Age: Indeterminable, since he is a creation born of the goddess and has no true age. however he came into being around 40 years ago.

Species:Appears to be human but is in reality a godly construct, mortal but powerful when he draws the right card.

Appearance: Blackjack can in theory change himself into whatever he wants when he draws a spade suite card, but normally he takes on the appearance of a jester. His face is covered by a metal mask, one side the side of tragedy, the other the side of comedy. The mask is sealed to his face by magic, preventing anyone but himself from removing or dislodging it. His clothes are those of a jester, his hat that of a jester as well. The suit is half red red and half purple with a split down the middle separating the two colors. There are also bells on almost every conceivable point on the uniform.

Magical Playing Cards:
These are packs of playing cards that Blackjack draws before every battle. The suite chooses the type of power he has, the value of the card determines the power level of whatever power Blackjack gets. The cards are magical, but they are essentially buttons, letting the jester acess the various abilities at his disposal. Some abilities (spade and club) are magical while others (diamond and heart) aren't.

Powers:These are the suits Blackjack can draw. Whenever he gets a new ability he also gets the abilities that the lesser cards can give him.

Spade:When he draws the spade card, Blackjack has the ability to affect luck around him. When the ten card is drawn he can only affect the objects on contact. When the jack card is drawn he can send out small bad luck hexes at whatever he wants to be affected. When the Queen card is drawn he can affect all objects in a radius of 10 feet in every direction. When the king card is drawn he can control the bad luck of an entire city block. When the ace card is drawn he can control the bad luck of an entire town or city.

Club: When he draws a club card, he gets a special staff that can turn into almost any kind of weapon. When the ten card is drawn he can only change the staff into other pole arms like spears, jousting lances, etc or other staffs. When the jack card is drawn he can transform the staff into any kind of melee weapon. When the Queen card is drawn he can transform the card into any melee or ranged weapon, excluding projectile weapons. When the king card is drawn he can turn it into energy weapons, like lasers, blasters or the like along with projectile weapons. When the Ace card is drawn he can transform the staff into any weapon known including vehicular weapons.

Heart: When a heart card is drawn he has the power of telekinesis, excluding organic or robotic lifeforms. When the Ten card is drawn he can send telekinetic bursts through his hands and feet to help push his opponent away during combat. When the jack card is drawn he can lift small objects ranging from specks of dirt to small scraps of paper. When the queen card is drawn he can lift larger objects, ranging from small furniture to car tires. When the king card is drawn he can lift larger furniture, including tables, desks and small boulders. When the Ace card is drawn he can lift anything short of lifting a building, ranging from cars to large boulders.

Diamond: When a diamond card is drawn Blackjack gets the ability to manipulate light. When the ten card is drawn he can cause an opponent to become blind over prolonged contact. When the jack card is drawn he gains the ability to send beams of hard light to knock back his opponent. When the queen card is drawn he gains the ability to make himself and other people, invisible. He also gains the ability to increase his speed to that of the speed of light, though he usually goes slower because at the speed of light he begins to cause damage to his environment. When the king card is drawn he can create objects out of hard light, ranging from complex objects like bicycles, to simple weapons like boomerangs. When the Ace card is drawn he gains the ability to explode in an incinerating blast of light and heat that can vaporize almost anything. It takes him awhile to do this however and if the enemy is not fried when this occurs, it may take him days for Dolmeena to put him back in this universe.

Blackjack is an expert on all manner of gambling and knows the risk for almost anything, from skydiving to taking a bus to work everyday.

History: Blackjack was originally a regular human being who gambled his life away to mob bosses in the 1920's of Earth's history. He was saved from execution by the goddess of chance Dolmeena when she appeared to him in front of his captors and blinded them with a brilliant white light. She then teleported the two of them to the heavens and said that the man had two options. Either he could go back to Earth or he could become the living embodiment of chance and help her cause chaos in the universe, He of course accepted the second option and has roamed the universe, causing chaos wherever he goes.
