Claire Angelique MacGregor was a little unsure if she had gotten the correct address from her sister, after all reception wasn't always good out in these parts. As much as wing city would like to tout itself in being a well developed and modern city, it really couldn't much compare to the likes of Caprica City or Chasm City with the strength and quality of infrastructure. "Wonder what she's done this time.." Claire mumbled under her breath as she waited for Marlene to answer. Normally she'd have been in dress clothing, but today a jeans and a leather jacket with a t-shirt sufficed.

Claire Angelique MacGregor looked from Marlene to the other woman in the room and tried very hard not to put two and two together, only to get forty-four. Sighing she rubbed the bridge of her nose for a moment as she inhaled the smell of cannabis, unwashed bodies, alcohol and maybe a cigarette or two. "Please tell me you did not Shanghai this woman.. or worse."

Claire Angelique MacGregor glared at Marlene for a moment surveying her condition before commenting, "Since when are you a probation officer?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest. The two were different in many ways, Claire'd some how managed to rise through the military ranks, spoke with a very odd accent and had some very strange quality about her that made a number of people uncomfortable. "I wasn't aware that this lovely little planet you call a 'rat infested mud ball' was under your list of higher priorities. Especially while drunk, high and under the influence of god knows what." Claire continued grinding what looked like a cigarette butt into the floor with her foot. "But, a pleasure to meet you madam. Please, feel free to continue to corrupt my sister. As if she didn't need help enough already." She said her voice dripping with sarcasm directed mostly at Marlene.

Claire Angelique MacGregor took a gyro from Marlene as she listened to Ayasha. "Well it could be that he's either afraid or just no longer cares what happens." She suggested as she took a bite of the meat. Claire honestly hadn't had any sort of first hand information about the situation until now. Everything had trickled through in papers, reports and rumor.

Claire Angelique MacGregor groaned slightly as she saw a rather nasty argument rearing it's ugly head. "Technically there was a miscommunication, but who's counting?" She muttered under her breath as she attempted to go in search of something to refill her drink and possibly to sneak out for a cigarette. Her mother deemed it a nasty habit, but it wasn't like it would exactly kill her. It was really nothing more than a coping strategy, much like the drugs had been after her father's death. Unfortunately knowing her sister, she'd pull her into the argument and force her to take sides.

Claire Angelique MacGregor shrugged as she quickly and sheepishly pocketed a lighter. She didn't enjoy the dinner party either. It seemed that Marlene and her mother were on better terms than she could ever hope to be. "Let me go ask Mother..." She said as she walked off towards the kitchen.

Claire Angelique MacGregor started at the sudden noise. It wasn't normal for glass to break in the house of it's own accord. Frowning, she excused herself from the table to investigate. Three out of the four of them could defend themselves extremely well, in fact even had military or government training in defense. What did this person think they were walking into?

Claire Angelique MacGregor changed her course abruptly once she say Marlene's signal. Meeting her sister in the kitchen, she reached into her bag reaching for her own side arm. Preferring to carry a light weight, but heavy hitting plasma pistol; which she quickly checked the weapon before following Marlene. "Well that's a given, but who?"

Claire Angelique MacGregor nodded. This just seemed wrong on so many levels. The both of them had a number of people who would have enjoyed seeing them dead, but things like this only seemed to happen in movies and television. "Whoever it is, they knew where to find us." Claire muttered genuinely worried.

Claire Angelique MacGregor jumped ever so slightly, and grimaced at the sickening thud of flesh against the hard surface of the wall. God only knew where her mother had gotten to, but she hoped she had the presence of mind to hide somewhere; or at the very least grab some method of self defense. "Marlene?" She questioned looking for her sister. Somehow the two had gotten separated in the large house looking for the intruder. "Not good." Claire mumbled once she found the limp and bleeding body. How many years had it been since she'd been placed in a situation like this? Too many count on one hand. "Ayasha, go find my mother please..." She remarked knowing somehow that the woman was behind her. Claire could function on her own if she had to.

Claire Angelique MacGregor had not been expecting to be thrown backwards, through the hallway and land next to Ayasha. Her pistol having landed somewhere else, left her currently unarmed. Shaking her head slightly, she made an effort to get back on her feet. Sorely out of practice, this was likely not to end well. In fact for the last twenty years she'd lived relatively easy, no looking over her shoulder, or waking in a cold sweat at night. One could say that she had grown complacent. "Who the hell are you talking about?" She muttered as she got her feet under her. Hoping what she had seen was a hallucination, she tried to chalk this up to some half crazed... well she didn't know what to attribute these unusual events to.

Claire Angelique MacGregor knew she really couldn't avoid what was going on. But her mind was utterly blank, she couldn't think of a thing to say except, "Ayasha! Get her out of here!" Claire finally managed to sputter. What happened years ago was about to repeat itself all over again. "Call the police too!" She added struggling to get her balance as she rushed headlong at Darian. Tackling him might prove enough of a momentary distraction to allow Ayasha to get Madeline out of the house and far enough away. Claire felt that she needed to do something other than remain silent and stand by while idly.

Claire Angelique MacGregor was still out cold. Perhaps the only thing she was aware of, and dimly at that was complete and total blackness. A familiar blackness, neither cold nor warm. It was simply there. 'I tried, it's all I could do...' She thought slowly to herself. Whatever Darian had become, it was nothing that Claire could defend against.

Claire Angelique MacGregor didn't seem to be waking easily, but eventually began to come around. "Tell me that bastard isn't still here.." She murmured. Her head hurt something terrible, as did her neck and a few other places. All she could remember was Darian and something about the Ori. Hearing the sirens outside, she began to question her sanity. 'It is not winter fifty years ago... this did not happen.' Claire thought as she lay there on the floor struggling with the pain and swimming vision.

Claire Angelique MacGregor recovered quickly, it had something to do with perhaps genetics and maybe something of general Aschen medical care. "Ayasha, it will kill you." She said slowly making an effort to get the words out. Her face was bruised, cut and swollen, but with each passing minute seemed to be looking a little bit better. "These... storms. It rains, then it ices, then it snows. A winter hurricane. Is that what you call them?" She asked leaning against the wall of the hallway leading to the bedroom. "The temperature, it plunges fast. Negative digits."

Claire Angelique MacGregor sighed at mention of the shutters being closed. "Someone needs to shut them, and start the emergency generators then." She pointed out. Mollem wasn't helping any, as usual and seemed content just to make himself a pain in the ass for the group. "We're more than prepared here, but we just need to get things under way." Claire remarked as she headed back down the hall.

Claire Angelique MacGregor stopped on her way down the hall. "You're coming with me, you have a heavy coat hung in the hall." She pointed out matter of factly. Mollem wasn't going to get away with doing nothing, not this time. "Your more than capable of helping. Help or watch your house become destroyed by a storm." Claire didn't want to argue with Mollem, but she also thought that asking Ayasha to navigate in a unfamiliar situation like this was unfair. But, if she had to she would have Ayasha help.

Claire Angelique MacGregor she just shook her head and turned to Ayasha. "You and me it looks like." She commented seeing little use in arguing further with Mollem. "If you don't want to help that's okay, I can probably find a way to do this myself." Claire added unsure of how Ayasha would take the request for help. Grabbing a coat that hung in the hall, she hoped to make quick work of this task.

Claire Angelique MacGregor winced with the exposure to the extreme cold, snow and blowing ice, "Well we need to get the storm shutters on, and fastened securely, then head down to a cave on the cliffs. There we will start the generators and retrieve ration packs." She said struggling to be heard over the high winds. It sounded simple, but with the winds outside could be exceedingly complicated, and result in even more bodily injury. Pointing to the front of the house, a ladder was produced quickly enough from the garage to reach the shutters on the upper stories. "I'll take one side, you take the other okay?"
