Personality: While he has mixed feelings about being unable to be rekindled like Gunnar he's nonetheless ready to rejoin the fight in the name of the emperor. He's a stoic high-functioning sociopath that likes the blood of leading the way through sprays of blood. With Gunnar's new modifications to both his armor and his weapon Deitrich has an incredibly itchy trigger finger.
- Vigil Pattern Storm Shield - Alongside the Salamanders Legion, who possessed their own prototype which relied upon superior construction materials, the Imperial Fists Legion was the first to utilise one of the enhanced storm shield designs during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy eras. The Vigil pattern featured a uniquely potent field generator far exceeding that found elsewhere. The first of these had entered service with the Legion after the Ullanor Campaign, but difficulties in production meant that only a few hundred had entered full service at the outset of the wars of the Horus Heresy. Once full inter-Legion conflict was underway, Rogal Dorn ordered resources to be spared in the creation of more such protective devices for the use of his Terminator units, knowing them to be invaluable against the deadliest foes for his Imperial Fists had ever faced; other Space Marines.
- Locke Pattern Missile Launcher (Krak Missile) - Directly mounted to the shoulder with a recoil harness. Krak Missiles are primarily intended to serve as anti-vehicle weapons, and contain a high-strength shaped charge with a relatively small blast radius, but causes massive damage to anything it hits with minimal collateral damage. Krak Missiles are also very effective against heavily armoured infantry, bunkers and other armoured or fortified static targets where their concentrated explosives will often punch holes straight through armour. However, a Krak Missile's small blast radius makes them impractical for use against most infantry and moving targets.
- Power Armor 'Patientia Pattern' - The original armor was modified during repairs to Dietrich's armor with the help of Gunnac Umbercaller. It provides a small manifesting plant to the armor's backpack that takes over filtration and air regulation duties within the suit as well. It bonds to the microfusion generator deriving power from waste heat, direct draw, or the emergency solar panels. This manifestation plant, psitech in nature, can produce an unlimited amount of bolts given sufficient energy and time. With the attention of a Jinhai or tech-priest even other ammunition such as psycannon bolts or even promethum fuel cartridges can be imprinted inside it. Unfortunately the ammo is only stable over the long term inside the manufacturing plant's internal storage. As ammo draw increases and supplies diminish the manifestation array loses stability causing the ammo to have a lifespan before it breaks down. This progressively limits the maximum range of sustained fire as limited stabile ammo depletes. Dietrich can control this behavior however through in-suit controls and limit supply in favor of weapon range. If the manifestation plant is equipped with a compatible clip Dietrich can induce the fabrication plant to manufacture bonded clips so that others near to him can draw from the manifestation plant.
- Heavy Flux Bolter - 'Patentia Pattern' - Coupled to Dietrich's backpack the ammo and power conduit provides a robust dynamic interface from which the gun can pull munitions from. The heavy bolter has a partly ferroplasm interior structure with self-repair circuits adapted to repair it. It is far less likely to jam as much of the internal mechanism does not involve moving parts. The gun can use the manifestation plant to alter its internal structure to fire differing ammunition though not rapidly. This enables it to fire various types of specialist ammunition as well as operate as a flamer.
- Combat Blade
Dietrich has had the glory of death and returned to service once more. Yet a failure of true Rekindling Dietrich was nonetheless brought back into the Emperor's service. Altered by Gunnac Umbercaller the Imperial Fist was put back into service with new capacities.
