Elizabeth McCarthy

Former Citizen and Teacher of Rapture and 'Big Sister'

0 · 936 views · located in Canti's Diner

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Rulke

Description

Name: Elizabeth McCarthy

Age: 27

Occupation: WCPD Cop

Partner: Jenna Crespo

Appearance in Armour:

Appearance out of Armour:

Personality:
Elizabeth was an aristocrat in Rapture and actively taught in one of the primary schools, she was well-liked if at times considered little harsh. Although outside of this she was addicted to plasmids. Her fate may have been different if it was not for being noticed and chosen for the Big Sister project, she was not the first nor the last, but somehow maybe due to plasmids she was injecting into herself outside school hours, she kept some of her kindness and generosity when she was changed forever into guardian of the Little Sisters. She is at times volatile but has a caring compassionate side despite her dark and terrifying appearance.

History:
Before New Years 1958, Elizabeth was a teacher until they changed her, during that time she subscribed to teachings of Sofia Lamb, finding her philosophy more realistic than the so-called pretension or idealistic bullshit, Andrew Ryan would have them believe.

Skills:
Stab: A Big Sister's basic attack. When at melee range, she will jab her ADAM syringe into the player, dealing a high amount of damage.

Charge: When at a distance from the player, a Big Sister will run towards Delta at a high speed, dealing minor damage and minor knockback, as well as temporarily disorienting the player.
Fire Barrage: Occasionally, a Big Sister will fire three large exploding fireballs in quick succession, dealing high damage.

Telekinetic Pummel: Occasionally, a Big Sister will use an advanced form of Telekinesis to lift every nearby object around them, pull them towards her and fire them at the player, with the amount of damage depending on the size of the object. If the object is large enough, it will push the player back, temporarily disorienting them.

Drain: When low on health, Big Sisters will run towards a wandering Splicer, impale them with their ADAM syringe and drain their health. This gradually recharges the Big Sister's health, but leaves her vulnerable. Attacking her while she is draining a Splicer will cause her to drop her victim, killing the latter in the process.

Teleport: Big Sisters possess a unique version of the Teleportation Plasmid used by Houdini Splicers. The energy ripple seen when they disappear is purple as opposed to red, and they can teleport much farther. They are seen using this ability in a handful of scripted situations throughout the game, and they may also use it to reach the player from a distance during battle.

So begins...

The sad truth was due to the change, she could not sleep anymore but she did have waking nightmares or dreams, although Jenna would never find out, not ever this was what she had done to herself, it's why she had jumped at chance to be near to someone. Now she may be able to think of something other than Rapture... other than Rapture... other than Rapture... other than Rapture... with that she turned her face around and gazed with so many confusing emotions in her mind, just seeing Jenna sleep.

"Sleep well... and thank you..." she whispered before falling into a waking sleep.

A crescendo of groaning sounds rattled the area's buildings as a massive skeleton of debris came burning through the atmosphere above. It caterwauled its way across the sky, leaving a streak of smoke and falling debris in its wake before finally coming smashing to the ground several miles to the north. The ground trembled under the impact, knocking chunks of plaster and glass off of the buildings and sending them crashing into the streets below.

Wearing a Wing City PD jacket and her diving suit, the first thing they had been asked to investigate was the death of Taryn LeBeau, Gambit's even had specifically demanded WCPD help out, our he will quit giving them grants for anything. Nonetheless the two of them had grown close over last two days, so close she was actually holding her hand. Still unsure about anything more, but clearly Elizabeth or Lizzy as Jenna called her was crushing heavily on Jenna, maybe not love, but blossoming desires.

It was near pitch black with only lights the ones indicating this area being the space ports, most ships had been grounded until they were found, but smugglers ignored this decree.

Turning to Jenna she whispered, "Jenn cover your ears."

With that one warning she let out sonic scream that would echo all the way through the yard, reverberating off the surfaces indicating something was coming, but no clear distinction of where from.

Jenna took a deep breath, opening her eyes as they arrived in the spaceport, and she then looked around, her awareness rising, and she gently let of of Lizzy's hand, and covered her ears, hearing the scream a little and then she unblocked her ears, and started walking forward, trying to be as cautious as possible, as she knew that she had to be cautious in this part of the world, as it was very dangerous.

"Perhaps we should split up, it would make finding some clues or evidence a lot easier, but make sure to on your guard, after all, we are in a spaceport where smugglers come through almost all the time, as they do like to smuggle a lot, including human cargo, so......please, be cautious" she said and kissed Lizzy on the cheek.

He needed to work quickly. Not only had his last transport been shut down because of the lockdown, but so were many others. He had almost made it passed. However, he knew of one way to get off world. It would just take a bit of timing now. He had placed a few incinerary charges, nowhere that would kill anyone, but in places that would get their attention. He hoped setting off the fire alarms would get the pilots all spooked and take off. After all, they are swimming in a motherload of Space Ship fuel. Why not?

As he walked towards one section, a man came up behind him and asked him for credentials. He took out a Holobadge, that showed his identification as a reporter, random name generated by the elite forger who made it. It checked out like a read badge. "Sorry for the inconveinence. Have a nice week....."

It was amazing how easy it can be to trick people these days.....

However, as he made his way forward, he heard this irritating scream, that caused sparks to fly from under his cloak and shirt. He panicked for a moment, then resumed his normal appearance of calmness.

What was that?

Letting out another piercing scream she would move swiftly through the darkness, leaping and landing on walkways. Using her screams as almost like a sonar as bounced constantly over the yard and metallic surfaces. Only once did a guy with clipboard stop her, pulling her badge out she would stop to say, "Elizabeth McCarthy Wing City PD close down all flights and let us handle it, this person must not escape."

With that she sped to another higher point, quickly now reaching the top and staring down. Grinning she let out another deafening sonic scream, listening and watching from high above.

Pulling out her walkie-talkie she patched through to Jenna, "I am on the top walk-way Jenn, they're nearby. I also told the worker to close off everything, so he's trapped."

Her eyes moved upwards as she heard the scream again, Liz launching herself up into the air and then moving through the darkness, and Jenna let a little grin slip loose of her mouth, and then chuckled a little, it turning into a smile, the grin that is, and she sighed in relief. "I'm glad I met her in the first place, makes moving on so much easier with her help, she's a great person after all, always one to show off and draw attention to herself, but that isn't a bad thing after all" she said with a still smiling mouth, and then nodded her head.

She picked up the walkie-talkie and then nodded her head, "Roger that Liz, keep a close eye on your surrounding's, please be careful, I don't want anything to happen to either of us, and be a little bit more quiet, but you don't have to if you don't wish".

Was going to finalize his plan when his Modified Communicator picked up a signal coming from a worker. He intercepted it, receiving it first, while at the same time also going getting his own link to the receiving end. After hearing what he said, he told the man using his voice distorter "All right, we will handle it from our end. You finish your job then get off site as quickly as possible". With that, he then went to the receiving link, and using a Voice mimicker this time to mimic the voice of the worker. "Listen, I am not quite sure how to act, but I just got a weird face to face meet with some military figure. Apparently, Military Bombers will be attacking here in 20, and we are supposed to lift the ship lockdown, at least momentairily. Also, someone might be placing beacons for them, I saw this strange man wearing a diving suit looking around and then placing these things in areas he looked around in long enough. Anyways, yeah, check your radar if you don't believe me..."

He then caused a "Phantom Bogey Squadron". That should keep them panicking. Thats when he heard another of those screetches. Of course....Radar! Those sonic pulses are radar! He quickly went over to some speakers, and modified them appropiately to play music to break the sonic location. He then ran towards the ship he planned to take. He did not want any semantics. He was quick, clear, and clean.

Hearing noise return she would smirk. For a normal person yeah sure it would have been different, but after everything she had done to herself by choice and the many plasmids she had used, her voice could reach frequencies that no human could stand let alone anything. Nonetheless she had to first warn Jenna, "Jenn, those screams were nothing, cover your ears and don't let go until I say so." with that her voice would rise to deafening frequency as the very walkways and surface shook to the sonic disturbances, all other sound would crushed by the incoming sonic.

It would go on and on before she finally sped further into the yard to the point right above him, where he appeared to fiddling with some controls.

Leaping down lightly she would let out higher pitch one, this time it would screw the faculties of this person due to the brain being put in a state of cruel flux.

As she watched him, she finally spoke and said, "You fucked with the wrong person child."

If he had not guessed she was there yet, then he would know now.

THe louder, much louder screech hurt. It hurt a lot. But, he had heard worse. He could not help but remember his training. The training to prepare him for basically anything. "You want to help yourself, and to help her, correct?" a strong, German voice told him. "Well, first, you must become the tool we need you to be. People believe that robotic substituion is the future for strength, but organic tissue can be made to adapt. Metal is metal, stuck in the position forged, but animals adapt and grow. You must adapt and grow as well...first step, lets make you able to zone out all noise....you will learn soon enough...". He then played a loud, screeching noise, so loud it echoed. He had ear phones, he could cover his ears. But himself....his arms were shackled to the table, and he had no such luxury. It hurt so much, he began to cry, and blood went down from his ears... He did so, he focused out the screeching, just like they had taught him how. And then, he did something worse.

He threw up this one device, which then split into six pieces. These six pieces scattered, 3 in the area, one near the Big Sister, and 2 near Jenna....and then they all started shooting whatever was closest to them, except the Silent Child, because they were programmed not to.

He then took out his silenced pistol, loaded it with armor piercing rounds, then fired at the Big Sister while he ran towards his ship. At the same time, he detonated several incinerary explosives he had placed earlier (as mention in an earlier post), though they were placed in areas that had no people currently working by them.

Now...I run... He thought, running for his ship.

Smirking she found the child attempts to stop her laughable, with great ease she ripped the turret up with her telekinisis and flung it right in front of him. Speeding towards him, she leapt and moved over to him, appearing in front of him.

Staring at him she said, "Precious. Looks like you're not the only one who special here little boy, but you have no idea of Hell." with that she let out the sonic scream again, right in front of him, not even earphones would block it out.

Jenna's eyes widened as she started to see the turrets appear and she sprinted towards cover, dodging bullets left and right as she felt them whizz by her body and she howled in pain, feeling two bullets rip through her legs and she slammed behind cover, which was a cargo crate, and she winced. She pulled out her handgun from it's holster and then cocked it, covered in her own blood, she was not in a good position, as she was injured and didn't have that great of cover either.

"Lizzy! I'm hit, get the fuck down, don't be a hero, don't think you are greater than everyone else, just get the FUCK down, please for my sake!" she screamed loudly.

A space bus had whizzed into the spaceport, sitting in the back seat would be a man wearing a very distinguishing mask that made a distinct whizzing sound. His attire was a knee length black leather jacket that was buttoned at the sternum, leather boots that came up to his knees, black leather gloves, a red, button up blouse and a pair of black leather pants. His legs were extended and crossed at the ankles and his arms remained crossed at his chest.

Sitting beside him was a black attache case that had a finger print analyzer and a number code lock that only he knew the code for. The bus shook slightly as it came into port and the airlocks engaged which caused the door to open. He stood up and stretched before reaching back and gripping the handle of the attache case before turning around and exiting the side door. The mask of the saint had moved slightly at the optics much like a gearbox as it adjusted to the surrounding light. He looked around slowly and made way for the door, his mission was just starting.

An assassin had to be prepared for everything, that was his second lesson. The initial tests for this lesson, he was told to choose 1 out of 50 things. He failed this one for a long time, and it was painful. Eventually, he learned lesson 3, through lesson 2. Never play fair. He took as much as he could carry, and said it was all one thing: His Equipment.

SO when the Big Sister went in front of him, as she screamed, he placed a Magnetic Locking Device straight onto her, which would cause her armor to be impossible/near impossible to move. Also, if there was any giant magnet in the area, she would find herself stuck to that as well. He took this time to throw another Cluster-Turret Grenade, only this time, he aimed it specifically at her partner.

"Now..." he started, as a bus wizzed by above them. He took a moment to process the situation, and instead of saying some final words, ran for his ship, tossing a few Burrow Mines, which immediately burrowed underground, and displayed a hologram of what they burrowed through above them, and if anyone got close to them, they would explode.

He figured that should slow them down enough. The Big Sister cop, he hoped, would go and save her partner instead of chasing him, and the mines would make sure she could not follow so easily. Even so, he kept his guard up, and he ran as quick as possible to the large ship that would soon be taking off, and he planned to be on it.

This person obviously did not know whom he was dealing with, yes her armor weighed a ton, and those mines stung quite a bit, but she had one last trick to screw him over. Aiming very carefully she pulled out a rocket spear loaded her harpoon and fired straight at the buses engines. It was downright dangerous, but since the person was too busy running for it, he would unlikely see it. Leaping, she tore at the magnetic locking device, barely managing to get it off before rushing to Jenna and using her armour as a shield tore through one turret.

There was a satisfying boom as she heard the ship being hit. An alarm sounded and a voice spoke, "Due to unexpected engine damage Space Bus 5290 can't leave. We are sorry for the inconvenience. This is Terra Space, look beyond the horizon." the recorded message stopped and she prepared herself for next turret, eyeing Jenna and deciding what to do.

In a flash she pushed her partner down and using her body warmth, drew the fire away from Jenna to her. Jenna would probably get quite annoyed, but she was not going to let her friend be injured due to her own aggression. Nope instead if anyone was going to be injured it was Elizabeth McCarthy.

"Dispatch, Aiedail reporting in on behalf of the Terran Militia! What's the situation at the Spaceport?"

Wing City blurred past Aiedail in a rush as she shot through the sky like a fighter jet, closing in on the Spaceport. The android's scanners were trained on the building and quickly picked up the area where the combat was taking place, detecting Elizabeth's screams and the gunfire from the turrets - not to mention the explosions.

'Confirmed, Aiedail, this is Officer Sanderson. Reports of explosions and gunfire coming from inside, we're unable to get into contact with the operators there, but standard procedure should be to have the place evacuated and flights locked down.'

"Roger that, Officer!" Aiedail replied, "Aiedail out, I'll keep you updated!"

Shooting in through the main entrance over the heads of the crowd of fleeing civilians, Aiedail slowed her speed to a more controllable one as she made her way through the building towards the fighting. She arrived just in time to see Elizabeth move over to Jenna, with the Silent Child fleeing the scene and out of sight.

She hovered in place for but a moment, two rocket pods protruding outwards from her shoulders and launching a barrage of ballistics at the turrets that had been left behind, the high-impact explosions tearing through the devices and setting off some of the nearby mines. "Officer!" she called to Elizabeth, "Get your injured partner to safety! I will pursue the suspect!"

And without another word, that's exactly what she did. Her scanners kicked into gear, sweeping the area for the Silent Child's lifesigns. She isolated a number of nearby individuals, but the child's physical age was his downfall: he was the only none-adult this deep in the spaceport still, the rest of the children either having fled with their families or being deep in the crowd of refugees outside. Her jets kicked in again and she soared after him, passing through the air over the mines without hindrance.

"Halt!" she called after him, "Cease resistance or I will be forced to harm you!"

When he heard the other communications using his Comm Hyjacker, he knew what to expect. He turned his head as he ran.

He looked at the Officer while still running. Not a chance. Il die if I go with you... He took out a strange shotgun looking like gun, and aimed it at her. If the officer was any expert about illegal weaponry, she would now that was a Hellfire shotgun. In other words, not really a shotgun, but a huge Damaging Weapon of destruction. He fired it, which launched several Hellfire Missile Probes, which are fast, powerful, and lock on to whatever they were aimed at. Which was the officer. As far as anyone could tell, The Silent Child has no powers, a seemingly disadvantage on Terra, but he had skills. And he had the proper tools and equipment to be a significant threat.

That's when he used the comm Hyjacker to jam the Officer's signal, and replaced it with his own, using his voice Fabricator. "Some asshole kid was all, thought it would be funny firing a BB Gun at cans around a Spaceport, and they threw a few Firecrackers around. Situation is green at the Spaceport, you can reopen all normal functions. I'll take them in".

With that communication, it would give him cover to use the alternative escape route. He made his way as quickly as possible towards the warehouse nearby...

As this went on, Elizabeth was seeing the damage her arrogance had caused, Jenna was staring at her sorrowful look in her eyes and she removed her helmet to see her her ethereal blue eyes wet with tears. Lifting her up slowly, she whispered, "Jenna, you can make it, please tell me you can make it..." the former Rapturian was desperate, desperate for her love to live, "Jen... we have to go too and take you to the hospital..."

The human gazed at her softly and shook her head coughing, "Lizzy, we did well... didn't we?"

Sighing heavily the former teacher nodded, "We did well, but Jenna we have to get you to hospital, please you're bleeding out badly, please come here now, please..." the big sisters eyes were growing moist and she appeared to be clinging to false hope, "Please Jenna, I will take you there..."

Again Jenna shook her head, gasping and coughing lightly, "I love you Lizzy, never forget it, never forget it... never..." with that her eyes closed over and Elizabeth sat there, trying to cover the wounds, trying to wake her, nothing came of it. No movement, no active signs, she was dead, just dead.

Dead.

With an almighty screech, she ignored all laws all rules and ran straight to the warehouse her fury tangible and dark, nothing mattered now, the one person she was meant to protect and she failed she failed and she would gut and rip apart that person, even if she had to do it herself. This was no longer a fun little mission, this had become her goal, Elizabeth McCarthy was going to rip the fuckers head off and leave nothing of him, not bones, not limbs, just nothing she was going to destroy him, destroy him completely and no one, no one was going to stop her.

Thankfully for Aiedail, being an android, she had taken some measures to prevent herself being totally shut down by EMPs. The the pulse of electromagnetic waves were easily absorbed by her conversion barrier, and she continued onwards. The blinding light was no impediment, though it forced her to fall back on her non-visual means of sensing her surroundings for a few moments whilst her eyes recovered. The bullets ricocheted harmlessly off of her kinetic barrier.

The tractor beam was unaffected by the EMP as a result of her shielding, and unless the Silent Child had an alternative means of avoiding its influence, he was pulled forcefully into Aiedail's grasp as she approached behind him at high speeds, at which point she noticed the collar around his neck. Her scanners immediately identified the high explosive properties of it.

Due to the close proximity and her superhuman reflexes, she was able to act on it in the same moment. Her energy drain technology kicked in and targeted the battery of the collar, rapidly sucking power from it to leave it incapable of powering the chip within the device that was responsible for ensuring the detonation.

The worst case scenario, albeit unlikely considering the way she had determined the collar to work, would be that this would cause the detonation. Without a power source to cause the ignition, this would be an impressive achievement, but should it happen, it would at least be within her kinetic barriers. She would be the only casualty, and she could repair herself. She had the technology. She was the technology.

"You are under arrest! You have the right to remain silent, but it may harm your defence if you do not say now something you later rely on in a court of law!" Aiedail stated.

She glanced towards Elizabeth as she approached, "Halt, Officer! This suspect will be taken in alive by the authority of the Terran Militia!"

Her arms were firmly crossed against her chest, a feat that was quite difficult considering how recklessly the cab driver was being at that moment. It was infuriating and it took all she had within her not to punch him in the back of the head. That of course would be a terrible idea because the force would probably knock him out and then they would wreck. Wrecking right now would not get her to where she needed to be and despite being in really good shape, the thought of sprinting to the Spaceport was highly undesirable. So, instead she clenched her jaw and refrained from berating the driver. She didn't understand why he was driving like a mad man though, it wasn't as if there were tons of people driving around in their way. Guess taxi drivers just drove that way or something. It was only a matter of times before they reached her destination and Gabrielle felt her stomach clenching up in anticipation.

She had recently purchased a police scanner and between searching for her sister, listened to it around the clock. Whenever she slept or went out of the hotel room, she recorded the scanner and listened to it later on. It was during one of the times she was listening to it, Gabrielle overheard conversation concerning the possible location of the individual who killed her mother. She had promised her father that she wouldn't do anything rash and generally she was the cautious one, but this time was different. If she could have located her sister, then she wouldn't be in a cab at the moment. Renée was always the rash one; the one who would kill if necessary. Gabrielle wasn't a killer nor was she even sure if she would actually go forth with what she was planning on doing. Her fingers twirled the ying/yang necklace around as she stared out the window. The demons that were at her beck and call tried to convince her to let the professionals deal with it and that meant it was pretty dangerous because normally they were always happy to help with whatever she wanted. They did however agree to locate her sister and tell her what was going on, which was incredibly helpful and a little reassuring.

"Keep it together, Gabrielle..."

The cab neared the Spaceport and with a string of swear words, the driver swerved into the side of a building. It took all of her strength holding onto the back of the seat to keep from being catapulted out the window. Once the car came to a complete stop, she slammed her fist hard into the back of the driver's head. He was still conscious and was muttering something about his car failing to respond, but it didn't matter to her. Climbing out of the back of the car and slipping out of the building, Gabrielle jogged the rest of the way to the port and after slipping past the crowd that had gathered, but more importantly past whatever law enforcement that happened to be around, she glanced around the area. Her weaponry, which considered of a single .50 desert eagle and a pair of short swords strapped to her forearms that were currently hiding beneath her black leather jacket. The .50 desert eagle was also hidden in a holster beneath her jacket, but like the swords was easily accessed. Her black boots and pants allowed her to blend in with the shadows, which at the moment could only serve to her advantage.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a lone figure rushing towards a warehouse and something told her that that was the individual that was responsible for taking away her mother. Sprinting forward, the fifteen-year-old was incredibly grateful for her long legs and the great shape she was currently in. She noticed two other figures who appeared to be of some authority, but that didn't slow her down one bit. As far as she was concerned, this was family business and didn't concern anyone else. With that, she surged forward, her hand reaching down for her gun. Swords were great if she was close to her enemy, but at the moment she didn't want to get close to him. If he managed to shoot her mother; a woman who was once a great assassin, then there was no way that she was going to give him a chance to get close enough to do the same to her. She was still wearing the bullet proof vest beneath her outfit; something that was stronger than most normal vests, but she still didn't want to take the chance.

"HEY ASSHOLE! I'm gonna kill you for killing Tayrn LeBeau. She was my mother, you dick!"

He looked at the cop, and the sun behind her. The light was hitting The collar, and it was still active. Because it had solar absorbers. However, the material of the collar should block it. Which meant, it would have to be very advanced. Very few people could get a hold of such advanced solar absorbers, yet these people would have been making their own if they were making their own collars.

And the appearance of this new women, the one who blamed her for her mother's death, he hoped would provide a good distraction and would get in the way...

However, this wouldn't matter anyways, because he didn't know about the energy drain that seemingly came out of nowhere anyways. The tractor beam began to pull him, so he threw two things at her. A Mag Lock, which combined with the momentum of the Tractor beam, would quickly reach the robot and make it impossible/near impossible to move. The second was a Nanogrenade, which released Nanobots that would cause any fast moving metal to erode quickly if it hit wind moving over 5 miles per hour. He also used his Mag Shoes, which pulled him to the ground. He then ran into the warehouse, hitting another button on his Access Tool, and a strange noise could be heard within the warehouse.

He ran over to one crate in particular. Hurry up, dammit...

Aiedail was very surprised to discover that her energy drain had not worked, considering that when she had scanned the collar just moments before, no information on solar absorbers had been revealed. That aside, she was frustrated to find herself slowed to a crawl as a magnetic locking device was attached to her.

It would not delay her long, however, as she quickly targeted the device with a small but powerful burst of plasma that reduced it to slag. The nanobots scattered harmlessly against the kinetic shielding around her person, gaining no access to the actual metal of her form. Aiedail turned to face Gabrielle for a moment, yelling towards her "Stay back, citizen! This person is highly dangerous! You are endangering yourself!"

Then her jets kicked in again, and she powered forwards. Rapidly gaining on the child due to her speed, she decided to swap to more conventional means of catching up. She aimed a small energy bolt at his leg, and fired. The superheated projectile was intense enough to burn through the hull of a conventional starship, considering the energy packed into its small size.

Once she started to close the distance, she once more locked her energy drain onto the collar, this time targeting the solar cells and aiming to drain them of power as it reached them, assuming that they were capable of such a feat indoors.

Gabrielle wasn't quite sure what all was going on, only that she wanted the individual that killed her mother to die a most painful death. If she had her way, she would be the one to kill him, but that wasn't going to happen clear back out of the way. Clearly ignoring the woman that suggested that she stay back due to the dangerous abilities of the murderer, Gabrielle took off like a shot, heading around the warehouse to enter through an open window that she happened to take note of when exiting the taxi cab. The man who had brought her to the port had already ran away from the scuffle, which really didn't matter to her. She could easily get another ride after the situation was taken care of or she would just walk back to the place she was currently staying. Hopefully once he was killed, Remy would reopen the bar and she could return to her old hotel room on top of Gambit's. Well, in theory, she would probably head back to her real home in order to continue with the movie she was working on. Realizing she was not focused, the fifteen-year-old took in a deep breath and re-centered herself.

Alright, time to get this over with.

There were several boxes outside of the window, which allowed her to quickly scale up to the window sill. Cautiously peeking over it, Gabrielle could vaguely hear something strange emitting somewhere from within the building. The gun was still gripped tightly within her hand and she had to focus to keep from charging it. A while back, she figured out by accident that she had the same powers of her father - charging inanimate objects, but she rarely used the ability. The idea of accidentally setting off her gun was not all that appealing, so she had to make sure to keep the ability in check. In her pants pocket was a deck of cards and if necessary, she could use them to make stuff go boom. But, she didn't necessarily want to explode things inside of an unfamiliar setting. It took her a moment to realize she would need both hands to climb through the window, and with a slight frown, she slid the gun back into its holster. Hoisting herself up, Gabby was glad to see that there were boxes on the other side, and after sliding through the opening, she quietly shimmied back down to the ground.

Moving past the different crates, she carefully edged through what appeared to be an obvious maze. It didn't take her long to find him, thanks to his incessant muttering. She could feel energy radiating throughout the area and wondered just what the other female was doing in addition to wondering what the killer was doing. Not wanting to be left out of the fight, Gabrielle slid her fingers into her pocket and pulled out three of her cards. Quickly charging them, she narrowed her eyes, spotting both the man and the other woman. Stepping out from behind the crates, she spotted the one closest to him and threw the three cards towards it. Not even waiting for the tiny explosive things to hit, she reached into her pocket, pulling out three more, which she began to charge.

He looked at his device. 40 seconds.

All of a sudden, you could hear something moving, something loud, and something large. It was as if stone was dragging against stone (only the material is actually MUCH, MUCH stronger). It caused some slight shaking, and it gave the occasional strange noise, unlike any you have ever heard of before. It had already made the noise twice now.

30 seconds.

He climbed some of the crates to get some high ground, looking at one crate at the center that was right below him. However, when that one woman fired upon him, he had no choice but to fire back. He fired at her 6 times, then continued climbing. It had hit another 3 times.

20 seconds.

While this moving noise continued to be loud, it was obviously coming from the center crate that stood right below the assassin, who was using some of the crates as cover. He threw out another Cluster Turret Grenade, deploying them all around the Warehouse to deter intruders. He then fired up a Supercharged Flare into the air, creating a blinding light that would make visuals near impossible for a few seconds.

10 seconds.

It had hit 2 more times now, and a third quickly after. Then, all of a sudden, a noise could be heard, a loud noise, as this blue burst of energy, that sort of looked like a large splash of water, burst out of the top of the crate, and inside was a fully hooked up Stargate, completely active.

0 Seconds. Time to jump.

It was right as he jumped he noticed the collar's power had been drained, but this did not matter. It was not the reason he did this. No, I do this for my sister. I fail, they kill her... He jumped, diving right into the Stargate to escape the Spaceport and Terra.
