Dan Bloodline

''Father, do not strike your son, though he has done wrong. A great terror he may have been, but now redemption is at hand. Do you believe in second chances, father? Or has your son been condemned to hatred and bloodshed?''

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Mongo of fire

Description

An average sized man with crew-cut brown hair and dark yellow eyes. He's looks about twenty and his body often pulses with energy. His skin is charred black, and his build is far from damaged. He is thin and semi-muscular. He's immune to magic, so he cannot be healed by it or attacked by it. His bones are steel, after having his original ones crushed. He is pretty much bulletproof because of it.

Personality

Happy in a very scary way. He doesn't want revenge, or so it seems. He is still ruthless and will kill anyone that crosses him eventually...

He doesn't really want to kill anyone but those that are necessary for revolution.

Redemption is at hand. Dan sees the complete error in what he had done and now it's time to make up for it.

Equipment

A sword made of a material that is superconductive in temperatures up to 96.8℉. It is the only weapon he has and it's the only one he needs.

History

Four times dead, four times alive. Four ended stories, five in total. This is a brief run-through of Dan's life.

First life, Dan was mortal. He had a knife, which he accidentally got stuck in a light. This struck him with a bit of electricity, as well as putting out the light. He tried it again and nearly hit someone. That someone threw the knife at him, impaled him through the heart, and nearly killed him. Residual electricity healed the wound, but he would have died of clogged veins, as he caulderised them shut inadvertently with said residual electricity. He then decided to play pranks by overloading the battery of a laptop. The peacekeeper, Cryoface, wasn't pleased with this prank and cut off first his hand, then his head. Dan died and was resurrected only a few days later.

He next simply did mindless terrorism with newfound powers of electricity, pretending it had a purpose. He Tried undermining authority and made a few friends. He began undermining authority and trying to turn people against Cryoface. Not only did this plan backfire, but after a while, people didn't like him much. He was killed by, once again, Cryoface.

Dan, on his third time alive, found that he could use the media to hopefully start uprisings. He hijacked the news beacon every so often to attempt to stir riots. This was soon dealt with by the removal of the news beacon. Dan died soon thereafter by being crushed by nanobots of Motoko, after an epic battle of good vs himself which featured Cryoface, Motoko, AlFrain, and anyone else willing to throw a punch at him.

Dan was reborn again, his body now with steel bones, and he went into hiding for a while. He learned some new tricks, and gained a significant bounty. He went through a lot, but long story short, he died again, by burning to death, and of course, somehow Cryoface was involved.

Dan Bloodline stops watching him and starts watching Johnny Izumi. He blinks a few times, the electricity finally returning to his eyes from the surrounding beings and restoring the literal spark in them, then continues to watch him for whatever reason, not speaking or moving.

Dan Bloodline walks into the bar, small fires beginning to form around him due to radiation. The moment his foot falls into the bar, the fires cease. A grid of pale purple light appears on the floor, ceiling, and walls of the bar, roughly one meter spacing between each line. He walks to the counter and looks around at the patrons, sitting down and saying nothing more.

Dan Bloodline appears in the center of the bar with a temporarily blinding flash. He has a large jagged piece of steel sticking out of his left arm, as well as several of them sticking out of his chest. He lays on the bar floor, conscious but incapable of moving, and looks at the carnage that his body has become, not really sure how it happened.

Dan Bloodline hears what Jane says and wonders if that's how he got to be in his current condition. He stares at the steel bones jutting out of his body for a while...

Dan Bloodline manages to turn his head and look at his right hand, vision blurry from blood loss, and sends some arcing between the fingers. He then raises his arm, which is a great strain if you consider the wounds he has, and attempts to bring it to his arm, which has his steel bone sticking out completely, snapped in such a way that it could be used as a weapon. He puts his hand around it for a few seconds, trying to stop shaking so violently so he might be able to push it into himself...

Dan Bloodline can't even yell in agony as he's grabbed, and can't even begin to heal himself now that his ribs have been pushed so they are now sticking out of his back. He looks at Jane for a few moments before completely losing consciousness as the electricity of the bar flickers out.

Dan Bloodline awakens slowly as his ribs reform, the ones stuck through his back still there, but the skin healed around the exit points. The lights flicker back on as he looks at his left arm, watching the steel bone fall out and get replaced by a multiplication of the parts still stuck in his body. He regains consciousness fully, then attempts to stand, extremely dizzy...

Dan Bloodline reaches towards his back, pulling the old ribs from their current places and attempting to seal the holes they made with electricity. Nothing. He realizes he still can't see things correctly, then how weak he actually is. He walks, or stumbles, towards a wall and leans against it, absorbing small amounts of energy from the grid he had set up a while ago. This does nothing to the rest of the bar, and he slowly gains enough power to seal the wounds on his back. He then walks to the pile of former ribs laying on the ground and picks them up, carrying them out with him as he leaves, stumbling.

Dan Bloodline couldn't have picked a better time to enter the bar if he'd tried. He smiles and walks to the counter, seeming like a nice, friendly and overall good person. But people know him for other things.

Dan Bloodline A sigh escapes his lips as Dan recalls his former acts of terrorism. The overcharged bulbs, The spheres of energy, The dead police officers and disgruntled bounty hunters. Dan remembers them, alright. He remembers them fondly. But what had his shenanigans gotten him? Killed, that's what. Four times he'd died by playing with electricity. Four times he'd come back seeking revenge on the same person who'd done it. Dan is lost in flashbacks and will probably not respond to interaction. Not that it'd matter. People generally take the hint from other people that he's not a very socially accepted person.
