"Making me talk in full sentences, that's annoying."
"Carter" remains generally quiet, choosing to use as few words as possible to get a point across. Though of a stoic appearance, it is known that he is fond of drink, women, guns, martial arts, and psychological theory. It is believed that "Carter" will generally provide a flat expression in order to placate any he may insult with his clipped tone. He has a sense of humor, but rarely laughs, generally preferring to state "Funny," in lieu of a smile. The reasons that "Carter" walks around armed is well-concealed, but has nothing to do with any organizations or teams. "Carter" considered himself a 'courteous vigilante', taking the law into his own hands many times, as he feels law enforcement traps itself behind regulations to protect unnecessary feelings and abstracts that make come into conflict with the methods required for pacification.
"Carter" is armed with a semi-automatic/burst-action rifle that is slung over his back, of unknown make and origin. Various parts that can be recognized lead to the assumption that "Carter" himself has modified his weapon. On his belt, he carries two nine-inch hunting knives, and one foot-long combat knife. Oddly enough, the tips of his fingers are hardwired with electronic relays that connect to his nervous system, and regulate the chemical-electric pathways or produce wavelengths of 'psi' particles, allowing for total redistribution of energy at a cost of concentration and sharp fatigue for ten seconds. Though armed, "Carter" often relies on a combination of jiu-jitsu and kalarripayattu to defend himself, showing moderate proficiency in both arts.
"Carter" only has memories from the point where he woke up in a Manhattan high-rise, an apartment with spartan furnishings. Since then, "Carter" has taken it upon himself to protect his own ideals, which generally involve protecting those without their own means to defend themselves. If personally offended, "Carter" often rises to the offense with a light spate of violence, before returning to his doings.
