Name: Victoria 'Empathy' Alfreiita.

Title: Duchess Victoria Alfreiita.

Bloodline: Pure Victorian Vampire.

Nickname: Empathy.

Gender: Female.

Age: It isnt polite to ask.

Weight: -Also isnt polite to ask..

Height: 6'5.

Hair: Light brown and wavy.

Eyes: Crimson.

Known Coven: All Deceased/In captivity.
-----------------------------------------------

Recognizable Features: Barbed fangs, used to hook into the victim's neck and to anchor herself so she cannot be removed until she wants to be, Empathy is also wearing fine dresses and nothing modern. It would be quite odd to see her in anything other then that sort of outfit, she likes the old times and doesnt really favor the new times... Technology is a new thing for her.

Descent: German Royalty.

Accent: Thick German.

Quote: "Manners, Manners..."

----------------------------------------------

Powers: Everything you would expect from a vampire. Super speed, Super strength, Hypnotism, transformation and an overall dominant feeling over their presence. Drinking blood regularly and having a coffin full of earth from her home land to sleep in allows her to have these powers. She is a classic sort...

To be specific, Empathy can run as fast as the wind may carry over the ground, she can lift literal tons with ease, she can allure the strongest of hunters and just like Count Vladislaus Dracula, she can transform into a giant bat, A wolf and her demon form.
When she enters the room eyes are usually on her and you get the feeling that she is much better then you...

Special Items: Empathy carries a Parasol, which seems to change colors and patterns as she changes her clothing. Usually only carried in the day, Empathy is not a daywalker, her powers do not work in direct sunlight (Or are drastically reduced) and eventually, she will start to burn. Hence the Parasol. It is a strange object, as all light coming towards it always seems to be swallowed up by the gem atop. The Parasol also seems quite durable, able to be used as a fencing tool or a mace easily.

Mitigation: As all Vampires, Empathy is pretty indestructible. Bullets, Knives, explosives, most magics.. All of them cant kill her. Maybe slow her down, but not in a million years could they rid the world of this Stunning Gothic Beauty forever... Some doubt anything can, as Empathy has been attack many a time by hunters and even a Van Helsing. All died, Save for Helsing, which got away... Helsings have a knack for getting away...

-------------------------------

Weaknesses: Different then the legends, but only a little bit.. She must drink blood to stay powerful, cutting off her supply will leave her brittle and significantly weaker...

She must be in a coffin or under her special parasol when the sun rises, if she wishes to keep her powers at full potential...

Silver is acidic. Put on the skin or stabbed, even held near. It will start to burn her. It also increases potency of other weaknesses.

Garlic does not repel, but blocks the ability to track a target by nullifying their scent with said garlic scent. To Empathy, Garlic smells like nothingness, so putting it on makes you invisible to her nose.

A Chain of Roses and thorns acts like a cross would, as the cross hurting vampires is only a speculation and a way to make the Christian church seem more holy.

Direct sunlight drains her powers to a point, it also can make her catch fire if she stays in it too long. (As well as making hair brittle and skin seem dry.)

She cannot cross running water without being in her coffin as well...

And Finally, Fire. Burning her body will give ample time to get away or prepare a stake to finish her while she regenerates...

Spreading her ashes in different places SHOULD prevent her from coming back, but there is no way to know for sure.. The Darkness is always waiting..Waiting for the light to flicker..To take hold again..

Enemies: Any Vampire hunter without a just reason for hunting, Rival Covens and Modern Vampires that dont keep to the unwritten Vampire code of conduct with the human world. (Hunter/Prey Relations. This includes romance or overfeeding.)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Personality: The Duchess is an Elegant, Very..VERY Rich woman. Regardless of Species or Age, she acts like a.. Well, A Very..VERY..Rich woman. Raised in a great castle and taught privately, most commoner things are foreign to her and..Technology is .. Rather Confusing. She tries to be kind for the most part and HATES Bloodlust vampires. They give her Elegant Victorian ancestors and her a bad reputation...

------------------------------------------------

History:

The Tome begins in the Early 14th century of this world. Around this time The Renaissance started to spread out of Italy and to the rest of Europe. The territory happens to be Germanic and the Region is South, the closest to Italy. It was a great time for Man and Beast alike, but this story's particular beast isnt that beastly at all..In fact, She was quite lovely...

Enter Romania Alfreiita, Twenty Five at the time of the events soon to come... This was old, to be frank, for this time in history and One would usually be married before, or at least very close to this age. Fair Romania, however, had not been wed... She Was the Heiress to the Alfreiita Fortune, Manor and business, which just happened to be assorted enterprises, from Art to weapon forging to Mining, The Alfreiita Legacy had it all... Unfortunately.. To Humans..This is not enough..And Even the most innocent of lusts can lead to a dead end.

Enter Francisco Diverchi, An Artist, Also Unwed..Like Romania. He had come from Italy, the promised land of knowledge and splendor.. But a job was not kind enough to grant him it's presence. For what? None would know, as the young Francisco was abnormally skilled... But coming from Italy into Southern Germany at the time, looking for a job was almost an invitation to run smack dab into The Alfreiita family...

And Run smack Dab he did, into Romania's father, Karl Alfreiita. A Strong, tall, Barrel chested, muscular and Iron eyed giant with a long beard tucked into his coat and lines under his eyes and on his forehead that reflected his great age even more. Pleading for work went to begging for work, when finally accepted (With help from Mistress Duvana Alfreiita, respectively) The Italian man was delighted and began his chores at once. The Manor was to be decorated like a chapel with fine holy paintings representing God and Christ standing in the Alfreiita house and smiling apon them.

For long days he toiled and was payed (Bountifully, if not a coin too much..) And forever it seemed that he would stay with The Family. One Wanted such a wish...

Romania.

She had watched the strong, Olive skinned Italian man from afar at her Room's balcony and often imagined a life with him. A life with a mere artist? This seemed..Forbidden to her Rank and Family standing, but she wanted it... So very much.

For the final months when Francisco was finishing the paintings and engravings inside of Alfreiita Manor she would talk to him, get to know him, anything to be close to him.. Instantly they connected, like fine art they were.. Even finer then what Francisco created over years of practice.. Others did not see them as such, of course..But Romania was a strong woman, even so much to daunt her giant of a father.. Reluctantly he agreed.

They were to be wed in October...

...Tragedy struck as tragedy does, when all seemed well and all was beautiful and planned out.. Tragic illness.. Francisco was poisoned. By what? No one knows.. Was it a vengeful father? A jealous entrepreneur? Or maybe even something as simple as the paint the young Italian man used?

This couldnt happen! The perfect life with a perfect man, Shattered! No! No!!! Romania would not have it. Witch-craft, Demon summoning, Anything to save her husband! To be with him forever... Red, pointed ears a' listening...

The 'Devil' answered her plea in the Dark Watches of the night when not even lamp light could repel the strange and alluring feeling of the darkness wrapping around you like thick, wet, black velvet...

Forever She would be with Francisco... As all tales tell, though..Lucifer is not one to keep an honest deal...

The Alfreiita family was struck with Pure Vampirism and Francisco was reduced to ash, which was then made into A glass locket before her eyes, the same color as his beautiful eyes... It was tied around her neck and in pure shock she went into a coma... Never Waking...Never aging.. With Francisco forever..

In later years The rest of The Alfreiita Family had lived on, many of her sisters or brothers, all spreading Vampirism or creating Still-born Vampire younglings with other covens.. Or their own Coven.. (Which was not that frowned apon back then as it is now.) One particular Still-born was one that would survive coming storms.. Victoria 'Empathy' Alfreiita. Her Pet Name Empathy because of the death she had given to her mother when born, as she was in her demon form when implanted. The Mother died (Which was one of Romania's sisters, the father being one of her cousins.) And Empathy stayed still born for another year until waking on some horrible secret will. (No other still born has ever done this, in the Alfreiita Coven, at least.) Growing quickly and taking her form that she does now, Empathy is the last of The Alfreiita Legacy that has not been killed or put into captivity... She takes it apon herself to stock the manor with fresh slaves and to manage her family's still active business tree. (Dont let her fool you though, she just signs things, her more intelligent slaves do everything, under her will of course.)

Now, Empathy focuses on surviving and setting an example for other Vampires.

So begins...

Empathy Appeared in the bar quite suddenly, not really caring tonight. Her parasol in her left, dainty hand. Her claws shining oddly in the bar's low light setting.
"Hmm.. Its almost like I dont want to be here.. Then why am I? Fate.. Is that you telling me to come hither? I'm not good at poetry.."

Empathy stood still as stone as the man ran into her. It would have probably felt like running into a brick wall... Empathy, though, being a Drama queen and.. one that doesnt have the greatest timing in the world, plays her act after the initial bump...

"Eeek!" The Vampiress squeaked, falling onto her rump, parasol at her side. "Oh no! I think I twisted my ankle!"

Empathy smiled, or tried, without the bag falling off her teeth as she sucked the blood from the medical-looking plastic container. Her shining nails turned black and much sharper as she fed, as well as her fangs longer, her eyes turning abyssal. She couldnt really talk in this state, so she just winked at the one who gave her the 'Snack'. "Mm."

"I'm home, Children..."

Empathy hummed a gentle tune as she went, it seemed to echo back to the woman as she went along..
"Hmmm.."
