Dr Lovewell stopped rubbing her tightly closed eyes with a heavy sigh. She forced her shoulders to relax as she reached once again for her glass. She looked younger than one would expect of a doctor, but her responsibilities where nonetheless burdensome at best. Thus the migraines and stress came with the job, along with the alcohol and occasional cigarette. Tilting her head back, she relaxed it up against the backrest of the booth. Hearing a minor commotion, likely the front door, she rolled her head over and through half-closed eyes, she spotted a catgirl of some sort. Resisting the immediate urge to call out, she smiled, blushed lightly, then took a sip of her drink.

Dr Lovewell watched from her booth in awe as the bowl filled to the brim. She knew full well the girl was not of legal age to drink, but did not know how to handle such a situation. For a moment, she considered calling the police about a fake ID, but knew she herself might be falsely accused. How about picking her up by the scruff? Does she even have a scruff? Dr Lovewell decided against doing anything that might cause more stress. It was none of her business anyway.

Dr Lovewell took another sip of her long island, watching intently as the catgirl was joined by an owl with a top hat and a woman wearing a claymore.

Snapping to attention, Dr Lovewell rifled through her bag before selecting a dark blue notebook, pulling out her pen, and flipping to an orange bookmark. She began furiously scribbling down notes about the three strange people before her, underlining "Yoma" and "mute."

Pulling the strap from her back onto her shoulder and then grabbing her drink in one free hand, Dr Lovewell slid from the booth she sat at and made her way over to the fireplace. Keeping an eye on the owl everyone seemed to spite and the rude catgirl, she gently approached the woman with the claymore. "Excuse me? May... may I ask you a question or two?"

Dr Lovewell took a large gulp of her drink and set the wet glass down at the base of the chair she sat down in. Once again opening the book to the orange bookmark, she began to furiously scribble words and sketch all three in the bar. "Oh right. Uh. You say you aren't a Yoma or a human. What would you call yourself? Or your people?"

"Oh uh..." She continued to write hastily, her eyes fixed down on her notebook. She stopped for a moment, still staring at the page. Finally looking up again, she asked, "What do you know of the cat people?"

Dr Lovewell looked to the side. Seeing only the owl, she hesitantly replied, "Uh.. Research. As an anthropologist. My expertise are usually in the field of archeology. But I know little to nothing about anyone that isn't.... homo sapiens. Figured I'd get started in case my company decides to move in. I'm sorry, are you an owl? I don't quite understand."

"No! Nope! That's it, thank you!" Dr Lovewell grabbed her drink, shrugged her bag strap back up her shoulder, and stood up. She could have asked questions all night, or at least stared at the attractive woman, but she had too many questions. Too much work to do. Once again carefully shuffling across the room, she nearly whispered in a quiet voice, "Excuse me, Miss Kitty! Miss Kitty!"
