At age nine, Carrena was attacked by a Houndoom while in a forest in the Johto during a trip to visit her grandparents. She was burned on her left arm by the Houndoom using Fire Fang on her arm and has had extreme cynophobia ever since.
At the age of 17, she became a member of the international police and received the code name “Calliope Valentine”, the last name being a nod to her father’s code name of “Valentine”. After finding the killer at 18, she lost her left arm after the killer’s Bisharp attacked. She currently has a prosthetic one that looks somewhat like a regular arm (Like this). She then resigns from the organization and works to help find the truth behind other cases as part of a detective agency with a Kalosian girl named Kasumi....
Personality: Carrena is usually pretty chill and just enjoys life. She's usually pretty confident, and sometimes acts without thinking. When it comes to Pokemon, wild or not, she'd help them out if they were in trouble or being abused. She's also very competitive and enjoys a good battle or competition. Although she’s a bit reckless at times, she has a good intuition that’s usually right a good chunk of the time.
