A young gypsy from Barovia in search of the people who murdered her parents. She is also a skilled knife-fighter.

Description
She is short and very thin, with coppery skin and waist length emerald hair. Her glittering amber eyes are large and beautiful. The nineteen year old is long of limb, and very agile. She typically wears a sleeveless white shirt beneath a leather bodice, a short red cloak, an open-sided white sarong, and soft brown boots. She often adorns herself with many bits of jewelry.
Personality
On the outside, Ellis is a cheerful and upbeat girl who always looks on the bright side of life. In reality, she has a dark and brooding nature, and is prone to violence and depression. She does her best to conceal her true self, but sometimes the facade wears thin.

History
She was raised by Grandmother Nada, an old gypsy fortune teller who was also the leader of a troupe of gypsies wandering Barovia. Nada taught Ellis how to fight, use wind magics, dance, sing, read palms, and use Tarokka cards. The old gypsy woman took her in after Nada found her crying in the street beside the bodies of her murdered parents. Ellis has grown to despise all criminals in general, but she harbors a special hatred for the one who murdered her mother and father: Straud Von Zarovich, Lord of Barovia.

Ellis entered the bar warily, keeping a keen eye out for trouble. This definitely looked like a bar where a knife between the ribs was not an uncommon occurance. Cautiously, she sat down at the bar, taking a seat beside Sadb. She smiled lightly at the elf.
Ellis "You look rather out of place here," the young woman said to Sadb in a friendly tone.
She then turned to the bartender and said, "Excuse me, can I get a soda, please?"

Ellis "Thank you very much," Ellis replied as she began to fish in her pockets for money.
After a few moments of searching, she smiled up sheepishly at the bartender, laughing nervously.

Ellis breathed a sigh of relief that there had been loose change on the table. Her own pockets were quite devoid of any sort of currency. However, she was taken aback by the elf woman's rather harsh attitude.
"N-no, not that I'm aware of!" Ellis stammered out. "I mean, I've seen other elves before here. It's just that they usually come in groups. I didn't mean to offend!"

Ellis began to wonder if there was some way she could convince the bartender to give her a free slice of pie. It looked so good ...
Ellis rose from her seat very casually, and began to meander her way toward the case where the pies were.
Ellis jumped in surprise at Sadb's outburst, nearly banging into the wall. She laughed quickly before saying to Sadb with a smile, "Well, don't worry about it. I'm not mad."
Ellis took one last forlorn look at the case of pies, then walked back over to the bar and sat down beside Valdimir.
"Yes?" she asked hesitantly.
"Yes?" she asked hesitantly.
Ellis breathed a sigh of relief at hearing his words. She was more than willing to let him buy her pie. Of course, it would be foolish to let it slip that the bar till was her next mark, but perhaps this older gentleman could fill her pockets regardless.
"Sure, I'll go ask," Ellis replied with a smile. "Thank you very much, sir."

Ellis smiled and nodded at Joy as she walked past him, approaching Boldo.
"Excuse me," the young woman asked him, "how much are the pies?"

Ellis quickly returned to Valdimir, saying, "A slice is a buck twenty five and a whole pie is six bucks. Though where we're supposed to find deer in the city is beyond me."

Ellis took the money gladly, then quickly returned to Boldo, saying with a sad smile, "Here's six dollars. I'm sorry, but we don't have any deer. Can I still get a pie?"
Ellis "Thank you, Sir," she said to Valdimir as she took the half of pie handed to her.
She scooted closer to him and gave him a tight hug. However, the hug was just a well-concealed distraction while she attempted to pick his pocket.

Ellis smiled warmly as she stealthily slid the wallet into her own pocket before turning back to the pie. She began to eat with child-like exhuberance. It had been a long time since she had eaten any sweets.
Ellis rose from her seat as she smiled at Valdimir again.
"Thank you very much," she said to him before starting for the exit.
