Name: Ciara Corrigan
Age: 25
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 130 lb.
Race: Human
Place of Birth: Terra
Place of Residence: N/A
Nationality: N/A
Occupation: Gypsy Vagabond

Free-spirited and wild, Ciara very much wears her personality in the way she carries and dresses herself. Her wild and unruly hair, vibrant and flashy attire, and extravagant jewelry all speak of a woman who liked to stand out in a crowd but who does not feel constricted by the expectations of society. Ciara is a vagabond living her life from place to place with little inclination to settle down.

So begins...

Ciara Corrigan entered the bar with a flourish, her long black hair as wild and unruly as ever. As she breached the threshold she stepped to the side and paused, as if expecting someone to follow her in. Her eyes sparkled with excitement at the prospect of such a place and so many new faces coming and going at all hours. A haven for one such as her.

Ciara fell into step next to Cassier as they both moved into the bar. "So come here much?" she asked him with a nod towards the bar. "Flinn mentioned this was the place to see if I was going to visit the city."

Spotting Raelin and Daralea she quickly ascertained that she didn't recognize them but they seemed to know Cassier. Furthermore, they were gypsy from the look of them. "Friends of yours?" she asked her brother.

Ciara smiled back happily. "A pleasure to meet you two," she returned cheerfully. "And I'd love a drink," she added with a nod towards the approaching bartender that Daralea had called over. When he reached them she politely requested to be brought a glass of whatever the other two would be having.

Taking up the offer to join them, Ciara slid into a seat at the offered table.

Ciara shrugged with an innocent twinkle to her eye. "The life of a wife wasn't for me. Father will get over it I'm sure," she said with a laugh. Even the clothing she wore suggested that maybe the life of a woman wasn't really for her, as she was rather brazenly wearing an outfit not at all becoming of a gypsy woman.

"Now that's something I can toast to," she added with a laugh and raised her own glass to Daralea and Raelin's.

Ciara took a sip of her drink and shifted in her chair enough to take in the rest of the bar and it's patrons. "Cassier tells me you come here a lot? Anyone of interest pass through here? Or just enjoying the view and pockets?" she asked with a soft laugh.

Ciara laughed at Raelin's words. "I'm not sure such a thing can exist! Surely it's just an elaborate deception. A ploy to lure his victims in," she exclaimed. Remembering the campfire tales from back home had her imagination running wild about creatures of deceit and shadow that would prey on the unwary.

Ciara sipped at her drink while watching Cassier with a matching look of amusement. It had been a long fourteen years since she had last seen him and a lot had changed for sure. "I take it he does that a lot?" she asked, recalling his abrupt departure last night as well.

Ciara laughed and leaned closer to the other two women, so as to not be overheard by Cassier. She was recalling the joke that she and Branwyn had played on Cassier last night.

"It does make him an easy target for some fun and games though." she explained in a whisper. Her voice lowered all the further and a look of sheer mischief filled her eyes.

Ciara continued to whisper in hushed tones with the two women, occasionally casting Cassier a few inoccent glances out of the corner of her eye. "I wager if we wait a bit, an opportunity for a bit of fun will come up," she said with barely concealing laughter.

Ciara continued the conspiratorial whispering and was well on the way to plotting how best to have a bit of fun at her twins expense. "So who wants to play the jealous fiance? And who wants to play the second girlfriend just finding about said fiance while he's flirting with yet a third girl in the bar?" she asked with a twinkle in her eye.

"Though perhaps not while he's with that one, she looks too wounded already for such a joke. But if what you say is right he should move along quickly enough."

Ciara let out a bit of laughter, unable to contain herself. "It's perfect! Now we just need to wait for our moment.." she said as she watched Gayle's sudden departure. "And from the looks of it, it may be coming. Just as soon as he finds a new one."

Ciara sighed wistfully that her joke would have to wait for another day, but it certainly wouldn't work without the other two. She simply looked too much like her twin to play either part. Finishing off her glass of wine she decided she would just have to wait for a more opportune time.

"Oh well, I'm sure there's more than one way to have fun around here," she said.

Ciara offered a light wave to Daralea as she also departed from the table. Alone now she made her way up to the bar to hop onto a seat next to Cassier. "Love life not treating you well today, eh?" she asked.

Ciara laughed softly at HellShine's question to Cassier, "Slap definitely, I'm not sure he could stand through a punch. Though he has a point, I've seen the girl in here often, and working with other tenders," she said with a shrug.

Ciara shrugged indifferently. "For having so many, there certainly seems to be a lot of complaints about the lack of service here. Just earlier I saw people helping themselves to the bar, and last night as well," she pointed out with another shrug.

"No matter though, I should be heading out myself," she added. Downing the last of her drink she left the empty glass on the bar and departed from Gambit's while jingling the coins within her pocket that she had managed to swipe from tables over the course of her stay.

A young gypsy woman flowed into the bar with a jingle of jewelry and a flutter of extravagantly colored clothes - subtle clearly wasn't in her vocabulary. With a mischievous twinkle to her eye she bumped lightly into Peter Rothwell and stumbled a step with an apologetic smile.

“Pardon me, I must not have been watching where I was going,” Ciara lied smoothly.

The stage was set for an evening of partying and the night still young, it was the perfect outlet for the young gypsy woman to apply her trade. With a mischievous and coy twitch of her lips, Ciara took the stage and began tapping her foot against the ground, keeping time as she worked up a rhythm with her tambourine and the bells adorning her wrist and ankles.

Flowing like water Ciara went into motion with a mesmerizing rhythm of flashing colors and ribbons and it didn't take long for the talented gypsy woman to gather a crowd to her performance. The group of musicians keeping song behind the dancer kicked off the evening with an energetic and vibrant note Twisting and twirling, Ciara more than dominated the attention of the growing crowd with her elaborate display.

Twirling her way to the edge of the crowd and hopping down, Ciara abandoned the safety of the stage in favor of melding into the crowd itself, her elegant twirls and spins carrying her through the mass of bodies that moved to let the dancer pass. Without breaking stride, she wrapped a scarf around one of the crowd, giving him a coy wink and blowing him a kiss before she was gone again, her purse growing heavier as her subtle movements were concealed within the flashy display of her dancing style.

Passion and exuberance adorned the gypsy woman's face as she worked up a sweat that left her skin slick with exertion. A few more passes and she retook the stage once again, finishing out two more songs before she retired from the spotlight for a breather, and to let the next band take the stage.

Ciara turned at the sound of Cailan's voice, giving him a quick once over look. Her face was still glowing from her earlier performance and Cailan's appearance only furthered her exuberant mood. It wasn't hard to recognize Cailan for what he was, a dancer. No, Ciara new her trade well and she returned the bow with a graceful, though slightly dramatic curtsy.

“Ciara, Ciara Corrigan. And the pleasure is all mine to meet someone in the trade. You are a dancer yes?” she asked.

Ciara returned Cailan's grin with a mischievous grin of her own. “Well, there's certainly not a more worthwhile love than the thrill and captivation of a crowd eh?” she replied.

“Though, I take it you won't be performing tonight then?” she inquired with an arch of her brow and a nod of her head towards the stage.

“Can't say I'm not a tad disappointed, you look like you could put on quite the show.”

Ciara let out a soft chuckle at Cailan's words. “That there is. You know, we'll be going up again later tonight. You should join us - half the fun is improvising after all. I would love to see what you can do,” Ciara offered with a wink and a twirl of fluttering ribbons and jingling bells.

“We have a few traditional gypsy numbers. If you think you can pick em up on the fly.” she added, with a coy smile.

Ciara was momentarily struck silent, before she let out a boisterous laugh. “Yes, yes, quite the poet you are. Admittedly, I prefer to do my dancing with my body rather than my words. Bit I must say, if you're half as good with your dancing as you are your romantic idealizations, we should put on quite the display.”

“Drink?” she offered with a wave towards the refreshments.

Ciara gave an indifferent shrug to the inquiry. “Here and there, I don't tend to hang around for long. But when I got wind of this, it was hardly a scene to pass up.” she answered with an amused chuckle.

As they reached the makeshift bar, she hardly gave the cup she was handed more than an experimental sniff before sipping at it inquisitively. What was life without a bit of mystery and excitement. Though she would need to pace herself, if she wanted to be able to perform later.

“How about you? City life is certainly a good place for the spotlight.”
