Description
Physical: Currently using Kat Dennings as a visual referrence. I will try to expand on this later but it's a good jumping off point.
Personality: Calm, uncaring, tries to fit in as best she can. As wary of others as she is of herself. Always looking for trouble but still manages to waste time fantasizing about all the ways she could handle it. Enjoys other people's company (most of the time), getting high and looking for something to do. Drawn to powerful peopke and artifacts
History: Bill's story starts long before she was born. As long as creation has stood, there have been the Challengers. In the past these were a league of interdimensional warriors who travelled from universe to universe in search of the most poweful beings that reality had to offer. Once a challenge was issued, a fight ensued. Should the Challenger win, theywould often claim a fragment of power or piece of technology as their prize. If it came down to the death, they would take everything from their opponent. The power of the challengers came from Blockade 1, a mysterious space station hidden in a realm between universes. While it's true name and origins are a mystery to all, the Challengers have found ways to get in and out and use it as a home base. Blockade 1 on the surface appears as a vast, cavernous space craft, not that anyone has ever seen the exterior. It may well not be a ship of any kind. Inside, the wide halls and workshops are filled with countless generations of Challenger spoils, relics from across all time and space. The true strength of Blockade 1 ia to allow instant access to the myriad of wepons and relics in it's stores to anyone who can control it. Since this secret is passed only through the warrior's bloodline, it has stayed with them eternally. Originally, Blockade 1 was a hub, a nexus for all Challengers across all reality. This all fell apart when The Consortium of Stars, a task force comprised of dozens of different realities, waged war against the Challengers. The Consortium had been created by survivors of conquest and had vowed to end the constant assaults from Blockade 1. Even with their nearly infinite power, they underestimated their foe. The Consortium infiltrated, hunted and executed all but a handful of the Challengers, reclaiming much of the stockpile of Blockade 1. After generations of conflict, it is rumored that exaxtly 9 are left, too fearful to increase their numbers again. Their home was relocated and was never found again. The few left rarely crossed paths, due to the nature of their work. Now, it seems little remains of their legacy.
Bill was destined for this life. A life of power, strength, near Godhood. It never came to pass. As a child, she was raised by her father, supposedly one of the 9, she was taught as much as she could about the Challengers of old and the wrath of the Consortium. She learned of magic and combat and weapons and technology, of myriad cultures and languages, her learning enhanced through the Blockade's own tech. Before she could reach her potential, disaster struck. The Consortium finally tracked down her father, dispatching Agent Tanaka to deal with them. After ambushing as assassinating her father, she was turned to stone and left wait until the end of time. By sheer chance, Bill was discovered and revived by a scientific expedition long into her future. Alone, memories scrambled and in an unfamiliar universe, Bill is out to do all she can to become a Challenger as her ancestors had planned. Now she just needs to work out how exactly to do that.
Equipment/Abilities: As the inheritor of the Challenger mantle, Bill was raised to be the most powerful single combatant in all of creation. While she never hit this point, she was still well trained in conventional armed combat amd implementation of magic and reality manipulation. This training allows her to perform a variety of feats, ranging from faster reflexes to casting elemental attacks on a small scale. Her time petrified has turned most memories into a scrambled mess, meaning large parts of her training are missing. As she is now, Bill is still re-learning almost everything. So far her abilities are as follows:
Translator; Her connection to Blockade 1 allows for instant translation of most languages.
Recompositioning; Bill can 'Shape Shift' to small degree by blending the line between parallel worlds to alter parts of her body i.e. hair colour, skin tone, height etc.
Rapid healing; Exposure to many revitalising over time meant the Challengers evolved a reasonable healing factor on their own, able to heal wounds with relative speed.
Combat training; Trained in hand-to-hand and armed combat.
So begins...
Gabriel Ereb, aboard a private jet, skimmed through several files on his tablet. There were numerous schematics depicting everything from weapons to spaceship parts.
Meteor zoomed high in the atmosphere above
“
I'm going check that forest
”
Linus Trucidabunt hopped casually off of the train when it pulled into the far busier station just outside of Wing City' Eastern Gates.
He signalled for Carmen to stay close, ignoring the sound of the city beyond the great gate as he prepared the ultimate beeline escape.
Carmen Dellevon followed Linus, reaching for his hand when an especially large ship took to the atmosphere above from within the city. That must be the spaceport.
Linus Trucidabunt surprised himself when he grabbed Carmen's hand back.
