Cuspid looked at the piece of paper and shrugged. She had received an invitation a while ago, a much more indirect one. The woman wasn't stupid enough to bad mouth an organization that was giving her free UV vaccinations, though. Now they were all discussing balls, and formalities, and friendships. She felt older than she was, listening to this talk.

"I ain't fond of us either," Cuspid noted, popping off from the fountain. "Here seems alright though," She shrugged, looking over to the lines. They had rapidly diminished.

"Well, I should go get that vaccine before the line explodes again. You comin'?" Cuspid asked the other vampire.

Jude shrugged, and then nodded at Cuspid. "Yeah, I guess I might as well. Don't really have anything better to do at the moment." he said. "Besides, it is kinda lame being weak to sunlight."

"Is this vaccine only for vampires? I mean, I don't spontaneously combust or anything, but sunlight makes me lethargic and I start to limp." Blair asked, wondering if the UV Vaccine would work for her sun-related problems, which were relatively minor.

"I guess I'll just wait here then, if all of you are going to get vaccinated." Lorelai sighed, sitting down on the edge of the fountain and slumping his scythe over one shoulder, with the blade touching the ground.

Cuspid nodded in agreement. The sun was a stupid weakness. The dumbest, and it peeved her every day. Now, she could cross a peeve off her list.

"Hmm...Not sure," Cuspid said honestly, "Though, I hear the whole Hollow's supposed to get Vaccinated. Some sucke-I mean pyres were talking about it in line earlier. I don't see why it wouldn't help your issues out, if it stops us from friggin' combustion." At this, the woman smiled, but then half frowned at zombie girl.

"You can always come along, or somethin'. I don't know how much fun it'll be for you, I ain't really looking forward to it. We'll be back soon enough."

Cuspid shrugged, and started walking off to Tower Alba.

"Are you talking to me? I'm a human, I don't need a vaccine for UV resistance." Lorelai said to Cuspid as she began to walk off. "But, I suppose I might as well accompany you for now. If only to make sure Blair is safe with you two, especially you Jude."

"I can understand your overprotectiveness towards her, but come on! And it might be wiser for you to accompany us rather than stay out here where you might be jumped by a vamp with less control than us. You don't want to be food for those despicable leeches, do you?" Jude replied.

Lorelai sighed, and nodded. "That's another reason I changed my mind about waiting here. Maybe I'll just have to get used to you." he said, and then followed the two vampires down the path to Tower Alba. Blair followed shortly behind him.

Two vampires, a zombie, and a human wandered into the wood, having come from the direction of Verinotte Hollow. "So, you're all immune to the sun now, right?" the blue haired scythe-wielding human asked his undead companions, or acquaintances.

"If that worked, I should be not only limp-free in the daytime, but also rot-free." the zombie girl nodded.

"No more bursting into flames for me. Hmm...this gives me so many opportunities to try new things. Like, I dunno, the beach?" the vampire guy with the leather jacket said, somewhat jokingly.

Reisel stopped the vehicle a few feet before the formation of beings. There it hovered, staring, pyramid reflecting in the ever-shining hood of the car. The fogs began to gather again as the craft idled. Then, the front viewing port of the sports vehicle rippled and...Completely disappeared. There sat Reisel, dark shades covering his face, mouth a line, staring out at the scene.

He hadn't spoken since the landing, and half wondered if he could still. These people certainly didn't speak in his tongue, or whatever they were.

"Greetings," He spoke to the party, as another party approached in the distance.

Cuspid, however, could smell another vampire. A Detente vampire, to be exact. "Yeah, I suppose so," She said aloud, sharply looking ahead and spotting the glows of technology. "I'm ready to walk around in the daylight with my partner, he's a wolf an-" Her heart sunk as she spotted a vehicle ahead.

"Ah...Hey, that's...Detente up ahead. I should... probably best be off," Cuspid had been avoiding interaction with the group specifically. Now that she had her UV protection, she was eager to return to Canine. Before he found her.

"Oh, okay. See you later. Nice meeting you, Cuspid." Lorelai replied.

"Your partner? You mean, like a boyfriend?" Blair asked, curiously. "Sorry, this isn't a good time to be asking a silly question like that, is it?"

"Cuspid, I know we may have gotten off to a rough start. But, you and I aren't much different. Maybe you'll realize that soon." Jude said. "Aw geez, if you're trying to avoid the Detente for whatever reason, you should go now! This guy's right in front of us!" he added, as Reisel approached them and greeted them.

Boyfriend? Cuspid stifled a laugh and shot up into the trees, fleeing the scene. She reeked of Vampire, and was in no mood to tangle with a Detente vampire, especially not in front of a crowd. Bad publicity waiting to happen.

Reisel caught the scent of strange vampires, and turned his head to greet the newcomers. What a busy day in the Cursed Wood. When did the trade route become so...populated? He made a mental note to mention higher patrol of this route later.

"Hello there," There was quite the assembly outside of the vehicle.

Reisel heard the screeches from afar, and knew it could be nothing good. His senses heightened, and he shot a wary glance around the crowd. Damn his car for being so small.

"That sounds-" Gunshots. Reisel swore to himself and slammed the center communications module in the descorp vehicle. The face of Sergeant Dermaud swam into focus. He seemed slightly alarmed to see Reisel, but hid the emotion fast. As the Sergeant opened his mouth to speak, Reisel cut in with firm instructions.

"Armed escorts," Reisel tapped the display to send his coordinates to the Sergeant. After the coordinates were acknowledged as received, he signed off. The com blacked over Sergeant Dermaud's salute. No use for formality, not now.

"It's not safe out here," Reisel said to the two strange parties he had hovered across. His voice was monotonous in delivery, the grave implications didn't need any emotion to feel real. "Backup is on it's way but it's likely best we move towards the Castle." Could he bring all these people back to the Castle? Like hell he couldn't. He'd like to see someone stop him.

Werat'te managed to hold meaningful conversation that involved only herself, lost in her world. A babbling wall of text in her bizarre alien language.

Rebekka on the other hand took note of the other parties.
Not safe you say? Very well. For our sakes, please do lead the way. Lady Werat'te, let us go with them.

She turned to the other crystalline structures and spoke in a bizarre tongue, signalling them to keep an eye on Werat'te as they followed this strange group. Should anyone try anything funny, they'd react accordingly.

As suspected, the figures they spotted were indeed a blue-haired necromancer, wearing blue and grey, and a girl with pale, bluish skin and a tattered black dress. The blue-haired young man stood up, and seemed a bit surprised. "Matoya? What are you doing here? I thought you were still home in Ascalon City." he asked.

"Well I was, but then I got teleported here somehow. I know it wasn't anything I did, and it's not like Sayu was messing around with my potions or my spellbooks or anything. There was just this weird portal thing that showed up inexplicably and it dragged us in and we ended up here." Matoya replied.

"Hmm...I see. Hey, you're from this world, right? Is that kinda thing a common occurrence here? People popping up here by being dragged through random portals?" Lorelai asked Quote.

"Are you a zombie too? Or a vampire, perhaps?" Blair asked Quote, wondering why his skin looked so pale.

Quote looked over at Lorelei. "Ah well... no... sorry, I'm... not a Terra native..." he said, frowning a bit. "But... hey... it's Terra... anything can happen... so there's probably a chance of that..." the android explained, before looking over at Blair. Oh! This must be Lorelai's sister... well... time to explain what he was... "Uh... no... android, actually..." he explained. Huh... well... this was probably some surprising news to Matoya.

"Android? So, you're a robot then? ...And you have emotions?" Matoya asked, confused. While Izlendria didn't have robots, she had heard elsewhere that other worlds had them. Though, the thought of a robot having emotions was a difficult concept for even an intelligent young woman like her to comprehend.

"Well, this is an interesting crowd we make. A necromancer and his undead sister, a witch and her impish familiar, and a robot with feelings. Man, people might look at us weird if we stand around here too long." Lorelai said, somewhat jokingly. "Some citizens passing by already gave Blair and I weird looks." he sighed.

"Oh wait, I just remembered! Lorelai, we have to tell you something! And I think our robot friend here has some questions for you." Matoya said, remembering that she wanted to warn him that the man who ended Blair's human life might have gone through a portal connecting Izlendria to Terra as well, and that Quote wanted more information about the man they were concerned about.

"Oh... more than than just emotions... I was apparently designed to be as human as possible... but... I can't really remember who created me or why they made me like this.." he said, frowning a bit. As a result of his battle ten years ago, he was completely clueless about his creator or why they made him like this. Hell, the only reason he knew his name was because his fellow android, Curly Brace, remembered who he was.

Hearing Matoya speak, he looked up, quickly remembering his conversation from earlier. "O-oh right! Uh... Matoya told me about a dangerous necromancer that is apparently looking to hunt you down... I work for the police department and... well... I wanna help you guys out, so I'm going to try to get an alert on this guy... I just need a physical description of him to work with so we know who we're looking for..." the android explained, adjusting his cap a bit.

"A dangerous necromancer looking to hunt me down? You don't mean...Thanatos Hellion, do you?" Lorelai asked. "Yeah, sure, I'll tell you what I remember about him. I believe he had black hair, sort of wavy, and he wore a black robe with tons of belts and buckles." he replied. "I mean, I'm aware that Matoya has a few belts and buckles on her outfit, but Thanatos has way more."

"But, my belts are fashionable and practical, right? Why would Thanatos need so many belts on something as simple as just a black robe?" Matoya asked. Her question was directed to Lorelai.

"Yeah, you use belts correctly, Matoya. Thanatos...he just has them all over his robe and boots, they don't really serve any purpose for him. It's not like his robe is too big for him or anything like that." Lorelai laughed.

Quote listened to Lorelai, nodding as he pulled the notepad and pen back out of his satchel, writing down everything he heard from the necromancer. "Is... uh... is that all you can tell me about him, sir?" he asked, looking back up at Lorelai, brushing away a few strands of hair that were in his eyes.
