Age: 29
Gender: Female
Rank: Countess of Ter'hien (A small county several weeks journey from the capital)
Appearance: Aila is blessed with well formed and refined features, framed by radiant and flowing brown hair that falls to her waist. Her eyes are large dark brown orbs, that are constantly thoughtful and searching, and she is well renowned for her glares. Her build is slim and dainty, and the very idea of actually getting involved in combat appalls her, much preferring to sit a distance from the fight and direct her troops with her decidedly tactical mind. In regard to her dress, she wears the midnight blue colours of her house and land, decorated with the cresent moon and stars of Ter'hien.
Personality: Aila is a cool and collected woman, careful to maintain a serene demeanour in company, betraying no hint of the emotions that might otherwise rage within her. The greatest indication of annoyance one is likely to extract from her would consist no more of a slight frown, or a click of her tongue - equally the greatest indication of her pleasure tends toward no more than a half smile, never reaching her eyes. This is not to say she is an emotionless woman, only that she controls herself so as to achieve a better vantage point in the political whirlwind that is the country of the moment.
Weapon(s): Though she disdains the use of weapons herself, she accepts that practically she should carry a weapon to protect herself if necessary, and as such she carries a finely crafted belt knife, with a silver sapphire encrusted hilt, that anyone would think was for display, though it is well balanced to serve as a weapon and Aila has learnt how to use it. All just in case, of course.
Bio: Aila is the daughter of the late Count Easted and Countess Dyelin Ter'hien, and the only child that they birthed before their untimely death in a house fire when Aila was but a child. From then onwards she has been the Lady of Ter'hien, beloved by the people who watched her grow up into the graceful and beautiful woman she now is. In the early years of her Countess-ship she of course relied on her guardian, who was her uncle, to deal with the everyday goings on of the county, but as soon as she reached the necessary age her uncle deferred to her, not being the evil power grabbing uncle who everyone imagines in the story books, but a truly caring old man who was helping his niece in memory of his brother. Aila has always been a just and benevolent woman, and believes in hearing the voice of the people, on the off chance that they come up with something useful.
