Captain Jacky Faber strode into the room, somewhat cocky smile on her tanned face. a hand swept her thick hair away from her face as the young pirate walked confidently to the bar's counter, hoping they'd serve a sweet little... her mouth curved into a wider, sly smile... eighteen year old pirate.

Captain Jacky Faber noted the older pirates in the bar with amusement, licking the corner of her somewhat dry lips. reaching around her torso, the young woman touched the shiv fastened around her bicep. hopefully the two wouldn't cause trouble. if so, she could always call in her mates. but otherwise, she smiled, she was a pretty entertaining, peaceable pirate. unless.... you messed with her the wrong way. maybe they'd like to talk? she raised a brow.

Captain Jacky Faber slid into the stool behind her, legs propped up very un-ladylike on a chair in front of her. crossing her legs at the ankles, she frowned slightly. what kind of first mate would leave his captain alone in this place, what w'ith the redhead being so drunk and all? she raised her brows and pursed her lips, shaking her head slightly. good thing HER first mate, James Fletcher weren't like him. she started, where WAS her man? she shrugged. just like him to run off. that's what friends are for, aye?

she noted the woman's stare and returned it with bright blue eyes, appearing non-threatening. the eighteen-year-old was a peaceable pirate captain, unless messed with.

Captain Jacky Faber stifled a laugh as the redhead slid in next to her, "ah, so ye ain't drunk? and yer mate didn't leave ye for dead in this bar full o' suspicious people?" her blue eyes shimmered as she spoke, humor evident, hoping she didn't offend the pirate with her firey spirit. sometimes words seemed to slip out of their own accord.

she grinned, "Jamie, me first mate wouldn't leave me in such a condition. i've got no tolerance for alcohol, but i've taken a likin' to rum." the eighteen-year-old leaned back in her seat, crossing her arms over her chest with pride, "i'm a captain too, pirate. Captain Bloody Jack at your service." she said proudly with a wink.

Captain Jacky Faber smiled again, revealing white teeth and a dimple in her left cheek, "aye... but me whole life, this is what i've lived for, Red. can i call ye that?" the outspoken teen mentally kicked herself for asking the adult that, "never mind, Capt... uhh... aye. anyway, i've got me a crew, got me prizes, tricked the enemies, killed more n' most..." she grinned, "hence, the bloody jack."

she regretted that title, it wasn't by her choice she was celled it. her best friend published books about her, saying things about her that weren't true, making her sound like a blood lusting woman. she wasn't. just a young captain with a crew, aiming for getting the biggest prize. she laughed and took a sip of her rum, delighting in the taste, knowing her right-hand man, best friend, mentor, and manservant, Higgins would NOT approve. she smiled wryly.

Captain Jacky Faber grinned as a young man strode into the bar, standing in the door way, "Jacky!" he called with a serious smile, "time to get back to yer ship, time to be heading out."

Jacky turned to her companion, "i've got to be on me way, capt. nice talkin' to ye. but that's my jaimy, and i've got to go." she stood with a grin and headed to the door, Jaimy wrapping his arm around his captain as she stood beside him. then, the two pirates walked out of the bar into the night, swallowed by the darkness.

Captain Jacky Faber noted Salazar Philemon with a sigh, walking purposefully to the counter, tapping in an order for a rum, glancing around curiously as she did so. leaning back, she eased her tired back against the bar, crossing her arms over her chest. she hummed faintly, low voice accented slightly, blue eyes peering about, noting the different patrons.

Captain Jacky Faber glanced at the weapons at Salazar Philemon's waist, blue eyes deepening. the pirate ran a hair through her thick blonde hair and stood. why not try to be sociable. ah, weapons.... she rolled her eyes slightly and smiled a bit, walking to where the man sat, "ey there, sir. mind if i 'ave a seat?" she gestured to the chair beside him.

Captain Jacky Faber raised a brow and tapped a finger to her lips, sizing the man up. she leaned back in her seat, "Salazar...." she tested the name and nodded slightly, feeling the time for her humor wasn't now, "me name is Jacqueline. but... you kin call me Jacky. i'm Captain Jacky Faber, of the Lorelei Lee." her deep blue eyes shone and she winked, "bet ye weren't expectin' that, sir."

Captain Jacky Faber nodded, "i suppose it isn't..." she hid her smile behind the glass of cool rum, "so.." she set the cup on the table silently, "so this is only me second time here.. for you?" she asked, curiously. her thick blond hair curled about her shoulders as she leaned forward.

Captain Jacky Faber smiled, "ah.... and.." she motioned toward his long coat, intrigued look on her tanned face, "what, if i kin ask, is your job?" she struggled to slip the accent from her low voice, feeling suddenly conscious of her street-born voice.

Captain Jacky Faber noted his secretive expression with a quiet sigh. all these shady characters, "so.." she leaned forward again, swirling the rum about in it's, striving to start a long conversation with her somewhat silent company, "how.. old are ye?" odd, random question. uhh, Jack, what the bloody 'ell do you think you're doing? trying to sound all sophisticated. she hit herself inwardly, slight grimace crossing her smooth features.

Captain Jacky Faber groaned inwardly again, exasperation she was sure, plain on her face, "...not too talkative, are ye?" she asked, brow raised. leaning back, the young woman crossed her long legs at the ankles and bit her lower lip in thought, out of habit.

something to talk about... with someone who only answered with one word, it was difficult to carry on a conversation and not be obnoxious. the pirate wished Jaimy were here... she ran a hand along her forehead with another small smile at the man.

Captain Jacky Faber coughed softly, "mmmmm well, it seems we 'ave slightly different backgrounds..." she smiled with a small laugh, "tell me about yer job, something? i find other land-people interesting. ye know, me friend Jaimy and i grew up in the streets, found our ways up in life, and 'ere i am before ye, a captain." she winks, "if it's not too pryin', can ye tell me a bit about... yer 'job'?"

always the talkative one, she forced herself not to speak too much. wouldn't want to scare the man away.

growing up virtually without parents, the woman pirate found it difficult to act the adult she was. though, she had many friends.... mostly men, ah, Bloody Jack. entertain the lads less, focus more on your ship. being the adult lady was difficult, yes. but she could be that if she pleased. the pirate just found it to be extremely boring.

Captain Jacky Faber raised her brows and stood, looking slightly agitated. she sighed and looked to the door, when-

-James Emerson Fletcher burst inside, muscled chest heaving, bright green eyes excited, "Jacky!" he called. as he spotted her, she looked surprised to see her first mate, "Jaimy? what's wrong, sailor?" she asked, setting the glass on the table as he spoke, "come quick, capt'! the ship's bein attacked, we have to move, luv!" he gasped out, waving his arms at his friend. she walked quickly to him, took one last look around the bar, and slipped into the night with him. cannons and gunshots rang out in the darkness as the door closed behind the pirates.

Captain Jacky Faber narrowed her eyes as she strode into the bar, door clanking shut behind her. she turned slightly to almost... glare at the thing that dared make such a noise, and shook her head in annoyance.

she'd had enough of her shipmates. her crew was irresponsible, filthy, foul-mouthed and--- okay, calm down, Jack. with a long sigh, she ran her fingers through her seawater-dampened curls and made her way up to the bar's counter. the young pirate swiftly ordered a bottle of rum.

sliding into a stool, she extended her toned legs before her, crossing them at the ankles with a rare smile as she let her gaze touch everyone in the room. anyone interesting today...?

Captain Jacky Faber tilted her head to where she had heard someone speak, nodding at the man and woman with a smile, "'ay there, sir and miss, how be yer evening?" then she blushed, somewhat embarrassed by her accent.

but why should she be? she'd grown up on the streets, alone. was it her fault that no one had taken the time to teach her the proper ways to act? no. she bit her lower lip and frowned, looking at the two. stop acting like a child, you're a captain.

she stood and made her way over to the two, drink in hand, "mind if i join ye?" she gestured at a chair near them, smile on her face.

Captain Jacky Faber sat down slowly, nodding to the woman, "thank ye, miss...?" she turned to the man, "so how do ye pronounce that? Fi-ayrce? Fia-craay?" she smiled, "sorry, i'm not so good with names, what with the easy ones me crew has. Jaime, Bill, Todd... all easy, aye?" she laughed quietly and set her drink on the table, "i'm Captain Jacqueline Faber, but call me Jacky." she tilted her head slightly, "ah, it's only me third time here, so you can call me new as well. there's a lot of pret'ey crazy stuff that goes on 'round 'ere, though." she raised a brow, "lots of fighting, usually, if yer're up for it. i usually just stay out o' it. i got enough o' that on the seas."

she smiled over at the woman, hoping to put her at ease.

Captain Jacky Faber "i'm eighteen as well.. though sometimes i wish i was older, ye know?" she shrugged slightly and let her eyes wander toward the newcomers. vampires? yes.

Captain Jacky Faber rubbed a bit of sand from her forearm, "ah, traveling is what i do best." she allowed a smile to spread across her face, "the sea, Fee. 'ave you seen it yet? it's so beautiful 'round here it takes yer breath away." she leaned forward, voice lowering, "and pirating, i regret to say. but i've began and i can't stop. i'm a Captain... not something ye'd expect from an eighteen-year-old girl, aye?"

she raised a brow, "how do ye make a livin?" curious, her blue eyes deepened as she rubbed a tendril of damp hair between her tanned fingers.
