman. With his finger in the trigger, it was obvious Havok was dead serious about his position.
"Why don't we just hand the girl over and mosey on out of here, your entire little entourage, or I'll mail you all home in zip-lock bags." He remarked, his wrist waving the cumbersome weapon slightly.

Benjamin Havok smirked, dropping the handgun to his flank and discharging the weapon once. A monstrous roar tore through the entire bar, any of those with acute hearing would have a distinct ringing in their ears for a considerable amount of time. Where the bullet had impacted was now nothing but a massive depression, a wide circle of charred carbon where the slug actually impacted the material, leaving the distinct residue of burned carbon and matter.
"I have second thoughts." He said, yanking back the hammer and once again aiming it toward the man, stepping over a table he had overthrown in his opening act and stepping toward the Aschen.
"You look too sleazy to be Aschen Marines, and I doubt the Commander would like it known you're a business associate." He said, aiming the weapon directly in his face before nodding off toward Finch, Katja and the other person aiding them.
"Those happy campers 're all gonna' walk out to the hospital, and arrive there unharmed, and we're -- " He said, reaching down to the body of an unconscious mobster and fetching a wallet from his pocket before looking at his ID.
" -- Gonna' have a nice long talk about business plans. What the hell are you doing here on Terra?"

Benjamin Havok began to pace to the side, giving the Aschen a clear view of the door so he could exit whenever he had decided. Still keeping the other mobsters wallet, he stuffed it away in a satchel before slowly drawing his weapon up.
"If you're gonna' run, you better run now -- and tell Shaw there are plenty of eyes on her." He remarked dryly, at the moment, the AI within a small computerboard in his brain transfered itself onto a massive radio array. With that, the super-AI implanted itself on the Aschen starship looming overhead, disguising itself as a Coalition communications password relay, which Shaw would undoubtedly accept.
"Objective achieved, Master Sergeant," The AI replied as Havok watched the Aschen, allowing him to leave at his discretion.

Benjamin Havok grinning, he tipped the front end of his weapon toward the Aschen as he departed, before quickly turning toward the ruckus from the group he had probably just saved. While Valentina would have little difficulty replicating herself into copies across every vital and non-vital system on the entire ship, Havok would have to wait considerably longer for his avenue. In the meantime, he could solve this problem. Aiming his weapon toward Nereus, Havok's composure would be considerable more intimidating than before, his gun was larger too. That counted.
"Whatever you're doing, we're going to play the counting game now -- Take a deep breath, count to five," He said, pulling back the hammer of the weapon while stepping toward Katja and Finch in the hopes of discouraging any further action against the couple.
"And step the fuck away."

Benjamin Havok still wielded the weapon gung-ho, the heavy magnum more than enough weight in his hands as he placed himself between Katja[/]b, [b]Finch and their former protector Nereus.
"You can have all the fancy rhetoric you want, but someone needs to make it to the hospital, and quick ... " He said, nodding first toward Katja before reaching into his packet and tossing a cumbersome device down to Finch.
"That should pay for a hospital trip, or at least get you into one -- " He remarked before standing to block the couple from the obviously unstable man. High overhead, Valentina was having little trouble with the Aschen 'super' AI, unable to even fathom the extent of the AI's understanding of the computer network, the attempts to squash any replications of the AI would simply push the coding deeper and deeper into the program, and soon it was simply finding itself reconstituting itself beneath the same AI that was attempting to destroy it.

Benjamin Havok dropping the weapon to his side, he raised one hand palm up toward Nereus before stepping closer. His intention to remove the couple from harm in any way possible, Havok was still debating simply shooting the man in the head and call it a day.
"Let's just let everyone go -- Paramedics are right down the street, and he needs medical attention right away." Havok replied, his voice trying to take a much more comforting tone. Onboard the Aschen supercarrier, Valentina was having much greater success; simply reconstituting the system with a more Aschen likeness of herself had been much more painless than her previous methods. Now, she was simply sitting upon the motherload of Aschen data -- fleet movements to the Aschen borders, joint operations with Coalition Counter Balance teams across planets throughout the galaxy, and even secret protocol for a seizure of Terra in the event of a Red Halo occupation.

Benjamin Havok felt a pang of interference cloud his mind, causing him to gurgle and shout as he clutched at his temple and stumbled toward a nearby table. Onboard the Aschen starship, Valentina was far too close to tripping her sensors, not only onboard the Aschen ship, but also notifying the extensive Coalition MilNet network to her exact location and existence; and the Coalition realized, where ever Valentina was, Havok was as well. Stumbling forward, Havok felt a massive fire ignite in his skull as Valentina jumped from the cyberdepths of the Aschen supercarrier, with the entire network intact, directly into Havok's mind carrying her current configuration to run an Aschen super carrier. The massive influx of data made his eyes darken before he regained himself again, panting and coughing while propped up against a table. He first looked up, to the ceiling, then to Amy.
" ... He's fine, he's totally fine ... " He said, suddenly overcome with a massive migraine. Taking an entire starship worth of information sounded like it would cause such symptoms.

Benjamin Havok feeling suddenly under the weather, to the trillionth degree, Havok clenched his eyes tightly before he vomited the contents of his previous meal onto the ground as the blueprints of an Aschen Viper screamed across his vision, suddenly becoming replaced by intelligence photographs of a Coalition monitor-post in the polar regions of the planet. Gritting his teeth through another wave of pain, he quickly straightened himself and began his journey of wobbling through the mindfucker that was his vision for the door.
"Alright ... Valentina ... We need ... to leave ..." Havok heaved as the AI simply continued milling over the data in his head, making it considerably worse as he moved forward.

Benjamin Havok stumbled forward for the door, managing to look like he was relatively in control as Katja and her friend passed by him. The touch on the shoulder went unnoticed, Havok simply lolling his head and clenching his eyes tightly as he watched an Aschen Raptor ascend from a helipad on some planet far away. Shaking the images away, he reached forward and clutched at the marine helmet before putting it atop his head and placing the bulky goggles over his eyes.
"Oh ... My ... God ... This is fucked." He said, waving one hand over his face to make sure he was still at least tethered to reality.

Benjamin Havok exiting the bar, Havok clutched his head and gritted his teeth at the constant flood of information, his ears blaring the sounds of thousands of thousands of people. His noise created the smells of thousands of thousands of locations before he felt shoulders shaking him. Capable of faintly seeing the street ahead of him through the veil of data, Havok opened his eyes once more and pulled himself away from Nereus, who was fortunate enough to help him.
"Seven three six eight two one, get to the Array and broadcast the message to the fl -- " He stopped himself, his feet slightly warped, causing him to walk in an awkward path before he slowly began to regain his composure.
"I'm ... I'm fine, thanks." He said, the helmet and goggles doing much to keep his identity secret from those who would pass by.

Benjamin Havok moving along the street, Havok inhaled sharply as the duo passed by a group of marines rushing down the street. He followed them with his covered headgear before turning toward Nereus and shaking his head to him.
"I'm fine, but we'll need to get the hell off the streets, because those guys mean business -- y'see that ship up there?" He said, pointing toward the Aschen supercarrier as it ascended toward orbit, trailed on several sides by an contingent of Coalition aircutters, bulky atmospheric gunboats that served as the LNoS' escorts planet-side.
"I just turned into its fucking encyclopedia." He mumbled as he passed by another vehicle full of marines.

Benjamin Havok attaching the sleek rebreather unit to his face, he completely obscured his visage, following the same suit his other attache had taken. Nodding lightly, he took a turn at one street corner, narrowly steering them away from the bulk of an M-87 as it descended from the sky. The heavy transport unloading a full complement of marines onto a rooftop.
"Guess they rolled out the welcome wagon ... Dunno' if I wanna' be here to see it, though," Havok replied as he turned down a dark alley way that lead into a major drainage basin.
"We'll give 'em the split for this time." He said, reaching down and yanking the cover from a manhole, exposing the under belly of the city.
"I'll have to come back by the bar soon, I think I left something behind back there -- and if I'm on the right track, we can blow this whole occupation wide open. I've got to get underground, and I'd get the hell out of here if I were you, too."

Benjamin Havok jolted himself awake at the counter, giving one quick shout before wiping away the puddle of drool he had created in his slumber. Awkwardly forgetful, he had once again found himself passed out in Gambits with no wallet, no booze and no recollection of what had necessarily occurred. In a flood, however, the past several days' events had come back to him. The two nights spent amongst the rubbish of Wing City, a talk with a certain illicit business man and several other stories he'd surely write about and make millions off of. Pulling himself off of the counter, he wiped one hand over his face before clearing his mind with one soft groan.
"I can probably get a room for the night -- or out back." He muttered to himself, reaching across the counter and fetching one short glass for his daily ration of alcohol before rapping his hand on the table and ordering a heft dose of whiskey.

Benjamin Havok taking one swig of the whiskey, he placed it on the counter and shifted his chin into one open palm while blinking away a pseudo-image from his vision. In the days since his encounter with the Aschen super carrier, Havok had found himself quite the expert on Langaran and Tauron culture, having been forced to obey the whims of his mind like a school child still in primary waiting politely for his education. Grunting, he let his concentration roam and simply closed his eyes, utilizing the ambiance of the bar to combat the cloudy images and thoughts in his head. While walking around with an encyclopedia of an entire nation in his noggin wasn't his best allocation of resources, it certainly kept him occupied during the slower days of Wing City.
" ... Oh God ... don't tell me I've seen this one before," Havok muttered slightly, grabbing the edge of the counter with both hands and steadying himself at the onset of more imagery, to many others he would simply appear a local drunk.

Benjamin Havok cocked his head over his shoulder at the mention of his name, suddenly ripped back into reality as he stood from his stool. His eyes darted across the room toward the man calling for him, and he felt a quick rush of relief at the Aschen standing before him. Had it been the Coalition this time, things could have gotten seriously out of hand. Then, of course, he realized it was an Aschen, and then things did get out of hand.
"Ahh, I know what this is about, all those parking tickets," Havok said, matching the man as he reached for his own weapon by withdrawing the dual AP-50 automatics he had suspended in break holsters at his thigh. One weapon was aimed directly for the Aschen, while the other he held loosely.
"Listen buddy, tech support can fix that big tin can of yours -- just be glad I didn't put a bunch of smut on it, because I could've." Havok said, hefting the automatic.

Benjamin Havok rolled his eyes, keeping the weapon leveled as he stepped away from the bar and towards the rear exit, spinning the AP-50 in one hand while keeping the other aimed tightly for the Aschen. Hypersonic monitors had picked up the mention of the Code Seven, and thanks to the extent of Valentina's knowledge the first of several dummy beacons sprang up around the city; each broadcasting correct authenticity codes, Havok kicked a duffelbag out from beneath a table near couple enjoying their drinks. Havok politely nodded toward the couple before hefting the duffel onto his back.
"Hope y'all enjoy your drinks, have a nice night and ... wear protection." Havok mentioned before stepping away, his second weapon training on the armed guards of the Invictus lightly, with the Azrik nodding his head toward Maddox and the other Invictus personnel.
"If you have any complaints of service, speak with the tech support over there -- those guys." Havok insinuated, he was obviously stalling for his own time as well, though for what not even he knew. He simply followed orders from Valentina.
