Dr John Barnes, MD Walks into Gambits in a well trimmed suit and a briefcase full of notes. The 56 year old man was a practitioner of Medicine and a highly regarded researcher. As he entered he proceeded to look around the bar in search of a man called 'Raider' it was here he was to conduct his exclusive interview for TerraCast

Quill looked over at the person addressing her, 'Hey listen its not that i don't care its just bad timing, we can talk later okay?' She explained to the lady named Eliza.

Mind you, Valorie didn't want to hurt anyone. That's right, kids. Nothing's cooler than having your pokemon fight eachother, but if someone with aspirations challenges you that's no good.
Her reaction was to scramble to her feet and totally wrap her arms around Quill's waist. Despite the fact that Quill had clarified that she was with the news Valorie was still convinced that the older looking female was the closest thing she'd find to a guardian here. What's that? Independence and adulthood? Fuck that noise! For a moment she didn't say anything, but then a whispery tone came out of her mouth. "...I just want to get out of here..." she whined quietly, no longer interested in trying to forget the day with alcohol.

Quill offered her hand to the young Valorie in an attempt to gain her trust. Journalism wasnt a proffesion where friends were common but having the select few couldnt hurt.

Dr John Barnes, MD sat down in a seat at the window and pulled his briefcase to the table in preperation for his interviewer to appear, he was , as always, early.
Valorie was hesitant to release Quill's waist for a moment but seemed to understand that walking would be difficult--Even if Valorie was debatably malnourished and weighed a measly 97 pounds. "Yes, please..." she answered gently.
Quill felt the small hand of the seemingly young one in her own and proceeded to lead her to the exit. 'I'm sorry if this all seems a bit much for you, i can understand if you would rather not talk about it, but sometimes its good to let someone know.'
"Yes, I would normally have a bottle of sake with me, but that would be unprofessional." Raiden said with a laugh. "What do you need doctor? Shall I drive a delorian at eighty miles an hour?" Raiden said, laughing again.
Dr John Barnes, MD chuckled in amusement and the conversation immideaytely felt less formal, 'Well i dont often drink but when i do i must say im more of a good old red vintage '66 myself.' he retorted.
'Well it seems to me that my research has presented itself to me with new advancements that i thought your News channel would benefit from.' He replied in a proud and enthusiastic tone.
'Well i thought that obvious, i have news and im willing to grant you exclusive interviews in evidence' he chuckled. 'It seems your fanbase has escalated, i may not be much of a television Addict, but TerraCast is all im hearing recently at work.' he continued.
'Well, my recent studies have left me with questions concerning augmentations and artificial limbs, especially with the hospitals high reciept of soldiers coming in with missing limbs.' He started. 'My job is to help maintain a high capcaity in mobility, and increase the standards of living for those with permenant injuries. Me and My team have recently been able to adjust a particular type of alloy to fuse with the remaining muscle tissue of a severed limb, and in doing so creating 60% more mobility than the artificial limbs we are using today.'
'Well, even in the simplest operations weve had rejections, but these aptly named Barnes alloys, are introduced to the muscle fibres over a period of time, usually amounting to about 3 weeks. the muscle fibres take on some of the properties of the alloys making the surrounding connective tissue stronger. After the three weeks the limb is then placed permenantly onto the body via an intrinsic and microscopic operation... once the operation is complete and i can assure you that too takes some time the alloy is able to pass signals to the brain just like any normal conducter.'
