Cerenah bit her lip. It wasn't the first time she'd been made fun of for hygiene. The first time it happened was at school when she took her own cutlery in for school dinners. "It's not funny," she retorted.

The bartender only shook his head, at the sink washing hands, glasses and bottles. "It doesn't bother me that much, the little lady is a sweetheart."

Cerenah directed a smug, striking look towards Siren and stuck her tongue out. Nyeeeh.

Cerenah 's eye visibly twitched at Siren's actions. "Ewww... And it's germs I'm worried about. Not dirt. Dirt is like mud or something, it washes off without much trouble... Germs are harder to get rid of," she stated, pulling an antibacterial handwash from her bag and using the quick-drying alcohol wash quite happily.

"Here's one drink, Cerenah," the bartender said, moving back to the seat. "How are the parents? I've not seen your Mum around a lot."

"Dad's okay. He's over there, see? And Mum's okay, too."

"Good, good..."

Cerenah 's eyes widened at the swearing, squeaky clean hands covering her ears. "That man says really awful things!" she called over to her father - her step-father, that is. "No wonder you didn't want to talk to him, Dad!"

"Here's your other drink, Cerenah. Say hi to Ginny for me - and your Dad, too, though I don't know him so well."

"Thank you," the girl said, still shouting before she finally lowered her hands to drop the coins on the bar and pick up her drinks.

Cerenah blinked, pausing to look at Siren with her drinks still in hand. "Uh-huh. Cerenah. Why..?" Her eyes glanced over to Sedra, who had just warned her to stay away from the man, but curiosity was pulling her towards Siren. "Hold on, Dad."

Cerenah , like her mother, wasn't about to give up that easily, and so followed Siren (and she dropped off Sedra's drink at their table along with her bag and jacket before trotting after Siren again). "You know my Mum? How do you know my Mum? Do you know my Dad? Did you do something bad to him?"

Cerenah scowled. "Why can't you just tell me? I won't tell Mum anything, come on! Please? You know who I am and you know my Mum, I have the right to know why!"

Character Portrait: Cerenah Cerenah says,
"If I don't recognize you, then it's because no one showed me a picture of you for whatever reason. I'm definitely old enough to decide for myself; I'm fifteen years old, not five. I am really sure I want you to tell me. And if you do decide to tell me, my Mum won't ever find out. Unless it's something really big, in which case I will vigorously reassure my Mum that I badgered you until you told me. For sure."

"Mum wouldn't have just told you to go away if you hadn't done anything... Did you do anything wrong?" she asked, an eyebrow raised as she glanced over her shoulder at Sedra.

Character Portrait: Cerenah Cerenah says,
"You are my father. I think it would have been nice to have a proper family when I was younger. I do remember a time when it was just my Mum and I. But now I have a real Dad and he's the best - probably a lot better than you could ever have been. I have siblings... And I should go back to my Dad."

Cerenah nodded, waving her hand. "G'bye," she intoned quietly before she made her way back to Sedra. "Dad..?"

Cerenah was a little more sedate than usual - which should've been expected considering the news she'd just received - a sip of her drink wetting her throat. "Good evening..."

Cerenah stepped into the bar wearing... well, it certainly wasn't 'modest' clothing. And her hair.

Good Lord her hair.

It was green.

Cerenah smiled sweetly at the bartender - once again the same man as beforehand, the one who knew how to wash his hands properly - and ordered a cola. "Thank you."

She turned the pretty smile in Teris' direction, although whether she was smiling at him or Helthas Sedra was another question.

Cerenah furrowed her brows at Teris - she really hadn't been smiling at him; her father was in the room, of course! "Uh... hi?" she waved back, polite and 'innocent' smile still quite in place.
