One of the windows of Gambit's suddenly shattered completely as a grapefruit-sized rock soared in. It landed on the floor with a loud thud, and all was quiet for a few moments. Suddenly the silhouette of a small child was framed in the empty window, hands heroically on his hips, and his dark towel-cape fluttering in the slight breeze. It was none other than Thunder Boy himself, the five year old superhero all geared out. His costume consisted of his makeshift cape, a dark grey shirt with a thundering cloud on the chest, black jeans and sneakers, elbow and kneepads, yellow latex gloves, and a genuine thick material Domino mask.

His big, sea green eyes scanned the taproom, his curly blond hair shifted majestically, and he grinned mightily, a large gap between his two front teeth. "No need to fear, citizens!" he called out, mustering his best superhero voice, "Thunder Boy has come to vanquish all evil!" And with that, he hopped down to the floor and began to proudly walk up to the bar, looking to order a milkshake.

Thunder Boy sat there, thoughtfully drinking his milkshake ice creamy goodness when the large metallic man walked in. The boy's big eyes widened from behind his mask as he took in the large and intimidating figure. Without a moment to spare, and not too much thought admittedly, he set the milkshake down, and stood up on his barstool. After he realized that wouldn't be quite enough to reach this robot's height, he silently hoisted himself up onto the bar top itself.

Once he had his heroic stance down, he pointed one latex-gloved hand at the android and shouted, "Hey you! You look super strong and fast. I am Thunder Boy, and you look like a good sidekick! Whadya say?!" He grinned confidently, the gap in his teeth showing, and closed one eye in a charming little wink.

The boy's grin and pointing finger persisted until the Iron Giant walked away. When that happened, the boy resumed his heroic hands-on-hips stance and proclaimed, "You are too cool! Iron Giant, I shall call upon you in times of need. And we will be friends!" Thunder Boy nodded confidently and then looked down as his leg was tapped. "Huh?"

He squinted his big eyes to read what the lady had written and then gave what may have been a very rehearsed heroic laugh, "Oh citizen, don't you know that I am a superhero? I have faced much worser than this bar. In fact, just the other day, I climbed up on top of Old Man Jeff's house, my nemesis, and didn't climb down until he threw his cane at me!" He smiled proudly, his scabbed chin jutting out.

"What do people...call...you by? What do people call you by?" he read aloud to himself before his brave grin returned to his masked face. "Of course I can't tell you my real name, lady!" he exclaimed. "I'm a superhero; there wouldn't be any reason for a secret identity if I did that!" He gave her a closed-mouth nod, as if disappointed that she wasn't a professional on this. That was okay though, that's what he was there for, to help those in need, whether it be from villains, or for further knowledge!

"I am THUNDER BOY!" he cried out excitedly, his hands returning to his hips once again. "If there is ever a citizen in need, I shall save them. If ever a disturbance in the law, I shall fix it! And now I have a sidekick! The Iron Giant!" He pointed to the super soldier sitting by himself. "And now I shall perform... oh my God is that a PSP?!" He suddenly exclaimed, a truly hopeful look on his face as he watched the heavily armed woman walking in, not quite noticing the men surrounding her.

Thunder Boy slid down the stairs on his bum, step after step, just sliding down, giggling all the way. He was in costume, a dark blue towel-cape, dark grey shirt with a thundering cloud on the chest, black jeans and sneakers, elbow and kneepads, yellow latex gloves, and an actual thick material black Domino mask. Once he reached the bottom of the steps, he proclaimed loudly and proudly, "No need to fear, citizens! Thunder Boy has arrived!"

And with that, the blond, curly-haired five year old began to make his way over to the bar. His big grin revealed a large gap in his front teeth, his big sea green eyes behind his mask large and curious.
