The creature leaned against him, feet trembling feeling her body strain as much as his arm was. The effort of standing causing pained sounds to slip past her lips. Skin coated in a transparent thin slime, not doing any favours with covering her still bare body. The only thing she had was the jacket the other had given him, and even still he would most likely be covered in those fluids, proving they did enter, or interact in some way. Those skinny arms hung at her sides, limp as the humanoid hydra tried to mimic his movement of ‘walking’ and was barely getting by with his help. Her mouth was slightly open, panting in the air, the new experience of breathing and ‘living’ exciting all of her senses. “Ngh...” Feeling him drop her into the seat her violet gaze drifted to Nael’s, confusion deep set within it. He heard him, barely understood but didn’t know how to respond. The girl stared, a blank slate sitting and confused about what to do. “...chance...” A response? Perhaps, or maybe mimicking.

Sick didn’t even come close to what she ‘was’. The black hair stuck to her face, clinging there as well as the longer hair that trailed over her body and stuck to things, everything. Her hues slowly turned to the ground, staring there seeming to zone out and begin to think or simply stare. But something, a tail, caught her eye from across the room... she wanted to ... jump on it. Her body leaned forwards, pushing with her legs but slipping on the liquids that remained on her body, falling forwards her body connecting with the ground in a violent ‘Thwack’ing noise. The girl was stunned, confused on what happened before she registered pain, and made a face. Lower lip trembling before she opened her mouth and sobbed, first quiet, but reached to something louder and shrill. The hydra didn’t register his question of a name; instead she attempted to struggle to pick herself of the ground that had hurt her. Only succeeding in slipping and continuing to whimper and cry in the continuous loop.

Her eyes teared up, feeling something cloak around her body and send a shudder over her body. Eyes glowing in turn before it stopped, feeling the threat leave she began to whimper softly again. Body growing tired after the small struggle and giving up on the small prize of tail, and instead lay limply on the ground. “...she thought... solid ...wonderful....” The female frowned at her own words, but having nothing else to use to speak. Her eyes shut, laying limp against the ground and enjoying the small chill. She could not answer his questions properly, she didn’t like it, she couldn’t stand and was displeased with this as well. The hydra... was growing tired. Just like the newborn she was.

She could tell they were both talking about her; they were all talking about her. The attention... she enjoyed it. This strange feeling brought a smile to her lips, and a mimic of a laugh, heaving air out with the amusement she felt in her mind. Attention. The mention of snow brought something to her mind, whiteness and so much cold. Such a memory chilled her to the bone, but not enough to make her shiver due to Nael’s air warming whatchamacallit. Her violet eyes turned to the mage, watching him kneel and the obvious struggle he was having with his own body. Again her attention was stolen, towards the other man, the Tiefling, and stared back up at him, confused about what he was expecting. Suddenly her eyes flashed crimson, coaxing a small gasp as she began to speak a word none of them had said. “D...Dali...n...da...” The color faded, leaving Dalinda now more tired than before and her eyes drooping dangerously low and still staring at the...demon?...

They still spoke to her, but she wanted to sleep, the exhaustion was still thick within her mind and her head had started to throb. This frustration, pain and confusion were voiced by a pathetic whimper. She could not voice what she was, he had not said it. Dalinda had only been connected for a moment, and only gotten a name to address herself by. But she enjoyed the feeling everyone seemed to like her name... fitting? It brought another smile to her lips, and a new sense of... acceptance? Perhaps that was pushing it. So soon as that tail moved her eyes were locked onto it, staring and again having the urge to grab it. Like a cat after yarn the hydra stared, watching it and ... ignoring almost everyone else. But it was not as if the questions they had where... reasonable to ask a newborn. Exactly what she was a new born, and anything close to a ‘reasonable’ answer was stupid.

The small girl glanced up at the...cat? Staring at the strange feline, blinking back at it and following it with her eyes, watching it go as far as to eat the steak and she immediately became envious... Food. Suddenly there was air, a swirl and she was no longer against the steady, sturdy ground and instead the air. Body tangled and things touched her, her eyes closed and she shrieked. Her voice arcing up to a incredibly painful level. Instantly the bottles, glasses, and perhaps even an eardrum shattered. But she did not struggle, and soon found herself covered in something and dropped unceremoniously onto the ground. Feeling the side of her head connecting with the ground she had just been craving, another familiar ‘Thwack’ and her vision swam. “...N-not fair... not wonderful.” Her lower lip trembled, quivered and she tried to struggle to her feet, her head swelling into a purple lump. Her newborn skull not prepared for such an assault. Dalinda slumped to the ground again, feeling a harmful pressure within her head.

Her lower lip trembled, feeling a small lift of her body but being unable to fight it. The throb in her head proving to much to give any sort of actual physical fight. There was a soft whimper as he pressed his hand against her wound, shrinking back a terror striking trough her mind. Knowing he did this to her, no matter what she did or didn’t know. Dalinda was far from clueless or stupid. There was warmth, making her head hot with the blood rushing to the wound but the swelling would remain. Giving pressure but there was no definite pain anymore. This made Dalinda... glad. Her body relaxed accordingly, wriggling within the tent of clothing, and feeling her body go utterly numb. Leaving her to sway, eyes glazed over. If Nael was luck when he slunk into her mind he may have found someone else, a faint hint of something, someone more. “...I... I am... tired.” Experimenting with words, and feeling another coax of pain. “I hurt...”

The words he said himself didn’t much trigger anything within Dalinda’s new dictionary, and in reality she was still trying to register all the information within her head now. Those purple hues watched the strange ... creation of a couch? Wondering what she cared if he made a bed, or a mat.

Dalinda stepped closer to the couch, feeling the way to big pants easily slip down her hips and fall around her hips. This went ignored and she took small wiggled steps towards the couch, turning and sitting on it. Felt... nice. She smiled, violet eyes starting to sparkle with her enjoyment and her eyes went out towards Nael. “Daddy!” Making grabby hands, obviously wanting him to join her but the most startling fact that she called him ‘Daddy’. Perhaps the fact she was half naked again, but Dalinda didn't understand the need for clothes or the meaning of them in public.

Dalinda continued to stare at him, her head canting to the side as he pushed the clothes back to her and the effort he was giving. He... did keep calling her child though. He didn’t disagree. Logic...? This thought brought a wide smile to her face, body straightening and drifting a simple inch above the cushions of the couch. “Daddy...” She mused, enjoying the sound of it. Now that she didn’t have to worry about struggling with the couch she stared at the pants, thinking. Easily putting them back on not even noticing she had levitated, and hovered back to the ‘seat’. “Daddy~ Someone is staring at us.” She gave a playful wink to her ‘father’, and then twisted herself to slump onto his lap and nuzzled closer. Humming happily and slowly but steadily starting to sleep...

"You keep calling me child..." The words ere simply muttered, getting even more tired as he started to play with her hair. Chest rumbling out a sound, a inhuman sound that should have belonged to a gargantuan dragon and not a small female. Her mouth opened giving a large yawn. "I always understood you... speech is basic, elementary. " She giggled, continuing to cuddle against him and closing her eyes, "...tired..." Was muttered once, before completely submitting to sleep

“Daddy!” Was the unrelenting and loud cry from directly above her ‘fathers’ head. Within moments the purple eyed girl was falling about two feet onto his lap. All in all Dalinda wasn’t that heavy of a creature, and while she didn’t lighten her bodies weight with her abilities the initial body slam should only wind Nael. Or... crack a bone if landing wrong.

“Daddy, daddy! Someone asked me to a room with them!” Her original beaming grin faded quickly to something more confused, pleading. “He said he wanted to ‘play’ with me but I said no! Because he had a creepy smile and a pedostatche.” Such words were followed with a whimper, sitting up her head canting at him. Ignoring the other two within the bar and focusing on the only person she found interesting to her. “... are you alright? You seem sickly. Are you sick? Should I get you some heavy medication?”

His response was good, because the fact he spoke with just grit in his teeth meant that she hadn’t broke anything. Her sensitive ears hadn’t picked up anything going under... too much strain either. But as he turned to the other people that were ‘fighting’ she snorted. A small pout appearing on her lips, disliking the idea of fighting at all. More so within this bar they were at, when she sort of liked it when it was quiet and ... it just got louder, she hated that. Dalinda hated noise that was not her own.
“I have no idea who the man was actually,” she shrugged, getting annoyed at the noises the people were making, as well as the noise from the machine. “He just randomly came up to me, and I decided not to like him... daddy. These people are annoying me...” She gave a heavy sigh, her eyes glowing a faint purple as her hands gripped his clothing and tugging till the threat of ripping was apparent. She pressed herself against him, breathing slowly and trying to calm herself like Tiamat had shown her earlier that day. Mm, Tiamat~

Dalinda sighed, hating his rather strong logic. Her body went limp, closing her eyes and resting against him with a small but lazy smile. Although the music, it was so loud. Those violent eyes flashed, waving her hand in a circular like motion around both her head as well as Nael’s. With that there would be a ‘barrier’ like formation around them. Hazy, purple tainted and not allowing any inside music or sound within it, nullifying the ‘vibrations’ of sound and preventing herself from a headache.

“Better...” She sighed, curling against Nael and blinking at the candy, grasping it and putting it into her mouth. If there had been a wrapper, it went in as well. She chewed, frowning for a moment. “Seems... okay?” Her powers were rather incomplete though, and she was still practicing controlling them. It was within reason for her ‘barrier’ to have surrounded the newcomer, Paul, as well. But she hadn’t meant to.

There was a simple ‘oh’ muttered at the mention of a wrapper. Catching on quickly and blushing a bright color while figuring out exactly what it meant to her taste buds. Inwardly she cursed. She glanced over her shoulder at Paul, her head canting to the side while raising her nose to sniff at the air. Soon frowning at an almost familiar scent. Her nose tickled as he sat down, and Nael and the newcomer traded lame first liners.

“You smell funny...” She suddenly vanished, purple shining where she had been before she landed on Paul’s lap, eyes narrowing at the male. Leaning forward, ignoring the idea of ‘personal’ space as she sniffed. “You smell like... like a ... you smell of ancients. Dragons... drakes...” Her lips pursed, staring at Paul in the strangest way possible. “Weak.” In what way she meant that could be taken in anyway.

“I am being polite...” She allowed herself to be picked up, shifting from the table back onto her resting spot of Nael. A small frown appeared on her face, swallowing the toffee that had remained within her mouth, ignoring Paul for just a moment. “All of the above...” Nose twitching as those hues closed, curling against her ‘father’ and dozing softly. She listened to them both, but said nothing to either. Mostly just ignoring the rest of the bar and finding herself irritated even while she couldn’t hear them.

"Drakes taste like rubber.. to much wing..." A random shout out, although being half asleep she didn't know what she was talking about...?

Dalinda said nothing to Nael’s question. Her eyes shone a soft red color, glancing out to the rest of the bar rather than on her ‘company’ of Paul and Nael. Instead she only responded with a shrug and a simile to a vacant wall. Her mind whirled with age old images, images that were both hers and not hers. But she saw them as yesterdays happenings, as well as her own.

Her attention wandered back to them both, hearing Paul apparently attempting to protect him and this drake friend. “Bonds are so over rated. All it does is bring pain, emotional pain, physical and all sorts of other crap.” The tiny hydra yawned, curling up against the soft strokes to her hair. Smiling and giving a ‘purr’ like sound that resonated around her. The barrier she had made was meant to keep sounds out, and not in. Even while she wasn’t paying attention it may have been noticed, but Dalinda at that moment didn’t care.

Dalinda was more than a little surprised at the ‘flick’, eyes widening before her nose wriggled and scrunched again with distaste of his actions. Eyes narrowing at her father figure with a new layer of annoyance. She listened, and found it only that it was up to the person to decide how long she had really been ‘on this world’.
“You didn’t tell me anything about being polite... “ Dalinda was in a thicker ‘bond’ than either of the men could imagine. Her once beaming face had turned into an unhappy mix of pouting and irritation. But she held her tongue, knowing that ... neither of them ... needed to know what she was or how easily it would be to tear this place apart. She grunted, turning away saying nothing more and just ... throwing a silent tantrum.

Dalinda’s own eyes followed to the small dragon. Raising a curios brow before her eyes shut, ignoring it as she was ignoring both Paul and Nael for the moment. Thinking simply, and ‘speaking’ with her sister. Romantic. If her eyes hadn’t been closed they would have rolled, not sure how ‘men’ spoke about I like that. Books seemed to be lying. She found herself being more directly addressed and her attention turned towards her ‘father figure’.
“... right. I’ll think on that. Depends.” She rose a hand to her eye, rubbing gently as a yawn broke past her lips. “Mn...” She waved her hand again, not feeling the need to keep the barrier up now that all the ‘hub bub’ had died down. It hadn’t really been keeping anyone out, but just sound. A more proper word would have been perimeter, and the color only shone because she didn’t’ have full control over her abilities yet causing the ‘stifled’ sound to become shaded as it was destroyed and silenced.

Her attention first turned to her ‘father’ pouting slightly as he moved through her body, making her tingle everywhere. Shifting herself on the ‘couch’ they had made yesterday and been lying on. “...kay.” Quietly promising herself to not get into any fights, and be on her ‘best behaviour’. Giving a weak and depressed wave towards him, and the puff of smoke that he left behind. Giving a glance at Paul, frowning before her attention finally turned towards the other ... creature.

“Hm?...” Her eyes narrowed at the mention of half-breed, but seeing the context it was used in she immediately relaxed. Lowering an arm to him, not sure if he wished to crawl up to be eye level, figuring it was what she would have wished. “You smell like a baby...”If he did wish to come onto her arm she would rise it, allowing him to be as close as eye level as they could be with his size, and her own.

The girl was rather pleased the little dragon had decided to ... perch on her, and easily rose her hand to hover his face near her own. Figuring he was smart enough, as well as ‘respectful’ enough to not go and bite her nose like she may have. Her arm did tremble, being in body far younger than even this tiny dragon. She was still adjusting to the muscles, and growing as strong as she was meant to become originally. However in mind was where that idea shattered.

“Friends huh?... You’re awfully open with that idea. But I’m sure I can make a friendship with you. But you have failed to mention your name.” Then again she didn’t say hers either. Dalinda glanced towards Paul, overhearing him and canting her head. He kept mentioning Ichiro, he seemed obsessed or couldn’t let go. Because... this Ichiro wasn’t here for sure.

Attentive purple eyes kept tabs on both the tiny dragon as well as the humanish creature called Paul. Ichiro’s friend? The purple hydra gave the tiny dragon on her arm a look, but spoke little when others were talking. The sound of all these dragons irked her inside, and caused a small bewilderment how dragons thrived but... the hydras had faded.

“Nice to meet you Theredax, you can call me Dalinda... I ah, have a sister... Yeah.” She gave a slightly weaker smile to him, following a shrug of shoulders before attention shifted towards the drake. Ichiro it was figured. Dalinda had a vague interest of attacking it and proving to both this Paul and Ichiro she was not weak, and they were not ‘all that’ either. Inwardly she was glad that she had promised not to fight, and just grit her teeth. Majesty?... “Quite the royalty we have here. What are you doing in this rundown bar?” Raising a brow at the ‘Price’, but feeling herself wake up with the ‘threat’ of the drake as well as Paul.

Dalinda shrugged once, glancing around because to her... this wasn’t home. Most simply put. Those eyes followed his small claws that threatened to dig into her skin. Figuring that the only reason he should break her skin was for the fact she was still considered ‘newborn’, but how long this status would remain is unknown. At least his... reasoning was sufficient. “I see... well perhaps one day... I’ll tell you.” What she was going to say, wasn’t specified but it may be something he had been seeking when coming in there originally.
Her arm lowered to her lap, quietly motioning and asking if he wished to sit on her lap or something else. It would also give her a chance to ‘look him over’ seeing as that a dragon was the closest thing they had to ‘baby hydras’ and until... things, this little Theredax was all they had. Dalinda completely ignored the Paul and Ichiro both though, she viewed them both ‘lower’ on the food chain and would treat them as such. Dragons?... she saw them as equal value, but only if they proved intelligence. Obviously this one had.

Dalinda appreciated how he did not dig into what she was, although it seemed numerous things were interested in it. Watching the small dragon ‘Price’ broad in her lap almost caused her to burst into laughter. She refrained and didn’t plan on possibly insulting the little dragon. He was... too cute to do such a thing. Amusing as well. All the things she needed in a friend.

About to begin petting him the hydra paused, sensing the other tense and keeping her hand back. Thankful for such as Theredax coiled up and unleashed a lightning bolt, causing Dalinda to quirk a brow. As he laid back down she allowed her hand to rest on his back, petting along his scales and testing how he ‘felt’. “Agreed if thoughts were meant to be shared they would be spoken...?” She shrugged, glancing towards Paul and the little Drake pausing her lips before glancing down towards Theredax again, feeling thoughts dip towards something darker. “Talk to me...” It was a blunt statement, indicated towards Ichiro, Paul as well as the lap dragon. Dalinda didn’t wish to pass out and felt her ‘home’ wasn’t ready for her yet.

The hydra just giggled, refraining herself from anymore than that by biting her bottom lip. Watching his actions and feeling that he really was but a child. And she just acted like one and her body was one as well, they did have some similarities. But as soon as the little dragon mentioned his father suspicion arose. But only her face allowed this to slip past, her actions kept playing with his body and vaguely wondered if she could snap his neck.... no fighting.

“Why? Does he want to meet me or something? Not sure if a dragon lord, king or whatever would like me that much. I must smell... fresh.” Meaning her bodies age, and such was true. She wouldn’t admit it to herself or anyone else, but Theredax smelt older than her and while he may be older, she could tell when something was aged, or aging.

Next her attention turned to Ichiro, her ‘bubbly’ personality popping as she deadpanned, “Your story telling skills are shit.” She snort the final say, closing her eyes and ignoring the drake after the miniscule exchange. If he did attack her... well, it was only self defense was it not?
