Personality

Carson has a rather solitary and matter-of-fact attitude. His calm and detached demeanor has been called "cool, hip, and trendy" many times. His naturally calm attitude is used to his advantage in battle, as it becomes easier for him to maintain his composure and stay focused on the situation at hand, and notice everything around him. As a result, he can quickly adjust to any situation to make keen and thought-out decisions, allowing him to stay steps ahead of his opponents. He seems to be highly knowledgeable in extraterrestrial affairs and technology, though how he has obtained such knowledge is unknown.

Equipment

Omnitrix

The Omnitrix is a watch-like device attached to Carson's wrist, which allows him to transform into a multitude of alien species in order to gain their abilities. It also servea as a repository for the DNA of over a million different intelligent species, preserving them in the event that any of them should ever become extinct.

Features

Unlike other post-Unitrix models, it does not rely on the Codon Stream for transformation, instead having the DNA stored within itself in a computerized form.
It adapts the user's clothing to the Omnitrix aliens.

The holographic interface

It has a holographic interface, where a holographic circle is shown, with the top half having alien faces, which is activated and scrolls through the aliens by the user touching the faceplate, akin to a touch screen. The faceplate will then slide open when the side button is pressed to lock in the selection, the Omnitrix Core will come out and when pressed will trigger a transformation. This is no longer used however since Carson has unlocked the Master Control, allowing him to transform into the aliens at will.

Carson Cadwell stepped into the bar shortly after the group known as Damocless arrived, the lower portion of his face covered by a gray scarf. He scanned the innards of the bar with a dull expression and noticed the four armed individuals seated in the left-most corner. A potential buyer perhaps? He would keep note of them. By the looks of it, their weapons were terribly obsolete.

He made his way to an empty table against the wall and sat down before pulling up the holographic menu. What to get.. He thought to himself.

Carson Cadwell couldn't help but chuckle at the remark made about Russia, though he said nothing on it. He simply navigated through the menu with his finger until he reached the drink section. Carson took a moment to look around the bar, surprised to see there was no banner that listed the legal age for drinking. "Guess they don't care about that.." He said to himself while ordering himself a bottle of Scotch and a liter bottle of Pepsi.

After mixing the two drinks brought to him by one of the tenders, Carson turned in his seat to face the four individuals seated not too far away from him. "Hey you, what's your line of work?" He said plainly to the group, raising his glass to his lips and taking a few sips.

Carson Cadwell shrugged his shoulders, taking Damocless' reply as a way to say they were unemployed. He wondered what was the need of having rifles if you had no reason to actually use them. Carson took a few more sips of his scotch before fixing his gaze on one of the large TV mounted on the wall near him.

The female reporter stood in front of what remained of Wing City University, just a few flaming pillars and piles of rubble. "This prestigious school was one of the recent targets of Terran immigrants, who in recent day have sought to gain equality by force. There are already an estimated fifty causalities in the bombing, but--" The reporter's dialogue was cut short by what sounded like a second bombing, shortly followed by the cease of the video transmission. Carson shook his head, and buried his chin in his palm.

Carson Cadwell shuffled into the bar and quickly made his way over to an empty seat, having bumped into the the pirate and ninja on his way in. He planted his butt on the wooden stool, and dove his hand into his coat pocket.

Carson pulled out a small disc-like object before setting it on the table. "Let's see if I can get this thing to work.." He said to himself while pulling out what looked like a pen, though it was a laser. The boy then preceded to work on the disc's interior with the high-powered laser.

"Don't lose them, they're heading to Wing City." Carson barked orders at the pilot of the Rustbucket III, which was currently in pursuit of an unrecognized alien vessel. He grit his teeth in anger as the space cruiser in front of them soared forward, completely shielded from their laser canons by some sort of barrier.

"Don't worry sir, they'll be halted for identification checks once they arrive at the Spaceport." One of the crew members said. Once the enemy ship neared the port, its pilots made no effort to stop. In fact, they did the exact opposite: blasting through fortified walls of the port with the cruiser's weaponry with relative ease. Carson groaned in annoyance, and plopped down in his chair as the chase continued.

Carson tapped his fingers on the arm of the chair repeatedly, bearing an emotionless expression despite his obvious frustration. Whoever these aliens were, they had managed to steal the most valuable warp devices in this quadrant, and there was only one source of energy powerful enough to activate it. "There heading toward the Sub Energy Containment Facility, we can't allow them to get there." Said Carson.

"What do you propose we do sir?" Added one of the crew members. Carson paused for a moment to think of a logical course of action.. he had it! "Charge up the Artemis Cannon, and prepare to fire." Upon hearing receiving his command, the multi-species crew went to work to prepare the Rustbucket's strongest weapon. "Firing in 5..4..3..2--" The countdown was cut short when what appeared to be an enrgy field exploded outward from the ship they pursued, which shut down all technology the moment it made contact.

This included the faithful Rustbucket as well, which quickly began to plummet after it passed through the energy field. "Damnit! Some sort of technology that acts as an EMP, brace for impact." Carson shouted, gripping the arm chair of his seat tightly. The slender ship slammed into an open plain located just outside of Wing City, tossing all its inhabitants about wildly as it broke apart. "Ugh.." Carson groaned while rolling over on his stomach, surrounded by the scattered remains of his favorite ship. He managed to stand up after a while, along with two surviving Plumbers.

Carson Cadwell looked around the crash site, deeply saddened that he had lost the majority of his crew members. He couldn't even remember the last time someone died while in service to him, he sighed. Once his senses had returned to normal, and the deafening ringing in his ears ceased, Carson began to speak to the strange creature that came up to him. "Who are you?.." He tapped the watch-like device on his wrist a few times before pointing a closed fist in the reptilian creature's direction, causing a yellow beam of light to eject from the device and scan him. After the scan had been completed, the Omnitrix generated a holographic image with detailed information on the creature that stood before him.

"A Reptilio-Sapien huh.. what are you doing this far from your homeland?" Even though he had just failed in a pursuit, Carson still knew what his duties were. It was his job to regulate extra-terrestrial activity on planet Terra, and a few other places.

Carson was suddenly enveloped by a green light which seemed to mask his transformation into one of the millions of aliens recognized by his Omnitrix. Once the light dissipated, he could be seen standing as the creature he called Upgrade; who was approximately 8 feet tall with predominately black skin with green patterns that resembled circuitry running across his entire body. The green circle on his head served as his eye and mouth, an odd trait. The Mechamorph dashed toward the ship that Kim'Loa retreated too, and upon making contact with it, he essentially merged with it; causing the entire vessel to take the same pattern as his own skin.

Inside the ship, Kim'Loa would be able to hear Carson's voice coming from multiple directions. "You aren't going anywhere without my permission, you're under my jurisdiction. Now what is this ZPM thing you keep mentioning?" Meanwhile, the two plumbers that managed to survive the crash stepped onto the ship, their armors assembling itself out of nowhere.

Carson Cadwell grunted in frustration before changing forms once again, this time transforming into Jetray. http://ben10.wikia.com/wiki/Jetray Carson used one good flap of his wings to lift himself in the air, and preceded to pursue the alien while the plumbers followed behind them. "You need to watch your mouth lizard freak, now nothing is going down unless I give the all clear." Just then a light green beam of energy would fly outward from his tail and move in Kim'Loa's direction, which would cause instant paralysis if it managed to touch him.

"Look, this gang of aliens managed to steal this teleportation device that was in the possession of the IBF, and I've followed them all the way to this planet." He said to Kim'Loa, disregarding his rude remarks to the Human race. "Now this teleporter requires a great deal of energy for it to function, simply because it is capable of creating wormholes that connect points light-years apart."

"The only energy source on Terra that is able to do that is the Sub Energy core at the Plumber HQ a few miles from here, so I suspect that's where they went." Carson hadn't flapped his wings for some time, suggesting that he had some secondary means of flying.

Darth Xalgan waited in the spaceport. He paced across the hangar like a prowling tiger, steel boots clanging menacingly on the metal grates. A dark cape flowed behind him and flourished as he turned directions.

“Incompetent Terrans…” the Sith hissed through his respirator.

“Cheer up, my lord.” Xalgan’s twi’lek companion replied. “I’m sure the ship will be all fixed up before too long.”

Vette watched Xalgan stew in his irritation. She placed her hands on her hips, fingers drumming on the hilts of her blasters, and kept an eye on the hangar door. Though she trusted his instincts, it wouldn’t do for a threat to sneak up on them while he was distracted.

“We can hardly spare more time here than we already have, Vette.” Xalgan growled, dark side energy churning around him. “We must return to Imperial space with all speed. I have been gone from my station for far too long.”

Admiral Steele was making his way through the spaceport, a very stern look about on his face, as he was flanked on either side by Aschen marines, each wearing their signature black BDU uniforms, with armored gear worn over them.

"Sir, your Condor will be arriving, shortly to take you back to your ship." The Marine sergeant reported. "Command has stared that it is of utmost importance that you return to Imperial space with all due haste." The Sergeant added, as the group rounded a corner.

Rythmic footfalls filled the hangar that Darth Xalgan was pacing about in. The doors opened up in the opposite side of the large bay, and a formation of six soldiers, in clearly identifiable Aschen uniforms could be seen. They clasped their disruptor rifles tightly, as they maintained their formation around a stern looking man, in a dark grey, and blue uniform.

They stopped about a hundred feet away, near an empty landing pad. Each Marine took in the sights all around them, and they fanned out around various crates, and equipment to take defensible positions in the event of a fight. Each soldier moved with the discipline that betrayed years of training, while the older man stared out the hangar into the skyline before him, then he checked his watch.

Shrknar glanced over his shoulder at the self-important Admiral Steele, who was just across the promenade. His nostril slits flared open, accompanied by a hissing exhalation of machine-assisted breath. The denizens of this world were... strange.

He had other things to attend to, however. Not to be dissuaded from his mission, he set out for Gambit's Bar to meet with his Terran contact.

"We've got company, my lord." Vette said, hand resting on her blaster and eyes trained on the soldiers.

"Calm yourself, Vette." Xalgan hissed, respirator sighing. "They're only Aschen, and if they were looking for a fight... they would have brought more men."

The twi'lek nodded, but she remained vigilant. Xalgan likewise ceased his mad pacing, straightened his back, and calmed his breath. Control. He thought. I am a Sith, not a wild animal. Strength, yet peace. Power, yet wisdom.

Xalgan watched the aschen soldiers through the dark lenses of his helmet. Though he doubted any malice on their part, he had heard the rumors, and so he opened himself to the ebb and flow in the Force to read their intentions. He was confident he could wipe out the entire unit in the space of six seconds if he needed to, but he would not be caught unawares.

Senseless violence was also unbecoming of a Darth.

The Admiral kept his eyes on his surroundings, and his Marines followed suit. Several eyes were on the Twi’ilek, and several shrill whines emanated from the Aschen group, as thumbs flicked across power switches, and several holographic sights, that weren’t there previously had flickered to life. Several Aschen soldiers powered their disruptor rifles, and Admiral Steele quickly took notice.

“Sergeant.” Steele said calmly. “We’re not here for a firefight.”

The Marine sergeant nodded, but cast his second nod in the direction of the Darth and his accomplice.

“They’re watching us, the Xeno has her hand on her weapon.” The Marine whispered.

Their intent was clouded by their hatred of this place, their Xenophobia, but nothing malevolent surfaced, the Admiral kept his own thoughts closely guarded, but he seemed to be waiting for something.

Darth Xalgan sneered beneath his helmet.

"Vette..." He said, loud enough for the marines to hear him. "I do believe that these aschen are afraid of you. How quaint. I can feel their hate... their disdain. They would be wise to keep their guards up. Few have seen a Darth firsthand and lived to tell the tale. I am not without mercy, however, and I find the wasted lives of perfectly good soldiers to be distasteful."

"Gee..." Vette rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "How kind of you. You are, by far, the nicest evil guy I know."
