A flash of light Shines in the distance. It was bright. Bright enough to see from miles. It was as if a nuclear bomb had been set off, but no crater had been left. Nor radiation. But a man was left there. Wearing a blue and white jumpsuit with the numbers 101 on it. his name, was jack. Jack looked around the new territory. It was dusty.....must be back in the capital wasteland. He took another look around.....no destroyed buildings. Mohave wasteland? He look up and he saw a planet. It was daylight.....and it wasn't the moon. Defiantly wasn't the moon. He wasn't even back on earth. "DAMN IT! You do one, ONE modification on a tele porter, It sends you to a different planet......and its not even pretty." Jack yelled at himself. He needed to get back to Janet.....but for now, he was stuck here, and his teleporter, or the "ransportalponder" Was fryed.

Lukas was about to say welcome, when a bright flash blinded him momentarily. He yelled rather loudly and suddenly, and even threw one of his liquid grenades up in midair. He felt his amulet trigger, and he recovered almost immediately. He saw that the flask he'd thrown was above Mae, and pushed her out of the way. Soon after, he heard the crash of his bottle fall, and the hiss of one of his acidic grenades burn through the floor. He looked at himself, and at Mae, and at the robot. Were they OK? Was he OK? FUCK, he was NOT okay. He yelled at the top of his lungs as a small portion of the brew fell on his left hand, and reduced it to raw bone.

He calmed down as his hand went numb. He took a water bottle, and washed off the remaining acid on his bony hand. He stared at it; the only reason his skeleton hadn't fallen apart is because of his magic amulet, which he had filled with his strongest medicinal brew that morning. It would take a few hours, but his hand would regenerate. He was sure of it.

A scream peirced Mate's pointed ears as she felt a sudden shove, sending her to the ground. On instinct, she scrambled to her feet and drew her sword. What she saw made her shudder. The flesh melted off of Lukas's hand, leaving it a skeletal frame. The smell of bacon covered in chloroform filled the air, making her eyes water. a high pitched noise pounded her eardrums, and she realized it was her own screams of shock and fear. Gasping for breath she attempted to ask If he was ok, but faltered mid-sentence. The sight was so gruesome that she began to feel lightheaded. Her hands shook as her sword fell to the ground with a thud. Backing up, she tried to process the situation. An unfamiliar voice echoed through her thoughts, but was lost in the confusion. Her knees buckled, and she fell to the ground, unconscious.

"My goodness, Mae! TSSST!"

Zephyrus's first instinct was to aid Mae, but held back after he noticed the splash from the acid affected his entire chassis. Within a matter of seconds, Zephyrus was returned to his rusted bronze state. As a side effect from Lukas's potion however, the acid died reasonably quickly before any serious damage could be done. He glanced at Lukas. "L-L-L-Lukas, your hand..!" His new friends had been damaged, and it caused something to react deep within Zephyrus's ASP. ANGER? HOW INTERESTING. It was this stranger's fault. All of it. Zephyrus refused to respond to his greeting. From his perspective, this stranger deserved some form of violence as compensation.

INITIATE THREAT.

"I am increasing my boiler heat by 700%." INCREASING BOILER HEAT BY 701%. "If you c-continue to m-m-m-m-move towards us, I will assimilate my partner's injury on you." Zephyrus turned to Lukas and lowered his volume as he spoke to him, panicked. "Lukas, sir, what do we do? I cannot tell madam Mae's condition." Zephyrus's assumptions forced him to believe it was them against Jack. Perhaps he was being too rash, but it was moments like these that were critical for the ASP's function.

Lukas was quiet for some time before he responded to... Zephyrus. Tears in his eyes, he eventually said "Mae seems to have blacked out..." He checked her more carefully. "She's unharmed." He looked at the robot, and cringed. OK, maybe he wasn't the only one to be injured. He went back to staring at his hand, his bony white hand. He took another long pause before declaring "I'm... OK. I'll recover soon enough." Then, he saw what had caused all of this. "Hey, who the fuck are you? Did YOU do this?" he yelled at the stranger. However, he wasn't the only one angry at him; he noticed the robot was steaming. Literally. OK... this could end badly. He hoped whoever that guy was had a good excuse before him, her or the robot decided to take matters into their own hands.

Hey, who the fuck are you? Did YOU do this?" The man asked

Jacked backed up a little bit. In coinheritance with the Bronze man. The thing was literally steaming, and he fought mad robots before. Never ends pretty. Jack looked at the man, according to the robot, his name was Lukas. Then he aw his hand. "Holy Shit....What the hell happen to your hand?!" It was literally a skeleton! And how the hell was it staying together?
He looked at Lukas "Um.....I have something for your hand....and I don't know what I caused, Im not even of this world......My names Jack, And were am I?" He stepped back from the robot. He dealt with Mister Gutsies, but not this. Who knew what weapons it had.

Lukas yelled at Jack rather matter-of-factly "You're in the desert world of Blackrock. And YOU, my friend, have a problem on your hands." He pointed with his bony hand, and continued " First of all, I'M MISSING MY HAND!" Lukas normally isn't this rash about things, but once bodily harm is factored in, he really gets mad. "Second, SHE just flopped over, and I'm not even sure if she's OK!" He felt his still-meaty hand clench, as he kept hollering over the sound of the wind. "And FINALLY, the robot almost MELTED! All because of YOU and whatever the hell caused that flash that triggered our horrendous chain reaction!" He took a few steps toward Jack, rage burnt into his eyes. "So you better have a good explanation for all this shit, or so help me, I will pour the strongest poisons at my disposal DOWN YOUR THROAT!"

Lukas suddenly calmed down, breathing heavily from the rant and his less-than-great condition. He took a deep breath, and willed himself into control. Ugh... He hated when he blew up like that. He stood a few meters away from Jack, arms crossed and foot tapping.

"look.....I think when I teleported, My Transportalponder broke, and caused a huge flash of light. Now im stuck here. And Im sorry for your friends condition, But I think I can help." Jack said calmly as he can. Jack pulled out a syringe with white liguid inside, one of the best stimpacks he had, and looked at Lukas, with a straight face, "Let me help your....um, hand"

Zephyrus had an enormous amount of difficulty reading the situation. All these conflicting emotions, they made everything so complicated. Upon seeing it, Zephyrus knew exactly what it was: A stimpak. It might actually help, but the bot was too conflicted to support Jack's offer. POSSIBILITY: TURN ASP OFF, TACTICAL ADVANTAGE WOULD MOST LIKELY INCREASE. Wait, what was it Captain Darky said about turning the ASP off? "Zephyrus, NEVER turn the ASP off!" Maybe that wasn't such a good idea, then. This Jack character had something Zephyrus hated. Despised, even. Is it really any of them, though? If Zephyrus's ASP was faulty, do any of his emotions carry any merit? Now was not the time to think this through. NERVE. I HATE HIS NERVE. With the situation remaining to look bleak, Zephyrus thought he had better contribute in some way. He took a step towards Jack, still boiling.

INITIATE INSULT.

"I hate your nerve." Embarrassingly, Zephyrus realized he was still speaking in his lowered volume. However, he thought the whispered insult might carry some extra depth or something. He had no idea. Zephyrus stepped back and wandered over to Mae.

"Madam Mae? Are you ok-k-k-k-kay?" Maybe a touch from his boiling hot finger would wake her up. Maybe. He decided he'd wait on that option and continued to observe the situation at hand.

Lukas was still mad at Jack, too bothered to take his offer. He answered "Thanks, but I got my own ways of treatment." He took a white-gray flask from his backpack. He gulped it all down, and immediately regretted it. Eeeeuuugh... God, he had to fix that TASTE, Jesus Christ! As he gagged for a moment, he felt its effects kick in almost immediately. His blood began rushing, he felt a bit jumpy as the accelerant catalysts in his blood superpowered what once was a subtle regeneration brew. He marveled at himself, as he saw his bony hand grow its meat back in less than a minute. He made sure he could actually move his hand before saying "Damn, I'm good at this."

All of a sudden, he remembered about Mae. "Oh, Mae!" He ran up to her, still very twitchy from his last brew. He gently slapped her face a few times. Hopefully, she wouldn't wake up to stabbing him.

Mae's eyes gently fluttered open as she instinctively punched Lukas in the gut. Realizing her mistake she apologized instantly. "Lukas! I'm so sorry!
I didn't mean to do that! Are you ok?" She hoped it wasn't very hard... Remembering what had happened beforehand, (pun intended) she looked for the skeletal mess of a hand that Lukas had given himself. Seeing that it was no longer there, she assumed it was just a trick of the light that had happened. She got up and brushed herself off, whilst sheathing her dropped sword. Looking around, she noticed the stranger standing about ten feet away from them. "And what do you call yourself, mate? I'll just take the liberty of assuming that you were responsible for that blinding flash of light, seeing your clumsy attempt to compensate for it. Do you realize you could have killed him?!?" She grabbed the collar of the man's shirt, pulling him close and pulled out her dagger. "I 'outta remove your gizzard right this instant unless you can explain yourself..." She held the blade up to his neck, impatiently waiting for an answer.

REEVALUATING STATE OF AFFAIRS

There were some serious moral dilemmas processing in Zephyrus's core after he'd cooled down (literally). 30th 19th Century programming at its finest, but even that wasn't enough for him to assume a definite solution. He'd have to guess. He honestly didn't feel too bothered by Jack dying at the moment and it didn't look like he was going to give an answer anytime soon. She had the sufficient amount of bloodlust, why not just let her be done with it? There seemed to be a subroutine for every other blasted thing he could do, why wasn't there one for this? Perhaps he'd design his own.

INITIATING MORALITY V.1
IN ORDER: TOPIC SENTENCE, STATE INTENTION. PROCEED TO APPEAL TO HATRED. PROCEED TO APPEAL TO COMPASSION. SURREALIST STATEMENT. FINISH WITH QUIP.
"Muh-Muh-Muh-Must we consume our desirable time in removing the gizzard of this dubious individual? His death may be warranted, but it is also unnecessary. TSSST. This unit is a fool, madam Mae. It will be a far more gratifying result and a horrendous torture if we were to leave him alone in Blackrock wilderness. TSSST. Life is sacred. TSSST. Spiderwebs do not sing of pain. TSSST. And if he f-f-f-f-follows us, I'll melt his face! Oh, the hilarity!"
Zephyrus kept his distance, and allowed Mae to properly take in his masterfully crafted speech. He looked to Lukas and tilted his head, as if to gain approval of his accomplishment.

"You know what?" Lukas declared after hearing the android's speech. "Zephyrus is right." He took a good look at Jack, still in the grip of Mae. He stared at him, as he took a small vial of blood-red liquid and gulped it down. Egh... the taste was horrendous, but what he was going to do was going to be oh-so-sweet. He motioned to Mae to let go of Jack; she complied. Then Lukas decided to fill in, and with the help of the strength boost he had taken, he grabbed Jack by his shirt and raised him up, off of the floor. He strained a bit to hold him, as he said: "You're not worth the blood on our hands. Which is why we'll let this planet do our dirty work."

With a loud grunt, he pulled his arm back and threw Jack a clean 20 feet away. "And if you even bother to follow us," he then yelled to the stranger in the distance, "Zephyrus here will melt. Your. Face."

As he felt the effects of the tiny vial fade, he began walking to the northeast, and said "C'mon guys. Our objective is this way."

Realizing that Zephyrus was most likely right, she watched Jack fly through the air as if he were a simple stone. Chuckling to herself, she followed Lukas. This so called "objective" they were coming to looked just the same as the rest of this blasted desert. She squinted and shaded her eyes from the sun as she peered into the distance. Still nothing. Even with her fine elven vision she couldn't see what they were journeying towards. She hoped this wasn't a trap. Turning around, she saw Jack standing in the distance. Even though they were far, she could sense the anger around him. "I hope he doesn't come back for us." She said to no one in particular as they continued walking. Even though Zephyrus had given his...threat...She still feared his return. She had no idea of what weapons he possessed. Had they made the wrong choice throwing him into the desert like that? Maybe she should have made a clean cut to his throat and gotten it over with. After all, what if lukas's potion had landed somewhere else and killed him? It would have been completely his fault. A life for a life. Then again, revenge would lead to nothing. She didn't need another murder on her "spotless" reputation. Slipping her dagger under her cloak, she continued to follow them.

The soldiers aid no mind and politely told the disguised Fireknaughts abnd answer there questions politely, telling them the great commander, Chris Warwick, and the president, Hightop, were bickering in the tent on the hill. As they walked through the Columbian camp, the Fireknaughts saw soldiers helping the populace get settled by helping them build make shift tents. Many other soldiers were training, sparing, and exercising, some pacing bets on how much one can lift without a exo suit or power armor. Fire arms training was also being used, gauss assault rifles being fired on cans and bottles, and betas were placed here to. Mining was also being conducted with pick axes and shovels....

Once the disguised Fireknaughts near the un guarded tent, the president, a taal man with black hair, blue eyes, and a rough beard wearing a grimy bussness suit, was helping an official ration the little supplies they had left. "We make sure the wemon and children eat first....i don't want children starving. The men can do without right now....including me...." He said to the rationer. The official looked at him. "Those men fought for this country!"

Hightop rose "And those children deserve to die!?" He shouted. "Im Sure the military would agree with this....if i see one man eating while a child begs for food ill kill him myself!'

The official huffed and left, looking at the Fireknaughts. "Get out while you can...rather die by some damn alien than starve....''

Hightop started rubbing his temples...."What now?" he said, irritated

~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~
Chris Warwick was on scouting patrol. His heav set of pristine magnetic repulsion system power armor, which actually seam to glow from the electromagnetic field around him, gleamed in the sunlight. He and 4 other scouts wearing less advance, way less protective exo skelingtons, carrying 20mm gauss sniper rifles walked with him. Chris had his helmet on for the first time. and his 20mm gauss sniperrifle was on his back, along with the other scouts. As they walked the harsh dessert, they heard distant chanting about a....blood god..'..oh shit.....' the commander thought. He put his had up, stopping the other scouts. They quickly took cover before they were spotted, taking strategic positions for an ambush......then they saw them.....mutant abominations wearing red and black, chanting about a blood god...guns big enough to take on a army....He called it in....
"Back up....we need 10 thousand soldiers pronto...." He whispered. they were hidden good, camouflage was active...as long as they stood still, at least. They each picked an important looking target....
There was no response except for a yes sir. 10 thousand soldiers with various armors and firearms started moving to where they were called....there armors gleaming, and there weopons ready. The NUCs stars and stripes in plain view. Heavier soldiers were in the front, with large power armors, some looked scavenged and pieced together, others, more prewar, some even had energy shields on them. They carried heavy weapons, such as plasma cannons, to gauss miniguns, to even a Big Boy Nuclear catapult., which only about 2 soldiers had.......the soldiers in the back had gauss hunting rifles, gauss assault rifes and laser weaponry. All of them wore lighter power armors to exo suits. They were ready for a fight.
The scout rolled away from the sorcerer, but was now helpless on the ground, trpushing himself up...time to little to waste. The Snipers trained and swung there rifles at the sorcerer, and fired the heavy 20mm accelerated bullets at the him, the bullets wizzing in the air. Commander Chris Warwick Charged into battle despite the scouts attempts to stop him. He fired his rifle in rapids, trying to gun down this force with his own will. These people attacked without provoking. They were not here for diplomacy, and he was damn sure not going to let them hurt the civilians of what was left of the New Union of Columbia.
"For Columbia!" He yelled, swinging his rifle like a club with no time to reload. Bullets seam to fly away from him due to the glowing electromagnetic field around his armor. Even gauss shots from friendly fire. But the little battery gauge on his HUD told him he couldn't last much without it...
The Scouts began shooting at any abomination that got close to there army, and the scorcerer.
Some of the heavy power armored troops fell from invading gunfire, there armrs being dented, shot through, or even blown to shreds by various gernades that was thrown at them. Medics raced around, trying to heal the wounded as much as possible, but it was to no avail for some. The heavy troops still held together, shooting high velocity gauss rounds at swarms of enemies, the miniguns twisting till there red hot. Flamers scorched and burned at close targets, and a Big Boy miniature nuclear catapult was launched at a group of the horde, but a few soldiers were caught in the blast radius, scorching them and turning one of them to ash. Lasers and bursts fire was being fired from behind the large soldiers, using them as much needed cover. The battle raged....The New Union of Columbia had to keep this place....it was there new home....they had nowhere to go....They faught with more porpose than what was possible.
~~~~Mean While~~~~

Hightop looked at the Fireknaughts, with confusion and fear in his eyes.

"Wait! Your aliens?! But your human like us.....And what do you mean? There's nothing here! Its a wasteland like our home....only richer in recourses.....'' He said looking at them. "Why help us? Whats in it for you? And.....if what your saying....is true.....oh Atom!" He banged his head on his desk. "Why cant anything go right!" He rubbed his head. " Ok....Tell me more about this....Aschen....place......group...thing....can they really destroy a planet? A whole planet....." He seam to went a little mad....."Can you care and house all of us? All 1,500,000 of us?" He asked....Oh the council would have a field day!

A sound like thunder on a drum repeated a thousand times across the sky, and the air was rent with light as from high above thousands of falling objects descended towards the Chaos army.

As each of the objects fell, an intense and powerful force pressed against the mind of the chaos lord, as though light and goodness itself was assaulting his will and corrupted soul. A part of him, no matter how small, would be reminded of what it was to be human, to be alive, to exist in the light.

Upon impact with the ground each of the objects would explode in a radiant nova of light which was to the Chaos soldiers an acid uncleansable and resolute. In the center of these detonations stood the tall, strong, and immovable Starsteel Golems of the Legion Warriors.
These constructs would begin charging through the ranks of chaos soldiers, smashing, crushing, breaking, bashing and tearing the tiny things that stood beneath their fifteen meter hulking girth.

Soon after their arrival, several more objects fell from above. These were more aerodynamic than the others, and would impact like an arrow striking their target. They would shift and change upon crashing into the earth, before activating into Gatr field emitting spires, from which the Legion Warriors began marching forth, wave upon wave upon endless wave of golden armored soldiers wielding tall shields and spears. The Warriors of burnished gold charged forth and formed into ranks, becoming a shield wall against the chaos. Forty bodies deep and tens of thousands long, this shield wall stood as a barrier against the incoming darkness. A figure clad in earthy colors and flowing robes stepped from the lines center and called out in a voice that echoed across the winds.

"Let all who live upon this world hear this warning. A darkness descends upon you that seeks to swallow your very souls. It is a force immeasurable and insurmountable, but do not despair, for so long as there is life yet living, so too shall their be hope."

The voice was quiet yet thunderous, like a child's, yet with authority undeniable. All living who heard it felt joy in their hearts, a sublime happiness stemming from the sheer fact that they were alive.

---

From far above in the orbit of the planet Blackrock, a group of ten vessels, each massive and golden, adorned with flowing carvings and runic symbols. They were shaped triangular obelisks, wide at the front, narrower towards the rear. The largest of them was fifty kilometers in length, and began to open and shift about, as it began the transition towards the star station mode. The remaining nine vessels each took a position around the larger, themselves only being of twenty kilometers long. Three of them began descending into the planets orbit, slowly plummeting down to the world below.

While the one Fireknaught discussed things with the leader of these people, another was calling for transport, "They have agreed to accept evacuation. Approach with caution as we have two unknown forces."

The operator returned message, "We will be sending in aerial support to assist what could be a possible ally and these people. Prepare for arrival."

A few miles above their current location much larger ships began arrive. Closer to the ground, within one kilometer of the ground, fighter jets began to appear. Each ship, space or sky, was marked by a blue energy that pulsed like a light as they broke through. Since their last arrival on this planet, their ships were much more up to date. The large ships, some capable of carrying three hundred thousand people, were covered in a blue nuclear powered shield as they slowly began to lower themselves to the ground.

Around twenty fighter jets would make haste to find the battleground and survey it from the skies. The Fireknaught would refrain from combat unless they had to, their goal being to evacuate these people as fast as they can. These fighter jets were not equipped with the fancy nuclear powered weaponry of the Royal Space Armada, but their iron munitions and explosives have been proven effect all throughout history. This evacuation required a mass defense to make it happen, meaning Fireknaught weaponry of multiple kinds can be found around Blackrock at this moment.

The ships is space would continue to arrive, gradually getting bigger and bigger as time went by. They remembered the last time they were here and they would not be caught off guard this time. They brought enough forces to defend this time. In reality, they didn't want to fight anyone, they just wanted to evacuate these people and enlarge their imprint on the universe.

The Fireknaught speaking to the leader of the colony, "As you can see, we mean business. We will take women and children first. This is going to take two trips, so arm everyone remaining. We will set up a short term camp to conduct the evacuation, when you find it, tell them any special transports they might need for equipment and arms."

The squad of Fireknaughts quickly shot back how they came, getting outside to their ships to make sure the grounds were secure for the evac to begin. They would help mark off transport ships that would take them to the larger ships that could hold the masses of people. With a battle starting at the same time as a mass evacuation, things were liable to do exactly what the Fireknaught were trying to avoid. Now they were knee deep into it and could only go forward.

..........................

In space...

"What nation do those ships belong to? We need to establish a connection immediately with us being is such close range. Open a secure connection with their ships and get me to their leader."

The systems AI would send a connection to the massive and elegant vessels. While their vessels were not as elegant, they were just as capable. Based on their information from the ground and the ships appearance, the Fireknaught hoped to be able to get along with these ships. They didn't bring their mass fleet to bother what appeared to be good people, but to defend against possible Aschen fleets, something they wanted to let them know before they got the wrong idea.

When a connection was found, if they responded, it would open with the following message, "This is Admiral Promiethius of the Fireknaught Federation. We are attempting to evacuate these people from the planet and move them somewhere safer. Can we expect a working relationship in this space until these people are off Blackrock?"

Arnok Laughed once he saw the Legion Warrior, although he could feel something good in his soul he was disgusted by it. "So you have come again "warriors" of light. I promised I will destroy you the next time we meet! Brothers! Kill them all!" He shouted as his forces engaged two armies however they focused primarily on the Legion Warriors.

For The Chaos Sorcered, the bullets that would hit him seemed to stop in midair before bending and falling harmlessly to the ground. "Like a army of children...I am wasting my time with this rabble..." He would then face the Columbian army and began to chant an unholy incantation. Underneath the army a massive sigil appeared in the center of the army, five seconds later a massive chaotic spire erupted from the center of the army with whirling chains that dragged soldiers one by one to the Center where they would be ripped apart by raw Warp energy. "Hear me Dark Lords! Let this battlefield be the sacrifice needed for your minions to appear and feast on the souls of the innocent!" The Chaos Sorcerer chanted.

Once the Spire disappeared thousands of smaller sigils appeared on the ground and demons from Khorne Bloodletters armed with flaming swords to massive disease ridden Hounds Of Nurgle that seemed focused on rampaging around and infected anyone near them with a myriad of disease to small chaotic warp spawns that threw fireballs at soldiers. In the Chaos lines a few massive sigils appeared on the ground and soon sick laughter was heard, massive green bloated figures appeared from the ground and some of the Chaos Warriors could even be heard. "Papa has come!" These such and bloated abominations known as Great Unclean ones caused the very planet to begin rotting, and clouds of maggots, flies and small nurglings could be seen rolling around its gut. They were also armed with massive rusty cleavers. Some Chaos Warriors would be lifted in the air as they laughed maniacally. "Yes! YES! Use my body for this glorious battle!" They each shouted until they were sent back to earth and Bloodthirsters, Greater demons of Khorne emerged from the body armed with massive battle axes and massive wings and armour. For the rest of the Chaos Warriors, it was every man for himself, some charged in the Columbian lines using the others as meat shields to begin hacking away, others stayed behind opting to shoot them with bolters or heavy bolters.

However for all forces on the planet, they could now hear the dark whispers. Tempting the soldiers with more power, tempting them with promises that they could save their nation. All they had to do was join Chaos, and be free from all misery.

The earthen robed figure stood tall and proclaimed in a voice unquestionable. "Let no fear stir in your hearts, for we stand beside you. We stand together. In the name of all that lives!"

And a thunderous roar replied "Har Sol Athun!" The first twenty thousand legion warriors charged forward, their shields shortening to a smaller kite shield form, their spears becoming swords. A light that was blinding and yet beautiful to behold shone from their armor as they charged towards the forces of darkness. As one they called out, their voice not a cry of war, or a call to battle, but a song. Of life and beauty they sang, of hope and virtue they sang, and their hymns would raise the spirits of all who heard them, for those who would hear it, though they could not discern the words, would know that they were saved. From that point forward the whispers of the dark gods would find no hold, and the lies they told would be plain for all to see.

--

Amid the din of battle a single voice called out, brighter and more beautiful than the others. This voice called attention and no matter how they might try, all would be forced to listen. A bolt of lightning, terrible and pure, lashed out and the Spire that had summoned forth darkness would be cloven in twain. Upon the ground at the spires base stood a blue skinned woman with elfin ears and bright eyes, carrying a sword that rippled like liquid light in the sun. She turned to the Chaos sorcerer above and smirked at him. "If you think you demons will have an easy way of it, you are mistaken."

At that moment the demons who had been called forth with all their putrid disease would find themselves ablaze with holy light, and from above descended a red robed figure carrying an everburning bladed staff. He called out "What vile essence you bring shall be consecrated in the light!"

A man then rushed forward past the scouts, dragging two axes behind him across the ground, which he then swung in an uppercut to end the Chaos sorcerer. He said nothing as he did this, his very silence a threat to the darkness.

A burly man with tattoos emblazoned upon his skin, wearing a monks attire stepped forward and lifted the scouts to their feet. "Take heart brothers, you shall not fall this day."

--

The lead vessel continued it's transformation into star station mode, and the helm recieved the message.
"This is Admiral Promiethius of the Fireknaught Federation. We are attempting to evacuate these people from the planet and move them somewhere safer. Can we expect a working relationship in this space until these people are off Blackrock?"

The response came immediatly. Aboard the helm of the other ship, energy fizzled and crackled as a figure materialized out of the ether. It was a burly man wearing a crown, adorned in the regiment of a king gone to war. "I am Konugr Akundo, and I give you this warning only once. Stand aside and seek safety. This is a battle you are ill prepared for. We, Du Vercinge Lagion have been bred, trained, and raised for this fight, and when our blades come unsheathed there is little that may stand between us and our foe. Do what you can for the people below, the civilians who are incapable of fighting, but above all else stay clear of the battle. On this day, no blood need be spilled but our own, and that of the darkness."

And with that decree, the figure faded from vision, though his words would continue to ring in the air.

The emotions and spirits of the soldiers were lifter, many medics trying to hold off the many that were dying. They were winnng when the fight was normal battle.....then those things had erupted from the ground. Soldiers with there armors dented and crack stood and raised the gauss cannon, firing relentlessly at this unknown foe. over 1000 soldiers had died....they would not be killed in vein. A soldier wearing Heavy RX9 Power armor stood. He had a Big boy nuclear catapult, and he intended to use it. The solders charged as the demons had been vanquished, firing upon the chaos soldiers with a great and heavy fire power, the bolters doing great damage to power armor, more so than what was thought possible. Flamers speeded an arch of fire on groups of the Chaos abominations, there Will never giving up on hope. They started chanting, a chant that could be heard across black rock. "COLUMBIA LIVES!" They all yelled, there bullets sailed true and steady....every loss they had was felt with morning. The Soldier in RX9 power armor fired the Big Boy, straight into the heart of the chaos....Arnok. The explosion burned bright....Nuclear fire tended to do that....even if miniature. The Exo Soldiers took advantage of every height they had, jumping to high places with jump assist....and firing the 20mm gauss sniper rifles, and moving. Reinforcements came, 5 thousand extra soldier issued by the commander Chis Warwick. Now the Columbians had an advantage....they weren't being put in attention...The NUC was going to place the foot hold in this galaxy. They were not going to fail. Not with there new found allies. The thoughts of hope reached Arnok....in what ever state he was in. The soldiers fought.....the ones who were ex prisoners...ex cons....ex murderers and rapists...this would be there only redemption.

The scouts nodded at the alien, surprised that it spoke English! And he looked human!

Chis Warwick was the first to speak. "What in the name of Atom is going on here! Where getting slaughtered out here by atom knows what!" He yelled, shooting a chaos soldier. More Big boy explosions echoed, flamers spraying death over the chaos.....Chis looked at the new man....'Thank you...." He said....he let his shield recharge.....

The other scouts joined in the fight, smgs firing rapid magnetically enhanced shots. One picked up a bolter from a fallen soldier, and was relieved to see it was like a normal gun...though it was cumbersome. He used it to gun down more chaos soldiers when the Smg ran out of ammo. The power was immense! He tossed it to Chis before getting violent cut in half by a chain ax....

Chis avenged his friend by shooting the chain ax maniac.....20 times before the bolter was spent....he picked up a casing from the bolter.....They would gain science from this....He immediately gave the order to pick up any alien weopons when it was safe.

President Hightop gave the ok for evac, any soldiers in the area were to be helping everyone on tho the fire kaughts ships, women first and children first. Male civilians were armed with Columbian and Fireknaught weaponry. The soldiers started surrounding the camp, helping to ease the civilians minds....and they would be pissed if the firekaughts didn't tell them what was happening soon, as there was already people yelling at the military wondering where there families ar going....some asking were was there husbands who took patrol....some crying as they were scared...

Lord hightop looked at the Firekaughts. "What of the ships we have?''

In space...

"We got our answers. Continue with evacuation. In the meantime, I want an Energystamp on our buddies here in space and the ones coming through that portal. This is a mess the Aschen can deal with, we just want what information we can get. In fact, before we go, we might just have us a look around to find that Plank Field generating station. Dispatch a G.M.S. to search for it."

The Fireknaught got enough information to know they could do their job without being bothered. They made no more attempts to communicate, but their ships were scanning the massive ships to 'tag' their energies in case they ever sought them out again. At the same time, orders were being relayed and a Giga-Mech was preparing to launch, as well as the mechs being sent along with it. A process that need not be rushed.

The first wave of people started boarding the larger ships as fast as the Fireknaught could get them in. The small ships would pick up twenty or so at a time, two-thousand transport ships moving back and forth between the planetside and space. The people were being herded like cattle into the transports, but with this being a military operation, such was a formality when it came to transporting this amount of people, a feature not many places would take part in.

As people boarded the ships, they would hear a voice over the intercoms, "Welcome weary travelers! We're here to ensure you survive, and your current landing zone is a bit violent and unwelcoming. The Fireknaught Federation stands for Freedom, Justice, and Prosperity. Please, stay calm and be patient; give the Fireknaught your information and the names of anyone who has not arrived yet that you will be waiting for. From there, go to your designated quarters and food will be waiting. Again, welcome, from the Fireknaught Federation, and start dreaming of your new life!" The message was designed to be positive to keep everyone calm and not start freaking out.

Planetside...

"There will be nothing left here. We will make sure everybody and everything makes it off this planet. If you will make sure your people co-operate, this will go smoothly and we can talk more later. I've got work to do and your peoples escape depends on us flowing smoothly." The Fireknaught responded when being question about their ships.

Fight jets flew low to the ground, their nuclear engines screaming, deafening out the loudness of the people. The people would most likely take notice to the blue and green exhaust these jets had, much like their spacial fleet. While their weaponry might be different, their engines were all the powered the same; Nuclear. These fighter jets were followed by a low flying series of bombers.

To prevent any harm to themselves or the people they were helping, the bombers dropped six large trucks that took a circular position around the ships and the people. The Fireknaughts got out of the trucks and began to configure the machinery on the back of the trucks. Within minutes, a massive blue Hex-Shield appeared over the area. Nothing would be able to pass except Fireknaught ships. If any magics, machines, or creatures, tried to pass through, they would be halted on the outside. A creature or a ship would feel like they were just hit by a truck while munitions of any sort would explode on contact.

Just a shortwhile longer and the first 900,000 civilians would be on board the ships. Fighter jets and drones surveyed the battlezone, noting the energy signals of the Chaos army and taking note of all the weaponry, magic or technical. Any bit of information they could obtain would be obtained. Fireknaughts know knowledge is power, and they need knowledge to be able to defend themselves in this universe.

"Everything will be explained when you are off this planet! Please, everyone keep moving and we will all get off this planet soon enough! This is not a joke!" The Fireknaught kept repeating these words, yelling them so everyone could hear it; all the Fireknaughts were aware of the battle just beyond the ridges, but if the people knew, they might get panicked.

Although the Holy Fire proved to injure the demons, it failed to kill them all off. Some demons such as the Chaos Spawn were sent back to the Warp, however the Bloodletters seemed to fight still despite the fire burning of them. Pain was temporary, but victory was immortal for them. The Hounds Of Nurgle seemed unaffected by the fire, continuing to rampage around the line. The greater demons, the fire posed little to no effect on them. Great Unclean ones laughed at the fire as they charged at the Legion Warriors, cleaving through their armor with crude yet unholy power behind their swings. Explosives and gunfire seemed to not even affect it even as peices of the demons flesh fell off. Soon thousands of nurglings hiding inside the Great Unclean Ones charged from every open pore on the demon and charged at anyone that dared to attack their..."Father"

Bloodthirster's simple charged through the gunfire, its armor resisting both explosives and bullets. Its very presence causing the Chaos warriors to fight harder. These greater demons cleaved through ranks of soldiers not only killing them physically, but aborning their souls in the process for their master Khorne. And the fire that was attempting to purge its existence was a minor nuisance for warriors of Khorne were more resistant to all kinds of magic.

For the Chaos sorcerer, he phased from existence as man using duo axes tried to uppercut slice him. "You dare strike at me!? Fool...Know your place and cower like a worm." The sorcerer spat as he re-materialized in the world as channeled the power of his psychic might and the foul powers of the warp to send a barrage of Psychic Bolts of purple energy his way.

For Arnok, he simple dusted off his armor as the Big Boy had hit him. The soldier near him were also injured, but they rose back up before continuing their onslaught. "You call that fire? Behold true fire!" Saying this he raised his hand and seconds later a massive wave of Warp Fire washed over both the Columbian soldiers and the Legion Warriors burning them to the core if they got caught in its path.

For the soldiers attempting to use the Bolters, the recoil would be pretty strong. Only those with Exo-suits could use the weapon properly. But some of these b=Bolters did not appear to me just normal weapons, some of these bolters were actually possessed by a demon that would claim the mind of those that used them. Others would not work because of a special modification that only the owner could use.
