Elaine Peterson

Dreamer with a dreamcatcher.

0 · 161 views · located in Anistar City

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Spearheader

Description

Name: Elaine Peterson
Starting Pokemon: Muuna lvl 7
Physical Description: Elaine is possessed long, blonde hair, that she typically wears long and straight, including in the front. When not covered by bangs, her eyes are green in color, and she typically wears simple dresses in her daily life—although the length of said dresses has shortened to more of a skirt-length in her traveling, after a few days of tripping over herself. She’ll often wear buttoned jackets, as well.
Personality description: Elaine is defined foremost by her compassion and her imagination—she’s prone towards fantasy and towards trying to correct what she sees as unfairness in the world around her. She also can be somewhat vulnerable to the demands of her peers, though, as she hasn’t yet learned to prioritize very well.
History: Elaine’s first brush with pokemon, or rather, the idea of being a trainer, came at an early age when she visited a pokemon adoption center with her brother, who sought the idea out with much more enthusiasm. This adoption center would occasionally take in wounded or diseased pokemon from some of the wilder areas, and that particular week it had already found itself a Muuna that was friendly. As her brother saw the very shabby looking pokemon, however, he didn’t seem to find it friendly, or smart, or anything else. He just thought it looked ridiculous, and said so.

This, in particular, made Elaine convinced that she wanted to get the Muuna, if only because she thought it deserved the respect and care other pokemon received, and that she’d been watching some things by Neon Plasma recently.

Over time, her goals and loyalty to her Muuna have increased in intensity, and she has decided to go find other pokemon to train so she can eventually join some of the real Plasma members in showing the world what the ball-less, littler pokemon can do.

So begins...

Wandering in from someplace closer to the center of Anistar City, Elaine Peterson had started her search for new Pokemon. She hadn't yet gotten terribly far, but she hadn't spent terribly long yet, either. She'd heard of some trainers searching for years throughout the world, and while she might become one of them eventually, she was a little far from it yet.

Travelling with her was her Munna, Hope. The name really suited him, or so Elaine had always thought--in the several years that she had him, he'd gone from being a scared little thing to a happy, active pokemon--though perhaps not an impressive-looking thing. The floating ball of fluff was currently lazily moving around Elaine's head as she looked around a bit, before suddenly moving a little ways off.

"Hey--what are you..." Elaine said briefly before noticing where the Munna was moving.

Hope seemed to be going towards another pokemon trainer...who looked about Elaine's age, as well. Maybe they could be friends...maybe they'd catch pokemon together? Munna were supposed to sense dreams, right?

There was one way to find out.

Sandra couldn't help but chatter her teeth as she felt herself becoming a human popsicle. Her body started numbing and the fact that she wore a tattered white shirt and ripped beige cargo shorts weren't helping in the slightest. "C-C-C'mon Stella...w-we gotta find...a Pokemon Center...f-fast!" she shivered.

Stella nodded before sneezing again. But concern turned into anger as she saw an approaching Pokemon. A Munna. Stella wasn't the type of Pokemon who would easily warm up to newcomers. She glared before letting out a growl. "Prrrrrrr!"

Sandra followed her feathered friend's gaze to the psychic Pokemon approaching. "Hey! Stella! Stay down! It's just a...wait...what the blasting heck is that thing?" she wondered.

Elaine hurried after her pokemon, anxious to avoid a misunderstanding between them--Hope was pretty well trained, but she'd still heard stories of domestic pokemon being mistaken for wild ones. And the Parrage wasn't necessarily as knowledgeable about all this as they were.

"Hope, come back." Elaine said as the Munna circled around Sandra's head, or rather began to before the Parrage surprised it, at which point it moved behind Elaine pretty quickly.

"It's okay..." She said softly to Hope before turning her attention quickly to Sandra. "...sorry about that, sometimes he likes someone and just wants to see them a bit."

"...are you okay?" She asked, suddenly noticing the tattered state of the other girl's clothes. "...here, I...well, I would give my jacket, but we can go inside." Hope was currently pressed against it, so taking it off was a bust. "Here! I know a good warm place in town."

Sandra nodded, still shivering. "Th-th-thanks mate...please...we need warmth!" she told the other girl.

Stella continued to growl at the other girl's Pokemon even when Sandra grabbed her, following the stranger. "Prrrr...."

Sandra however, remained friendly but still somewhat weary. Even after befriending Nicole Porter and her friends back in Beya, she still wasn't so trusting of modern society. "Th-the name's Sandra and this is Stella. I'm g-guessin you've never seen anything l-like her before? That's cause we come from a d-d-different...l-l-land. The Beya region," she introduced, quick to get the obvious questions out of the way as she had heard them hundreds of times...
